"From the team behind Carousel, The Ripple Room is another large bar that's good for a lot different things. On the Lower East Side, the two-floor bar works just as well for a quick drink before a show at the Bowery Ballroom as it does for a big night out. Downstairs, you’ll find a loungy space with booths full of people who've recently graduated from Ray’s, throwing back $10 beer/shot combos and strong yuzu daquiris. Once those drinks have had their effect, you can head upstairs to the more club-like area—where there’s just enough elbow room to dance your heart out to some thumping music without endangering those around you.
