The Best Restaurants in Vail, Colorado | Eater Denver

"What was once a movie theater anchoring the Solaris complex (RIP CineBistro’s Colorado locations) is now a swanky social club. Chasing Rabbits is a multisensory playground with a speakeasy, screening room, nightclub, arcade, and restaurant — all decked out in a surreal Alice in Wonderland theme. While members get access to VIP events, secret menus, liquor lockers, and guaranteed reservations, it’s open to the public, too. Make a night of it by starting with dinner, where Mediterranean dishes like salmon crudo, whole grilled branzino, and braised rabbit Bolognese set the tone for an evening down the rabbit hole." - Katie Shapiro

Google
Highly recommend! Beer and cider are super affordable for vail and the portions were not disappointing. Staff was extremely friendly at the bar. Fun experience walking in and the perfect selection of arcade games.

Do NOT go to the Rabbit Hole nightclub. It is, without exaggeration, one of the most hostile and toxic environments we’ve ever experienced. The bouncers and staff are racist, aggressive, power-hungry, and completely unprofessional. They don’t just lack training—they seem to thrive on intimidation and abuse. Our group, which included a wedding party, was targeted, harassed, and physically assaulted without cause or provocation. One of our friends was already leaving when he was manhandled and thrown around like trash—we have the photo to prove it. This isn’t a nightclub—it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. It’s chaos wrapped in cheap LED lights pretending to be luxury. The Rabbit Hole is a venue with a complete identity crisis: half arcade, half club, zero class. It's marketed as whimsical and upscale, but what you actually get is a dangerous, discriminatory mess. We visit Vail often, and this place will never get a cent from us again—not until it’s shut down or taken over by people who understand basic human decency and the law.

Solid experience Saturday night. Service is extremely good, and the ambience is great. Now to the food: crisp yummy salad, good eggplant dip appetizer to start with. The main dish was vegetarian mousses, an amazing combination of flavors however very salty - I hope it was a one time mistake! And the desserts saved the evening - layers of lemon and raspberry cream in the olive oil cake, And amazing pistachio ice cream in the baklava nest. Congratulations to the pastry chef! Thank your for having us!

Google
wouldn’t recommend this place. The manager on duty was incredibly rude and handled a situation with my child in an unacceptable way. I take full responsibility—my 3-year-old attempted to climb onto a game, which he shouldn’t have (though he is 3). Before I could intervene (I was just steps away), the manager physically grabbed him and placed him on the ground. It frightened him, understandably. Rather than addressing the situation with any professionalism or kindness, she continued to be unnecessarily rude. For a place marketed as an arcade, it was not a family-friendly experience at all.

Kent Morgan

Google
Haha the reviews match exactly what it was. Rude establishment with an uptight manager. Got her flying monkeys to kick us out for just trying to find our friends. Place was almost empty and bartenders were trying to cheat us of drinks, thankfully one bartender apologized for another upcharging us.

Lisa Carvalho

Google
Very strange night club no seats at all. Bouncers all over the place, very bossy as to where you can stand. They definitely have an aggressive attitude. And pick up drinks before your done and with out asking. Would not recommend this place at all.

Adam Holowecky

Google
Been here twice been kicked out twice, honestly this place is butt. Never been to a bar that blocks you out after cover starts. Ok ambiance but they kick people out once cover starts which I’ve never heard of. Over priced drinks and over priced cover the owners need to reassess

Nazarii Kobrynskyi

Google
Strongly recommended! visit this place and have great time, we did some snowboard party that was insane. Go and check. I get my food quickly and food was good, one of the best atmosphere in town. When they switch to night club make sure you have your id with you, Some random guy ask me for my id and I didn't know that guy was security, good idea for security to have some t-shirt and it will tell me it's security 🤔.

Yelp
Great food, environment was amazing and the back room club is a nice touch. Go back and do the Photo Booth

Yelp
Our anniversary dinner was memorable due to Moe's service. He was welcoming, informative, and efficient. If you are looking to celebrate a nice occasion, this is your spot, but you MUST ask for Moe.

Yelp
During our group's visit to Chasing Rabbit in Vail, CO to play at their venue space, we embarked on a culinary journey that showcased the restaurant's creative flair and commitment to quality. From inventive cocktails to refined appetizers and hearty entrées, each dish told a story of flavor, texture, and presentation. The evening began with a round of cocktails that set the tone for the meal. While I enjoyed a local IPA from the tap, my wife enjoyed the 'Beans to Nuts' martini, rich and indulgent treat with a frothy top and deep espresso hue. Crafted with Moulin Vodka, espresso, Nux Alpina walnut, vanilla bean balsamic, and chocolate bitters, it offered a bold, dessert-like flavor profile perfect for coffee lovers. Equally impressive our friend had the 'Summer Dragon'--a visually stunning and refreshing drink served in a martini glass with a vibrant orange hue. Rimmed with a reddish-brown seasoning and garnished with a slice of dragon fruit, it featured Reyka Vodka, Italicus, lemon, dragon fruit syrup, and rose sage bitters. Bright and citrus-forward, it was the ideal summer cocktail. To start, the 'Serrano Ham Croquetas' delivered a perfect balance of crispy and creamy textures. Golden and breaded, they were served atop a rich manchego fonduta and filled with Yukon potato and jamón serrano. Each croqueta was topped with Sturia Prestige caviar, adding a refined brininess that elevated the dish. The 'Spanish Ceviche' was a vibrant and refreshing plate featuring diced cod marinated in lemon and garlic, mixed with avocado, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, and olathe corn. Served with crisp rice crackers, it offered a satisfying contrast of textures and a bold, citrusy flavor. Another standout was the 'Crispy Pork Belly'--perfectly crisped on the outside and tender within. Garnished with pomegranate seeds, mint, coriander mostarda, lemon, and whipped labneh, it was a visually striking and flavorful small plate. But to top off the small plates was the American Wagyu Crudo - an elegantly plated dish featuring thin slices of premium American Wagyu beef, served raw in a crudo style that highlights its delicate texture and rich flavor. Garnished with enoki mushrooms, black garlic, and sorrel, a drizzle of black vinegar adds acidity and depth, while Belper Knolle cheese shavings and horseradish provide a sharp, earthy contrast, and topped with Sturia Prestige caviar, the crudo is elevated with a touch of luxury and brininess. Moving into the main courses, the 'Moroccan Chicken Tagine' brought bold North African flavors with a modern twist. Tender chicken seasoned with ras el hanout was served over saffron red lentils and accompanied by broccolini. Garnishes of dried apricot dukkah, marcona almonds, and spiced prune puree added layers of sweetness, crunch, and depth. The '2 Bone Pork Chop' was a hearty and satisfying entrée. Beautifully seared and served atop asparagus risotto, the dish was complemented by jamón-braised collard greens and finished with a Calabrian balsamic glaze. It balanced rustic comfort with refined technique, making it a highlight of the meal. Chasing Rabbit delivered a memorable dining experience through its exceptional services, thoughtful presentation, bold flavors, and inventive pairings. Whether enjoying a cocktail, savoring a small plate, or indulging in a main course, each item reflected the restaurant's dedication to culinary excellence.

Yelp
Chasing rabbits was one of the coolest dining experiences I had. My partner and I went for our anniversary and the ambiance is incredible alongside the service being super fast. I did feel that it was sometimes too fast because they wanted to do quick turnarounds but my partner and I definitely didn't let that stop us from taking our time. We started with the appetizers of the tuna carpaccio (a little too lemony but they're lucky I love the sour flavor) and the corn gnocchi which is to die for. For the main course, my partner got the steak and I got their famous rabbit bolognese. I can't explain how delicious both of these dishes were. I'd never tried rabbit prior to this experience and it tastes just like chicken which paired super well with the pasta sauce. For dessert, we got 2 desserts because we couldn't decide. We ended up liking the hazelnut Ferraro Rocher looking dessert which tastes just like it. The chocolate mousse was a bit too grainy for my taste. As a heads up, they do ask you to pick your appetizer and entree at the same time. This actually turned out really well in terms of pairing. Overall, I highly recommend it! Do keep in mind that this is a fine dining space if you do a three course meal and drinks. They also have a connecting space that has a bar and arcade games near the bathrooms.

Yelp
What a cool vibe at Chasing Rabbits in Vail Village! This is not your standard ski town establishment. Part restaurant, part night club, part speakeasy with a European feel. I've dined at Chasing Rabbits twice and have been delighted both times. The experience itself makes it worth checking out and the food is also superb. There are two dining areas, a lively open space in the front, and a quaint, quieter library which is where I have eaten both times. The library has a Dali theme, and if you and your dining partner need topics of conversation, you can admire the fun and kitschy art and objects that adorn the bookshelves. Even the menu has a literary theme, divided into preface, introductions, prologue, and epilogue. The hitipiti on the preface menu is a delicious feta spread and the tuna carpaccio was beautiful and tender. The crispy xtapodi (octopus) was tender and had a beautiful smoky flavor. For entrees (prologue), the Vegan moussaka was surprisingly flavorful and beautiful, the toasted cashew cream unique and delicious. The snapper was just so-so, very tender but a bit bland for my taste. The Loup de Mer (epilogue) was the standout - a whole fish to share with a unique presentation of whole grapes and fennel. After dinner, take a stroll through the windy halls of the complex, where you will truly feel like Alice and Wonderland fallen down the rabbit hole. There is a game room complete with a bar with a marquis theme, and fun arcade games that are fun for the whole family. The space turns into a nightclub after hours, with a DJ spinning hip beats. Or you can check out some smooth jazz in the speakeasy on weekends when it is open. Overall a super cool experience that is different from anything in Vail. Highly recommend for a unique, delicious and entertaining evening!

Yelp
Came here for brunch with a few friends on a Sunday. We showed up near the end of brunch, so we were seated very quickly at the outside covered patio area. Vail in general has a great vibe, so the ambiance was good. I ordered the bottomless mimosas as well as their crab Benedict. The crab Benedict itself was pretty disappointing. Not that much crab, and it was a bit too salty. The bottomless mimosas are very worth it though. This place is a great place to get bottomless mimosas, and they've got a lot of great tasting and unique flavors like lavender and pandan. The service here was also great, I just wish the food was a bit better. Overall, if you're looking for a cute place to have brunch with bottomless mimosas, I'd recommend chasing rabbits.

Yelp
What a cool spot, highly recommend stopping in for at least a drink. We went on Thursday night to the speakeasy and they had trivia, so much fun! The service was great, quick drinks to the table. And the atmosphere makes this spot, the decor, lighting and overall WOW factor was around every corner.

Yelp
This is high class! Probably the most known place in vail village. It's a little hidden but right next to the parking structure and ice ring. The service was great. We went on a Friday night and split plates. The rabbit did have a bone in it which grossed me out. But I also shared the pork chop with pumpkin risotto which was probably my favorite. You get a wrist band for the "club" that opens at 10pm. There also is a speakeasy that the waiter said we could go to but found out it was closed for a private event. Now for the after party club, I'm assuming this is the only "club" in vail but don't quote me. It's filled with an older crowd and I'm assuming it's because no one else can afford it. Drinks are $20 even for a Tito's and crab. This isn't Vegas but the music was good. It's a vibe that's for sure

Yelp
Atmosphere was brilliant. We were seated at a long table in the Library room. Really great vibes and interior design on the inside. Drink menu was stellar. Food was served in rather small portions so we had to get a lot of dishes for family style with a group of 13. Because we had a large group I had to call ahead to reserve our table. I worked with the Miranda, their director of events, to reserve our table and she was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Towards the end of our reservation when we were interested in ordering desserts, our server Tyler became quite rude, when I asked if he was ok, he responded that he was "fine just busy". Our group was not impressed with how we were treated so that is the only reason for this not being a 5 star review.

Yelp
This was such a fun environment to be in, especially if you have kids/teenagers. You get to the Rabbit Hole through the chasing rabbits restaurant. You can buy an arcade card and use it at the games. However there are no servers just bar tenders. They have a limited menu as well. This is just a fun hangout spot for vacati

Yelp
This was hands down our favorite meal of this trip and it had some pretty stiff competition! At first I was not sure how it was going to go - we decided to try the arcade first but it was shut for a special event so they kindly seated us early but almost 15 minutes later we were waiting on service but then realized our server was swamped by a demanding and quite frankly awful table behind us!! Once we got going it was amazing! The food was out of this world - we started with ceviche which was incredible and two dips : eggplant whiz was lovely and garlicky and was served alongside delicious frankly made chapatis! We also had the whipped ricotta with chili crunch which I will dream about! Then we had the octopus and the tuna which was again out of this world! We finished with two spectacular desserts - the peach dessert looked like a peach and was filled with mascarpone! The chocolate dessert tasted like a giant Ferraro Rocher which was all fine with me!! Amazing meal and fabulous way to end our trip!

Yelp
My oh my where do I even begin! This spot is awesome! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Vail if not my personal favorite. The food is absolutely incredible and the service is just as good. The ambiance and the vibes are immaculate. They have multiple rooms and a library room and an arcade room. It's a high end place as you can see from the pictures I posted. The rabbit bolognese and the bone marrow is what I recommend but you can not go wrong with anything here. I highly recommend this place and I will be back! FYI they also have tons of gluten free options.

Yelp
Haven't had dinner or been to the speakeasy yet, but have gone here for after dinner drinks/games at the arcade and it's always super fun! Good way to escape the cold and do something different. The arcade is kid friendly until 9pm I believe but contact them for details!

Yelp
The vibes are high here! At Chasing Rabbits there's many rabbit holes to fall into: the restaurant, the library lounge, and arcade and speakeasy. It's the most unique spot we found in Vail for dinner and drinks. The restaurant service was impeccable and incredible atmosphere all around. The skirt steak, halibut and peach burrata were amazing. They have a diversely crafted wine list and plenty delicious things to order here. Post-dinner we wandered about(as recommended) and went into the speakeasy where the DJ plays at 9:30PM(no cover if you dined at the restaurant or get there early-call to confirm time for entry). It was a really fun experience-10 out of 10!

Yelp
Highly recommend if you wanna go and experience snobbery at its finest. I heard pretty bad reviews about the night club but I wanted to give it a shot. This place 100% targets the rich snobby tourist of Vail, if you aren't one of the you're definitely going to feel uncomfortable. Each drink is about $25, and when you get your receipt back, the bartenders have already tipped themselves another $10. As a Vail Valley local, we will sadly not be coming back here. Will definitely keep going to Bridge Street.

Yelp
This unique concept was one of a kind!! A group of us ladies went here for a bachelorette dinner, ate at the restaurant and then made our way down the rabbit hole to dance and party the night away thanks to Tristan the VIP host who helped us make sure we didn't have to do anything but have a great time. Which we absolutely did!. The DJ had such good tunes and the service was awesome. Thank you to Marcarena our server, Moe the manager and we even had our own private security guard, Diego!! Thanks for looking out for us Diego. If you wanna have an amazing dinner at a unique restaurant and then find your way to an exceptional night out afterwards, all under the same roof, this is the venue for you - one of a kind concept and we had the time of our lives, thank you Chasing Rabbits we were definitely #UpToSnowGood If I am ever back in Vail, you will definitely see this snow bunny again.

Yelp
I often get really excited to visit a place that's hyped up to see what the hype is all about, and yet so often I get disappointed. Especially with new establishments that try to be the up and coming new hotness, trendy and different. Chasing Rabbit falls under this category. While I can appreciate the novelty of dining in a Library, I was underwhelmed by the size of it upon entry. I was expecting something more grand based on the website picture. But the tall ceilings help give it a more spacious feel. Also would have been nice if you could actually "check out a book" to read while you're there. The Arcade has a fun vibe as well. The real disappointment was in the food. The quality of gourmet cooking and craft cocktails did not match the ambience or live up to the hype. Let's go through the list... * Their most popular drink the winter dragon was a bit too syrupy for my taste. I recommend the "Flight to Sardinia" over that. * The ricotta appetizer was tasty but too rich and not as fluffy as good ricotta should be. The first bite was great but quickly became a bit much especially for just two people. Tip: if they offer you more bread politely refuse unless you feel $7 extra is worth it for a few slices of bread. * Warning on the rabbit bolognese, it's cooked al dente. Had I known I wouldn't have ordered it. But if you like al dente, then you might like this dish. In terms of sauce there's nothing to write home about though. And if you've never had rabbit (this was my first time as well), the closest comparison for it is dark meat poultry. You're really not missing out on anything with this one. * Saving the best for last... the one saving grace was the skirt steak. Tender and tasty. And the small tart salad it comes with complements it well. There's a reason why I gave this place 4 stars and not 3 ;) Though presentation of this entree does leave something to be desired. Two words to describe this place: Gimmicky and Pretentious. It can get a little stuffy. I'm more a fan of authentic. But if you are in search of FIRST class food, go to Vin 48 in Avon. While their small plates may not be kind on your pocket book, it's money well spent when you wish to splurge. (I am in no way affiliated with Vin 48. I just know quality food when I taste it and I like to spread the word when I find it.) Of course there's also something to be said about going into a place without any expectations. Maybe my experience would have been more satisfying if I had gone in with no expectations. I might try that at the next new hyped up establishment ;)

Yelp
Highly recommend Chasing Rabbits when in Vail. Very hip place with creative cuisine and a great wine program. I had Rabbit Bolognese and it was outstanding. Our server was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Food and Ambiance (decoration- lighting and vibe) was 5 star but the service was disappointing. First time in town and my boyfriend got reservation for my BD! Let me start from the moment we enter: the vibe was very classy and boujiii and i loved it in 1st sight. We got couple appetizer and 2 main dish to share. Very tasty and presentation was great. Our servant was very nice and helpful but at the end after spending $500 the other person who was working there with very bad attitude didnt let us to take picture with decoration and told us to come back tomorrow. I get it, they wanted it to close and go home sooner but the way he treated us didnt Correlate with the money we spent and the vibe we experienced earlier. I think this is the most they lack, other than that I enjoyed every other details of our visit to this restaurant. Hope they work on the culture of service.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of dining at Chasing Rabbits for dinner while we were up in Vail. Chasing Rabbits is located in the Solaris and is serving up elevated Mediterranean fare. We arrived at Chasing Rabbits and were led to the Library. The Library was a more intimate dining space set away from the main dining room. The aesthetic was curious & sexy with low uplighting, books all around, & tiger rugs. Our server Moe was enigmatic & very knowledgeable on the menu; he gave us stellar recommendations. For cocktails I had the Greek Daquiri made with Greek brandy, lime, lemon, simple, & ouzo foam. This cocktail had a kick to it - the citrus juice from the lime & lemon went nicely with the intensity of the brandy & ouzo foam. The Constantinople Paloma was made with patron reposado, lime, agave, & mission fig sparkling grapefruit. This Paloma was refreshing and smooth - the herbaceous character of the tequila complemented the sweet ruby red grapefruit. The black salt on the glass was a nice touch in flair & flavor. The Mediterranean Spritz was made with genepy, celery root liqueur, italicus lemon, & prosecco. Stunning. This cocktail was thick on the tongue with herbal & savory flavors. For preface & intro dishes we had the Buttermilk Ricotta, Crispy Xtapodi, Kale Chop Salad and the Charred Eggplant Dip. The Buttermilk Ricotta was made with chili garlic crunch, & winter herb oil. The fluffy riccotta spread easily onto the crunchy baguette. The chili garlic added spice to the milky ricotta. The Crispy Xtapodi was made with octopus, chimichurri rojo, caper, ouzo, & feta. This was the best octopus Ross and I have ever had. It had a very meaty texture with a mouthwatering smokiness to it. The chimichurri rojo was vibrant on the palate. The Kale Chop Salad was made with prosciutto de parma, iberico chorizo, pickled peppers, pangrattato, & preserved lemon vinaigrette. This was an impressive kale salad with a lot of substance to it. The silky vinaigrette generously coated all the ingredients in the bowl. The Charred Eggplant Dip was made with hemp seed tahini, lemon, & chapati. The eggplant dip was thick and smooth and went well with the chew of the flat bread. For my main I had the Orecchiette Ragout made with vegan Italian sausage, arrabiatta, basil, and the addition of bone marrow. This was a hearty and comforting pasta dish layered with lots of flavor. The bone marrow added a full-bodied saltiness to the pasta. Ross had the Shwarma Spiced Hanger Steak made with crispy potato, charred peppers, & gooseberry chimichurri. The hanger steak was beautiful in presentation and taste. It was cooked to medium-rare perfection and seasoned with warming and earthy Mediterranean spices. Each bite was beefy & delicious. Following dinner we checked out Chasing Rabbit's speakeasy, Moon Rabbit as well as their arcade/club Rabbit Hole. The exclusive speakeasy, Moon Rabbit had epic cocktails that tasted as good as they looked. The Cosmonaut cocktail came to the table perched atop a gold platter that was held by an astronaut; a berry flavored bubble was then floated into the top of the coup glass for the ultimate presentation. The Cosmonaut was made with Vodka, Yuzu Liqueur, Persimmons Liqueur, & Lime Juice. The Yuzu Liqueur was fragrant and introduced a citrus profile to the drink. The persimmon liqueur and lime gave off tart yet sweet flavors. The We're All Mad Here was made with Maestro Dobel Diamante Infused with Cinnamon + Star Anise, Lime Juice, Apple Cider, & Brown Sugar Syrup. It served two. This was my favorite cocktail of the night. It had aromas of floral and cinnamon and burst onto the palate with a refreshing apple cider taste. Once we finished up our drinks at Moon Rabbit, we were escorted to their arcade & club - Rabbit Hole. Rabbit Hole had a full bar, dj, dance floor and numerous arcade games.

Yelp
As mentioned in my review of Matsuhisa, we were in Vail to ski at the end of February and beginning of March, in search of restaurants, we were referred to Chasing Rabbits. We heard that there was a Speak-easy and decided to check it out but there was a private party that night. There were all sorts of cool nooks and crannies including one of the dinning rooms called the Library in the old movie theater building. We were able to make a reservation for the next night. We arrived and to our surprise, we were seated in the Library. Our server Stacey, was engaging and attentive. We ordered the Falafel, a deep fried ball of chick peas, and the conserva, a sardine tin filled with chilled shelled mussels in a light chili sauce. The appetizers were very tasty and something you don't see everyday. The the list of main meals has a minimalist approach to choices. We ordered the half chicken to share which was served with a charred brocolini. The chicken was well cooked and the brocolini tasty. For dessert, we had the hazelnut bar which didn't disappoint. All in all a very cool experience and something different. I will stop in the next time in Vail.

Yelp
So much fun here. Amazing vibes and food! Service was great as well. We went for my birthday and had a blast with all the different rooms.

Yelp
I had a fabulous time here with my family. We had a fabulous dinner in the Library. The food was delicious and my 10 year old actually got her steak off the kids menu medium rare, how she likes it. So many other restaurants cooks kids' steaks well done no matter how it is ordered. Then my kid won't eat it. This restaurant actually listened. Amazing! Our server was also amazing. Very attentive and friendly. I liked that it had all the different rooms. We only saw the Library, Restaurant, and Rabbit Hole. But all the rooms we did see were really nicely decorated and designed. Rabbit Hole was super fun. The Twister game was unique. Rabbit Hole also had Pinball, Pong, Street Fighter, PacMan, Skee Ball, and a basketball game. But it wasn't super crowded on a Saturday around 7pm. We were able to play lots of games. Yes it was expensive. But it is Vail and it was a rare night out with my family. Totally worth it and so much fun.

Yelp
This is an amazing place! Nothing like anything else in Vail. The main dining room has a modern vibe. It is a bit loud w the sound of music and guests both young and old having a great time We enjoyed the crunchy octopus, pork belly, rabbit bolognese and loved the lamb tangine. We had two desserts both excellent. The service is exceptional. There are many rooms to explore. This space is out of this world! A must see when you are in Vail!

Yelp
In a word: FUN. tried this place on our ski trip to vail on a whim and I'm glad we did. Different rooms have different vibes and styles. The food and drinks were pretty good but the arcade bar area was such a cool after dinner spot to hang with the kids over a drink. Frankly I'd go without them with the fun retro arcade games. Servers were attentive. Host seemed genuinely excited to have us there. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp

Yelp
The ambiance is second to none--you'll feel compelled to explore every room and hallway as soon as you step inside. Quite an experience in itself. The food is good, and the staff are pleasant. But you mostly come here for the experience of being transported to another world. Even the restrooms are a unique departure from the ordinary.

Yelp
Another solid restaurant in Vail. I was not impressed by the arcade, but it's not meant for me anyways. The food was pretty delicious throughout. Ambiance is good. Also very conveniently located.

Deff needed this type of place in vail. It's such a good vibe. I love all the different rooms and games to discover. While drinks are at a premium, it's worth it for the atmosphere and vibe. They also have lots of different programming throughout the week so be sure to check out their website/social for what's going on when!

Yelp
The absolute worst place I've ever been. Bad vibes, overpriced drinks, and rude staff. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to come here. No locals or good music. Do not recommend. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Yelp
Chasing Rabbits was... fine. Our food was fine, the service was fine, and the ambiance was nice. It's clearly trying to be an upscale Vegas or New York City like experience, but it's... not. I can't put my finger on it, but I was very underwhelmed.

Yelp
Went to Chasing Rabbit on a double date and was very impressed. We started with the Tonnatto Crudo for the table while we waited for our meals and we were practically fighting for the last bite. For dinner I had the Braised Rabbit Bolognese and the rest of the group had the Skirt Steak A La Plancha and everything was great. The steak was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned the mashed potatoes were creamy and slightly sweet creating a perfect balance. For dessert we ordered salted caramel sorbet, affogato, and the Prosecco poached pear and to be honest we all had a different favorite. The place is adorable. Took a bunch of cute photos after dinner on our way to the arcade. Would recommend for a fun date night.

Yelp
Excellent selection, wonderful drinks- and when they say 'shareable' they're not kidding. Huge portions!

Yelp
Food was great, measurements and sizes were small probably 'cause it's a fancy place and menu, but taste and quality was beyond. Ambiance was excellent, loved the restaurant, speak easy and arcade room. Drinks and bartenders were top. Vail needed this!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Great portion sizes. Bartender in charge of drink orders made every drink to perfection! Staff did an amazing job at explaining every dish, and helping us select our dishes. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant while on your vacation to Vail.

Yelp
The ball dropped to bring in 2025, and I'm not talking about the ball in Times Square. We were promptly told to arrive at 7:30pm for our reservation, other wise 15 min past our check in we lose our reservation and $500 for 2 prefixed menu seats for this "extravaganza event". The theme was Moulin Rouge, and the really flopped on the execution of the theme. They think a windmill in front of the building and a flyer of the event will sell the illusion of fantasy that there were aiming for. They were incredibly misguided and perhaps never even seen the movie to get an idea of the theme and what was missing, hoping its customers will makeup for their lack of decor by dressing the part of Moulin Rouge. We walked in exactly at 7:30pm through the doors. Greeted by two massive mastiff hound dogs (wore tuxedos, pretty cute), but reeked like we walked into a PetCo. They were not for show, but were actual reservation guests own dog, and both of these massive dogs were not even service animals and were let in the restaurant freely. As we checked in, we waited, and waited, and waited for a whole 45 min. During this time, I asked if there was an open bar available for those who are waiting at the front. They told us no. That was the first 15 min of our wait time. I checked in a 2nd time, and was told we were 10 min away from being seated. That was a lie. A full 40 min has passed and I'm not pleased with how we were threaten to lose our seats if we don't show up on time, and in doing so we weren't seated right away and ignored. I asked the ladies in the front desk that I think it's ideal to have the bar open to guests who are waiting to be seated. They agreed with that brilliant concept and served those who are waiting drinks. 45 min in, we were seated. Approaching the table was a mess. Food all over the floor of our table, tongs from serving food shoved in the corner. And the music was way too loud to even think clearly. We were greeted by our waiter, which he did an excellent job on his part. We were told that our menu was "family size/style", the menu looked promising. Mind you, $250 per person, no drinks included. Not even champagne. The servings they served was made for one person, that was split for 2 people. It was an absolute joke and an insult with the quality and quantity of the food for what we paid for on New Year's Eve dinner menu. We should have been given our own plates individually. And speaking of plates, down size them! They shoved 4 massive plates on our table after every course and there wasn't enough room on our small table. We had to stack our dishes to make room. Ridiculous. And to make matters worse, some of the dishes were served cold, which was not enjoyable to the touch of the tastebuds. Chasing Rabbits was my go to spots for dates/family and friends gathering. But wow did they drop the ball on this one BIG time. And to the manager, who was boasting himself proudly in his white tuxedo, I hope you are reading this. Hang up the jacket, because it seems you are not in tune with the customer and had to let the customers figure out how to resolve this botched delivery. For any Christmas/new years or any promised event held by Chasing Rabbits, AVOID THEM. Absolutely con artists for trying to pull a rabbit out of the hat trick. Instead it was a turd.

Yelp
According to my wife, "They need to get their sh*t together." Lotta hype, so we went to see what it was all about. We started in the Rabbit Hole/Arcade, which is a nice bar set in the middle of a noisy arcade complete with people shooting hoops and kids running around and we couldn't find anyone to take an order for appetizers (appies). Wasn't my scene. At 7:00PM the "speakeasy," called Moon Rabbit opened up, so we thought we'd give that a try. The website said that they had their own menu. Turned out they weren't serving food because of (fill in the blank), but we ordered a $50 drink that served each of us about 1-1/2 glasses of a very delicious Tequila cocktail. That wrapped up our first visit. The next time we made a reservation at the restaurant because wifey read that they had our favorite, whole bronzini. About 10 minutes after seating us at a comfortable table with a wrap around couch on two sides, the hostess came and apologized, being new and all, but said that she seated us at the wrong table. Seeing that I was about to say something rude, my wife gave me "the look" and told the hostess that it was no problem. We were then seated at a similar table about 10 feet away. When the waitress came over, we told her that we'd like to start with some appies, then go from there. She told us that she had to put the entire order in at the same time, so we ended up ordering a couple of appetizers and bronzini for each of us. Perhaps as consolation, she told us that our receipt for dinner would get us into the comedy show happening in one of the other rooms. The sardine appetizer tasted like the sardines I get at Costco, only warmed up. The octopus, my wife's favorite was just OK. The first bite was interesting, but it went downhill from there. My wife loved the bronzini, said it was the best she ever had. Personally, I like it served whole, with the bones intact and not a lot of goop on top. This one was deboned, flattened and smothered in cabbage and fennel, or something. For dessert we had a pistachio something with what looked like shredded wheat. I'd give that a 5 or 6 out of 10. Oh, yeah. When we went over to check out the comedy show, a very rude lady told us that we had to pay, that the waitress was wrong about our receipt getting us in for free. I'm no restaurateur, but I do frequent restaurants and entertainment venues of all types and if I was in charge, I would have honored the waitress's promise, whether or not she was mistaken. After all she represents the restaurant. Which may tell you all you need to know. On the way out, my wife (a few drinks in, by this time) told everyone who worked there that they needed to get their sh*t together.

Yelp
Val welcomed us to Chasing Rabbits and made sure we had a great night. Our waitress with the strawberry blond hair was excellent too. The food was amazing, gourmet but also comfort. There are more GF options then listed! Headed to the arcade. Thank you for a perfect birthday evening, fun for the adults and the kids!

Yelp
Not worth the hype-or cover!! They charge you so much to walk in the door only to charge you $15 for well drinks! They're disrespectful at the door, staff treat you horribly. Why are you charging a cover if there's no cost check? Drinks are so poorly made you don't even want to spend money here. I don't get why the games are always off, when isn't that the point? The dance floor is siphoned between games that you never get to use and their ridiculous bar. It is a beautiful venue but the people who operate this restaurant and bar are horrible. This is Colorado not NYC or Europe. Get real! How is this place going to stay open? No local will pay $15 in off season but I guess keep making money off of ill informed tourists and see how far that endears you to them and locals.

Yelp
This place is hot and new, opened a month ago. It is the first concept restaurant in Vail. Food is great, drink very creative, but what makes this restaurant stand out is the ambience. The entrance is very much in disguise, with misty window and a little sign just at the right door. And even more if you'd like to find the hidden speakeasy inside (which is highly recommended after dinner). The awakening of senses starts with the space, confirmed with good food, then ends with amazing drinks (like an Old Fashion served in a miso bowl). It is a bit on the pricey end, but in my opinion totally worth the experience. Will be back for special occasions, or just a night out after a stressful week to reset and rewind.

Yelp
This is the best newest date night spot in Vail. We started the night with dinner by the romantic fireplace. Every dish was very unique and Mediterranean-inspired. My favorite was the kale chopped salad and the rabbit Bolognese. Even though the restaurant is only open for a week, the service was very fast and friendly. After dinner, we head over to the speakeasy moon rabbit room and try the three sheets to wind cocktail for two in a boat decanter. The presentation of this cocktail was exceptional. We chased the rabbit into the rabbit hole and ended the night with arcade games. Definitely will be back and excited to try other cocktails and menu items.
