A Truly Exceptional 9-Day Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, ChengduWe recently spent 9 days and 8 nights at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.The service at the Club Lounge was outstanding—warm, personalized, and consistently attentive. Jacey, Jasmine, Cathy, Ricky, and Ann truly made our stay memorable. They not only greeted us by name but also remembered our usual preferences, making each visit to the lounge feel special and welcoming. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality stood out every single day.We also want to highlight the efficiency of the room service reception and room service team, who were consistently swift and responsive in attending to our requests. Whether it was a simple need or a last-minute call, the service was prompt and courteous every time.A big thank you as well to the concierge team for handling our transport needs so smoothly. Special thanks to Evan, who went above and beyond to help us secure entrance tickets to the Panda Research Base when we had trouble booking it ourselves.There were many other team members who contributed to making our stay comfortable—even though we didn’t manage to get everyone’s names, we sincerely appreciate their dedication.Thank you to the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu for making our visit so enjoyable and seamless. We truly look forward to returning again in the future.

Last year, I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and what an amazing experience it has been. The rooms were clean, big and had a nice view of the city. The Pool and Spa area was never crowded and well staffed as well. What really made the experience special, was the excellent service that the staff provided, from helping us plan our travel itinerary, offering us drinks at the hotel bar, and helping us whenever needed. Also I can recommend the breakfast that offers a huge variety ranging from western to Chinese options, pastries, and fruits. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcomed on our first night in China, and I hope to be back at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu soon!

Recently returned from a wonderful stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. I got a good first impression right from my dealings with the reservations & concierge team (especially Jamie in reservations and Evan on the concierge desk) who answered all of my emails promptly and efficiently in very good English.||Our airport pick-up was smooth, and we were greeted at the hotel entrance by the Guest Services team, who gave us refresher towels and tea. Cherry in particular was excellent and completed all the check-in formalities in our room.||We had booked a King City View Suite and it was massive. Classically and luxuriously appointed, there was a spacious entry hall, huge living area with dining table, sofa and armchairs, and we also had a rollaway bed set up in there - and still felt like we had so much space! There was also a small washlet with toilet and basin.||Leading off from there was a closet/powder room and then the huge master bedroom with equally large marble bathroom. The bathroom had a separate toilet cubicle (with Toto toilet), a gigantic vanity with twin basins and ample storage space underneath, a large bath and separate shower cubicle. I loved the pale marble and the natural light coming in from all the windows (there were motorised shades for privacy).||The king bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and in general I loved how much space there was throughout the entire suite, not to mention the numerous floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed a lot of light in.||We tried the room service for breakfast and dinner several times, and both the Western and Asian options were all excellent. Good quality and good serves. Every staff member who came to deliver it was very professional and friendly.||Each night there would be a turndown service with generous bowls of chocolate made using Sichuan ingredients. And on our last night they even delivered a large panda dessert made of white chocolate. I would particularly like to mention Mamie, who came several nights and was very friendly and kind.||The entire hotel, from the lobby to the corridors and the rooms themselves, is spotless, and housekeeping is meticulous.||In terms of location, it is a few blocks from Tianfu Square, which are easily walkable, but we ended up using Didi to get everywhere we needed to go. There is apparently also a metro about a 10-minute walk away but we did not use it.||In summary, we had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton Chengdu. It offered exceptional value for 5-star luxury. Top service, great staff, immaculate property. Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Chengdu.

The staff embodies true hospitality, and we especially recommend witnessing the traditional tea show at reception, held daily at 17:00 - it’s a beautiful and memorable experience. Our room was elegant and refined, featuring luxurious touches such as a marble bathroom floor. Housekeeping was flawless throughout our stay - every detail was meticulously taken care of. As club room guests, we made full use of the Club Lounge, which exceeded our expectations. The afternoon food service (starting at 17:00) provided a wonderful opportunity to sample regional specialties and immerse ourselves in local flavors. The evening cocktail hour was equally delightful, featuring a live mixology performance. We’d like to express our heartfelt thanks to our server, Cathy, and the cocktail master for their warm, attentive service. The hotel’s SPA and wellness area were also top-tier. We particularly enjoyed the serene atmosphere of the sauna and jacuzzi, which offered a peaceful escape after long days of exploring the city.||||This was a flawless stay and a clear highlight of our trip. Our sincere thanks to the entire team at the hotel for creating such a memorable experience.

We had a perfect stay at The Ritz Carlton Chengdu with an executive room and lounge access. Everything was excellent from start to finish. ||The check in was smooth and welcoming. The staff throughout the hotel were professional and kind. Breakfast offered great variety and quality. The executive lounge was a peaceful retreat with excellent service. ||Our room was spacious clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. ||Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon. ||10 out of 10 experience.

Decent location with night food street nearby. Convenient store right below. Room and lobby carries old luxury vibes. Overall non smoking room is free from smoke smell except for 1 of the nights. Considered quite good. Only downside is the switching of lifts to access to room.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. All staff are nice and helpful, especially those at the Executive Lounge. The food at the Lounge is very delicious and the chef can prepare our dishes according to our needs. However it is a bit far from the nearby shopping areas, a 20-25 mins walk is needed.We will choose this hotel again if we visit Chengdu again in future.

Our room had breathtaking city views, a spacious marble bathroom, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The amenities, including the indoor heated pool, the luxurious spa, and the state-of-the-art fitness center, exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for the best luxury hotel in Chengdu, The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu should be your first choice. Whether you are visiting for business, family travel, a romantic getaway, or simply to explore Sichuan culture, this five-star hotel delivers an experience that is second to none. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and beautiful ambiance truly set it apart from other luxury hotels in Chengdu.
