"It is a rare occurrence for either a new hotel or a new restaurant to open on Palm Beach island, but Palm House premiered this season at a prime, central location, with both. Though not for the faint of wallet, the lively bar and Peruvian-accented Japanese fare, whipped up by a chef who trained under the famed Nobu Matsuhisa, has been drawing a stylish crowd. Taquitos range from lobster to wagyu; appetizers include sashimi salad and toro tartare with caviar; and among the hot dishes are seabass with black bean sauce, spring chicken with shiro miso lemon, and dry aged prime ribeye with fresh wasabi." - Beth Landman
