Eat Your Way Through New Orleans’s Chef-Run Pop-Ups in 24 Hours | Eater New Orleans

"At Rabbit Hole Supper Club, run by chef Aaron Miller, I can get food from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. most Sundays, choosing between greasy spoon-style eggs (bacon or tofu), grits or hash browns, breakfast burritos, buttered Bunny Bread, or cinnamon French toast drizzled with real maple syrup; Miller also serves less breakfast-y dishes like spaghetti and meatballs and chicken dumpling soup and occasionally pops up at spots like Barrel Proof with a hearty, old-school-meets-vegetable-forward menu." - Beth D’Addono

When I tell you the stars aligned for my birthday. Man did they. I was looking for somewhere to just dance to deadmau5 type music and that's exactly what I got. From 10-12 it was banger after banger. After 12:30, the place started filling up and they just played dance music, which was still good. We had a great time. The outside area is definitely a vibe and drinks were good too. P.S. if you order a Paloma and you don't want Mescal, say "With Tequila" very loudly.

I was at The Rabbit Hole for the Clejan concert. I enjoyed myself so much. I did think 8 dollars was a bit much for a can of beer but whatever... staff was all very friendly and i loved how the outside was decorated. Lots of photo opportunities Great vibes.

Was looking for a spot in Nola that plays house music, saw this spot online. It wasn’t a house music night but the vibes were cool and my drink was hella strong! Indoor and outdoor. There was also good on sight that I didn’t get to try, but looked good! Just wasn’t feeling portable toilets. My only complaint. I will check it out again another night.

All the good reviews here are all true. Was in town for a week and stumbled in here multiple times. Such a vibe, and love the inside and outside areas. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore both physically and visually. Need more cool spots like this.

I love the music. There are great aesthetics with a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this club if you like to dance or chill outdoors.

I go to the Rabbit Hole often on Tuesday nights for Rebirth Brass Band. The VOID sound system is really good. It's sorta small inside, but the exterior courtyard you enter through is one of the biggest of any music venue in the city.

What a blast! The courtyard at The Rabbit Hole is absolutely fabulous, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a great time. The overall ambiance flows seamlessly, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy. The dance floor is where the real fun begins. The sound quality is top-notch, ensuring crystal-clear music that gets everyone grooving. Even if you're not typically a dancer, this place might just change your mind – give the dance floor a shot! Oh, and let's not forget the smoke machine – it adds that extra touch of excitement to the experience. In summary, The Rabbit Hole is a solid 10/10 for a fun night out with great music, atmosphere, and dancing opportunities!"

Update: Yeah, it happened again. Happy Mardi Gras! Honestly can't say much about this place. I've been 3 times I believe, and only after the box of wine parade, so my recollection of things is sketch at best. As I said this has been the end location for the box of wine crew after we walk during Mardi Gras, so props to them for hosting us. They break out the port o potties and have the outside bars and food stall going. They have a large courtyard with a stage and a nice garden that doesn't really seem to fit the location, but I'm all for it. Inside stage and bar are on the smaller side, but goes with their head splitting EDM bands. Staff and security are pleasant, and again very accommodating to a bunch of wine drunk Mardi Gras revellers.

Yelp
Had a great time watching one of my favorite bands on a Tuesday for my birthday . The bartender was great. Easy good time was had by everyone in our group. The food from the independent "stand" on the patio was delicious and not too pricey. They place is small, dark and just the right amount of fun!

Yelp
I've never been here, so sorry if I trample some etiquette or whatever, but this was my experience at the rabbit hole. I bought some presale tickets to a show here for $20. When I arrived, our IDs were checked and then we were let in. AFTER we were let in, two people let us know there was a 10 dollar cover. Whatever. I already paid for the show so am I really just gonna leave there? I ask to pay with card, and am told there's tax on it. Sure. I get it. Electronic payments are all catalogued so it makes sense there's tax. However, I see the itemized bill as it's being brought up. It says "$11 cover". There's a separate line for the tax under it, but I was definitely charged 11 for a cover PLUS tax after that. I ask the workers if there's a mistake, and they say it's the tax. I point out that the tax is below that, and then they say something along the lines of "you're acting like we want to rob you, I don't get any money out of this." The place to insert my card is then pulled away from me as I am removing my card from it to pay, and am told "You don't have to pay for it if you don't want". As I already paid, I point it out and I am offered a refund. At this point, I just want this to be over and I enter the courtyard, down $44 dollars for a show I thought would only be $20. As I enter, I hear them yell "douche" over and over at me. This sort of soured the night for me and we left soon after that. If you're a regular here then I'm sure you enjoy it, but it is not for new people and it is definitely not a welcoming environment. The food smelled good at least.

Yelp
Super fun night!! Went there for my birthday and had a great time. Awesome themed nights too!!

Yelp
My BFF and I were really looking forward to going clubbing in NOLA on a Friday night in November. Unfortunately, Rabbit did not hit the spot. First of all, the cover charge was $15/person. We had asked the gal who took our payment if the club was bumpin, and she assured us it was. I kid you not there was maybe 15 people, 5 of which were definitely on some illicit drugs. The DJ played weird edm, not at all "dancing" music. We were peaved to pay $30 for 5 minutes of poor music. We probably should have requested our cover to be refunded but you know how clubs are... I would not recommend going here if you're wanting to dance the night away to club hits.

Yelp
The Rabbit Hole was great! Went for a MOMS party and it was so much fun! Nice little spots to hangout in outside and two different stages inside. Hopefully MOMS picks this spot again for future parties!

Yelp
I've been hearing about the Rabbit Hole. I finally got a chance to check it out on Rebirth Tuesdays. I love brass bands!!! The inside is a little tight (limited seating). It was freezing cold. We went to chill on the patio until it was time for the show. The guy who ran the front door was nice to let me my friend and I chill until the show started (we were early). They don't serve food but there was a pop-.up going on outside. The backyard space was nice.....espy if they have an event outdoors. The bartenders or nice too. My drink was good.

Yelp
I want to start off with what was good about this place. I really enjoyed the venue itself. The outdoor patio had ample seating and was nicely decorated. I had no issues with how the place looked at all. This is the only reason the place gets 2 stars. The drinks were expensive. Around $12 for a shot of well vodka is overpriced in my book. But hey, not really my place to complain. The main issue I have with this place is the staff. We went for an event, paid for presale tickets days in advance, and were excited to go. After getting our IDs checked by the bouncer (who also looked at our tickets but never actually scanned them), we were greeted by two ladies who said there was a $10 cover. No biggie, we could still pay it. When they turned the IPad around to pay, it said the cover was $11, then all the taxes/fees were listed in the line below it. After the guy I was with pointed it out, one of the ladies claimed "that's for the taxes and fees"....even though there was already a separate line for it? It's not an issue for us, we really just wanted to clarify for her so she'd either 1) charge us the correct price of $10 for the cover OR 2) tell people the correct price of $11 instead obviously we were slightly annoyed because it just wasn't the correct price for the cover. as we went to tap our card to pay, she said "you guys don't need to pay if you don't want to", insinuating that we could just leave instead. however, she was saying that as the card was already being tapped. "well we just paid so," was our response. after that, she said she could refund it, making us feel as though we weren't welcome anymore. But hey, we paid for the tickets, we paid the cover +$1, we're gonna stay for a bit. We tried to just shrug it off, but what really stuck with us the rest of the night was that we both heard her call the guy I was with a douche to the lady she was working with, multiple times. We weren't rude during the entire interaction, and yet she felt it was necessary to insult him as we walked in. Disgusting behavior from somebody who is supposed to be greeting people for the event. That entire interaction stuck with us the whole night and completely ruined our vibe. Like I said, it wasn't that we didn't want to pay, it was just that we wanted to be told the correct price of the cover. If the cover is $11, say that! Don't say it is $10 then attempt to lie about it when we ask about it! Simple!

Yelp
Stubled upon this new music venue in Central City and it is a great one. Two stages, one inside and one outside, the drinks especially the batch cocktails were great. They have large sofas and seating areas and plenty of space outdoors in a vast yard to socialize in. I loved the venue and cant wait to go back.

Yelp
Great place! I went for the holiday market and purchased lots of goodies while enjoying live music and food from a pop up grill. Good vibes & drinks

Yelp
Venue is cool, but not worth a repeat visit. When i made my $12 speitz a double, the bartender charged me $24 for this one tiny spritz at the end of the night. Those who work in the service industry know this is insane. Considering the venue was pretty empty on a Friday night coupled with super expensive drinks- I wouldnt recommend.

Yelp
Happy to say the situation has been fixed now we can enjoy our time here again! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
The Rabbit Hole is such a fun club to go and experience a bunch of different types of music. From their weekly Rebirth Brass band event to open Dj nights, there's options for all music lovers. They also have throwback nights and all different types of EDM. The staff and owners are always so welcoming. I also love the variety in drinks from spirits, specialty cocktails, shots and non-alcoholic drinks. The vibes are always funky and fun when you stop by

Yelp
Wish I could give it no stars. It's an outside mainly venue, more for college kids or people under 23. Charges 15 per person at gate, then once inside to the small area they have inside and ac, they over charge for drinks horribly. 12 a shot.. in plastic shot cup . Just as you walk up it's exactly what you see. Just warning people who are over age and with any class - cute place though for kids

Yelp

Yelp
I love this space, the music is always great and the drinks are always really awesome. They definitely do a great job of curating the atmosphere, the bar staff always makes me feel welcome and willingly strike up a conversation with me. I love coming to The Rabbit Hole when I have a night of they make you feel like a friend.

Yelp
I'm from out of town and last night was my second time visiting this spot. The first time was amazing vibes and great music with the friendliest group of bartenders! Until yesterday night. Yesterday, after chilling with a group of friends and buying a few rounds of drinks we were swarmed by a disgruntled bartender named Macy and a group of security who by the way were grown men aggressively approaching my friends and kicking them out. Mind you we spent atleast almost 3 hours on the back patio chilling with everyone and conversing with no issue prior. When asking why my friends were getting kicked out the only answer we got was that "macey" did not want us there and since it's "private property" they have the right to kick them out solely cause she doesn't like them. This situation was uncalled for and very aggressive. As a visitor I felt unsafe and bewildered at the way the situation was handled and I was quite honestly disgusted.

Yelp
A true underground music club! So much fun

Miranda L.

Yelp
Saw Rebirth Brass Band play here- we had a killer time and the sound/lights were wonderful for a venue this size. Also really enjoyed hiding in the bamboo area on the back of the patio.
