"Delray Beach, some fifty miles up the coast from Miami, has been up-and-coming for a while, and with the arrival of a boutique hotel from Hilton’s Curio Collection, it just might have officially arrived. The Ray was designed by Virserius Studio in a Tropical Modernist style that’s freed from the Art Deco demands of its southern neighbors; here the rooms and suites are crisp and contemporary with relaxed, eclectic accents." - Mark Fedeli

"The Ray Hotel, a recent addition to Delray, opened in 2021 and presents a modern alternative befitting the Pineapple Grove Arts District with living walls, sculptures, and a chic rooftop pool. It's further inland, about a mile from the beach, but ideal for those who like details such as chilled towels at the gym and swanky hotel dining. The crown jewel of the dining options, Akira Back allures with a Japanese and Korean-inspired menu by the eponymous chef who was born in Seoul."

Those seeking more contemporary accommodations will find The Ray to their liking. This new hotel in downtown Delray is about a mile from the ocean, but is steps from dining, shopping, and art galleries. It features both a Japanese & Italian restaurant, as well as a rooftop pool.

We just concluded our fourth annual stay at the Ray. My wife and I absolutely love this hotel. Location is perfect for Delray Beach, and The Facilty, including the lobby, the pool, the fitness center, and the restaurants are excellent. The hotel just gives off a very nice vibe.||Special shout out to a number of the employees, including Tom,Alana, Tiffany and others at the front desk. Peter and the valet team are excellent. Chandler has been one of our favorites for years. Also, Leo was extremely helpful with transportation to and from the beach. We will be back again next year. ||Just a great experience!

We have been vacationing in Delray and staying at The Ray for the past few years but this was our first time being there for the Christmas holiday. We were warmly greeted and “welcomed home” by Gwendolyn and Gabby. They worked the weekend night shift and each night they made sure to check in with us and see if there was anything we needed. They are Rockstars dealing with the busy night life! Gwendolyn has been a Hilton employee for many years and she is a wealth of knowledge! During the day the front desk manager Tom and his co-worker Anna were the best! They were extremely busy but always made sure to say hello and ask how we were doing. Tom and his staff are the face of the hotel and it’s the suburb customer service that he and his staff provide make our stay so enjoyable. The Ray has a quick service shop called Stingers. We had delicious egg sandwiches, omelettes, coffee and açaí bowls for breakfast during our stay. They are now offering room service for breakfast which was a nice treat to sit and enjoy breakfast on our balcony! |As Hilton Honors members we have several locations to chose from while staying in the Delray Beach area but it’s the hotel’s location, amenities, and friendly staff that we have come to know and become friends with that bring us back to The Ray each year. We always enjoy our travels with Leo, the Moke driver. He drives us safely to and from the beach and we always learn something new and have great conversations with him. We cannot forget to mention Peter the bell hop who has been there each of our stays to greet us with a smile and takes care of our luggage. We were in and out a few times during our stay and Peter made sure to assist us with whatever we needed! |If you’re going to be vacationing in the area and would like a clean, comfortable room, with friendly and accommodating staff, The Ray is place to stay! 5 stars plus :)

We recently used this location to host a company holiday party for 100+ people and it was great! We rented out both the cube and the private rooftop area, which was more than enough room to accommodate our larger group. The food was excellent and the staff was great. The location is nice and the ground of the hotel are very nice and well kept. I would recommend using their event services for any type of gathering.

Gorgeous design and concept, but management needs improvement. During my holiday stay, only one of two elevators was working. Guests who realized this began using the stairs, despite a warning sign against entering the stairwell. Management could have easily posted a sign at the elevators explaining the situation and directing guests to the stairs, but they didn’t. The front desk also failed to mention the broken elevator or provide guidance at check-in. Noise was another issue. My original fourth-floor room was directly below the rooftop club, and the loud music continued until 11 PM. While the front desk staff graciously moved me to a lower floor upon request, I imagine other fourth-floor guests were similarly affected. Housekeeping was slow, too. On the day I switched rooms, my new room wasn’t ready until 4:30 PM. The next day, housekeeping didn’t clean my room until around 5 PM. Overall, The Ray is a stylish addition to Pineapple Grove with great restaurants, but the hotel’s management leaves much to be desired. I’d return for dining, but I’m hesitant to stay here again.

I recently stayed at The Ray for 5 nights with my husband and our 4 year old son. We were immediately impressed by the location, beachy vibe, cleanliness, and ease of check in. The pool was fantastic - delicious food, drinks, and chill house music playing in the background. There weren't many kids, but we didn't feel uncomfortable being there with our (well behaved) son.||My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are because the elevators, which were fickle and a bit janky (although seemingly new), and VERY minimal storage space in the room (deluxe 2 queen with balcony). This would most likely be fine for a couple staying a few days, but was challanging for a longer stay with a 4 year old. ||I'd like to give a shoutout and a huge THANK YOU to Peter who went above and beyond in assisting with our luggage, shopping bags, and even brought us a cooler from his house to store the food and drinks we bought at the grocery store. It was super kind of him and we'll always remember that!

Google
The Ray Hotels, GM Tom is an absolute rockstar. He is truly incredible at his job and our trip was perfect because of him. The hotels location and amenities are top notch. The pool staff is personable, professional and customer focused. Beach buggy to the beach, so cool! I can't wait to visit with my family again.

Google
This used to be my favorite hotel in Delray because of the modern feel of the rooms and the location. However, the service has since changed, and the property seems to be going downhill. The past two times I stayed, the fire alarms went off before 9 am, and we were required to evacuate, and the rooms were only being serviced if you asked each day. To be fair- the staff is pretty friendly and trying their best. The valet team was also very friendly. I would highly recommend choosing a different property in Delray.

Google
Hotel was great! Fantastic location and staff was exceptional. The guys in valet Peter, Glen and Chai were always there to grab our bags and open doors great service! Rooms were very clean perfect amenities and boutique hotel experience. Great Italian restaurant on site.

Yelp
We stayed at The Ray, in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. The hotel is located in the Pineapple Grove Arts district and a mile from the ocean. It was a very interesting space with modern ambience, yet featuring living walls and immersive art. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, with Frette linens, and -- get this -- Byredo products in Mojave Ghost, my favorite fragrance. I mean Mojave Ghost hand soap, shower gel, lotion. No one, I mean no one, understands my joy. Who else can I tell that would understand? I was bathing in this stuff. Sadly, they did not have travel size toiletries because my suitcase would have been full. To the brim. Anyways, it was strange to have a window in the bathroom looking into the bedroom (or is it a window in the bedroom looking into the bathroom?). There was a small balcony looking out to the LAWN where they had workout sessions and yoga. There is a beautiful rooftop lounge/ restaurant. This is a great location among all the lively restaurants and bars and a short distance to the beach. It's also a short walk to the Delray Beach Tennis Center where they host the Delray Beach Open in February.

Yelp
Really just a truly GREAT hotel to stay in personally, or for a work trip with a conference meeting. Rooms are clean, upscale (reasonable) and beds you can actually sleep on! Full bar amenities and nice room service. Conference rooms are perfect, convenient and lunch / breakfast accommodations can be served at the roof top or in your meeting room. Great spreads, would LOVE to come back for fun and sit at the roof top bar all day!

Arthur G.

Yelp
Our nephews came to Boca and Delray to spend some time with the family. Which is always great. Both boys ( no, they are men) stayed at the Ray, and we had lunch over the weekend at their Rooftop restaurant. Whether you dine under the umbrellas " outside" or inside it's terrific! Drinks were good, food was very good and our waitress was the best. Shane Shane on me , as I don't remember her name. All in all a perfect setting for a dip in the pool, or drinking and dining at this very hot spot in Delray.

Pamela S.

Yelp
I was given a room with no AC and it's almost 80 degrees. And then the front desk resolved everything and the room is lovely with great AC.

Yelp
Awesome stay at The Ray Delray! We were there on a staycation with friends celebrating my Birthday. The service was amazing right from the start. Peter the Bell Captain welcomed us as we pulled up in the car and graciously unloaded a car packed with gift bags and other party gear. The vibe of The Ray is very trendy and fun. The rooms are very modern and clean and the beds are comfy. The Rosewater is a fun place to gather and the bar servers are fun and friendly and make awesome cocktails too. Now the pool, get there early, it's the place to be! The pool is shallow, which is perfect for cooling off while enjoying a poolside cocktail. Also, I have to mention the friendly staff, Gwen and Amanda went out of their way to provide top notch service, as did the manager, Tom. Tom even gave his personal cell phone number to us to help my friends plan their stay arrangements. Myself and my party guests all agree, it was an awesome stay and we'll be back again!

Joe C.

Yelp
Mediocre service, front desk person who's not willing to do anything for the guests. Asking her for help, she immediately declines because of the policy but she's sitting down with no attention. $550 per night and 3 star service at best.

Amanda L.

Yelp
We love the Ray Hotel! We did a little staycation to check out the new hotel, plus being bonvoy members we were able to accumulate more points with this trip; so it was a double win. We booked their largest room available and I have to say we had a great time there. With chic RH decor and large golden dog statues, I'd say this hotel has a youthful appeal. Very Miami meets Delray, especially when you head to their rooftop restaurant and lounge. But what keeps us coming back for more is their seafood. Ugh can their claims get any better? I highly recommend The Ray to those who have never been. This will quickly become your favorite hangout spot. Logistic suggestions Come early if you aren't booking a room to enjoy the rooftop. Gets very crowded quickly. Trust me good things get around fast. Parking, we always use valet, for those who don't feel the need there are parking garages walking distance to the hotel.

Jess M.

Yelp
Second time here & both were great! Gwen and Amanda at the front desk are so helpful and kind. Golf carts to the beach and beach chairs are a great bonus.. cart drivers are friendly and attentive. And I can't say enough great things about Josh at the pool.. he even showed my daughter and I how he made the towel swans. We sat in the lobby a few times playing the cool connect 4 game they had and some of our own.. a few more cool games like that would be cool, but then we may never leave walking distance to some great places also. Our entire stay was perfect! Can't wait to be back!

J B.

Yelp
There's a DJ on the top floor playing extremely loud, bass thumping music that makes it impossible to sleep. Staff indicated it would be over "hopefully" by midnight. The bass pumping can be heard and felt in the entire 4th floor halls as well, and the elevator. Worst experience ever.

Iris M.

Yelp
Can here once to do brunch with a friend and decided then and there I wanted to come back for a staycation! First off, the location is perfect. It's close enough for a light walk to the Main Street but far enough where you don't have to worry about the constant crowd outside of your building. This was a bonus for us since we live downtown and wanted to get away from the instant city life for our mini staycation. The building has lots of eateries and a coffee shop so you really don't have to leave. They really thought this one out for the. Plus the foot at their rooftop location is on point! I couldn't decide which was a better hang out. The patio or their infinity pool. We came during a weekday staycation and the bungalows were all claimed so if you're wanting to lounge under the umbrella, go early!

Fran V.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. We went to the rooftop, Rosewater. Nice pool. We went indoors for drinks and food since it was way too hot outdoors. Ordered wine and various other drinks. Guacamole and Hummus tray for the table. Yummy. I ordered the mahi sandwich with arugula on the side. I like salt but the salad was way too salty. Someone has a heavy hand with NaCl. Lighten it up. Giving 5 stars but really it's a 4.75.

Robert F.

Yelp
Clearly there are better choices for the money. The hotel requires you to use valet parking. We had an issue with our vehicle and the hotel wouldn't accept any responsibility or even help us out. They tell us the parking valet is a third party vendor and I have to deal exclusively with them. When I said I didn't choose this vendor they told me it was in the fine print when I made a reservation. I made the reservation on the phone via American Express. There was no fine print. In addition the hotel is very slow at making rooms up. Twice we left the room at 10:00 am and told them the room was available for cleanup and at 3:00 pm it wasn't done. I have asked to speak with a hotel manager there is never one on duty. I have never been to a "luxury hotel" where nobody cares about the customer.

Nicole C.

Yelp
This hotel is so modern. I absolutely loved the way I felt just walking into the lobby. I honestly just went there to check out the rooftop bar. I had to step back outside to get on an elevator to go to the rooftop bar. What a great vibe. There were a bunch of florists and employees of an event planning company because they were getting ready for a wedding. The rooftop was closing for that wedding at 5 PM. I only had enough time for one drink. I ordered the Coo Coo for Coconuts drink. It was very refreshing. It appeared they were rearranging the furniture for the wedding so I couldn't take any pics. I could barely get out because so much furniture was in the way. I had to finagle my way out of there. I definitely want to come back. I was looking at other peoples reviews of this hotel on yelp while I was sitting at the bar. It looks like it's beautiful in the evening. I want to come back. Heck, I want to stay at least two nights and have a staycation.

Lucia D.

Yelp
Great hotel and restaurant in east Delray. Very lively spot. Restaurants located inside are very good.

Maureen L.

Yelp
Amazing!! Loved the vibe, drinks and good. I would definitely go back to visit again.

Linda H.

Yelp
Great hotel and they have an amazing rooftop bar. The music and environment was great and a lot of fun.

Daniel J.

Yelp
Very nice and modern hotel that has been open for around a year at the time of writing this review. The location is right in downtown Delray Beach which has lots of ppl who come and hangout on the weekend. Mainly seem like the high scale middle aged professionals. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was pleasant and responsive. Our room had a balcony which we didn't use. But was nice to have. They have an amazing gym, which I was very impressed with for a hotel. There's several restaurants on site that you can choose from and plenty of restaurants off the property that are In walking distance. The only drawback regarding this hotel was the design of the bathroom. Didn't have many options to hand towels, and the shower door was kind of awkward. This room didn't have a microwave , but it did come with a fully stocked bar and small fridge that had sodas and drinks stocked. This is a great place to add if you're looking for a one/two night getaway.

Andrew R.

Yelp
Their $25 valet service returned my car with the automatic headlights disabled. If you are going to turn them off, at least turn them back on before returning the vehicle. Awful service at their rooftop restaurant and the food was awful. Will not return.

Cari M.

Yelp
Such great vibes offered at this hotel off Atlantic Ave with many awesome amenities. we love that it's off the beaten path. Pete the bellman is literally the best GO TO guy - just follow his recommendations for food, coffee, what to do & where to go he is so knowledgeable, helpful & a true pleasure!

Yelp
From the moment we pulled up to The Ray Hotel, I knew this was going to be a perfect weekend. The valet was so nice and accommodating. Tom at check in was outstanding! Tom knew everything I was looking for, acknowledged me as a Diamond Member and went above and beyond. When we got to the room it was exactly what I thought it would be and more. Immaculate well appointed guest room. Before going to dinner, we went up to Rosewater and had drinks/appetizers. The appetizer's were delicious and drinks were perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed!! The Ray Hotel was the perfect choice in Delray Beach. I look forward to returning and plan to book clients as I know they will absolutely love it. Thank you for a great stay!

Natalie S.

Yelp
I came here for a private event in the Cube rooftop. Pulled into the valet and was told that there was only parking for hotel guests and they were full. Very disappointing! Due to the fact that it was raining we couldn't be on the rooftop and we were inside The cocktail hour was nice they had passed hors d'oeuvres and a seafood station. Loved the lobster on the seafood station that was already pulled out of the shell. For dinner there was a choice of salmon, steak or vegetarian option. I had the steak and really enjoyed the sauce that it was served with. The dessert was a chocolate cake with a white filling or a piece of key lime pie. Both were quite good. For such a hip looking Hotel I did not particularly care for the decor in this room. It looks like it needs to be updated.

Truth I.

Yelp
Rooms are small and unremarkable. The staff, the staff - unprofessional, incompetent and makes you feel like you are at quidos overnight instead of a 600 a night hotel. DOUBLE CHARGED me for the same room!!! That feels like a scam to me since it happened days after my stay and after I checked out and got the receipt. Hotel Manager Tom had an attitude about it. Not worth the price for the accommodations, location and unprofessionalism, then the hassle of being ripped off and proving you were double charged. Keurigs in room, everyone knows those are a mold factory. NEVER AGAIN. still waiting on refund to show up.

Holly C.

Yelp
Really stellar experience at The Ray last week. Decided to stay here on Christmas Eve (it's now a new tradition) and what a treat. Diane met us at the car and helped to get everything on the cart and up to our room. Though we were only on property for one day, it was a great experience to have what felt like a personal concierge to address questions and needs. Diane's husband was there to help get us out the door the next day too, how cute were they! Staff were terrific, and the hotel gym... wow. I mean, I really think I would stay here again JUST for the gym! Perfect set up compete with Peloton bikes and the full nine that would make my trainer at home proud. It's pricey - especially the $42 valet parking fee which is the only option for secure parking - but you know you get what you pay for. Nespresso virtuo coffee machine, frette towels and slippers, the plus list goes on an on. My only complaints are more in the superficial dept with one being a little more than that. We happened to be here during a cold snap across Florida and no matter what I did we could not get the heat to hit 70 degrees in the room the entire time. Yes, we should have called down but honestly it felt like by the time we called we'd be leaving. The second is really silly but I had called for more decaf coffee pods and needed to call three times over the course of the night before I finally got them. Again, this is a first world issue and by no means urgent or mission critical (although some might argue otherwise as it pertains to limited access to coffee), and it was Christmas Eve, so that has to be taken into consideration. But seriously, I have to go back down that way next week and am really struggling to stay anywhere else this was such a great experience!

Alexi Y.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Sexy Rooftop Lounge. Come early to enjoy before crowds. Just what Delray needed. Parking in garage near Arts Garage on 2nd Ave for $5 all night after 4. Nice appetizers, though on the expensive side. Happy Hour eases the wallet to allow you to enjoy the view. One star off for a staff concern. Waitress tagged a 20% tip onto small group bill. Manager said that was improper. So, watch your bills and always question your server. When in doubt, find a Manager.

Yelp
Great location. Decent room but shower leaked all night. For a supposed luxury hotel the staff is obnoxious and not well informed. Staff members were walking around unmasked and clearly sick coughing all over the place. It's Florida but it's just added to the horrible stay. No room service... there's no privacy tag but some switch on the wall with no instructions. No bar soap. Walls are paper thin, I heard the cleaning staff outside my room literally morning to night while working from my room. I'm a Hilton diamond member and was told that I had no benefits here until I checked out and saw there was a food credit that I was not able to completely take advantage of because I was lied too. I will be writing to management this week.

Samantha M.

Yelp
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel for five nights. I don't love staying in hotels because of all of the germs, but I felt great staying here - it was clean and we had fresh towels each day. The hotel was gorgeous and had so many amenities we didn't have time to take full advantage of! The rooftop was beautiful, and I wish we had more time to stay up there to sunbathe or eat dinner! I wish it were open slightly later - then we would have had some time to relax up there after exploring the area during the day. The gym and fitness classes looked phenomenal if you have the time to take one. The only strange thing was the window from the bedroom looking into the shower! It just may not be a great place to stay if you aren't incredibly comfortable with the people on your trip. I also appreciated all of the plants throughout the entire building! Would love to stay again.

Bethann R.

Yelp
Booked 3 rooms and we were told that each room gets 30 dollars a day credit to use in the hotel, including the roof top bar. We ordered food and drinks and when the bill came the rooftop restaurant said they no longer honor the credit. We would not have ordered from the restaurant if we knew this. Spoke with front desk and they said they are unaware of this. Elevator got stuck and dropped down. When we used the phone in the elevator to call we got a machine. We spoke with the front desk and was told they would contact engineering. When we met with hotel manager he said he was unaware and engineering was not notified. He gave a 100 dollar room credit to use in the hotel. We told the manager we were not able to use at the rooftop. He told us we absolutely could that it was just a . It wasn't a glitche. Same thing happened again. Rooms are small. Bathroom was the worst set up I have ever seen. There is a see through floor to ceiling window from the bedroom to the bathroom. Crazy!!! Will not be returning.

Yelp
Beautiful Hilton property that is very newly opened in the heart of the Pineapple Grove district of downtown Delray Beach. There is Valet parking for daily and nightly guests but if you go for dinner or the rooftop, there is plenty of free parking nearby. We were happily greeted upon arrival and the hotel is very classy and modern. There are separate elevators for hotel guests and patrons of the rooftop bar. Hotel guest can use their own elevators to get up to the rooftop pool as well. Separate but equal in the social experience. The outside elevator for non hotel guests is outside next to the front doors and is accessed by a separate hostess. Inside there is a very nice restaurant. Though it is pretty pricey, it has a very nice menu and is cozy and warm with a bistro setting. Open kitchen concept with great service. The hotel rooms don't really have any kind of fantastic view because the hotel is nestled in a part residential part commercial neighborhood. I would suggest staying in a room not overlooking NE 2nd Ave because the hotel only has 4 floors and the street noise may be an issue. The hotel is in a great location and is withing walking distance of some great restaurants and shops. It is also close to the beach and the tennis facility of Delray.

Betsy S.

Yelp
Awe came here to go to the rooftop and we had a reservation. The rooftop is exquisite and it makes me feel as if I'm in NY again (where I'm from). It is hip, fun, and the food was very good! We ordered drinks, sushi, eggplant, chicken skewers and we loved everything! I loved the pool up on the deck as well. The lobby I beautiful and it gives off a very cool vibe. I will come back and I would like to bring some other people with me. If is a brand new hotel and it has created quite the buzz in Delray (where I live!). Just be prepared for the price tag...

L L.

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel with tremendously friendly staff. We had a room with large patio (2 chairs and table) which allowed us to enjoy morning stretch and coffee outside. Beautiful rooftop pool with plenty of lounges. Extra Plus that they have a bar up there too! Walking distance to all the Atlantic Ave mayhem. Enjoy!

Ben Y.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this hotel but was very disappointed. I would avoid this hotel for the following reasons: 1) the front desk is not friendly, 2) the towel service person at the rooftop pool is not helpful (did not give us any towels after setting up the chairs, had to ask for it), 3) pool is icy cold (not heated), 4) expensive, not worth the money. Pros: 1) gym has lots of machines and treadmills, 2) nice decor in the lobby.

Wendy W.

Yelp
We just came back from a fabulous 5 days at The Ray. The property is beautiful and in a fabulous location ( pineapple grove) right off the main drag of Atlantic Ave. The area is filled with great restaurants but the two in the hotel, Akira Back and Ember Grille are superb. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are not huge but beautiful. We had no issues with noise and we were on the fourth floor, a room with a balcony. The pool on the roof is beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast by the pool most mornings. The gym on the first floor is fantastic, the only thing missing were water bottles. They had headphones and chilled towels. If you want to go to the beach, they will give you a beach bag with towels and shuttle you to and from in a golf cart. There are lounge chairs at the beach for hotel guests. The not so good...the water pressure from the sink was low, our shower was fine. A few days housekeeping didn't come until late in the day, when we were ready to shower to go out at night. They did come right up, once we called. There are only 30 seats around the pool, so if you want one, you need to get to the pool by 9:00am. Many people run up and leave things on chairs to hold them. There is a sign saying you cannot save seats or leave them for more than 15 min. but this rule is not enforced. There is an alternate area for sunning but there is no pool there. One morning my husband was adjusting his lounge chair at the pool and the wooden back slammed down on his fingers. They were badly bruised, not broken. It happened to another person the day before. I believe they added rubber stoppers the day we were leaving, but his fingers are still black and blue and sore. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back. We are Hilton diamond members. Is it the BEST Curio hotel I've been to? No. However, it did have the best service I've enjoyed in a long time.

Yelp
Stayed 2 nights over Easter weekend. Disappointed given how this hotel positions itself as a higher end stay. It's a 3 star hotel at best. Walls are paper thin, we could hear people talking in the next room and hallway. (Good thing they went to bed reasonably early.) Towels were also paper thin; again, 3-star hotel quality. The room was small and the bathroom not well thought out. There's no room to place toiletries or hang a toiletry bag, we had to bring the small coffee table from the room into the bathroom so we could put our bathroom stuff somewhere. The location is great but next time we'll stay somewhere else.

Yelp
Phenomenal staff and amazing amenities. The valet husband and wife duo were the absolute best and they deserve all the recognition they can get. 10/10 recommend staying at this beautiful hotel.

Yelp
The Ray Hotel is everything you expect from a Curio property and more. From the moment you enter the hotel it is evident you're about to have a great stay. From the Valet, to Front Desk, Housekeeping and the terrific Restaurant/Bar staff were all terrific. Highly recommend The Ray as a Hilton Diamond Member.

Yelp
Customer service is clearly not first and foremost of importance for your team. When entering the hotel a Valet named Bruno advised that they were at full capacity unless staying overnight. My husband proceeded to advise him we were staying overnight- he immediately responded saying we were lying we were here for the restaurant. I advised we had a reservation and he responded- yeah let's see what happens when you go to the desk you won't gets your car back. I was absolutely taken back. I am here celebrating my husband's birthday.

Yelp
We checked in at The Rey Hotel and Richard had the best customer service! I definitely recommend this hotel in Florida! Great atmosphere, amazing vibes

Yelp
Food was good. Staff friendly. We ordered on the heavy side not watching our bottom line so we got zapped for a $200 brunch. When money flows ok. When it ain't...that's a sting. Nothing a little Benedryl can't cure. We'll be back. We're suckers for good food in nice places.

Yelp
Our stay at the Ray Hotel was top notch. My companions and I were treated to immaculate rooms, plush mattresses and bedding and a very attentive staff. Evenings spent, if not in the stunning lobby/bar, engaged in great conversations on comfortable sofas (think dear friends living room) were spent on our furnished balconies, overlooking the terrace. Mornings were equally as pleasant with Nespresso machines at the ready for a leisurely cup while watching day break over Pineapple Grove. If you are a foodie - you are in luck! The food and service at Rosewater and Ember Grill were both outstanding.!!!! We all left feeling pampered and refreshed.

Yelp
We attended the rosewater rooftop bar and sat outside. It preceded to rain on us and no one helped grab our food or drinks or warned us of rain even though they knew it was coming. The manager made rude comments to my friend and I wouldn't recommend this bar to anyone. There was no refund for anything and the devastating thing about it was that we had a reservation. Customer service is DEAD!

Yelp
The Ray was a "must". The location is perfect. Near restaurants and the beach. The hotel shuttles you to the beach. Tom from the front desk is one of a kind. He goes above and beyond for his guests. We have stayed at various Hiltons and this location exceeded our expectations. Cleanliness, communication, costumer satisfaction, etc. A huge thank you the the front desk for making this experience memorable and making it feel like a retreat.

Yelp
Rooms were great! Loved the bed and bathroom along with the mini bar options if I wanted to indulge. Rooftop bar was cool but it rained so it was a bit limited up there. Great options for bars and restaurants and it's close to the Main Street and all those restaurants.

Yelp
Great stay here, looking forward to coming back. From the staff, excellent gym, upscale rooms, and rooftop pool the overall experience was amazing. Location is great, 2 blocks from Atlantic Ave close enough to walk, far enough to avoid the noise.

Yelp
The Ray is such a unique hotel. Inside the decor is bright and very modern. The lobby and the rooms almost make me want to redo my house. The rooms are very nice and the balcony is a great place to relax and just soak in pinnacle grove. Stingers, the coffee shop on the first floor is amazing. I also had the chance to check out Ember Grill attached to the outside of the Ray, and the food was delicious. The Ray is located in pineapple grove. It is such a perfect location for a hotel like the Ray. Right next to Atlantic Ave, for restaurants and nightlife. And next to the beach. The Ray offers shuttles with electric beach buggies that are a perfect way to get around Delray Beach. I would recommend everyone stays at the Ray.

Yelp
Great hotel and very clean!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!! But I got surprised at check-out for an additional resort fee of $30.00 per night for transportation to and from the beach in their electric cart & use of beach lounge chairs. I was told this fee is automatically added per night for the beach and the pool too. Whether you use the beach and pool or not, the fee is added per night of your stay. This should have been explained on their website with my online booking. Their gym on the 1st level is the most elaborate I have ever seen for a "hotel gym". I see a few bad reviews all given by several Floridian locals because they could not get into the roof bar/club since it's new and so popular. Ignore those reviews as they are unfair reviews and do NOT rate the experience of the hotel.

Yelp
Major problem is the roof top bar. It is open until 2am on Fri & Sat. Loud music and a thumping bass note that travel into the rooms. I asked parking valet to charge a rental Tesla overnight, and they failed to do. Had to spend an 2 hours at a supercharger the next day. Third nail in the coffin was the housekeeping staff stole little items from my belongings. An unopened box of eye drops, a new razor and a baggie of q-tips. Really strange. Staff does the bare minimum and was less than helpful. Definitely will not be back.

Yelp
We past it thinking it was just a hotel that hood wedding events. However it has a roof top bar. The place is beautiful and decorated with taste. They have a pool but is only for guests of the hotel. I can only judge the drinks. We tried the watermelon specialty cocktail and one that had pineapple and vodka... both of them were horrible. The price was pretty high for the quality of drinks. We asked a couple next to us and their thoughts were the same as ours. We won't come back.

Yelp
We spent an amazing birthday weekend at The Ray and the thing that stood out the most was the incredible staff members who made our stay so memorable. The pool deck is gorgeous, food is great, accommodations were luxurious and comfortable and we had a blast. But it is the people I will remember most. Prince helped set up our birthday evening and was absolutely wonderful. Clinique was helpful, kind and so lovely. Ben was thoughtful and accommodating and Marcus and Matthew were much appreciated as they helped me decorate the room the party was to be in. But there was one person who is an absolute star: Tatiana. Tatiana had more hustle, more thoughtfulness, more kindness, more heart than I have ever seen in this industry. She anticipated our guests' needs and went the extra mile (or 10!) to make sure we were well taken care of. This woman deserves a raise! She is a shining star.

Yelp
We decided to have a little staycation, we found the room to be not very clean and on the smaller side. We were not particularly a fan of the creepy barbie doll art. We did change rooms but the next room had similar art although cleaner. The hotel does not have room service? and the breakfast options were not what you would expect for a luxury hotel. Our room in the back of the hotel and over looked some cleaning crew yelling at each other in French. nothing special, four seasons and ritz are both much better options.
