Death & Co’s New Bar Is Hidden Upstairs at the Ramble - Eater Denver
"After six months slinging drinks for the RiNo masses in the Ramble’s lobby and a summer season serving rosé magnums atop its roof, the New York-based business on Thursday opens a third and last bar at the hotel. This time, it’s a 22-seat space with dark curtains and hushed tones, weekly changing cocktail and food menus, and a vibe that’s more sophisticated than the other two areas." - Josie Sexton
In my opinion, the Ramble is the best part of Central Park! The winding trails and heavily wooded areas transport you out of the city for an hour or two. Make sure to check out scenic spots like the Arch and the hilltop viewpoint for great views of the city.

The place offers a unique experience with its vibrant energy and diverse crowd. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the visit enjoyable. The layout is well-designed, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The overall vibe is lively, perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in something different. A few areas could use better maintenance, but it doesn’t detract much from the experience. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.

During the day enjoy alone or with your partner. Feels like a quick escape from the city which often isn't visible in the Ramble. It's easy to relax or get romantic in a hidden spot near the pond. The fact that this is all landscaped doesn't detract from the natural, somewhat wild appearance.
In the night, sunset to 1am a different wildlife usually appears weather permitting. If it's not your scene, stick to daylight hours.

Best outdoor cruising in NYC. It’s basically a free-to-enter bathhouse in the middle of Central Park. Remain aware of surroundings, carry a knife (legal size)- police patrol on foot but in large numbers, rather obvious when they arrive. For the love of god, pickup your trash and bottoms don’t forget to *coughs* clean out.

Very nice foresty area. First time seeing fireflies! But also saw a huge cluster of rats which was frightening

Visited the Central Park Furever Tree that has hundreds of photos of beloved pets that have passed away--so much love on one tree 🎄❤️

I went here after sunset and definitely did not enjoy myself. I failed to do my research about the lighting. It was SO dark it was impossible to see right in front of me. Unprepared. Did not anticipate the pitch black darkness. Couldn't see paths, or where to walk. A experience, indeed!
update finally gave it a second try with someone who claims to be a ramble guide and enjoyed myself some.
liza Great work as always! Kq

Nice for a stroll and to escape the crowds. Visited on Christmas and found it beautiful but really can't wait to go again on spring or summer.

Yelp
I finally did my first stroll through the Ramble on my last trip to New York City. What a beautiful scenic area this is. It is very peaceful and easy to get lost on the dense and winding paths that go through here. The Ramble is 36 acres of woodlands within Central Park that includes Bethesda Terrace, Belvedere Castle and the Lake. It is popular for exploring and birdwatching. There are benches to sit on and small bridges to walk over. It is amazing how walking through this area makes you completely forget about the busy city life around you.
After a packed first couple of days on my trip to Manhattan, I found walking through this area of Central Park to be very relaxing and beneficial for my mental health. Spend some time listening to the many species of birds that visit here while you are walking through the Ramble.

Yelp
The Ramble is a beautiful place. You could say it's meditative to wander through the different paths while getting "lost on the road less traveled." There are places to sit and view the water, easy hikes, small bridges to walk over, a tiny waterfall and so many beautiful views to choose from.
I come to The Ramble whenever I visit Central Park. I love spending time reflecting here while burning those calories. The rainy season seems to be over, so it's a great time to spend outdoors and enjoy the scenery.

Yelp
The Ramble is inside Central Park in NYC. it is a beautiful terrain and it leads to or is near the Belvedere Castle. So walking in The Ramble, you will see: bridges, lakes, waterfall, area for resting and etc. I have noticed that Ramble is less busy compared to the outer main path. It is a great place to walk around if you don't want to be with the big crowds or if you want some quiet time. There are many paths that takes you into and out of The Ramble from the main path.
The Ramble also has its own sign.
I was here April 2022.

Yelp
The Ramble used to have its own page. I've reviewed it before a long time ago. I'm certainly glad (thanks to Vincent) it's back in because it's a beautiful area where you can easily get lost!
I wandered all through the Ramble on May 7, 2021. Sometimes you come across people and other times you are isolated. I followed the sun going from the West to the East. I came across a lot of fallen trees. I saw a beautiful waterfall. I walked over stone bridges and wooden bridges. There's lots of benches along the way. There's lots of birds too! You can walk along the water or deeper in the woods.
I have a new appreciation for the Ramble. On a day like today I had a good time and a peaceful walk. There was a time I avoided it totally. I got lost one day and luckily found a couple romancing in the trees. They pointed me to the right path. There's a lot of circular paths that take you into a area and then back out again. You could go in circles for days if you're not careful!
I'm recommending you visit. It's a cool New York adventure!

Yelp
My favorite part of Central Park! The Ramble is very secluded, quiet, and peaceful. On a hot day this is the place to be as there's lots of shade and it's quite a bit cooler than a lot of the other parts of Central Park. I almost hesitate to recommend it because the best part of it is that it's never been crowded the times I've been. Like a little slice of forest within the city this is where to go if you want to forget that you're in NYC.
