"In a picturesque corner of Normandy, English chef Edward Delling-Williams fell in love with this presbytery that he has turned into a locavore gastro-pub. Untreated wood tables, hunting trophies on the wall, an imposing stone fireplace and exposed rafters set the scene. Here, hungry diners can dig into dishes such as mussels with aioli followed by a duck confit with an original and beautifully refreshing cucumber and mint salad, rounded off with a moist courgette loaf cake. The chef also owns a farm, where he grows his own fruit and vegetables." - Michelin Inspector

The best meal that I have had over all of the courses. Beautiful variety and contrast of flavours. The ingredients speak for themselves and it is a very unique menu. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious with a lovely local service.

My wife enjoys watching Chef Delling Williams’’ cooking shows. . Dining at the Presbytere was a phenomenal experience! The food was very fresh and the lamb was tender and flavorful! The atmosphere, food, and service were exceptional , and was well worth the 2 hour drive. Having the chef sit with us and chat, made the evening feel very personal ! He made us feel like we had been invited into his home to dine!

I guess my expectations were a bit high. I watch The French Pub on TV in the US. The food was good. Plating was nice. Portions were small but that is fine. We had the biggest artichoke I've ever seen - very good. One server managing eight tables so she was super busy. It would have been nice if her English was a bit better and if the menu was in English. Glad we went

We made the last minute decision to stop at the presbythere for lunch and we were not disappointed ! We had a super nice lunch outside in the garden. The staff was very accommodating with our toddler running around and the food was super fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back!

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday Roast dinner here. We ordered the lamb shoulder between 3 people and it was perfection! The lamb just fell apart and the gravy and mint vinaigrette were phenomenal. Carrots were cooked beautifully, cabbage had a lovely spice to it, and the potatoes were nice and fluffy. Would highly recommend.

The food was very nice but we were made to wait for everything without explanation. Our drinks didn't arrive until after our starters (my wife never received her starter, perhaps the waiting staff should write down orders) had been completed and even then only after three separate reminders. We were left waiting for well over thirty minutes between our mains and desert despite the fact that we were the only dinners remaining in the restaurant. The service ruined what had been a very well anticipated meal out during our Holiday, my wife was getting so frustrated that she wanted to leave. I didn't even get an apology for the tardy service when I left. You should do much better considering your price levels.

We had such a wonderful time here. Coming from New York and having been recommended by family to dine here we were very much looking forward to it for months. Chef is seen in the kitchen playing music and preparing dishes and it is like being welcomed into their home. The Sunday roast was amazing!! We left full and full of emotions! Thank you for speaking with us @EWD !! You made our night! Merci ! - Caitlin , Jean-Louis, Andrea, and Eric (maman NYC group)

We watch Edward's shows on TV in America and were disappointed he wasn't there but not at all surprised he wasn't for an 8pm reservation on Tuesday lol. All the food and service as well the location were wonderful! Thank you for a great dinner!
