The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

Just perfect hotel with perfect service. The restaurants and cafes at the hotel’s territory are really nice with interesting menu. Beach access and calm sea, awesome pools especially for kids. I’m so happy that I chose Ritz-Carlton and surely gonna come next time as well.

A truly amazing experience during a short stay. First and foremost, the staff. Every single interaction we had during the stay was exemplary. Everyone was just friendly and wanting to help, with no exceptions. The facilities themselves are outstanding. Beautiful reception area open plan with stairs down to the Laguna restaurant and French restaurant. We are only at the laguna and the food quality and variety was outstanding (and the staff again). Our room was a really good size. Bed was supremely comfortable and we had a balcony looking out to the marina. Pool area was outstanding and very cleverly done. One continous pool but split in a way to have differentiated sections for children and family vs adults. Sign in, complimentary sun creme and then have a towels setup for tour bed of choice along with a small cool box with water and ice! Wifi was pretty consistent throughout the facilities. Complete and utter recommend.

The hotel manages to balance different cultures sympathetic and there is something for everyone . |The spa and gym are the best I’ve ever seen at any hotel.|The only negative point I have is the price of drinks. £10 for a small bottle of run of the mill beer is a touch outrageous. |It’s no wonder the flamingo bar is the quietest place in the hotel. - reduction in prices would prove profitable.|However all in all the hotel and staff are excellent

I would like to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided during my recent stay at your hotel. I was very pleased that my requests for an early check-in, late check-out, and Friday breakfast instead of Saturday were accommodated so smoothly. Additionally, the thoughtful arrangements in the room — the roses, balloons, cake, and fruit platter — were a wonderful surprise and made our stay truly special. While I greatly value these positive experiences, I would also like to share a few observations that unfortunately affected our overall comfort. Firstly, the pool water did not appear to be properly cleaned, as there were visible oil residues and some unidentified particles floating on the surface. Secondly, as noted in your attached notice, there was a wedding event held during our stay. Unfortunately, the loud music from this event continued until around midnight, turning what was meant to be a relaxing evening in our room into quite a disturbance. Although the room you assigned to us had a beautiful view and location, the noise from the celebration made us wish we had been accommodated in one of the rooms farther from the venue. This was particularly inconvenient, as I needed to wake up early the following morning, and the noise disrupted our rest. I am sharing this feedback not as a complaint, but as a suggestion to help enhance guest comfort in the future. I truly enjoyed my stay overall and would be happy to return to your hotel again — hopefully under more peaceful circumstances. Arrival The lobby is very well presented, with ample staff to greet you and complete check in etc, the huge chandelier and open atrium right up to the ceiling is certainly impressive. Room We travelled with our infant for the first time, the room was clean and decorated for our arrival with some welcome treats from the kitchen. The bed was lovely, modern amenities, we booked the standard room which had plenty of space. There were a few drawbacks, no his and her sinks, probably to be expected given the age of the hotel but a miss here with the recent renovations, the same with the exceptionally small bath. The last and most disappointing feature of the room was the balcony, very small and basic, furnished with one chair, really not what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Facilities Pool was fine, but a bit odd with the choice of artificial boulders, the kids section funnily enough attracted the most sun, so all the sun worshippers went there. The service was great though, sun beds made up and whatever you needed was provided. Gym, sauna and steam room all top tier, modern equipment, water and towels etc all provided. Restaurants We stuck to the buffet with the little one and being half board, there was plenty of great food, and grill to order, prawns, lobster, steaks, chops etc quality was pretty good! There is also a seafood night once a week, carabineros were served along with oysters and king crab which was impressive. Although the king crab was a bit of a letdown lacking flavour and being watery, but the prawns were good. Half board package included soft drinks which was a nice touch, with the option to upgrade to alcoholic drinks each evening. Overall A great hotel, the service was immaculate, food was good, and decent facilities, though the beach was very underwhelming and pool was okay, a few areas for improvement, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food exceeded our expectations, breakfast was also fantastic, gym top notch with sauna and steam room. One last point, the hotel should improve baby changing facilities, in that there aren't any!

Although the hotel seemed a little old, it still held its luxury as all other Ritz Carltons I've visited. The best thing by far was the staff, they were personal. They remembered your name, if you had kids and how to make you feel very welcomed. Very warm welcoming staff! Made it feel like an extention of family than people doing their job. The kids club was great for little ones, spa facilities and indoor and outdoor pools. It has everything you need.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks as a family of five, with three girls under the age of seven, and it was a truly wonderful stay. Everything was excellent: the rooms, the breakfast, and the service. Our stay exceeded our expectations. The pool area is very well organized — towels are provided, sunscreen is available, and fresh fruit is offered throughout the day. At the beach, guests are also very well taken care of, and there are beach toys for children, so there is no need to bring your own. The hotel also has a kids club where children can enjoy themselves. There is a schedule available, but it felt more like free play (coloring, puzzles, dancing). We would have loved to see a bit more active entertainment and organized activities, both in the kids club and around the pool area. That said, our overall experience was absolutely amazing. A special mention goes to Walid, who helped us with so much during our stay. He truly made a difference. Also, a big thank you to all the staff at the pool, the beach, and the kids club — everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. A truly strong and dedicated team. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to families.

Rooms and bathrooms are a great size! We travelled as a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby). Our room had a massive bed, an extra single bed and a baby cot and there was still more than enough room to walk around. The bathroom was a good size too, had a bathtub and a separate shower. Everything about this hotel is 5* the location is okay but there is not much around. But getting a taxi is super easy. There's buffet breakfast which is super nice with a variety of food and they cater to your needs. Would definitely recommend going earlier as it gets quite busy then you have to wait for your drinks/eggs order. We would especially like to thank our waiter on 5th and 6th Feb for being so attentive and taking care of us all! We cannot remember his name very well but it was something like Dewie from Bali and he was always serving us outside. He always had a smile on his face and made sure we had everything we needed before we could even ask! Amazing service from him making it so memorable! There's a kids club with a small ball bit and other things to keep little ones entertained which we loved! We would like to thank the ladies at kids club especially Loubna who did an amazing job keeping our son entertained and happy and thank you for the leaving gifts! Lastly Yamin/Yamine from reception who was so welcoming and accommodating! She made our room super cute for the little ones and always checked on us to make sure everything was good, she went above and beyond for us which made our stay super special ♥️
