The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

A few days ago, we returned from an excellent family vacation in Doha. We were parents with two children (ages 3 and 6). As always, the Ritz-Carlton did not disappoint. The service provided by the staff at all levels was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We had a half-board package, so besides breakfast, we enjoyed a different themed dinner every evening. We spent our days on the pleasant and private beach, which was very calm. We would like to mention the perfect care and friendliness of everyone working there: Mr. Rakibul, Mobeen, Emdad, Shahab, Jahir, Nacer, Abdulaziz, and Brandon (names listed in random order). We felt very comfortable there and truly appreciated their professionalism, friendly attitude, and casual conversations. The same applies to the restaurant staff, where we were most often and attentively looked after by Mr. Stefan, Eric, Wail, and Saad. Thank you for the soups for our children and for your overall helpfulness. In addition to the private beach, the hotel offers outdoor pools with a waterfall, but the biggest surprise was the indoor 25-meter swimming pool and the hot jacuzzi. We also want to thank the hotel for the room upgrade — we really enjoyed the extra space and the unique view of The Pearl. The hotel truly deserves its place among the top properties in Doha. The ride to the airport in the early morning, with minimal traffic, took only 25 minutes, and it’s just 15 minutes to the old town and 7 minutes to the Venice district. This convenience was another reason we loved the hotel — we could easily go into the city even on short notice. We are already planning our next vacation at this hotel for next year.

The hotel is beautiful. The interiors are aesthetic and rich. The staff is polite, helpful and courteous. The sports facilities are great. The gym houses one of the most extensive range of gym equipment compared to other Marriott properties in Doha. The swimming pool is min-Olympic size. The rooms are warm and the sea facing views were great. The private beach was good, although doesn’t gives a real sea feeling. But overall great experience.

We had a wonderful week at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. The hotel is perfectly located, the facilities are great, and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.||A special mention to Majid from the pool team, who truly made our stay exceptional. He was always attentive, making sure everything was perfect for us and our children.||We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt so welcome and staff could not do enough. We had a club room with lounge access and it is the best hotel lounge we have ever been too. The selection of food and drink offerings is fantastic, with a chef to cook you eggs how you like them for breakfast and we were there for the American Themed night which was also great. The view from the lounge overlooking the Marina was just outstanding and the staff in the lounge couldn't do enough for you. Drinks were constantly topped up without needing to ask!||The rooms are super clean and the view was stunning. It has everything you need including shampoo and conditioner, body wash etc (although I wasn't a fan of the smell but is personal taste). The ONLY negative is that we actually booked a Club Twin room but were allocated a King room. We arrived late at night and just went with it and it was fine. We chose not ask to change rooms.||The pool is fantastic as are the staff who work there. The 2 towels per person is great and the mini cool box with water is a nice touch. We were there mid-week and the pool was a relaxing calm area. As it got to Friday you could feel a different change in vibe with more locals and kids starting to arrive as is half term in the UK. It got very busy after 11am with few sunbeds left. So if you prefer a more relaxing day around the pool weekdays are better. The complimentary refreshing soft drink was also a lovely touch.||Overall an outstanding place to stay, is the height of luxury and a club room is definitely the best option to have the best luxurious stay. The average glass of wine is around £15 and Beer £10, so if you like a drink the club lounge provides great value.||Thank you...we will be back!

An exceptional stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and the attention to every detail. Every member of the staff — from the bar and restaurants to the concierge — stands out for their professionalism and genuine kindness. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. We had the pleasure of discovering several of the hotel’s restaurants, each offering a unique experience: • Sel & Miel: delicious French cuisine, generous and full of flavor, with outstanding desserts. • STK: impeccable service and an exceptional Tomahawk steak, perfectly cooked. • The Lagoon: an excellent breakfast buffet, varied and high-quality, always served with a smile. • B Lounge: a stunning setting for evening drinks, with an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. The pool staff also deserve special mention for their kindness and professionalism. Everything — from the service to the facilities — truly reflects the standards of a world-class five-star hotel. An unforgettable experience… I already can’t wait to return to Doha and stay again at The Ritz-Carlt Jeremy’s Jover & Detrez

Beautiful hotel and great service! The hand-off and attention are top notch and the food is very good as well. Eveyone greets you with a smile and there are so many flowers that leave a nice fragrance across the hotel. I was there for a conference and the space was big, comfortable and elegant. Highly recommend- A+++

It was just a short overnight stay at this hotel as we used Doha as a transit stop for our Qatar Airways flight home. Check-in was seamless and our room was very comfortable. We were welcomed by an array of edible goodies (fruit, dates candy etc) which was very much appreciated. The hotel can feel vast - everywhere you look you'll find marble. The public spaces are kept impeccably clean and tidy.
