Discover a modern British dining experience in a chic Shoreditch pub-restaurant, where innovative dishes and a cozy ambiance await.
"Shoreditch on Sundays can closely resemble the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. You’ll find deserted streets with the odd human stumbling around dazed and confused, in tattered clothing and a fedora, trying their best not to be sick. If it were a true zombie apocalypse, The Princess of Shoreditch is where survivors would scramble for safety. And a beer. And of course a Sunday roast. This place does great pub food any day of the week, but on a Sunday their rare beef roast, topped with a massive fluffy yorkshire, will remind you that the world is not a bad place. It’s just that Shoreditch sometimes is." - Team Infatuation
"Nobody ever questions the dynamics of three people at a pub. They’ll just assume you’re three mates having a pint. Or, we don’t know, planning a train robbery. The food here is solid gastropub fare, from beef short rib to an excellent Sunday roast. You’ll remain incognito as ‘the single one’ with the added bonus of not having to share the sticky toffee pudding. Golden." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak
"If you asked a trendy Shoreditch local to design a pub, the Princess of Shoreditch is what you’d get. It looks like good boozer, but with a polished East End cool about it. No one’s ever going to mistake it for an old-school pub, but really, we doubt anyone will care when the food’s this good. The roasts are a local fixture on Sundays, with good-looking plates of rare beef, lamb, and pork landing on tables at a fair clip. The beer selection’s short but good, the crowd is young and fun, and they have a thing called ‘umami salad’ on the menu, which is probably just a plate of mushrooms in soy sauce. Probably not, actually, but you get the idea." - David Paw
