Richfield Coffee in Richmond is a delightful spot with relaxing outdoor seating. Their coffee is rich and well-balanced. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they went the extra mile to accommodate my sandwich for a vegetarian option. Thank you Celeste! The pastries are delicious, especially the flaky croissants and the banana bread. Highly recommended for a great outdoor coffee experience.

Totally delightful and delicious. GREAT coffee. They have tea latte (London fog) on the menu and unlike most cafes in the city, know to steep the tea properly before adding the milk. (And they don’t leave an overstuffed tea bag in it!). Highly recommend. They also recently started making homemade small pies that are TO DIE FOR. Thanks for being such a great neighborhood spot! We love it here!

started coming here because my brother put me on with it for the most part. The people working there are nice every now and then someone has an attitude, but I’m assuming it’s just Monday mornings.. what really catches me off guard is when I leave and my drink is lukewarm cold, what’s the point in getting a hot drink when it’s not even Hot. My order: Matcha w oat milk some sweetener

The coffee here is outstanding, but the breakfast sandwich was extremely underwhelming. Barely any sauce or toppings, they also didn’t have any hot sauce. I’d personally skip that and stick to the drinks which are awesome. Didn’t try the pastries but I’m sure they are better. Only had outdoor seating, but it was still a vibe when sunny.

Tiny gem of a coffee shop, just a block or two away from Clement Street in the Inner Richmond. The interior is well designed and theme with boxing memorabilia and the exterior has plenty of cute tables to enjoy a nice brew. One of my favorite places to stop before going into work 🤓

The spam musubi’s in the morning are the best. Love the Chia pudding.

Here's a delightful corner cafe serving the locals. Takeout only, one park bench outside, alas, occupied. No matter, too cold this morning, ate in my car. 9:30am on a Saturday I drove past several purveyors of avocado toast. Alas, every place I passed had a long line. Smaller line here & it shortened rapidly. Orders appear at the window around the corner. Help yourself to napkins, etc. I ordered tea and avocado toast with fried egg on top. I asked for the bread to be toasted. It was not. (Why call it toast?). The yummy bread comes from a bakery in Pacifica. I asked that the egg not be too runny. The top had runny, clear, obviously uncooked egg white. I let it slide off & ate the cooked part. Avocado mash generous, creamy goodness, sprinkled with seeds & chili flakes. More chili please. I'm giving them a pass on my order, as the super friendly staff was clearly slammed. The Richfield deserves another visit on a weekday. I'm sure the results will be much better. This is a place you can roll up to with your dog, counted 5 on my visit. Parking difficult, most people walked here from their nearby homes and appeared to know each other. In closing, worth a visit. After some food coma from lunch, we needed a good coffee fix. The Richfield popped up in our search with promising reviews and it was closeby so we gave it a go! Coming from Clement, it's around the corner and initially hard to spot but with a take out window and some merch hanging outside, we spotted it. There were a few tables outside for you to sit while ordering it done by a takeout window. The coffee really hit the spot with a good balance of coffee to milk to sweetness. Really appreciated how local this place felt as well. Recommend: Cafecito Brevano

I used to be a big fan of this place, and would send my friends here all the time, but my most recent interactions have been super disappointing. The coffee drinks have become super watery and bitter. just. not. good. I gave my feedback to one of the employees, and she said that it could've have been watery because sometimes the espresso machine misbehaves. And the bitterness might be because they switched coffee brands. She didn't offer to remake it, or to try to rectify the situation in any way. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 1 is because of the years of great coffee I've had here before. Please, please return to your previous level of quality! You might need to change roasters, but please do.

I absolutely loved the spot where this cafe is located! It's on a tiny intermittent junction between two busy streets and the appeal is soooo good! They serve Proyecto coffee which in my opinion wasn't dark enough (and mind me I have given it multiple tries at other places too). In addition to coffee, they have a few pastries and musubi on their menu. Although not for the coffee, but I will certainly go back just to sink in the vibe of the location :)

Bagel is decent, maybe a 6.5 out of 10, but by god they make the worst iced matcha latte I've ever drank in my life. It is soooo watery, and I ordered mine with whole milk! I even had to ask the barista to add more milk to which she tried to push back saying that this was the max they could give for a 12 ounce drink. I explained that it was watery and she went ahead and added more whole milk. I tried it again and somehow it's still so bad. I then let my partner try it without any context or prompting and his immediate response was "that's completely awful." Big yikes, do NOT order a matcha latte from here.

Cute spot, quick service, came for a bfast sando - Brekkie was good. Feel like so many these days are too much or messy or overkill or just simply not very good. Simple but tasty - the toasted Hawaiian bread was a nice contrast

This building was an insurance building. It's a nice little place to sell coffee. TGTG got me here. I got a coffee and it smelled and taste very fresh. It reminded me of drinking coffee from a coffee farm. I will come back to taste their spice ginger chai. Their pastries are selling out. They have laundromat bagels and they are the best bagels Reading someone's review, please get extra cream cheese. This is a huge bagel and requires super Size cream cheese.

I love when I accidentally stumble across a good coffee! We were on our way to Green Apple Books and the Clement Street Farmers Market down the block when I saw a bunch of people waiting on the corner of this little shop. It's just an window/counter that you order at, with no indoors. There is a bench to wait for your drinks. They use Snowbird Coffee and I enjoyed my cappuccino and my husband enjoyed his Ethiopia pourover. We didn't try anything else, but they have some pastries, along with musubis which seemed random! Service was fine and the drinks were pretty fast. Will be back when we return for the farmer's market!

So happy to finally make it here to support small business owners who are also raising young kids in the City. If you wanna support local, this is definitely the spot. Make them part of your wolf pack as they are mine. Standout hit was the banana bread!!! Holy $hit! I was fighting with my own kids over it because there was only one left! We will have to order an entire loaf, which apparently you can do! Pre orders only for the full loaves. You can pre order the loaves in person or find them on Instagram. The bear claw was also delicious and super cute. The hot chocolate was perfect, not too sweet. We also enjoyed the Hawaiian spicy Chai and the flat white. I love how the flat white was automatically non-American sized. For those of you who have been to the Oz/NZ region, you know what I'm talking about. Can't wait to try their sandwiches and other breakfast items.

Great breakfast sandwich, chose the Hawaiian bread and added avocado and kimchi. Was also worried the Spaniard latte was going to be too sweet, but got it with unsweetened almond milk and it wasn't sweet at all. I also wanted to try the banana bread when I saw it posted as a sign on the window but they said they sold out and I'd have to come early next time. Must be good, will def be back.

Came here for breakfast on 8/2 and was really excited to see they carried laundromat bagels. We got a bagel, breakfast sandwich, smoothie and latte. When I went to eat my bagel, I noticed there was hardly any cream cheese on it. I politely asked the woman working if I could have an extra side of cream cheese since there wasn't much on the bagel (see photo) and she told me that's just what the serving size was and I'd have to pay for an extra side. I totally understand that food costs are high- my husband runs a bar- but it felt really unnecessary for me to have to pull out my card to pay 25 cents for Philadelphia brand cream cheese after we'd just spent $35 and tipped 20%. It was a weird interaction that soured my first experience there so I'm not sure we will go back. Bummer.

3.5 STARS Hōji feen here! If you're one too, then you know how hard it is to find a good Hōji Latte. Sure, there's Blue Bottle but when I can, I rather support a small mom and pop shop. In between medical appointments, I made a point to stop by The Richfield because I saw they have Hōji Latte on the menu. FYI, their business hours on Yelp is not accurate. It was closed the first time I visited. Tried again, a week later and they were open. The Richfield is a compact coffee shop open for takeout only. There's a handful of outdoor tables on the side so you can enjoy your cup of coffee/tea. Not a large menu but such quaint neighborhood coffee shop with quick yummy bites. Love that they had spam musubi for sale. We all got the Brekkie sandwich but with different bread options. I got the Hawaiian bread, my husband got the Texas Toast, my daughter and her bf got the Laundrymat Everything bagel. Apparently the Laundrymat bagels are very good. We all enjoyed the sandwich and it was plenty for those of us with average appetites. I really enjoyed their hot sauce and wish I had gotten the Kim Chi on mine too! The hojicha lattes are very good. Sorry, forgot to take photos of the food. The service was swift and kind. There really is no seating other than a few outdoor tables.

Cute neighborhood coffee shop! Friendly staff and good vibes. Came late, so a lot of stuff was out since the kitchen closes 30 min before. The chia pudding is so yummy! 10/10 recommend. It's creamy, lightly sweet, and full of juicy fresh blueberries and raspberries.

Always have love their coffee, but never liked their hours(especially the inconsistency). I'm sure a lot of that had to do with reopening woes, but now that they are saying that they'll be open until 3 every day I'll definitely start coming here more. They have solid, but limited food options. Enough to satisfy when you are trying to get food and coffee in a twofer stop. The star is really the coffee. They have the most consistently great coffee in the hood. Their baristas are top notch!

I have been coming to The Richfield for a long time. It's one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood, and everyone there is super nice. I love their hojicha latte and iced chai. And of course, their banana bread is amazing. It's one of my favorite snacks to get right before a road trip!

My boyfriend and I love coming to the Richfield on Sunday mornings! Great coffee, super nice staff, and cute corner. Highly recommend the spam masubi too :)

Why are you serving 1/2 cups of coffee for $6? Was excited to choose the pour over until receiving a 2/3 cup of a small coffee. I don't want a Venti but I do expect a large. And a full cup.

A staple for us on weekend mornings! They have laundromat bagels..... and their coffee is killer. My favorite is the Brevato, a honey coffee supreme sipper. The service is a little slow, just means they are taking their time making yummy coffees!!

I'm obsessed with the coffee shop. Not only is it good coffee, but they serve as a great neighborhood Pilar of community. Everyone is so friendly and it does seem like the "neighborhood coffee shop." Each time the employees are chatting with customers like friends. It's right around the corner from my yoga studio, Folk, and I stop by after each class. They also serve Laundromat bagels which seems like something I should gate-keep ! So lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

From a Too Good To Go order we got leftover slices of bread and their crusts and stale bagels...

this place is STINGYYYYY. they're not clear about the size of their ice drinks. so you ask for a drink--iced; you recieve it; it's not filled all the way "could i please get it topped off?"; that's the standard for the drink... okay.. so there are different sizes??? why not use different cups reflecting the correct size? vs not filling up a cup you're passing out?? or ask what size the customer wants? less than an inch to be topped off but i have to pay an extra $1.25 for it? wild. seen a review from someone who barely got any cream cheese on their bagel yet was asked to pay for more even though there was literally.. no .. cream cheese.. on that bagel lmao the baristas are really nice so yeah.

Came and tried the Brevano and wow was it good. It's small (6 oz) but mighty. I really liked the floral afternotes from the addition of wildflower honey. As for the drink itself, it was made well with a velvety foam top. On a particularly nippy morning, it was also nice to hug this cup between my hands as I continued my way through inner Richmond.

This a really cute space to get a beverage & a bite to eat, with the nicest staff. The location is great for those living in the Richmond who want get a quality beverage, and maybe something to eat as they start their day. This midday I had an Oat Milk Coffee that was so pretty, though my mind was more on getting a lid on the cup to prevent spillage then an Instagram moment :) For something to Eat I had, a really Large Bran Muffin, plus a Yummy Pretzel. The Muffin was moist, and deeply satisfying, I prefer when a muffin is not cloyingly sweet. As for the Pretzel it just needed a 30 second burst in the microwave to come alive and was perfect with a cup of tea. This Richfield also does breakfast sandwiches, and a variety of beverages, if able support local businesses.

We needed coffee and this was the closest spot . We found parking on the street. It's a little coffee spot you walk up to one window and order. They didn't have any flavor like vanilla and hazelnut. So we just got plain lattes. I ordered a small and a large. Was charged and given two large. It took a while to get my coffee. You can get sugar packets on the side on a little table. The coffee was ok I just wish there was more flavor.

4.5 stars. Great coffee/breakfast pastry spot. Never been here before the pandemic, so I have never sat inside this little coffee shop. I like it though. Friendly staff. Also I'm slightly biased because I also like their cute varsity themed namesake stickers that they occasionally give out. Love stickers.

Low-Key but amazing local neighborhood Coffee spot. Like a miniturized Flat-iron building, it occupies a tiny concrete island in the middle far away from the normal hustle and bustle of Inner Richmond. We come here whenever the line at Ariscault makes us sad and we want an early morning pastry and coffee fix. The wait is never too long though parking can be pretty hard to find. Richfield is named after the Coliseum where boxing underdog Chuck Wepner knocked Ali down, it was the fight that inspired Rocky and it's the reason why there are boxing decorations on the interior. The coffee and food meets the very high bar for San Francisco quality. The cappuccino was amazing with perfectly frothed milk and wonderful poured coffee, I'm sure hidden in all the foam is a delicious crema layer. "Brekkie Sandwich": folded omelette, melted Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, special house sauce, on King's Hawai'ian toast. Delicious, shared this with my wife. Kid loved the Ham and Cheese croissant.

3.5-Cute cafe in the middle of the crossroads with decent coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The teal outdoor seating sets enticed me to stay. I tried the Spaniard, described as a latte with condensed milk. Tasted like a latte, didn't taste the condensed milk. The breakfast sandwich was $8 with egg, bacon, tomato, and sauce that tasted like mustard. Tasted good but kinda pricey for what it was. Overall, cute spot to catch up with a friend for decent coffee and a bite.

This is a tough one to write because I really want to like the Richfield. BUT the one thing everyone should know is they are extremely slow getting anything out that window besides cold brew. And the cold brew comes from snowbird coffee in sunset. If you want to try a sandwich, make sure you have at least 15 minutes to wait. This past time I went, they completely forgot about my sandwich and had me waiting for 15-20 minutes before I had to find out it was never coming. Extremely disappointed. the sandwiches are pretty good too but expensive for eggs on toast. Try at your own risk

Went to search for some coffee and this was a spot on California which seemed interesting to try. I ordered the Mocha and it was a good wake up boost. The taste was good and strong.

So far so good! I had wanted to try the coffee here as I see crowds including the SFFD...and then one recent morning when I badly needed a charge parking was suddenly available and I got my coffee! Seating areas are always nice but that is not what The Richfield is about, at least not now.

Amazing coffee, friendly service, and reasonable prices! This is my new go to for coffee and I'm picky. Cannot recommend enough!

Small coffee stand with delicious coffee and friendly service! I got an oat milk Cortado and three pastries through too good to go and I'll definitely be coming back :) highly recommend!

I used to come here to buy laundromat bagels but the quality control is consistently terrible. I would buy a bag of bagels advertised as fresh (4 for $10) but they turned out to be stale day old bagels. I would be fine buying the day old bagels (which they used to charge 4 for $5) but the employees don't even know what bagels are fresh or not unless they ask the owner. And most of the time they do not ask and it's a bagel roulette situation. Today they tried to charge me $20 for a bag of supposedly day old bagels! Turns out when I got the bagels they were two days old because they were labeled 4/20. I'm so fed up with the terrible service.... Especially now that they are doubling prices for stale bagels I feel silly for not learning my lesson earlier. Two weeks ago, when we asked for fresh bagels with cream cheese, the employee put two dabs of cream cheese.... Excuse me you are charging $5 for this??? Sadly I think I need to drive out to the actual Laundromat bagels in outer Richmond to get my bagel fix.

Second day in a row of getting a cup of bitter milk passed off as iced coffee. Lots of people outside, good reviews, etc. Could be an off day, or just don't come here for coffee. My gfs iced coffee came out the same. I wouldn't come here again, unless I grabbed one of their snacks in passing. Extra annoying because this is the second time this has happened

Such a cute little shop in between California and Cornwall streets in the Richmond. I tried the Apollo - perfectly pulled espresso on top of sparkling water, with a bit of simple syrup. It's the refreshing midday pick-me-up you didn't know you needed! Staff was VERY friendly and just good vibes on this nice and sunny SF day all around.... Apparently they usually have toast, but not right now. I'll be back to try another specialty coffee + toast next time!

I frequent this cute corner cafe on a weekly basis. The drinks are always great and if you're lucky you'll catch them when they've just put out their spam musubi. The staff is also always super pleasant. Recommend coming here on a nice weekend morning then walking over to Clemente street to cruise around Green Apple bookstore.

Their lattes are really good and the staff is delightful, but I got to do a specific shoutout on their chocolate chip banana bread. It's perfect. You have to try it, just don't take the last piece or my wife will be super disappointed.

Was lured in by the line on a Sunday morning while in the area. My bf got the Spaniard (latte w/ condensed milk) and I got an oat latte. The latte was pretty average tasting, and the Spaniard tasted almost exactly like my plain latte. I was pretty disappointed since I had high expectations from all the great reviews. Not sure if I visited on an off day, but there is definitely plenty of better coffee in the city!

I love this little spot for a morning pick me up! I stopped by for a chai latte and some banana bread, and both hit the spot. Good prices, friendly staff, and delicious drinks/breads!

Super sad/disappointing - they have DISCONTINUED the ricotta toast. (they said they were replacing it with something soon. Service was painfully slow. looks like the avocado is smashed to order - which maybe I would enjoy - but since they get an order for it every other customer - maybe make a batch for 15 toasts, then start again - it would still be super fresh - but faster. We ordered the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich (it was light on bacon - maybe 1.5 slices), a chai and a mocha. It was about $25. we left hungry. The water glasses could be used as thimbles - seriously I have never seen smaller glasses.

We tried. Twice. The pour over is such a great way to taste coffee which is why we chose this location. Lots of places to drink coffee within a short walk of here but none which make excellent coffee. So here we go; Ordered a pour over ($4.50) and mentioned that's the best way to enjoy beans and was looking forward to a coffee that was not weak. Upon seeing it being made I immediately reached out to another employee and told him that we were concerned about it being too weak (as it did not look like coffee but more like a tea). He said he'd "take care of it". That didn't happen. I ended up with cup of lightly flavored water. The hunt continues.

Adorable sidewalk coffee window. They offer delicious bagels from the Laundromat as well as breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Friendly service. No indoor seating, but some sidewalk tables.

Such a great neighborhood coffee shop! I always get an oat milk latte and the chocolate chip banana bread. it's the perfect weekend breakfast. The staff is super friendly and the line is never too long - even on the weekends!
