The 14 Best New Restaurants in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County | Eater Miami

"It is a rare occurrence for either a new hotel or a new restaurant to open on Palm Beach island, but Palm House premiered this season at a prime, central location, with both. Though not for the faint of wallet, the lively bar and Peruvian-accented Japanese fare, whipped up by a chef who trained under the famed Nobu Matsuhisa, has been drawing a stylish crowd. Taquitos range from lobster to wagyu; appetizers include sashimi salad and toro tartare with caviar; and among the hot dishes are seabass with black bean sauce, spring chicken with shiro miso lemon, and dry aged prime ribeye with fresh wasabi." - Beth Landman

Stopped in at River House and was disappointed. Stuffy crowd being ostentatious, no parking but valet, and worst it was crowded so asked politely if we could pull a third chair up to a barside hightop. Before we could order (given attention it would have been long a young buck (slick but amateur) shouted I am going to have to take that chair. Fine, we left and ran across PGA Blvd to the much better and much nicer waterfront of the Waterway Cafe. Remember, south side of PGA, not north along the waterway and you will be at a hopping joint not a museum to blah.

I absolutely love this place! The food is divine – you can really tell they know how to cook here. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and welcoming, it instantly makes you feel relaxed. One of my favorite things? The women’s restroom plays Elvis music – such a fun and unique touch! It’s also super convenient to reach by boat, with easy docking nearby. All in all, a perfect spot for a great meal and a great time. I keep coming back – I just can’t get enough! And their perfect gin tonic is really perfect - I need the recipe

I love it every time I come here. Great food and service and gorgeous views. If you’re a boat person some amazing boats come by too.

Loved this place for lunch! On a beautiful day we sat outside on the water. Had a glass of wine. Then a palm beach salad. I forgot to take a picture but it was a stack of avocado shrimp and crabmeat, and tomatoes. A side salad with light vinaigrette was also delicious! Everything was So delectable! Highly recommend! I look forward to trying it for dinner!

First time we are come in this restaurant. We enjoyed the view from the restaurant and even though we had to wait 45 minutes we were able to take pictures and enjoy the sun. The food was also very good. The only downside was the dessert which was a little small and not worth the price. But we still enjoyed it!

Upon arriving, we had a reservation which was good, but had to wait a bit for our table which was not bad. When we got to our table, our waitress came 10 min later. Our drinks were delayed a tad, but delivered to us shortly after. We got the artichokes and Tuna Tartare to start, which were excellent. My Caesar salad was great too. The filet on the other hand , was not bad, but definitely had better. Did not have the ideal filet shape you usually envision, and the Bernaise was too buttery. Nice restaurant on the water, but will definitely return, just probably not the steak again.

Hitting the Palm Beach 🏝️ area and getting together for a relative’s bday 🎂🎉🥳 @ this fancy-casual spot right next to the canal front… 🏞️just delivers…if you don’t want to spend that much money forget about it, because you will still end hungry and loose on money. The setup morphs very easily from an elegant 🎩👒🎀👔to a social place to suit any occasion. As appetizers, our party ordered several salads: Ceasar 👑 Classic: grated parmesan, toasted ciabatta 🍞 croutons, which was disappointing, the dish was very small and it was just a mix of lettuce with some croutons, not worth it). The Wedge 🥗 butter lettuce, chopped bacon, cucumber, egg blue cheese, or Thousand Island which was way better than the Caesar, but still not something I would recommend to order. It was just all the elements mixed in the bowl, again nothing special. From all the entrees, I would just go with the Shanghai Shrimp 🍤 That consists of lightly battered jumbo shrimp tossed in sweet & spicy sauce, served with ponzu…(the sauce was on point and the shrimp were very crispy) Another good appetizer was the Blue Point Oysters 🦪/ Connecticut…the tomato sauce and lemon spread really add a completely sophisticated flavor to eat. I'm not a fan of oysters, but these ones were very good because of the sauce. Then we went with the entrees: Crab Cakes 🦀🎂 jumbo lump crab, rémoulade sauce served with French fries. The crab cakes were small but very fresh. If you are very hungry order something else. The best part of it was the french fries 🍟 my favorite thing from all the order, you NEED to order them if you are a french fries fan. Precisely thin cut and fried. Cedarwood 🐟 Planked Salmon with lemon 🍋 seasoning. Fresh and the lemon touch makes it a little bit bitter but blends very well. Atlantic Salmon 🐠 pan-roasted served with roasted cauliflower 🥦 that didn’t have anything special. Chicken 🐥Milanese With champagne beurre blanc, served with Fettuccine Alfredo. One of my favorite dishes ❤️… the chicken was on point, and the sauce super creamy and buttery. The fettuccine was al dente 👌🏻 Tavern Burger 🍔 two griddled patties, caramelized 🧅onion, American cheese, secret sauce (nothing so secret or special about it) / wouldn’t suggest it overall. Primed Meatloaf 🍖served with whipped potatoes. Nice but not impressive. The meat was fresh, but not remarkably good. Ribeye 🥩bathed in hotel d’ maitre butter and as a side a baked 🥔potato. The meat was super fresh and tender, but also nothing of a wao factor. The potato was really upsetting. Just a whatever potato baked and served. Steak 🥩Frites 🍟, sliced steak house served with a delicious sauce verte that makes the dish unique and very flavorish as it adds a buttery touch to it. The french fries 🍟were thin-cut and super crispy, just how I ❤️them. Best dish to order. To me, it was the top winner, even though the meat was overcooked, still the verte sauce makes it very special. We paired the food with a subtle Decoy wine 🍷 We brought a bday cake, so I can’t judge on desserts. Service sometimes abandoned us and didn’t stand out. Overall, this place really misses on being remarkable. It is very unfortante because the setting is ideal to take the customer to an unforgettable experience, but that’s not the case at all, especially considering the pricing, you can even feel you were robbed. 💁🏼 Suggestion: put more emphasis on food details and introduce unique recipes.

I have been here a few times, it’s a nice place to have dinner or to grab drinks by the outside tiki bar. I do recommend having a reservation as it can get pretty busy. There is complimentary valet. Danielle was our server this night she did an excellent job. She gave the table some great recommendations and was friendly. I truly enjoyed the pork ribs, lobster bisque, and meat loaf. Part of kitchen is open concept, which is nice to see the chefs cook.

Yelp
I've been to TRH a few times, thankfully all on company dime!!! First time was for happy hour then lunch a couple of times after that. Unfortunately, I don't think the atmosphere is great for a casual large party happy hour. But we made it work and by making it work I mean, we stood up around the inside bar almost the entire time. By the way, they have a bar outside as well. And every time I get the deviled eggs and the bacon, sweet deliciousness! And I'm typically not a fan of sweet meat, but it's something about that bacon. For lunch, I typically get a salad, the last time I had an ahi poke salad and honestly, it wasn't that good. I don't like when they sear poke on the outside; just serve it to me cold as it should be. The ambience outside is great; I'd much rather get a table by the water than a table inside which is a little dark. No complaints about service ever and be ready to valet park because that's all or mainly what they offer. You might be able to self park, but it's way in the back of the parking lot. But at least it's comp, only cost you the tip.

Yelp
Definitely will be a repeat customer at River House. Outside at the tiki hut looking at the water is the perfect vibe. Such a great spot for a crisp glass of white wine and some yaps with the girls. We got a little appie of the butter crab roll and it literally melts in your mouth. Need to try more of their food! Only thing to note is that you pretty much have to do valet parking unless you want to walk a ways. It is complimentary, but obviously you'll want to tip.

Yelp
have been to this place a few times, every experience is so different. food has been mid consistently, and strangely i think it tastes better during lunch, but the service is great, place is clean and has modern vibes and overall we enjoyed our visit. our reservation was later and they allowed us to order, eat, and enjoy company without rushing us out after closing-- always a sign of great customer service.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my brunch experience at The River House! My husband and I brought my mother-in-law there to celebrate their birthdays, and the team truly delivered on making it special. We arrived with our own cake, which the staff promptly offered to refrigerate and cut for us. We also brought a bottle of champagne as a gift, and they suggested presenting it on ice at the table for a corkage fee--AMAZING. Our server was attentive throughout, making us feel well cared for and celebrated the entire time. The food exceeded everyone's expectations. My shrimp and grits were exceptional--perhaps the best I've had in years, which says something coming from a Southerner. When it came time for dessert, they brought out our cake and even wrapped the leftovers neatly for us to take home. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful scenery, and excellent food left such an impression that we made reservations for two weeks later before we even left. If you visit on Sunday, don't miss the mini donuts--trust me!!

Yelp
We had a reservation for 8 for Father's Day at 7pm. I completely understand this is one of the more busy days of the year, but by the time we got there a majority of people were leaving or finishing up, maybe 3 or 4 more people sat after us in our area. Service was incredibly slow it took 15 minutes just for someone to greet us for drinks, and then took another 20 before we got said drinks. It was an 50 minutes before we even were able to order our food with a server. Luckily, food came out. Drink refills were slow, on original order they didn't bring out enough water and never bothered to try to bring more water until 1.5hrs into the meal, when we had just received our food. We ate quickly, as we were starving by the time food arrived. I ordered the steak frites - medium and cooked perfectly for me, it was fantastic - but maybe I am biased because it took so long to get to us so the hunger may have clouded my judgement. From the time we ordered our food, our server disappeared, it took 25 minutes (after finishing eating) for our server to bring us a check and (see photo) the restaurant was empty at that point, she just disappeared. Our visit leaves much to be desired and from this service experience, I don't foresee myself returning. Oh - valet confused my parties keys and had them switched, not the biggest deal as the cars wouldn't start in the lot, but interesting to note the lack of attention to detail.

Yelp
Had an amazing meal at River House in Palm Beach Gardens and I'd highly recommend it. I started with the Heirloom Tomato Salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. For my main, I had the snapper special and subbed in a baked potato instead of the sautéed spinach--a great call, as everything was cooked to perfection and clearly top-quality. The setting was stunning, with a beautiful waterfront view from the covered patio. It was definitely lively (and loud), but the energy added to the experience rather than taking away from it. Even with how busy they were, the service was impeccable--attentive, friendly, and never rushed. For great seafood, a fantastic atmosphere, and top-notch service, River House is a must-visit in Palm Beach Gardens.

Yelp
Had a little date here at the bar which overlooks the water. The espresso martini was so yummy. We really enjoyed the vibe here and the bartenders delivered great service. Very crowded bar in the evening on a weekend, so grab your seat early!
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
Sadly, service was really the only good thing about our visit. With an outside "tiki bar" you need to have the vibe to go with it. The drink selection was extremely underwhelming- our group ordered a wide variety of standard cocktails and most all were blaa. I would suggest they step it up soon before Waterway opens their doors again!!! Update: Returned for lunch as this is where our client requested - and was shocked to see the ladies room like this - if this was later in the evening on a busy night - maybe I could understand- but this was at 1:00 in the afternoon and they were not busy at all. For fine dining - this is not ok!

Yelp
This is the second time we have dined here, both times at the same table! Overall the location and outdoor set up is the best thing about this restaurant. The patio seating is lovely by the water and their tiki bar outside has a fun vibe. Their dinner is nothing extraordinary or super memorable. I would recommend to stop in for happy hour or light bites to enjoy the ambiance. Parking is valet.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! we so enjoyed our dinner! The location is great! You get to watch the boats go by! Lots of boats, lights! Ok, back to the details! We had reservations and they worked with us in our table selection which was so lovely! We ended up sitting in the porch! The hostesses were so friendly! Great service! We had a lovely server who smiled the entire time. Service recommendations were spot on (lobster, prime rib, etc) we enjoyed every bite! The food was delish! The service was great, water filled and all! We brownies treat was "lick the plate" good. We were there on a Friday night and the place was "hopping!" The only negative I would say was it was a little loud so conversation was a little challenging. But overall we enjoyed our evening and it was a special time!
google avatar

Yelp
We come here religiously for Sunday brunch. The best seat is at the outside bar with Jamie! Amazing food and staff... don't sleep on the deviled eggs!

Yelp
I was invited here for a friend's birthday party on a busy Saturday night in Season. People were pouring into this place like it was the only game in town and I wondered how they were going to serve all these people. Definitely make a reservation for without it, you likely will not get seated. While we wanted to sit outside on their patio, it was one of those crazy chilly nights we are having right now so inside seating was a must! We were seated in the back and it looked like every table around us was celebrating something as they were all tables of 6-8 and everyone was giving gifts etc. This must be a popular celebration spot. We were a party of six and our server, Lannie, took excellent care of us. I love it when a server doesn't get flustered by a range of food requests as there were a couple in our group with a range of special requests. The food was great and came out in a timely manner. My wedge salad was a little different than what I expected but tasted just fine (it's deconstructed so not really a wedge) The Tuna tartar was fresh and beautifully presented. I had the Grouper topped with crab meat and it was perfectly done. And that loaded baked potato that I ordered? Be still my carb loving heart! Others in our group had the prime rib and the beef wellington and everyone raved about their food. All in all we had a great celebration and got to sing happy birthday along with the rest of the surrounding tables. It was a fun night- I wish I lived a little closer so that I could sit out on that patio and have a cocktail or two.
google avatar

Monica F.

Yelp
One of the best meals I have had in this country. We were a party of four and shared two appetizers. One of us had a prickly pear margarita and espresso martini. The appetizers were the grilled artichokes (delicious but stinky) and the calamari (super tender). Entrees were beef Wellington, Parmesan-crusted halibut, and steak frites. We shared a warm bread pudding. Also delicious. Our waitress Linden was great and this is the perfect place to splurge or celebrate something. Loved it.
google avatar

Yelp
Your ambience was fantastic. The service was great and the food was great. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Nice restaurant. We were seated in the booths near the bar. They're a little small and it was very hot but nice nonetheless. The tables in the back appeared as though they would have been a better spot: you're inside but there's enough glass that you feel like you're outside, and as I walked to the ladies room, I realized it was much cooler back there. The tables would have been a better choice for a business lunch for sure. The food was amazing and definitely why I score 5 stars. I had the Palm Beach Salad. Crab, shrimp, avocado...it was delicious. It also had a small green salad which has the perfectly light and tangy sort of vinaigrette. Also delicious. The fried shrimp appetizer was also delicious. Think bang bang shrimp, elevated. I actually didn't want to share Service was very good: Jessica was our server and I had zero complaints. Complimentary valet parking was nice too. Easy and the gentleman were polite and friendly. I would definitely dine here again.

Robin S.

Yelp
We were not happen with the restauran. We were all seated on top of each other, very warm inside the restaurant. We ordered the deviled eggs and they still had some wheel left on. It was Father's Day weekend and they ran out of Sirloin Steak. They should've been prepared for a busy weekend. The fly situation was out of control They were in our food and flooded on our cocktail. No $400.00 bill should have to put up with that.
google avatar

J. A.

Yelp
Was really looking forward to enjoying lunch here but instead it was very disappointing. Food took forever and upon arrival both our orders were cold. When I complained it was reheated but still cold, service was extremely slow and the restaurant was not even that busy.
google avatar

Bob F.

Yelp
I would give 3.5 and not a 3 or 4 if app let me I enjoyed my appetizer of calamari but it was needing more sauce and service was too slow Main meal good with steak fritters but slow on service Wife had sushi but service slow as she needed soy sauce and way too much rice on her dish Had a nice view of water but the area we sat had no AC Expensive meal for what we got I would come back but I hope service be better next time Lots of restaurants around to choose from
google avatar

Abbey S.

Yelp
we had a fantastic dinner at river house - definitely worth a try if you've never been before and if it's a special occasion! it is definitely on the pricey side with fairly small portions, but you're paying for quality. everyone loved their meals and raved about the loaded baked potato. very limited vegetarian options (and none vegan), lots of seafood. large restaurant with somewhat dim interior (at 7pm) but lovely covered patio (with fans) as well as some uncovered outdoor tables right next to the water. you can watch the boats passing by! service was good, but not exceptional. went some long stretches with our waitress MIA but she was covering both indoor and outdoor tables. complimentary valet parking. make a reservation if you're coming in-season, especially on a weekend or with a large party. would definitely come back!

Yelp
This place never disappoints! We eat here often and have never ever had to send our food back to the kitchen. I normally order some type of steak and it's always prepared exactly to the temperature I asked for. The million dollar deviled eggs are amazing. Their sushi is fantastic as well. We like to eat at the bar and the servers are top notch. (Jaime, Carrie and Jimmy are the best!)

Denise Konigseder

Yelp
Great food & the staff is amazing!l. On the water for as well, perfect spot for brunch, lunch or dinner!!

Tim B.

Yelp
Terrible service as of late. Awful service outside bar. Once 9pm rolls around, they start cleaning up. Everything smells like bleach. This is the service industry and everyone (except a few) makes you feel like you're burdening them. Get your service up
google avatar

Natalie C.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. Lovely staff. Great food. Impressive wine list to offer. The outside covered seating is perfect for dinner. Highly recommend the lobster tails (two beautiful Maine lobster tails), the prime rib (massive, great cut), and the panko crusted sea bass (with an Asian ginger sauce, it was moist, amazingly flavorful, and a sizable piece of fish). The French fries were shoe strings so great and crispy. The crispy brussel sprouts weren't super crispy but good nonetheless. End the night with the chocolate chip cookie skillet or the key lime pie...can't go wrong with either. Great meal, can't wait to come back. (And ask for Marley... she was wonderful!)

Yelp
In town on business and visited the restaurant at the recommendation of a friend. I passed on it prior due to less than stellar reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor. The food and atmosphere are wonderful but the service is some of the worst I've experienced in recent years. We had a reservation, yet had to wait for 15-20 mins for our table. We then sat another 15 mins before I finally got up and tracked down a server. Several walked past our table and acted as if they didn't hear me try to reach out to them. When the meals arrived, my dinner guest did not receive a steak knife for her filet. We waited for one to arrive as our meals began to get cold. Again, I got out of my chair to track down a knife just at it arrived. I'm a patient man, but this was just poor service all around. Too bad. I'm in the area often and will never go back. The reviews on the sites seem to be spot on.

Rita J.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance were great. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was a hot day but the fans outside and the seating by the water made it a wonderful experience even on a hot day. I highly recommend this restaurant especially for a special occasion.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful view of the water. Sat outdoors and it was perfect. The food was good and so was the service. Perfect way to wind down your afternoon

Yelp
Best hamburger in town. Beautiful views check it out a little on the high price well worth every penny. Been there twice each one suburb. Service service great!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Great food. Great staff. I had the Steak and Eggs for brunch. The filet Mignon was delicious

Yelp
We love going to The River House when we are down in Palm Beach Gardens. The view is unbeatable and I personally love that I can get sushi and my husband can get meat. He personally loves the meatloaf. I love the sushi rolls. I have had most of them but love the crispy rice with tuna. Great spot for a fancy date night on the water!

Chris T.

Yelp
Food was average Drinks were decent Waiting over 2.5 hours when we were told 30 min... server came by 3 times the entire meal, Enough where a 8 year old said "he must like his friends tables more than us" For a $300 bill, this sucked
google avatar

Lon C.

Yelp
To be fair, the food was good and we had a friendly server on both occasions that we went. The reason for the low rating and as demonstrated by other "1 star" reviews... is because when we tried to order food "to go", the young gal who answered the phone was clueless, Couldn't answer the most basic questions. I asked for someone who knew the menu and was placed on hold for a long time and when someone finally came to the phone, they were as clueless as the first. This place needs to focus on better help.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner at the River house! The appetizers were the best - the deviled eggs with millionaire's bacon were out of this world! The shanghai shrimp were yummy. Sushi rolls were solid. My dirty Tito's martini with blue cheese olives was amazing. As for the entree, I got the sesame crusted seared ahi tuna steak (served with ginger and soy sauce). The tuna was good, but needed something to kick it up a notch - I was hoping for more! Beautiful restaurant and our servers were awesome. We sat inside since it was raining!

Yelp
We came here for dinner on a Sunday. We had an early reservation at 5 PM, but later on it got very packed. We reserved the day before. Reservations are a must, since it's always so busy. The ambiance is very nice and cozy. Views in the water. Tables are covered in white table cloths and white paper. The kids enjoyed coloring on the table with the paper provided. Our waitress was incredibly helpful and very nice! Her recommendations were great! All food was delicious! The chicken Milanese was amazing And the sushi roll was so tasteful! 10/10 recommend visiting with family or friends.

Yelp
Outstanding! My family and I had an outstanding experience dining for dinner at The River House. We came on a Wednesday evening and the place was poppin'! That's how you know it's the real deal. The staff here are a well-oiled MACHINE! They were very welcoming and friendly, and had our food and drinks all out in a timely manner. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and the yum yum sushi roll. The crab cake was tremendous - crisp and flaky packed with deliciously tender crab meat. The dijon sauce was bursting with flavor, too. The sushi roll was great! A good balance of fish and yum yum sauce for a party in your mouth kinda bite! My father had the Grouper which was spectacularly tender and flakey and with great flavor. My sister and mother got the chicken milanese, which was good. The chicken was crusted beautifully in a Parmesean crust, but if they got it again they would maybe get the sauce on the side. The chicken could stand alone. We also got the crispy brussel sprouts which has a wonderful flavor but weren't very "crispy". My only complaint of the night - we got the twice-baked potato which came with a single a slice of cheap cheese on top. Why ruin a porche by putting a bumper sticker on the front windshield!? I'm from wisconsin - give me some quality shredded cheese or none at all! For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cream pie, carrot cake, and key lime pie. All were outstanding, probably taking home first place all-time in their respective categories. Next time you wander into Palm Beach, throw on your nicest dinner clothes and treat yourself to the 8th wonder of the world that is the River House!

Yelp
I used to really love going to the river house. They had the best chilean sea bass i've ever tasted. We used to pull up to their dock with the thirty four foot Grady White. Have a meal that couldn't be better, get back on board and dance on the back deck on our way back to our Marina. Best nights.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite restaurant in West Palm beach near singer and the gardens. The food is always great. Service is top notch and atmosphere is perfect waterside, fancy restaurant without being stuffy. Sometimes loud b/c if the bar but, always a great time

Yelp
Love love love this place. Always sit out at the tiki bar overlooking the intracoastal. Can be hard to find a spot. But if you're patient you usually get one. Such a beautiful view and delicious food We love the cheeseburger with an egg on top and the amazing French dip! But have also loved the gem salad and other items. Amazing spot. Valet parking is great. Boaters pull up too. Wonderful spot.

Yelp
Outstanding restaurant in every way. Beautiful location in a marina. Just about the best food we've ever had in a waterside restaurant. Tuna tartare excellent. Crab cakes amazing. Salmon with crispy skin made "you know who" happy. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Sat outside...nice view and not too noisy although it was crowded at 2pm on a Monday. Service was leisurely which was fine with us as we were visiting with an out of town relative. There were 4 of us. One person had the burger with fries- excellent! 2had the fish tacos with cilantro rice and black beans. Both said they were very good but one thought they were a little salty. One had the steak tacos and did not like the sauce that was on the meat. The desserts, 1 key lime pie and 1 carrot cake, plus good coffee all around were a perfect ending.

Yelp
Incredibly rude and entitled hostesses. Head hostess can't answer simple questions without an attitude. I asked if she could show the rest of our party to the table when they arrived. Sure enough, my family showed up minutes later and was told "there's no one by that name here" I had to walk around the restaurant to find them. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, thankfully. Burgers were well done instead of medium rare, food was generally overpriced and not worth being treated like an inconvenience.

Yelp
Terrible server, Gustavo was our server, he ruined my girlfriend's birthday by making inappropriate comments. Horrible experience definitely not coming back.

Yelp
we were seated in a corner by the restrooms. No ambience in the corner and there were tables near the windows available. Service was a 2 of 5. Our server got our beverages and then disappeared. My wife asked another server if she could find our server and that young lady was a 5. She took our order and eventually our server came back with no explanation. Our original server came back and was going through the motions. A very disappointing experience. 1. Poor service 2.food was OK 3. Over priced

Yelp
Restaurant with a beautiful view. Food is good but service was very slow. But we didn't mind the slow service because the view of the water was beautiful on a sunny day and watching boats go by.

Yelp
We had a nice family Easter dinner at River House...The staff was stretched to their limits on this holiday -- Food was a 5 -- Had to wait for the table and then slower service despite the team working their best. We will return. Family enjoyed the Filet Special, Halibut with crab and the desserts were fantastic. They also volunteered to comp appetizers which was a nice touch given the wait.

Yelp
I have been a regular here for 4 years. Never any conversation or recognition from a Manager. After a plan with family for Thanksgiving got cancelled due to illness, I went to the River House for a "Thanksgiving plate". The turkey was rubbery, I had the same plate 2 years ago at the River House and it was delicious. Also the last two times I ordered hot soup it was served in a refrigerated bowl on a refrigerated plate. WTF? Furthermore the management continues to piss off their best employees with the constant uniform changes. This place is trending down in my opinion and I dine out 5-6 nights a week. Yes it's on the water but that only goes so far, I am pivoting to other area restaurants...

Yelp
I really don't know how anyone couldn't rate this five star. It's the best restaurant it's on a beautiful water. It's classy. It's decorated fantastic. Great service. The food is awesome and I'm a vegetarian at a steakhouse here. Excellent sides prices are high, but so is PGA Boulevard.

Yelp
Stunned-we asked our waiter after our dinner about a neighboring table that had bread and butter. We asked why we hadn't received any. His reply was you didn't ask. Totally unacceptable. Also, clearing the table-he reaches across me to clear my spouse to my left. Didn't you ever learn busing basic-serve on the left, remove on the right. Terrible service. Never go here again.
