On the Grid : The Ramen Butcher

"Who can hold the title for 'Best Ramen' in a city? The Ramen Butcher certainly fights hard for this record. The Tonkotsu classic is where you start and if you fancy new and interesting flavours then 'GREEN' (Fresh Basil Paste and Parmesan Cheese) or 'ORANGE' (Rich Miso Marinated Ground Pork) amongst others could be for you. An array of sides are also on the menu (karaage, gyoza etc). You be the judge." - Post Projects

We stumbled on this spot accidentally as we were heading to another location and it was worth it! We both ordered the Tsukemen with the 3 pcs gyoza on the side and everything was so flavourful and delicious. This restaurant makes their noodles from scratch which made it all the better. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. Truly a treat!

Google
First time to try the Ramen Butcher last weekend, and we definitely had a positive experience! We ordered the Tsukemen, Chashu Bun, and ofc, edamame for appetizers! They were all good! Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

Google
$13.50 for a bowl of ramen + free kaedama (extra noodles) is a great deal. Rich broth (Fukuokua style) was good. Chasiu: can taste the charred smoky bbq, is precooked (the extra pieces were cold) and somewhat tough for my liking, egg was done right. Disliked the coloured ginger. Food came quick, though kinda thoughtless when they served the extra noodles in a bowl that wasn’t placed on the tray properly.

Google
The food came out really quickly after ordering. Overall, it was okay—not the best ramen I’ve had. I liked the marinated egg, the chewy noodles, and the pork chashu. However, there was a noticeable smell that made the dish less enjoyable. I couldn’t tell if it was coming from the broth or the noodles.

Google
I had the black garlic ramen and my boyfriend had the tsukemen with karaage. My pork was very fatty but the meat part was delicious. The pork in the tsukemen was not as fatty but also excellent. The portions are big, we could barely finish even without the extra noodles. Both broths were nice and rich.

Google
I absolutely love this ramen spot! The combination of flavors they offer is spot on, and everything always comes out perfectly executed. I'm especially a fan of their thin noodles - they're just right. We've also been to their sister restaurant, Gojiro, in the heart of downtown. While Gojiro is solid, I actually find the flavor combinations here a bit more interesting. The broth is rich and flavorful, but not as greasy as Gojiro's, which I really appreciate.

Google
Obsessed at first bite! I was excited to try out this place as it has historical significance. And it did not dissappoint. The black garlic tonkatsu ramen I ordered had all the right elements that make a mouth-watering bowl of hearty ramen....nice toppings perched on top of your choice of regular or vegan noodles, bathed in a rich broth with just the right amount of umami black garlic 👌 Service, food, and ambiance was all top notch ✅. Can't wait to return for more!

Google
Came for the special Tokusen Tori Paitan ramen, made in collaboration with a Japanese ramen place. The broth was rich and delicious, it tasted like a roast chicken had been blended into broth (in a good way!). The thing that surprised me were the noodles; really nice and firm, and not thin either. I believe they were house made! The gyoza were very solid too! I'll be coming back to try one of their regular ramen!

Yelp
the restaurant was packed at 8:10 pm on a friday. i put my name on the list and was told the wait would be about 25 to 30 minutes. we were famished and happy to take whatever table opened up first. luckily, we were seated at the counter--the best seats in the house, imo. watching the kitchen staff meticulously arrange slices of pork on a bowl, torching them to perfection, and straining noodles through a sieve was mesmerizing. they all worked in unison, no hell's kitchen drama here. the room was full and buzzing with great energy, as diners were ready for the weekend. the servers were slammed, as it was day two of their ten year anniversary celebration. we started with an ice cold asahi and a ramune. so embarrassing, i totally fumbled opening the ramune, and the plunger shot into the air. the server, who had seen exactly where it landed, opened up a new bottle and gave me another plunger--lifesaver. our waters were also refilled without asking. we ordered karaage chicken to start, then both went for the black garlic ramen, their classic tonkotsu. not gonna lie, we're not the biggest ramen fans, but this was really good. the handmade noodles were thin, had a great chew, and were fun to slurp. the broth, infused with black garlic oil, was rich, smoky, and packed with umami. each bowl came with two slices of pork and half of a soft-boiled onsen egg. inspired by watching mukbang, i practically inhaled the noodles. we took full advantage of their kaedama (extra noodles), and like a little piglet, i ate way too much, too fast, and immediately regretted it. grateful for waistband pants.

Yelp
Their tonkotsu broth is very rich and creamy! I also love that they allow you to get a free refill of their plain noodles when you're done your bowl and have soup leftover. Some places now charge for that. For tsukemen lovers, they have that here too! The fiancé got it and he enjoyed it. He got quite full and initially he was going to have my extra serving of noodles but he ended up not being able to. Also ordered their chicken karaage as an appetizer and it was good. Not as hot as I thought it'd be but still yummy.

Yelp
Really good ramen! This was a fairly busy spot on a Friday, got there around 5:30 just before a rush of people came in. The service was friendly and efficient. Some of the tables were a bit close together so you had to navigate around a little bit. We got karage and gyoza to start which were very tasty. I got the basil ramen which was delicious, never had ramen with basil and Parmesan but it worked really well! Really good portions for everything as well.

Yelp
Nice spot for ramen in Chinatown. Service was quite prompt. I ordered the black garlic ramen and it was tasty! My boyfriend got the tsukemen and it was pretty good too. The kids meal is really worth it if you have a child there! Only annoying point were the flies inside the restaurant...

Yelp
THE RAMEN BUTCHER - Hakata Style Tonkotsu Ramen Shop in Canada ADDRESS : 223 E Georgia St, Vancouver, BC, V6A 1Z6 TEL : 604-806-4646 OPEN HOURS : 11am - 10pm Every day *Last call is 30 min before closing time INFORMATION : We do not accept reservations. https://theramenbutcher.com/contact.html If you like ramen, this is the place! E. Georgia is abit gentrified... a few cafe & modern eats. This ramen place is legit & offers a wide selection of different kind of ramen & soup broth I ordered the Classic Ramen- I loved the broth, it is creamy & tasty, spot on! Not too salty either. It is served with the thin kind of ramen, loved the texture of the ramen, you can also order one time free extra noodles if it is not enough for you, just make sure you save some broth. My hubby had the Yokohama lekei ramen ( thick ramen), I got to taste his broth but preferred my classic ramen broth. The Chashu was good with a bit of fat & mostly meat. Not the tender kind that melts in your mouth, very tasty with a great flavour. Decor is simple & clean, there's option of regular tables with chairs or bar table with bar stools. There's pictures with one Japanese word that describes the meaning of that phrase... eat & learn simple Japanese... Service was good & pretty fast, we came after lunch hour at about 2pm. Ample seats available plus paid street parking, can be limited at peak hours. We went on a Friday afternoon. All in all a yummy experience. Check it out if you are in Chinatown area.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times over the years going back to 2017. Quality overall can be a little variable. I've had times where the food is amazing and other when its been a bit sub par. The tonkotsu ramen is consistently good. Carefull if you choose to go spicy as the third spice level is SPICY. Last time I was here I had the spicy Tsukemen with pork chasu. It was good but nothing mindblowing. Will be sticking to the ramen in the future. The location is cozy in the middle of chinatown and its often pretty busy. Can expect a bit of a wait for service sometimes yet a good experience overall

Yelp
Yokohama ramen was quite tasty and filling! Would go back again but try eating on the patio. It was quite loud inside with the music and acoustics. People sitting next to us sounded way louder than they probably were. Kids enjoyed their chicken karage and rice. My friend said her Classic Ramen was good (and she finished everything).
google avatar

Steven L.

Yelp
Came for the tsukemen, which was my first time trying. Portion sizes where larger that I was used to getting from a ramen place, which was pleasantly surprising. Some of the ramen on the menu notes that you can ask for additional noodles at charge, which was quite nice to see -- it was not offered on the tsukemen, however. I would come again in the future!
google avatar

Lee M.

Yelp
The black garlic ramen here is the richest in town in my opinion. The noodles were good, the chasu was fatty and the broth was rich! I opted out the ginger since last time it gave me a contradicting effect with the richness The service was so- so and the place had a nice ambience to it .Parking is horrible of course but if you like your ramen rich, it's worth the wait. Try the black garlic , oh and it's free refill for noodles (one time)
google avatar

Neha A.

Yelp
We came on a Friday night and the wait wasn't too bad! The service was a little slow. Chicken karaage was really good. Juicy interior and flavorful exterior. The truffle gyoza has some good reviews but I honestly thought it was overkill. The cheese was definitely too much, and the truffle flavor with the gyoza wasn't so impressive. The red ramen was good. We liked how thin and perfectly cooked the noodles were. I wish the chashu was more thinly sliced, and that the broth was a little less creamy.
google avatar

Ceci L.

Yelp
One of my fave ramen spots in Vancouver! Vibe is chill and service is quick. I usually order these 3 items: Truffle gyoza: gyozas are made in house and the gyoza wrapper is thin and chewy. There's a hint of truffle oil and I like the cheese and creamy sauce, but it can be heavy. Black garlic ramen: very garlicky, but not overwhelming. This dish also comes with extra thin noodles, free of charge. Yokohama lekei ramen: my go to when I want something comforting. The broth is heavy and flavourful. The egg is perfectly cooked and the crunchiness of the bamboo shoots pairs well with this. This bowl comes with thick chewy noodles. I always add extra thick noodles for $1.95.

Yelp
This was my second time having the ramen butcher and it was just as delicious as I remembered it to be the first time around. I got the Spicy Sesame Tantan Tsukemen and my friends ordered the Red Spicy Ramen. We all enjoyed our noodles which were quickly served to us. A solid ramen spot to add to your list!
google avatar

Jodi G.

Yelp
My search for comfort food landed me at The Ramen Butcher. I enjoyed the spicy karaage tsukemen with added kikurage mushrooms. The broth was very rich and had chunks of pork. It was like getting the best of both worlds - karaage and chashu! The karaage was very crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and seasoned well. The thick and chewy noodles carried the thick broth well. Overall, the dish was not very spicy. I suggest trying The Ramen Butcher for yourself if you are looking for ramen in Vancouver!

Yelp
I wanted to like this place, on a Monday evening it was one of few places open in Chinatown. The menu looks pretty, and I ordered the Yokohama. They said it was full of flavour. I would say it's... just ok. The flavour was... it was salty but not too distinct otherwise. The meat was not bad but nothing as good as it looks on the picture. Egg... again just OK. It's a bit too blah overall to me for me to give this a 4 star. Perhaps I like thin noodles better, or the noodles were just too meh for me. Pass.

Yelp
Great place, delicious food and fast service Ramen is fresh and reasonably priced Worth stopping by if craving Ramen in Vancouver

Yelp
Went on a weekday just before noon, and it wasn't busy yet. Nice clean shop, fun decor, good service. We had the Teppan Fried Rice to start. Fun and yummy! It would probably be better if the pro made it, but it was still good. We had the Yokohama and the classic. Both were delicious, but the Yokohama Iekei was outstanding. Really deep broth, generous slices of Chashu, nice soft aji-tama. We will return to try the other varieties.

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Great vegan and non vegan options for ramen! They had a whole vegan section of their menu, we tried the gyoza and the spicy ramen. We loved both and will be back for sure! Our non vegan friends enjoyed their meals as well. The service was fast and they had good portion sizes. I'll be back the next time I'm in town!

Yelp
The Veggie gyoza were damn delicious! Edamame were cooked perfectly aswell. The veggie Tan tan spicy noodles were quite good. But I wanted more flavour and texture in the dish. Im excited to try the veggie ramen in the chestnut broth next time. Really happy that their veggie options had good amount of variety. Service was also fast and friendly :)
google avatar

Yelp
Came in on a friday and it was busy but they have a lot of seating so didn't have to wait at all. Servers were attentive and friendly, and the interior was a bit dark but not mad about it. My first time here and I wanted to try their tsukemen and honestly loved it, the soup was not too salty and the noodles had an amazing bounce, they also gave a bit of this yuzu salt paste on the side to change up the flavours a little bit. The coconut curry ramen soup was good but the toppings lacked, even tsukemen had more bamboo shoots than it. Definitely will come back for the tsukemen!
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
I returned after I discovered that they added two more vegan options to supplement their standard vegetarian ramen: a vegetarian spicy chestnut miso ramen and a tan tan tsukemen ($18.95 each). I got the former, which came out within about 10 minutes of ordering. The base seemed like it was soymilk, with some nice spices, and a really great chili oil/paste that amped things up and provided complexity. Toppings-wise, there was seaweed, kikurage, menma, and corn. It could have used a protein of some sort (e.g., tofu) and, preferably for my tastes, a green leafy veg instead of the seaweed, but those are minor complaints. Overall, very friendly service, comfortable environment. Great ramen spot in Chinatown that is even more vegan-friendly now.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
We were given quick seating as a group of 6 and food came out pretty quick. We all had the black garlic ramen which I found was good but not amazing. They do give a round of free extra thin noodles which is nice.
google avatar

Tie K.

Yelp
This place is very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavours in the coconut curry ramen; it's very spicy, though! My friend enjoyed the classic ramen. The place was very clean, and the staff was attentive. I would probably pass on the gyoza next time. Parking is hard to find, but if you're already in the area, I would choose to eat here.
google avatar

Jen M.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the spicy ramen here and the ability to have extra noodles with the broth is a big plus... as well as the side combo (i got the pork with rice)! I definitely came in hungry and over ordered but the leftovers were delicious. Seems that each ramen has different amounts and sizes of noodles. Not sure if you can specify or not but mine were thin and ample in quantity. Probably why I got so full so fast but not complaining. :)
google avatar

Gabby A.

Yelp
Yum! Actually delicious ramen and some great side offers. Parking is along the street. They have some good chicken karage here as well!
google avatar

Priya C.

Yelp
Located in Chinatown with street parking outside. The Ramen Butcher has plenty of seating options inside and an interesting logo. The first refill of kaedama (noodles) is free is one of the highlights, but the ramen itself didn't meet our expectations. For vegetarians, there are 2 options. The vegetarian ramen looked like it was a clear broth from the pics so the husband went with spicy miso chestnut ramen. Nothing noteworthy in this one. I tried the spicy ramen with naruto topping. What I liked is that it has plenty of toppings. Noodles were good. But the broth had too many garlic pieces which ruined the experience. The vegan gyoza had arrived slightly overcooked/burnt. Staff was friendly.
google avatar

Gihani D.

Yelp
Got the black garlic ramen and it was great. Highly recommend! Also getting the spicy garlic paste on the side was perfect since we could share it. The free extra ball of noodles was perfect for my super hungry husband. We also got the daikon salad which was surprisingly delicious, we almost ordered another one. We did need to wait about 15 min before getting seated, there isn't a ton of space here. I was also surprised by their vegan offerings. They seemed to have a multitude of options which looked good on the picture menu. We didn't order any but I was impressed since typically ramen is so meat focused.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
Good option if you're in Chinatown. I came here one weekday evening with a couple of friends - needless to say, it was packed. The restaurant could definitely use a little more room in terms of chair spacing, I felt like I was hovering over people's tables when making my way to and back from the washroom. I thought overall the dishes were just ok. My friend mentioned it tasted a lot better the previous time she stopped by which led me to think the broth/noodle textures are inconsistent. Our order: - Black Garlic Ramen - Orange Miso Ramen - Chicken Karaage I would return to try out the spicy chestnut miso ramen, my friend mentioned it was her go to!
google avatar

Kay F.

Yelp
One of my favourite places for ramen in Chinatown. They did have a summer menu which had some cold ramens which was exactly what I was looking for. I got the cold yuzu shio matcha ramen and it was light and perfect for a summer night. R got the spicy tsukemen ramen and said that the soup was very flavourful and would recommend! Would be back next time I am in the Chinatown area!
google avatar

Ann W.

Yelp
This little place is one of the few hidden ramen joints in Chinatown. We arrived on a weekend late afternoon to no wait and was immediately seated at the bar. Their menu is not large, but they do have a great selection of classic ramen, tssukkemen ramen, and vegan ramen. They also offer alcoholic drinks, appetizers, and small rice bowls. We ordered the classic ramens + egg, truffle gyozas, and okonomi gyozas. The classic ramens were quite satisfying; the broth was flavourful but not too salty or greasy, and the portion of the chashu is reasonable though I found some parts a bit tough. The egg though marinated wasn't too flavourful, but it was runny in the centre - just how I like it! I personally prefer thick noodles compared to thin so I found the thin noodles a bit soft as they soaked up the soup and tangled after a while. My bf really enjoyed the truffle gyozas which had a strong truffle oil flavour, which paired perfectly with the melted cheese topping. The okonomi gyozas were saltier than expected because of the sauce. It was creative though I would've preferred a crunchier exterior. Overall, this is a nice ramen option if you are in the area. It's nothing spectacular, but they do a decent job and have a good selection.
google avatar

Ernie T.

Yelp
Dinner here because they open late around 8pm at the time and my family can't hold the hunger anymore. I was surprised they have dipping ramen which is my favorite Japanese ramen style while I'm not really into ordinary ramen. Turns out the flavors didn't let me down. Also, their son combinations are worthy for more options. Good place.
google avatar

Edward T.

Yelp
I enjoyed my bowl of Yokohama lekei ramen . Broth was tasty and a good portion . I wish I'd known the had 1st refill of Kaedama thin noodles free. The servers were very attentive to our needs and checked in on us frequently . I am a fan . This is a great ramen place to come if you are in Vancouver . The ambience inside is simple but warm.
google avatar

Vinita T.

Yelp
Haven't been to @theramenbutcher since they first opened but I was pleasantly surprised with how much they've improved since then. Definitely one of the better tsukemens I've had in town

Yelp
The best ramen in Chinatown. I've heard mixed reviews about The Ramen Butcher over the years, however today, after hearing about some praise from a friend who's been a recent customer, that friend and I decided to go there for a late lunch, around 3:00pm. Since it was my first visit, I tried to have no expectations walking in, and my, oh my, was I pleasantly surprised. Perhaps it helped the restaurant that I had just come in for my first meal of the day, following a two-hour gym sessions which probably made me extra hungry and more willing to look past imperfections and errors in food quality and presentation, but I think I had a good time needless to say. Since we came at an odd time, my friend and I were the only two customers in the shop, with a few single diners here and there over the course of an hour. I can imagine that if we had come in at lunch time proper or dinner time proper that we wouldn't have been seated so quickly. Here are some important takeaways from me: 1) Location - This is the only ramen shop in Chinatown (to my knowledge). That being said, just because this is the only ramen shop in Chinatown doesn't mean you shouldn't think you're settling for less if you decide to pop in for a meal. If going into Chinatown is the difference between saving you another 20 minutes of driving downtown (not including the whole parking ordeal) and getting you your next ramen fix ASAP, The Ramen Butcher will do the job. There is a decent amount of street parking available in the area, just make sure you don't leave valuables in your car, for obvious reasons. 2) Free kaedama - Yeah, you heard me. First kaedama free. AKA noodle refill at no charge. Of course I had to order one, and yes, it was actually delicious. Probably more so than if it wasn't free. Nonetheless, if you are a hungry, growing boy like me, this is a deal you shouldn't pass up while it lasts! 3) Excellent service - The staff were welcoming and extremely nice. The food came in hot and within a reasonable time and the server made sure we had everything we needed. 4) Food - For exactly $25.00 after tips, I got absolutely stuffed off of a bowl of delicious Black Garlic Ramen (and kaedama) and a Mini Cha-tama Don. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but, as we all know, ramen is subjective, and everyone likes different things. I think that I would liked it more if the Mini Cha-tama Don had more seasoning, but the portion size was spot-on. The Black Garlic Ramen didn't have enough garlic in the garlic oil for me. It's a personal preference, but I would've liked to have more of that pungent garlic flavour in the soup. Everything else was excellent and the toppings were generous. I look forward to coming back to The Ramen Butcher and trying their other menu items. All in all, a great spot to get ramen!

Yelp
A great ramen option in the heart of Chinatown with a ton of soupy noodle options on the menu as well as Tsukemen! For the Tsukemen, you get an option of cold or hot noodles, making it a perfect option year round. Both the Spicy Tsukemen and original Tsukemen were very flavorful and tasty, and the broth was super warming for the soul. However, if you're a spice lover, then this isn't the place for you. The Spicy Tsukemen was not spicy at all and you aren't able to choose the level of spice that you want. Aside from that, the Cha Siu was super tender and had a nice lean to fat ratio that I don't often see at ramen places. The noodles had the perfect bite to it as well so I thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wished that the broth and noodles were warmer because it was served cold despite asking for hot noodles. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. The Ramen Butcher is definitely a suitable option if you're craving ramen in the Chinatown area.

Yelp
This was my second visit to The Ramen Butcher. I like their variety of kitchen offerings. Unlike other ramen restaurants that I have tried, The Ramen Butcher gives their patrons numerous choices of hot, steamy and delicious bowls of ramen that aren't just based on one or two basic broths that are made "different" by just the addition of different toppings. From light clear broths to rich and fatty ones plus choices in between, there's one to meet your craving. They also do not have just one standard noodle. Thick, thin, tsukumen, dependent on your choice of bowls. Special note: FREE extra ramen noodles upon request, so remember to leave some broth for your second helping. My bad, we finished with a coffee jelly cream dessert before getting to take a pic. That's just how good it was. So simple but satisfying and a great sweet treat after a good meal. Nice casual, clean & comfortable place to dine. Not a big place and limited seating due to the pandemic so I can imagine it gets filled up fast. Luckily, we opted for a less busy and weekday hour. Staff were super polite and attentive. Happy to return & recommend.

Yelp
Great place for a quick and delicious meal. I had the black garlic ramen and it was super flavourful. The broth was perfectly creamy and the noodles were the right thinness and consistency. We also got the chicken karaage with wasabi mayo, which was really good as well. The pieces of chicken were big and portion was generous. The gyoza was just alright- probably wouldn't get it again. But otherwise, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I feel like the people who rated this 5 star don't eat ramen often. I'm the kind of person that locates the nearest ramen house in a new area and hits it ASAP! With that being said this ramen was a let down.
google avatar

Allison K.

Yelp
If you like Ramen (who doesn't??) then trying The Ramen Butcher is a must! We got there right at opening on a Saturday morning so there was no line up and we were seated immediately. I ordered the Coconut Curry Ramen. I LOVE spicy. It was perfectly seasoned and had a nice spice level. On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the highest) I can handle a 8/9 spice level. I will rate the coconut curry Ramen at about a 6/7 spice level. I will definitely order this one again. Competitively priced. Street parking available. Hit and miss to find a spot, very typical of Chinatown.
google avatar

Aaron W.

Yelp
I order here a lot in the past year. However, in the past few visits, the food quality has gotten worse. The vegan ramen which I usually order was tasty before, but the last order from last week, the ramen tasted bland. Also the vegan gyoza was too soft and no taste at all. Secondly, the food portion has gotten smaller and price has gotten more expensive. For a vegan ramen and gyoza, the damage came to $24. Way too overpriced. Third, the level of service has gone down. Would I order from here again. Most likely not!

Yelp
Really glad we got to try this place out! Ambiance was very cute and cozy. We sat outside on their "patio" setup and it was lovely being able to eat delicious ramen while enjoying a nice breeze. We shared the okonomi gyoza which were okay. I don't know if we'd get it again. I think the bonito flakes were way too over powering and gyoza itself was a bit bland. We each got the black garlic ramen and it was very good. It was full of flavour and not just the saltyness you get from other ramen places. It was rich in pork flavour and black garlic. There were pieces of dehydrated ginger (I think) which were nice as it broke the fattyness of broth so it wasn't too overwhelming and the eggs were cooked perfectly! Can't wait to come back and maybe try something new on the menu!

Yelp
This restaurant goes above & beyond with ramen offerings, more than just the basics. *Spicy sesame tantan tsukemen: I believe this is a summer-only cold ramen . However you can ask for the noodles to be served warm which we did. The dipping broth is exactly the spicy sesame pork awesomeness as advertised, I would even say for those with a weaker spice tolerance to be careful with this one. *Black garlic ramen: This is one of my very favourite ramen flavours and I'm familiar with Sansotei which is an Eastern Canadian chain that's good with black garlic. Here at Ramen Butcher, I was not let down. The black garlic aroma is smoky, deep, and still the ramen had a lightweight way of being rich without being too extra. One of the best ramen bowls I've ever had. This is some intense, solid, serious ramen that Ramen Butcher serves up. Can't wait to come back here one day!

Yelp
This place is in Chinatown , in a upcoming area We got seated very quickly. The place is upbeat and has a good atmosphere We order The Orange miso ramen - it was very good ! Flavour was there. But in my opinion, the broth is too thick for my liking. And not enough broth to start with. Yokohama Iekei ramen - soy sauce base ramen A bit too salty, and thicker broth as well. Spicy gyoza - The gyoza it's self, is really good. The spicy paste is REALLY salty. No heat. Curry don - was okay. But not hot Staff are very friendly and always alert. But for the food wise... too salty. I would come again if my vegetarian friends wanted ramen. But I'll be ordering gyozas

Yelp
Came here at around 3pm and it was quite vacant. The atmosphere was good and service was great. I got the black garlic ramen which smelled amazing as it arrived. The taste was a bit too salty for my liking but overall it was pretty good. The portion size was great and it even came with a free serving of kaedama (more noodles). Absolutely worth coming back a 2nd time.

Yelp
My 3 year old loves ramen and absolutely loved that they had a kids meal. the black garlic ramen was stellar with nice hints of ginger here and there. the curry don was also a nice side dish my wife got the vegetarian and it was really plain. But everything else was so good that I'm giving it 5 stars.

Yelp
I had been to this place a few times. This time want to try something different, I ordered a lekei ramen, the noodle is hard and the soup taste awful.

Yelp
This ramen joint is quick, cheap and really tasty. Their portions are generous and also comes with a free ramen refill (kaedama). This was my first time coming and I was not disappointed at all. I highly suggest this Ramen joint!

Yelp
The ramen shop is located in Chinatown. I got the black garlic ramen and it was SO FLAVORFUL. I love how they have free kaedama where you can get one free noodle refill. I personally did not need it since the original portion was plenty but if you eat a lot this will be the best bang for your buck. I also tried the okonomiyaki gyoza which was delicious.

Yelp
It's been months since I last had a bowl of ramen here, and my recent visit reminded me how much I like their ramen. My go to bowl is the chicken ramen. It's a very comforting bowl of ramen and was perfect for me since I was still getting over a cold. This time, I made my meal a combo with the daikon salad. It's a decent portion with a nice dressing and some crunchy bits on top for texture. The ramen came soon after. The broth was as good as I remembered it to be. The egg was cooked just right and the chicken meatballs were tasty. I remember from previous visits, I sometimes found the chicken to be salty, but this time it was just right. The noodles have just enough chew. Overall, the service and food was good. You don't have to wait long for your bowl of ramen to come out.

Yelp
What led us to try this place is the amazingly long wait times of one popular place across the street--up to 45 minutes at 3:30p. Crazy. We did have to wait about 5-10 mins here but it's worth it. The turn over is fast. Service, friendly and amazing. The place is clean. Food is good--depending on what you order. The Black Garlic Ramen and the Spicy Ramen broth are creamy and gooooood. And the texture of ramen is firm and chewy. Lean or fatty pork, either way, we enjoyed the Ramen. But the Mini Karaage Don is a skip. And the Chicken Ramen is on the salty side. The reg Gyoza is a hit for the little guy. And if the regular Ramen bowl isn't enough, ask for a free Ramen refill.
