A friend and I went to Red Rose with our daughters tonight for dinner. I know the chef Jon and wanted to try to the steak. We shared a strip steak, crab legs, and shrimp scampi. I am beyond enthralled at Jon’s attention to detail when it comes to his food. The steak was so tender; I didn’t need a knife to cut it. It was seasoned to perfection. The fries are perfectly cooked. The crab was delicious. We ended our meal with fresh baked cookies that are beyond all expectations. French chocolate makes them decadent without being overly sweet. The food is top notch and by far the best thing I have eaten in this county and perhaps the last ten years of my life.
The bar itself is how I would like my home. I can not imagine a better aesthetic. It’s cozy, charming, Victorian, Americana. It’s perfect.
This place is top notch and the owner JP and Jon are a dream team.
Garrett the bartender is great company and on top of everything. Alyssa the food runner is funny and upbeat.
Everything is this place runs smoothly and creates a relaxing, peaceful, and welcoming environment. I can’t recommend it enough.
