The Roll Pod

We have been looking forward to the opening of the Roll Pod restaurant. We used to have food very regularly before Covid when they were in SLU. In fact we did catering also. So we’re glad to see this sit down restaurant opening up in our neighborhood. We ordered their Paneer, and Potato rolls, Pau Bhaji, and Rice bowl. Every dish was as good as we remembered and totally worth the wait all these years! They also gave us Gajjar ka halwa to try and I typically don’t eat it bz in the US I don’t think restaurants use the quality ingredients and follow the traditional recipe. However I was very pleasantly surprised how good and tasty the halwa was. Very glad to have this restaurant in the neighborhood and the owner and the staff were very welcoming and friendly which made it all the more special!!

Im excited this location opened!! The food is amazing. I’ve tried their butter chicken and mutton, both are great and taste exceptional. I never had roll pod until this location and I can’t get enough. the customer service is great, walking in it always feels welcoming. They made me a fan, and I will keep supporting them

I had been waiting for this place to open up for a couple of months. I tried it for the first time the day after thanksgiving, and I can honestly say, its some of the best food ive had since i moved to Seattle from NYC in 2022. So much so, I had it again the very next day, which i hardly ever do with any food. I got the Paneer roll and the mutton roll, spice level 4, and though the Mutton was incredible, the paneer roll was legitimately life changing. Eric, the manager of the store was incredibly cordial, and helpful, and the space was spotless. Anyone looking for relatively cheap, delicious food, I would HIGHLY recommend The Roll Pod.

Been going to the food truck in SLU for a long time. Happy they opened this new place closer to me. Always good food. Can’t recommend enough!

The food was good and the concept is unique. Unfortunately I am giving a low review because of poor customer service. The big thing I couldn’t ignore was the loud cursing in Spanish. I think they didn’t realize I understood the language because this was at the front. We were told to order online to receive the discount which was fine. Though had waited longer than the estimated order time without receiving a notification that the food was done. Eventually they asked what I was waiting for and I mentioned my online order. Apparently the order had been done for some time though they never sent a notification or called our name. Only after I received my order did they send the notification that my food was ready. Though I was excited this new place opened in my area , my family and I will not be coming back.

My family's favorite restaurant just opened a new location. I would call it an upgraded version of their Bellevue location. Very spacious and lovely interior. Apart from some of our usual favorites, we tried the Butter chicken which is a nice addition to their menu. Friendly customer service.

This is an excellent spot to have a chill dinner. The new butter chicken on the menu is icing on the cake. The vibes of this restaurant is very good. We are sure to come back again and again.

Awesome food and great service. The menu items are authentic with an original twist and are delicious. Perfect for a quick lunch, casual dinner, business or personal catering, take-out or delivery. The butter chicken is a new introduction and is delish. You will not be disappointed!

This is a brand new addition to the neighbourhood! As a Caribbean person, I was really looking forward to having another South Asian restaurant nearby. The staff was amazing at explaining how things work, and I was excited to try all the things! Hmm, I ordered 2 Roll Pods - mutton masala and methi chicken. Since this was only day 2 of the restaurant being open, I'll try again. The egg roti (type of bread used for the roll) was a yummy modification of traditional roti. Imagine a cross between Jamaican and South Asian roti, and that's what we have here, so good. The fillings on the other hand were more hot than flavour, premade so not actually fresh and I ordered level 1. I'll have to try again before I count this out, but I'm not loving my first experience. Spice SPC Grocery is much better just as close by, and just as fast. They offer fresh and reliably yummy food. Their lassi and all offerings are absolutely fresh. I'll try The Roll Pod again. Next time will be a full butter chicken. Keep you posted!

Delish! I thought the mushroom was particularly good. Aloo gobi may have needed a bit more flavor. Raita is a must! Comfty chairs.

Super yummy food and friendly staff :) definitely recommended to anyone who loves Indian food but doesn't always have time for a sit down meal.
