Cool little vibe. Been vibing here for over 10rs+ Great Burgers. Dodger days are the best.

Definitely go during their new cocktail hours and try the Northern lights, possibly one of my favorite drinks ever. And our bartender Jose did an amazing job.

Kat was great! This place is so much nicer compared to what it used to be. We have been a couple times with the new ownership and decided to go grab dinner and drinks and it was great. Burger was cooked perfectly and my wife loved her steak. Plus they have some great Happy Hour specials.

Barry, Austin, and the rest were absolutely amazing. The tacos, hot dogs, and beer were phenomenal. Everyone should try this place!

Went for our first time with a Groupon deal, which was easy to use and covered my entire bill. We went right when they opened on a Thursday night and there was only 1 waitress. Service was slow but she was nice. Food was delicious. Would definately come back again. It was a bit hard to find as it is located inside of a building downstairs.

Disappointed at the fact that everything we asked for they were out of.... Michalada mix none, bloody mix none, food choices nope don't have it. It was a Thursday evening so it was slow, restaurant was clean, bartender was friendly, but she sure didn't like the Groupon deal. Lol. Im sure it's a cool spot to hang out and drink, but the food was mediocre at best for me this time around. Burger was dry, fish was tiny.

Great ambiance with the brick walls. Food is beyond amazing. They have several beers on tap including a couple from local brewers Hanger 24. Had the Irish nachos and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Also ordered a grilled cheese which sounds silly, but it was on Texas toast and damn... it was freakin good.

Went here for brunch, you make your own bloody Mary's, or you can have mimosas. Breakfasts sandwich was delicious. Has a garlic buttery flavor.

Went out last weekend, the bartender were cool, but the manager was rude. Some guy tried to start a fight with my friends, I told the manager about it and nothing was done. It got settled after telling the bartenders the situation and they called security to escort the guy out.

Underground is always a vibe. Our favorite place on a Friday or Saturday night. Jen the bartender always goes above and beyond with a friendly attitude, smile, and quick service. Definitely an awesome experience anytime we visit. :)

DO NOT TRUST THE EMPLOYEES HERE. actually like this place but the people who work here unfortunately are TRASH we had a tab going for a bit at the bar our bill was 33$ my husband closed out and gave bartender 40$ cash. Bartender charged our card 50$ still so not only did he charge us our bill he added a 7$ tip after taking our 40$ this sucks for us because we don't get to go out much and don't have it like that right now so he actually fucked us over. Low class

Got a Groupon for the brunch on a Sunday. Luckily, I read some past Yelp reviews warning me that they put a price limit even though the Groupon deal states that two entrees and the mimosas are included. Any entrees over $13, we would have to pay the difference. I got the grilled salmon, which was pretty awful. It was super dry, and also very salty. They probably over-salted the salmon to compensate for the lack of taste and dryness of the salmon. The mimosa bar was pretty cool. The waitress was very attentive in refilling our drinks. You can choose what juice to mix with the champagne, and there was a food variety of fruits (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and cherries). When we first entered the restaurant, we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. However, no one came to take our orders until I went to the bar to ask. Overall, the food and service was below average. For sure, I will not come back. Thank goodness, I at least had the Groupon deal. The experience was barely worth the Groupon price, and definitely would be way overpriced without the Groupon deal.

I was assaulted in this bar and reported my assault to a bouncer, who kicked me and my group of friends out once the assaulter came and talked to him, because they're a regular customer who spends good money. The bar won't release the security camera footage to me of my assault because there conveniently aren't any cameras in that area. They also accused me of being kicked out of here before, however this was my first night ever being at that bar, and I've never been kicked out of any place ever before. Please do not waste your time here, bouncers will not help you even if you report an assault to them. There are many reviews here of how much a joke the securities here are!! It's TRUE.

What are you all talking about? This place is awesome! Well for Brunch it is. I haven't been here at night. They have all you can drink Mimosas and Bloody Mary's, and a simple brunch menu to choose from. You'll enjoy the Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, you make your drinks to your liking. The waitress was awesome and made sure our drinks were refilled right away! Food was decent, not too bad. Super inexpensive. I recommend this place, it's underground, dim lighting and the ambience is nice. We will definitely be coming back.

Possibly the best hidden secret in Redlands. The Redlands Underground is our go to place for drinks anytime and occasionally lunch or dinner. Amazing and delicious food, all made from scratch, including their infamous chipotle sauce that taste great on everything !!! We've have been here three times and we keep coming back. Everything we've ordered from appetizers to lunch to dinner and especially the drinks are worth every penny. The food portions are perfect and then some! Great for the price, quality and taste! Totally recommend, you wont be disappointed, please Redlands Underground, NEVER change!!

I came here and it was vibing good music and drinks. When I had to go to the restroom the mens restroom was disgusting!!! None of the toilets were working and the sinks were clogged! How could you have a place operate like this definitely unprofessional! I asked the bouncer that the toilet was clogged and he didn't say anything back.

A fun place especially if you're looking to dance. The bartenders are quick, but that bartender Jen is a whole vibe. Will come back every shift she works

Just went there recently and Jen definitely had my back even though she was busy. Her drinks tasted great and I definitely enjoyed my night there.

It's always a fun spot to go to. There is a good vibe, and they have different fun nights every week. They have good service, and Jen, the bartender, is always great.

I came on a Saturday with my younger brother. They had great music, staff was nice, bartenders were accommodating everyone. It made for a happy crowd. I lost my phone unfortunately but was able to recover it when they reopened. I come from the 805 & this was definitely a place I'll be coming back to when I visit again.

It doesn't state this on the livingsocial/Groupon, but they charge you an extra fee because it is only up to $8 per person which it DOES NOT state. That is highly illegal. 1 star. Furthermore, infants and babies should not be allowed here. It is a bar primarily and a restaurant thereafter. I don't want to be at the bloody mary/mimosa bar and seeing a baby cough all over things. Ew, disgusting.

The girl that was working the bar last night was so rude I tried to leave tab open and she said that she didn't have my card after I had 1 drink she charged herself a 30 $ tip on my card

Dont come here. The security guard was incredibly hostile, unprofessional and disrespectful to me at the front door. Its not worth your time or energy to patronize a club that hires a bouncer that that makes your feel unsafe.

Made a quick stop at this bar on a Tuesday for an An Apple Jack Rita, As I was sipping on my drink Liz complemented the drink I was enjoying from there she brought up some great knowledge of making certain drinks and how much she enjoys the industry . It was really great service from her I definitely would hire her as a bartender.

Love their Irish nachos, amazing bartenders! Jose and Derek know how to make your drinks just right. They're super welcoming and treat you like family. There is not a dull moment with these boys! The bathrooms are always clean and the whole place has a great homey club/bar vibe that will get you dancing. There are plenty of fans if you get hot, just gotta find them. Lastly, Wednesday nights with DJInject gets you going just right as you celebrate mid week, with his latest hits and bringing it back to classic latin songs, you'll be wishing it was already Friday night so you could last all night. Won't be missing any Wednesday latin nights!

My experience here made me decide to only come here as a last resort, if ever. I came here on a Saturday night, after grabbing a beer with friends at a nearby brewery. I had my purse on me and there was a line to get to the door guy who was checking belongings and IDs to enter. When I moved to the front of the line, the door guy asked me to open my purse. Without searching, he immediately told me I couldn't bring any of that stuff in, and I need to put my purse in the car. I asked him what was disallowed in, and he said everything. You can't bring any of that stuff into the club. If you disagree, go somewhere else. I left and returned a few minutes later, and I was allowed entry. When I got inside, the place was incredibly stuffy, and hot. My friend was still in line at the bar to order his first drink, from when I initially tried to enter. This was during the pandemic. However, no face masks were mandated at the door or inside, the inside was crowded with people in every foot of every area, and it was impossible to keep even 1 ft distance away from a person. We waited a few minutes longer in line for the bar before deciding to leave "the club". I had been here before several times, and I mostly knew what to expect. However, the door guy was completely rude and brutally upfront in the situation. I gave no argument to him, and his response was sarcastic and that of an asshole. It's no surprise the amount of people who were inside. However, during this time I'd rather avoid the amount of people I saw in one confined area with little to no ventilation. The room temperature inside further adds to reasons to avoid this place.

This passed Saturday super filthy and sticky the floor like it was glue to your shoes they need to clean can you imagine the restroom health department needs to inspect that's just not acceptable , especially during covid so gross the place needs a super deep cleaning

The girlfriend & I have been here more than a few times so i felt it is high time i write a review about this bar. 5 red stars is warranted because i feel they truly deserve it. I have not had a bad experience before and I have come when they were packed and other quieter times. I am more than happy with the food, my favorite burger is the BBQ boss burger cooked medium. Their service and drinks are great. The cocktails are never watered down and they have a good selection of liquor. If you got the Groupon then you're a winner because you will get loads of food for your 2 or 4 persons deal. Oh, and apparently starting this Sunday, 2/14, they will have Sunday Brunch. This is a new thing. If I'm up early enough on a Sunday i might come down to see what its about.

This place is great, it's changed a bit but is one of our fave places to eat & drink. Can't wait to go again in the future.

We've been coming here for like 2 years never had any issues , last night the "security" thought they could put hands on one our friends and my fiancé when nobody put hands on them , they asked us to stop dancing a certain way because it wasn't allowed so we all stopped and they still wanted our whole group to get out , as we were heading out , I guess we weren't fast enough so one of the security's pushed our small friends hard af fuck and then 3 security guards grabbed my fiancé around the neck area when we were already headed up the stairs . When we got OUTSIDE the same asshole security sucker punched my fiancé in the fucking face for no god damn reason maybe just shit talking but that security had no right punching my fiancé in the face when nobody was threatening him or anything and we were already outside !!! We have seen this happen before , Same security did this to a women last time and he still Works there and gets away with it . The owner needs to FIRE him . And actually protect the customers that spend money at your bar .

First time here and I have to say I was impressed. Very nice scenery for basement type location. Food was very good and prices reasonable.

The bouncer was incredibly rude to our group upon arrival. Failed to have sub par hospitality and did not speak to me once during our interaction. Ambiance is decent however, establishment is very small and not very clean. Bathrooms lacked toilet paper and seemed like they had not been checked all night long. Will not return.

Update: this man is actually an employee. Spoke to management who refused to apologize, called me a liar, and told me to take my business elsewhere.

I've came here a few times & Liz is just simply amazing. She makes this place so much better. The drinks are awesome & she is very sweet & friendly. The best bartender hands down. Will definitely continue to come back here.

Bar food... expect that... get that! It's that simple! And you can get that here, with a good cocktail, without spending a lot of change! I usually will take advantage of Groupon offers for random places, to explore surrounding cities and try out new places without too much buyers remorse, so to speak! I always check Yelp first, as long as it has 3 stars, I'm in - why not?? So I purchased a "dinner/drinks for two" deal for less than $20 (value $42) and it finally came time to use it! Downtown Redlands in itself is a great little place to walk around and explore, so that was a no-brainer! In the same building that houses The District, and somewhere in between A La Minute and Crepes of Wrath, is a doorway leading to a downward staircase which brings you to a full belly and a good time! The place is dark and some would say intimate, but it's really casual and there are plenty of food/drink options. It's a decent place to relax, have a drink or two, and grab a bite... Easy to hang with friends and actually have a conversation because the background music isn't crazy loud. Brandy was amazing... She was the only person on duty, besides the cook, up until the time we left! We heard her tell the table next to us that Tuesdays (the night we were there) are one of their busiest nights because they have $2 drafts/wells and live music entertainment in the evening (9PM). Considering how tiny the place is, not sure where they'd perform or what that'd be like. But burgers and steaks were good... they serve Angus beef.... just a little on the bland side - even just a pinch of salt would have helped. Drinks were great! Brandy was awesome! Groupon was worth it! They give you $42 credit and you order whatever you want, if you go over, just pay the difference. Worth 3.5 stars but I'll bump it to 4! It was good for what it was... Don't knock it, till you try it... Bar food!

They absolutely make my top list for greatness out in the inland empire/dead desert lol.. The new Shrip tocos are delish with a hit of chipotle they are superb... Jose the waiter was super friendly he made my day ! The chi cken wing were fully flavored and lack nothing. I recommend this place, i will definitely come back... fyi night live here is awesome one of the few places that actualy are and stay happening till 2am.... beer selection is great as well and the full bar is a full bar ....... 20$ tip well deserved

I used to love this bar but today I'm not. I had just got back from buying a full round of shots, I set them down to hand them out and when I waited to hand them out, one of the employees threw it away. When I asked them about it they literally said " if you put it down we throw it away" which I think is BS bc they have tables where we can put our drinks. So we can't put our drinks on tables? I'm not coming back and we come every Friday but if they're going to be throwing drinks away, I'll "waste" my money elsewhere. This never used to happen so I think it may be their new management. They know if they throw it away, you will probably buy more which is messed up.

I'm not giving no stars this place is a mess the security is a joke. It as the end of the night and we we're in the baptism when we came our the door was locked we were locked in. We edge knocking to let them know we were there and the pushed the door open and hit me and hit me in the head hard. They didn't say anything just were closed and rushed us out. This place is a joke and horribly managed. The security is a joke. They pack as many people as they can it's really a fire hazard. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This place was a huge mess. Had a groupon for 2 brunch entrees and unlimited mimosas/bloody Marys. First thing I was told that it is only good for $40 so anything we spend on those things before that we have to pay for. I think that defeated the purpose of the Groupon. Then once we ordered the food and it came out was cold, the sandwich my husband ordered was wrong and they said yea were out of this and that. Why weren't we told when we ordered it then?! Good was cold but also no flavor and I could've made better at home.. For free! Service was horrible and it was not even busy when we got there.

I've been coming to this place for a while now and every time is great. Really dope environment and some really dope people. Shout out to Lizz the bartender she's super dope and helped make my time at this place more enjoyable. 5 stars

The food was pretty good so giving 3 stars only because even with the Groupon you owe tax, tip, & another hidden fee for something I'm still confused about.. in the end there isn't a deal and it was far from me

A friend found a Groupon for this place, so the four of us though we would try it out. Redlands Underground Restaurant and Bar is in downtown Redlands and located inside a building and down the stairs. We had to ask where it was as we did not see the canopy above us with the sign. We all liked the hidden away, downstairs, underground them. The inside had some nice long high tables for us to sit at. There were a couple of small TV's at the bar we could almost see even though this wasn't the largest place. Overall, a fairly nice atmosphere. We ordered a few beers from a decent selection of craft beers that were available and then proceeded to order some appetizers. We shared the Fried Green Bean and Cream Cheese filled Jalapeno Poppers. Both were really and well worth ordering again. Our Entrees were the were the BBQ Bacon Burger with Onion Rings, the Classic Bootleg Burger w/Angus beef and two orders of Fish and Chips made with battered Halibut. Both burgers were very good and well prepared and certainly fit the mood for us along with the delicious onion rings. The Fish and Chips were definitely worth the trip to Redlands. Battered Halibut is absolutely delicious to begin with and then consider the size and amount of fish and the price. You have a real winner of a meal here. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely made up for the lack of zest we received from our server who just seemed to be going through the motions. She was in no hurry for anything, nor overly enthusiastic or particularly helpful to us in any of our inquiries. The other thing that we really didn't care for was that just before 9pm the crowd started to change into groups of unruly lowlifes that came to perform Karaoke which started to get very loud and drove a majority of the diners out of the place. When we go to visit any type of eating or drinking establishment, we prefer to be able to carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. If we go to see live music, then that is understandable and expected. We really enjoyed what the Underground Restaurant and Bar had to offer in terms of food and atmosphere and plan on going back next time we are in Redlands, but plan on getting their a bit earlier to avoid the Karaoke crowd.

We came to the Underground for brunch due to a Groupon deal and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service and food. We had a large party and they were very accomodating, even for the kid in our group. The Bloody Mary and mimosa bar was fantastic. I ordered the breakfast tacos with both chorizo and bacon and the side of potatoes. It was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, the steak was superb. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend coming here for brunch, it is definitely a hidden brunch gem.

Favorite little bar in downtown Redlands! The food was yummy and the drinks were delicious the service is amazing as well, everyone was nice, friendly and service was fast Would definitely recommend and will be going back

Heat food ! Good drinks but services is a bit slow , however the food made up for it we got Irish nachos and the butcher steak. 12/08/2017 So an updated review this is a great bar located in Redlands. Definitely has its name to being in a basement type of environment. Good drink specials and all around good crowed and service. I can't complain much except the restroom is only one and the lines are long so overall besides that the bar is good and during the day time the food is definitely decent and pretty good. Tuesday nights and weekends are the best times I would say to come by here.

Tried this bar for the first time with a couple of coworkers. The place is nice and clean, drinks are cheap and music was ok. The reason I'm leaving a bad review is because I was pushed outside by one younger bald bouncer who straight up started stalking me while I was waiting for my friends to come out of the bathroom. I went outside to look for them and came back in and he decided that he wanted to kick me out and told me "I can do whatever I want". This individual is a younger Bald guy with a sleeve tattoo. It was a bad experience but it didn't ruin my night, there were other really nice bars around with nice bouncers. Regards,

I came here multiple times and never had problems. I recently went the time before today and it was pleasant experience. GOOD FOOD AND DECENT PRICES! I came out to celebrate my friend's birthday tonight. I order an Angry Orchid I gave the bartender a bill (100). She gave me 75 (3 20s 2 5s 1 5s) later I went to the bar curious of the amount of my beer because I know it wasn't the amount she gave me back was correct. She told me 5 dollars for it??!! Ok so where is my $95 she counted back 80 to me. I am disappointed tonight it ruined my night. I should've went some where else to get change like I thought. I went back to the bartender she swore her drawer wasn't short. How do you know your drawer isn't over if you don't physically count it. I wouldn't admit to short changing anyone over 5 bucks either. She accuse me of dropping it. If I am telling you I am short. Maybe she thought I was paying me and someone else. But I am calling in the morning or afternoon to speak to someone because $20 is big difference.

THE REDLANDS UNDERGROUND IS 100 percent better then bubba gump the grilled cheese at the gump was dry as the ass hell The underground was moist fish freshly beer battered taste actually like beer awesome service food and atmosphere give a five star.
