The Reizod Vegan Experience

Great food made to order. What a menu they have (a wide selection of food from raw, smoothies/drinks, appetizers, pizza, to meals that satisfy (sweet/spicy/savory tastes). In pictures: Oxtail with sides of Zuchini Salad and red cabbage (Rating: 5 of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- the cabbage is flavored very well and zucchini salad was great ..actually had me thinking of cucumbers); Raw Tacos- 5/5.0 excellent selection 3 tacos packed with flavor and vegetables and their sauce! Recommend for an appetizer too! Fried Mushrooms with sides of Mac & Cheese and Collards- (Rating 4/5) as the Mushrooms are seasoned, battered, and fried well but in my opinion a (little) bit too much that I don't really taste the Mushroom. People new or transitioning to vegan foods would love this as it gives the fried texture and flavor of meats (chicken) so this is great but for the true Mushroom lover the mushroom is overshadowed by the dress up of batter and seasonings. Mac and Cheese was ok. Overall this plate was good and flavored well. I do recommend for those that have a taste for each of these items. Biscoff Cake (Rating 5 of 5)- moist, flavorful, amply sized, and reasonably priced compared to many vegan places I've been to; Raspberry Tea- (Rating 4.5/5) as it was refreshing and not too sweet! Overall, this place is a Gem! SO Glad I was able to come here and get my fresh vegan fix. Especially, when you're in need of "living food" and not just a boring salad; this place has something for everyone. Definitely planning to visit again and try their pizza. Stop in and indulge as you wont be disappointed.

I love that The Reizod Vegan Experience is actually vegan and doesn’t feel heavy or fattening — I always leave feeling full and fulfilled. Everything is made fresh to order, which I really appreciate, but just know it can take about 30–50 minutes to get your food. So if you’re in the military or on a tight lunch break, I’d recommend trying them out on the weekend instead. One thing that could use improvement is the accuracy of their hours. Google Maps says they open at 11AM on some days, but a lot of the time, they don’t actually unlock the doors until Noon. They’re also sometimes closed for maintenance or other reasons, which can make it hard to depend on them for scheduled meal plan pickups. A little trick I use: I usually check DoorDash and place my order for pickup through there — that way I can tell if they’re really open or not before making the trip. Still, when they’re open, the food hits every time — fresh, flavorful, and worth the wait. Just plan ahead and be patient! *** Update*** I spoke to the Manager. I didn't know that I could call at 0900 to place my pickup orders so that's good to know. I still wont get my food until after 1230 though so that probably wouldn't work for me.

The food was pretty good. I have to give a 3 only because I didn't really feel welcomed to sit in the establishment. I was told they would deliver to my car. No problem. I decided to come back in after feeling it was time for the food. I just wanted to have a seat inside after driving over 200 miles. We'll they emphasized that I could go back to my car. I wouldn't go back but the food was pretty fair.

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was seasoned very well, and it came out hot. Had a great crisp on the mushroom chicken. I recommend the cheeseburger eggrolls! (So Good) Dee was so pleasant and helpful on the recommendations. She also has a great sense of humor! The wait might take a little bit, but it is totally worth it! Will definitely travel the two plus hours to come back. Oh... and don't forget dessert too!

I love the food. I love the atmosphere. The ribs are the bomb. The sweat potatoe fries are the best I've tasted. I like them sweat. But you can get them savory or you can do them both. Holla at my my girl Jennifer.

This Black owned vegan restaurant was definitely very tasty. I had the vegan Caribbean Oxtail over quinoa. The best version of oxtail I have ever tasted. The staff was amazing 😍. Just know that the restaurant is not that big, unless you get lucky and find a table. That's how good the food is. I will be back and definitely tell other fellow vegans.

The food was AMAZING!! Seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. Me and my wife can't wait to go back again. We had the Vegan Meatlover pizza which tasted way better than Pizza. We also had the barbecue and sweet and spicy wings which were top tier. We also got blessed with a bischoff cupcake.

Amazing soul food. We had a group of people come here that aren’t vegan and they loved it! I got the oxtail it was absolutely delicious. The portions are a really good size and prices are fair.

Absolutely fantastic food. Took a party of 7 for dinner and took up half the seating. We all ordered different things and tasted each others plus appetizers and dessert. It was all excellent, truly. The group included two vegans and one vegetarian, with the other four omnivores. No one was disappointed. We tried the Jambalaya Pasta with sausage and chicken, couple of burgers, the spicy chicken, the Jerk chicken, the crab and shrimp pasta (divine), and sides of fried okra, sweet potato fries, brussel sprouts, plantains... amazing. The appetizers were very very good: spring rolls and cauliflower bites. The desserts also excellent. The service was friendly and relaxed. Made to order, not fast food, and we felt welcome to hang out and chat. There isn't a great deal of space and the style of the seating is pretty minimal. Threw me back to my NYU student days and the amazing zen Buddhist minimalist restaurant in the west village I frequented... No complaints even from the omnivores. We cleaned our plates and talked about how good it was on the ride home!! I've been vegetarian for 35 years and this was some of the best "mock" meat/seafood I've ever had. My shrimp and crab pasta was unbelievable and sampled by everyone at the table, lol. Also quite affordable. We were 7 people and got 2 appetizers and 2 desserts and it was under $200 before tip. With generous portions.

This was my third meal ever from Reizod. Last item someone else got the food, so I kinda went all out this time. Had the Chef Salad, Blueberry NY Cheezecake, Cauliflower Bites & M'eat Lovers Pizza. The latter was sold out online but I did call it in. They also didn't have any pepperoni on it, which was a let down. I also technically had the gluten-free cheesecake since the first one was sold out. Also had the Iced Raspberry Tea. Everything was very good. The flavor and taste of the pizza was on point. I put it in the oven a little on my end as I like a crispy crust. The last time I had to cauliflower bites they had sauce on them...I prefer dipping it like this with sauce on the side. I prefer the Cheezecake at room temperature. Coming out of the fridge I wasn't feeling it. The service for me was in the middle. They were accommodating, but I also felt a bit dismissed. I'll attribute it to the end of the night and will try coming here again.

I love this place so much. The meat lovers pizza is my go to. It's so tasty. I love the wings and strawberry milkshake as well. Very nice service too. I had a good experience last time I was there. Go every time I come to Columbia. Wish the place was a little cuter and dine-in friendly. The black out curtains make the place difficult to find.

Visiting from NYC, we took a chance and called on Christmas Day. Of course, the phone rang to voicemail (understandably of course). A few minutes later, the phone rang, and someone mentioned a missed call. It's the (assuming) the owner of the restaurant. Super nice and very accommodating. He decided to take a limited amount of orders, knowing that there's not many vegan options available and open during the holiday season. He explained the menu to me and told me to come in between 1:30 and 2:00 pm. Once arrived, we were treated with the best hospitality and the space was extremely clean and welcoming. Music was playing, and there was a game on the tv. Food was presented to us; we were thanked and had a good laugh/conversation. Would definitely come back again.

I am NEVER been disappointed with the food and service at Reizod! The food is fresh and it tastes incredible- so incredible that you'll question if it's actually vegan, but it absolutely is. The staff is always happy to help with any questions or suggestions and they even offer meal plans for busy schedules. 10/10- highly recommend!

Everything is DELICIOUS , Philly cheesesteak 10; strawberry milkshake 20; meat, lovers pizza 9, mac & cheese 8, plantain 9 Service 10 Ambiance-8 I didn't tell them but this was my 60th Birthday wish - a Vegan spread . I drove from Sumter SC - Columbia to get the Reizod vegan experience after reading the recent reviews ( hadn't been in years) . Glad I made the trip !

This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. They take great care in the presentation and taste. I'm in town for three days and might just hit this place every day. The menu is very extensive. I wanted something healthy so I got the Chickpea Masala over quinoa with cabbage, brussel sprouts and zucchini salad. Everything exceeded my expectations. The young lady at the counter was very kind.

Good but overpriced....................... Not any ambience.......We ate when he had a restaurant across the street and was much more affordable............I would return but the cost was prohibitive.......

My husband and daughter have been coming in for years. My daughter is vegetarian. My husband always brags about how good the food is but I just wasn't quite interested since I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I came for the first time today and it was delicious. I got the Jamabalya Pasta and Brussels sprouts and everything was seasoned so well. You wouldn't even know it was vegan. The staff is super sweet, welcoming, patient, & helpful. It's also very clean and the atmosphere is very nice. It was more than I expected & I'll be back.

Amazing menu! With soy free options which is something i absolutely love and been looking for! Glad i was able to give them a chance this time while i was in town I wish i lived closer I'd definitely eat here more often! Great customer service as well The advice i left before was clearly taken into effect and i love it only thing to "complaint" is the carry out boxes are flimsy by the time i got home the box was soaked and falling apart and food was mixed up

Oxtails WAS UNBELIEVABLE. My wife ribs peppers and onions was beyond amazing. The house juice was so flavorful and we signed up for the meal plan. This place didn't leave any part of my taste buds lacking. A must try if you are in the Columbia area.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now and today was the day. All the food is very tasty. We ordered a good variety and nothing disappointed us. We had the ribs with onions and peppers on rice, bbq chicken, plantains, empanadas, collards, macaroni salad, sweet potato bun, and gf cheesecake. Our outstanding favorites were the empanadas, plantains, and gf cheesecake! There was a couple next to us there for the first time as well and they were also impressed with everything they ordered. We went on a Saturday afternoon so things were getting busy but they made time to answer all our questions. I was very impressed that they were willing to accommodate my gluten free needs. It's hard to find a place to eat out that has both Vegan and Gluten Free options! I was also impressed with the freshness of the food and that much of it was prepared while we waited! (Order ahead if you don't want to wait). We waited about 20-30 minutes and ate in stages as it came out which worked for us as we were sharing. The place is located in a strip mall with very little ambiance but we weren't there for that and the excellence of the food overlooks any lack of atmosphere. There are not a lot of tables to eat in (maybe 5-6?) but that wasn't a problem as most people seemed to have ordered ahead for take out. If you are Vegan or plant based or hanging with someone who is, make the effort to try this place out. The prices add up but we ordered a lot and have enough left over for tomorrow so it's not that bad. I forgot to take pictures so maybe next time and there will be a next time.

I decided to try this establishment as I was wanting something different. So, I ordered the spring rolls, empanada, and plantains. I placed the order and it was cooked to order, which is nice.....tired of receiving food from a warming lamp. I happily wanted the 25 mins. The food was delicious. If you get an opportunity and find yourself in the area, it's definitely is worth stopping in and ordering a meal !

Owner was very hostile when called out about their shady meal plan activities. Apparently the plans expire after 2 months. No warning or anything. Refused to give us a refund and was being an asshole about it. There were also hidden fees that weren't mentioned when we first signed up ($20 delivery fees). EDIT: I see the owner replied, I didn't berate anyone. They are the ones that called me and were acting disrespectful. Not even willing to come to a compromise and the owner just hung up on me instead of calmly discussing the situation.

ARE YOU KIDDING? This place deserves more than 5 stars. Don't judge it by the outside .... Order that BOMB food! Impeccable friendly service too. We got the hot wings (very hot, SO GOOD). My personal favorite thing we tried. The sliders and cheeze steak appetizer roll were amaaazing too. A must visit for anyone vegan or heck even non-vegans should live this spot. Reizod KNOWS wtf he's doing. I'll make a point to come back if I'm ever driving through again.

Amazing small business that delivers quality vegan food. The variety listed on the menu felt very well thought out. The food was comfort food with a vegan twist. I ordered several items being my first time shrimp scampi, 5 layer tacos with three side items collard greens, kale and brussels sprouts, cheese grits (not on the menu), chicken wings more like nuggets and bacon cheese burger. My tab was like $100 on the nose. I really enjoyed the shrimp scampi as my favorite dish hot full of sauce flavor and creamy. The chicken was nuggets and were good flavor nice house hot sauce. I'd recommend this place, took plenty of leftovers, and can't wait to return. I ate too fast to take photos. Also I order the non dairy milk shake. Tastes like a birthday cake. Amazing.

We come here any time we are in SC. The food is amazing. We typically order to eat in AND to take away for later--yes that good!

The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious! If you're ever in Columbia, definitely check out this vegan restaurant. They have salads, wraps, desserts, and much more. I places my order and waited in my car for about 20 minutes. They brought the food out to me. They also offer a vegan cooking and informational class. The owner is very friendly and passionate about vegan food.

The first was incredible and the service was just lovely. The people who work here are so sweet and kind. We are only in town a few days, so I had to try everything. The wings are SO CRUNCHY, the dipping sauces are delicious, and it was just perfect. The Philly cheesesteak rolls might have been my favorite item, though we did inhale a chili cheese dog before we took the rest of the food to the car. They make their own meat and cheese, which makes this place extra special. The r'ibz were very good and the Brussels sprouts were perfect. I love the pasta dishes as well. The burger definitely scratches a fast food itch. I don't know what else to say. It's delicious and you should come here regardless of whether you're vegan.

I've been wanting to try this place for a few months and man I'm so glad I had the opportunity to stop in today! There is seating inside the restaurant however, We ended up eating in the car (I'm pregnant and a little sensitive to various food smells) they brought our smoothies and food out separately so everything was fresh, and the rigtt he temperature which was really nice. I ordered the loaded chili dog with Mac n cheese and fruit salad. The chili dog was so delicious it had like bbq style baked beans on it as well as traditional chili beans and the chili dog had like a breakfast type sausage with a hint of maple idk it was mf delicious. The Mac n cheese was also pretty good and well seasoned. My husband got the wings with Mac and cheese and fried okra. Okay the fried okra was soooo good! Still crispy and fresh at the same time! Husband said the wings and Mac and cheese were also good. (This means a lot as he is NOT vegan) We also got smoothies I really enjoyed the dragonfruit smoothie and hubby is enjoying the tropical. I wish they had seamoss but they were out today. The woman helping us was so helpful and kind! She was very knowledgeable about their menu and did not hesitate to make recommendations. She was so good at her job we nearly got dessert also! Because we ended up eating in the car she even came back out to check on us which was really sweet.

Extremely disappointed. Should've read more reviews before ever coming here in the first place. The way the owner responds to the negative reviews is a HUGE telling of what kind of business he runs. So sad to see a small business treat their customers this way. My first visit there was pretty good. The owner was overly friendly and convinced me to get the meal plan, saying they do delivery and I'd just have to place our first order by June 13th. Placed my first order and they kept changing the delivery day and changed the delivery time to an hour later when we were already on our way THEN ended up being 30 min late to the delivery spot in Aiken. On top of that they also decided to mention a hefty $20 delivery fee super last minute right before delivery. The meals were ok but they had a bunch of greens under everything to make it look like you were getting more food than you actually were. The second time I ordered the meal I decided to pick it up. I got there 10 minutes early and went inside just to let them know I was there and one of the employees had an attitude about me being "way too early". Tried to place my final meal last night. This morning I was told the meal plan had "expired June 13th" and that this was mentioned in an email I got. Maybe I should've read the fine print better but I already fully paid for the plan so I should either get my last meal or get refunded right? Nope. After messaging with the owner for a couple minutes he called me. He was immediately super rude and defensive. He kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me speak. I never once raised my voice or was rude with him. I spoke to him like a human being but he just talked down at me and ended up getting himself riled up and just hanging up on me. Seems to me like he knows what he's doing is shady. Even if the food was a 10 (which it wasn't) I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Extremely scummy and shady behavior and the owner has no problem fully stealing money from his trusting customers even after they've spent $200+. I should've known this after he bribed me into leaving a good review during my first visit. He's probably going to respond saying I'm lying or something like he does to all the other negative reviews but just take a look at them a decide for yourself.

We decided to try The Reizod Vegan Experience while we were driving through Columbia. Don't be fooled by the tinted windows and dark exterior. We arrived and I called to make sure they were open and they opened in 10 minutes. So glad we waited! Inside is a small dining room with 5 or 6 tables. Louis came over and asked if we had any questions and made the suggestion to get the spring rolls as an appetizer since the food would take 25-30 minutes. They were delicious! The food was amazing! My whole family of 4 are vegan and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! We had the burger, chicken Alfredo, jerk chicken and the chicken sandwich. The sides are epic! Collard greens, veggies, plantains, Mac n cheese and roasted potatoes. Everything is made to order, so this is not fast food. If you have the time, go here! Or place an order and pick it up to go. You won't be disappointed! Louis made sure we enjoyed the food and was very thankful that we stopped by!

The food here does not disappoint. I am not easily impressed with Vegan Food. The food is well seasoned. Presentation is great and the service is amazing! The restaurant is clean. I would recommend this hands down over many other places I have eaten. I definitely plan to return.

Good food that you really forget it's vegan. However, the downside is the extended wait times for orders and the slightly hefty price tag. Despite these drawbacks, the staff is notably friendly, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. With a focus on quicker service and perhaps a review of pricing, Reizod could easily elevate its status.

As a non-vegan, I can genuinely say food is amazing! It takes a while to come out, but that's because everything is prepared fresh. I had the wings, Philly cheesesteak and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Definitely, will be returning.

Today was my first time trying this and it was SO GOOD. I'm a on and off again vegan and would truly classify myself as a pescatarian that sometimes eats chicken lol. I haven't touched red meat in over 7 years. The "lamb" gyro tasted so realistic. The texture of the "lamb" was on point, and the portion size was wonderful. I recommend getting it "spicy". I believe they add extra seasoning this way and that was one of my concerns after reading reviews. The bowtie Mac and cheese is the best vegan one I've found in Columbia. I just wish the sauce were a bit thicker. & lastly, the Brussel sprouts were tasty! The employee that brought the food to me was so helpful and nice. I will be going back to them to try more foods soon!

This food is amazing. I really love the experience it makes me appreciate how different herbs can make the food taste better. I really have no complaints. I don't mind waiting for fresh FOOD...and hot when arrive. It makes you feel better not heavy and gassy like other restaurants. Keep up the good work. Ahh, I also tried the "tonics" oh my goodness. I feel a lot BETTER than before.

What a great little vegan restaurant with raw vegan options and fresh juice! Stopped by while traveling through the area to get gas and walk my dog and found this gem. Fresh and delicious. Was so glad to find a healthy food option.

RVE is by far the best vegan experience in northeast columbia, if not the entire midlands. the food is super flavorful and there's tons of variety. everything from their take a gyro to the hibachi plate, you can count on the food being made fresh to order and being packed with flavor. the only knock on this place is the wait time. since everything is made to order you'll wait, even if you call ahead or order in advance. with that being said, the food is definitely worth the wait , if you have the time.

Would definitely recommend trying out. I was nervous at first because I'm not vegan but the taste was great 10/10.

The Food, The Service, The Chill Vibe music gave a great experience! This was my first time visiting Reizod and it was truly my best dine in experience in Columbia SC. Coming from Charlotte it was a joy Being able to come to a vegan food cuisine spot. the flavors are so out of this world that it's the best vegan food I've had to date! The Hibachi, greens, and Mac n cheese had my inner child leaping for joy! Sign me up for your meal plan please!

My family and I were in Columbia visiting USC Columbia as I am looking for a prospective school to study psychology and counseling in particular. We decided upon this restaurant, and we were very satisfied. My youngest son (of 2) got the gyro and man, it brought me back to NYC back in 2013 getting a green gyro from a city vendor. Well done and vegan?!? What more could you ask for. The wings were awesome, and the Mac and cheese was authentic. I would definitely recommend and am thankful Creator brought us here to be able to visit. Due to their high ratings and good food, they are a bit busy but it is worth the wait!

Man listen... this may be hands down the best that I've had.. I ordered three different meals due to traveling and wanted to make sure that I'd have enough to eat. EVERYTHING and I mean everything was superb. I haven't gotten through everything just yet but I'm sure the rest will be just as satisfying. One thing to take note of.. please call ahead to place your order or you will wait a while for your food. May be Aa bit pricey for some but I'm used to it by being vegan.

Great vegan food, lots of variety. Very Friendly Service. Small place with indoor seating. You have to try it! I loved the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich (vegan of course). Looking forward to having a location in Greenville.

Highly recommend. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is superior! Came across this place while looking for some vegan options in Columbia. So happy I tried it. Chef Lou and his team are amazing! Great customer service and such great energy. They are very confident in the taste of their food and I don't blame them. Everything was amazing down to the smoothie and milkshakes. We started out with a dragonfruit smoothie and chocolate milkshake along with the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. Delicious, there was so much flavor and you can tell everything was freshly made. We even got a complimentary side of chips and salsa! I love the salsa, it had kind of a sweet taste to it. For our entree we had the chicken hibachi, and the bbq wings with a side of macaroni and mixed veggies. The portions were hefty! Definitely enough for leftovers later. Everything had such great flavor and was seasoned to perfection. The inside was very chill and nicely decorated with safari themed art on the walls. They even offer meal plans at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this place and will be back when I come and visit home again!

Today was my first time trying them. I gave them three stars because I got the lemon pepper wings but they have no seasoning. The macaroni and cheese is good and the cabbage is good. I haven't tried my cheesecake yet. I will probably try them again and just not request lemon pepper flavor because it is no flavor. It's just fried.

Came to this place with my husband and was not let down. I'm a new found vegan and this place set the bar pretty high for my journey! 10 out of 10 best vegan place in Columbia sc!!

Holy Moly! Lunch here was incredible. I've been following them on social media and wanting to try it. Did. Not. Disappoint. We will be back. My husband had the experience burger with fries and mac n cheese. I had the Friday soul food (on a Saturday) which included teriyaki chicken over rice with collard greens and fried okra. The teriyaki tasted more like barbecue to me, but it was still delicious. We also had spring rolls and ended with a cookie dough milkshake. All Vegan! Ordering things like food with mayo and a milkshake are so out of my vocabulary. So refreshing to order ANYthing on a menu. Thanks for a great meal.

The food tastes amazing however you will have to wait an outrageous amount of time. Ordered at the counter at 2:10 was told the wait was 25 minutes. We were dining in at one of the 3 tables in the establishment. When we placed the order told the cashier 2 waters. Apparently she missed that tidbit of information although we discussed the drink options of fresh juice and said we'd have water for both. Food arrived to table at 308 (yes almost 1 hour later) asked cashier who is also waitress for water she says some ridiculous price of $4.58 because she didn't ring it when the order was placed. We paid $56 for 2 entrees and appetizer that we had to wait approximately an hour to eat and no the appetizer did not come out before the lunch items. Next time I'll place my order when I'm leaving Charlotte and pray it's ready by the time I arrive. Food a strong 4.5 service/experience 1.5.

Patience is richly rewarded!! We first tried to get in here, but couldn't make it work so we came right back they next day at opening time and are really glad we did! It's not a big place, tucked away in a strip mall right on Two Notch Road. The food here is spectacular, as the steady stream of patrons demonstrates! We had a breakfast burrito and jambalaya (yes, they have an extensive menu), and they were incredible! Great tasting, reasonably priced, and good size portions all carefully made to order. If we lived here, we'd be by multiple times per week!! Yes, it is vegan, but that's just a bonus that the food is all organic and better for you and the environment. Good food is good food, and this is it!

Food is amazing and I love the fact that they do not use soy! The owner was very nice and ordering was a breeze, although we did have to wait a bit for the food to be prepped as it's made to order, which was fine. I'll certainly be back while I'm in town!

This was my first time at the restaurant. I noticed they had different times for serving so we got the around 1:45.. The restaurant was empty except for two ladies ordering takeout and one lady and child looking like they were about done. Beautiful hostess nice atmosphere so we decided to eat in. She came right over asked if it was it first time so she took her time answering questions. Finally ordered about 1:52ish. The appetizer came about 2:20ish. Food came about 10-12 minutes later. So we waited over 30 minutes for our meal but BABY when it came it was STEAMING HOT and SO DAMN GOOD! EVERYTHING!!! My daughter who is a non vegan/ vegan tore that experience burger up! She said the collard greens were everything! We would DEFINITELY return and we live 90 minutes away but I will call and order ahead so our wait time won't be so much. DEFINITELY ORDER AHEAD, You won't be disappointed

This is the most delicious vegan food in Columbia!!! Try the gyros or the bbq chicken wings

Wow. Another Black owned and operated vegan spot in Columbia! Yes! I dropped in with friends after a meeting in the area. Overall we had a good experience because we were not in a hurry, but the initial service we received almost made us want to leave. We were seated, but not ever greeted. We saw three different parties get up to leave before getting their food for a variety of reasons. The server didn't take the time to explain the menu until one of us ordered something that wasn't available. It seemed there was only one server for the entire restaurant and business may have suffered because she was overwhelmed. They lost a star here. We were in the restaurant at least 1.5 hours. Way too long for a casual lunch for three people. All that being said, another server/chef/manager came out to apologize for our wait and offered us a complementary appetizer. That satisfied us. We ordered the burgers, breakfast special, and sides of mac and cheese. The soy free burger was delicious. It is definitely worth a return trip. I have tried and tried to like vegan mac and cheese...it was ok and I did eat all of it, but I won't order it again. After we ate, we were told if we wanted to add any spices to the meal they would do so upon request. They try to keep their food prep as natural as possible without adding salt and spices. I wish I'd known, I would have had them spice up my bean and not cheese dip. If I'm back this way again, I will definitely stop by. I'll likely call ahead first though.

I'm far from vegan but this is definitely the place that could persuade me to be (if I was persuadable). I don't have much to compare it to, but it was THE. EGAN EXPERIENCE. First impressions: clean, spacious, well laid out, and excellent music in the background. I was greeted upon entering and found a table while waiting to meet a friend for lunch. Patrice (the lady working the register with the cool dreads) was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menus. She also gave solid recommendations when I told her I've never had a vegan experience. But even more importantly: the food. I stopped midway of eating my jerk "chicken" because the texture and taste were so similar that it HAD to be chicken...but it wasn't. Also, the HOT WINGS are a must-try if you're a regular wing connoisseur. You too may be pleasantly surprised.

Enjoyed my experience. I didn't know I was missing out on such good food. It's great to know I don't have to give up flavorful foods for sake of being healthy. I tried a veggie plate, greens, cabbage, Mac & cheese... and the experience burger to take home (may not make it home). The customer service is superb.
