Go Inside the Gaslamp’s Swanky New Steakhouse | Eater San Diego

"After three years since first announcing its San Diego expansion, STK has finally opened a luxe, lounge-y steakhouse in the Gaslamp’s Andaz Hotel. The 8,636-square-foot space at the corner of F Street and Sixth Avenue seats 220 across a bar and main dining area, mezzanine lounge, courtyard, two private rooms, and will debut a wrap-around patio; it's built around a party atmosphere with DJs spinning Tuesday through Saturday. The uber-customizable menu features 10 cuts of steak (the most popular is the 14-ounce, 45-day dry aged Delmonico), 11 toppings ranging from king crab to bone marrow, and eight sauces and crusts including chimichurri and béarnaise, alongside other entrees such as a daily market fish, seafood platters, salads, and steakhouse starters. Local chef David Burke, who spent 12 years with Fleming’s Steakhouse and also cooked at Pacifica Del Mar, is overseeing the kitchen, and the opening extends The ONE Group’s STK brand, which now has nearly 20 locations worldwide including Las Vegas, London, and LA, with new branches coming to Mexico City and San Juan, Puerto Rico." - Candice Woo

Lounge-like STK Debuts Its Steakhouse in the Gaslamp | Eater San Diego

"I saw the glitzy global steakhouse from The ONE Group debut at Andaz San Diego over the weekend. It's a modern steakhouse paired with a chic lounge featuring leather banquettes; the elevated dining room has theatrical lights that illuminate each table, windows overlooking the Gaslamp, and a DJ dropping beats. The menu pairs steakhouse staples such as beef and fish with popular STK dishes including parmesan truffle fries, Lil’ BRGs, tuna tartare, and sweet corn pudding. STK first announced San Diego expansion plans in 2015 and has taken over an 8,410-square-foot space that sat empty since Katsuya shuttered in 2014, after The ONE Group took over all food-and-beverage operations at Andaz last fall." - Susan Stapleton

Quick bite and drinks after work opened up the evening and kick-started a nice weekend. Service was good, food was good, views of the baseball game at the stadium, and all within walking distance of home.

The lobster mac and cheese was the great! My tomahawk was delicious but i didn't know that they cut it up for you? I wish i had a heads up. I do not like my utensils directly on the table without a table cloth? My table was shaky and the waitress seemed disinterested. There are simple improvements to be made. Overall delicious!!

Google
Great rooftop dining area with a bar and outside seating right on top of the Andaz. Tried several of the breakfast menu options over the week and overall had a great experience with the food. So cal Benedict and the croissant sandwich stood out.

In the heart of San Diego, The Rooftop by STK is not above the restaurant, but rather the Andaz Hotel. With that in mind, you’ll have to enter the hotel and head to the top. The space is really well maintained with decor that’s typical of the Andaz—modern with elements of pop art. There’s a giant mural of Aubrey Hepburn and co-ed bathroom entrances. That kind of vibe. There’s tons of outdoor seating and a giant bar where you can order food from STK. The menu is a little pricey, but expected because it’s downtown and a higher end hotel. There is a pool, but reserved for guests (I believe). I wish the view was better, but it’s still a nice rooftop. My girlfriend and I went during happy hour and the menu featured discounted drinks and shareable dishes. Again, it was pricey for what it was, but expected. The bartender provided excellent service, which is truly why I gave it four stars instead of three. If you’re looking to be outdoors and on a sunny San Diego day, this is a great option.

Google
Definitely a pricey experience but we really did enjoy the food and service! My brother got the chicken and waffles, I got eggs, bacon, toast, and roasted potatoes (which were amazing)! We each got a coffee as well! Great view of course given that it’s a rooftop! The breakfast wasn’t over the top fantastic but it was yummy! Would come again and get something more creative, I think $25 for something I can make at home is kind of insane.

Google
So Much fun and Beautiful!!! Came for my Bachelorette Party Weekend and the staff were so nice they let us choose where we wanted to sit! The food was so yummy along with the drinks! But the music selection and the view was the best part!

Gal T.

Google
Excellent view, a nice bar and comfortable armchairs to sit, make the place very useful. There is also a swimming pool, which adds charm to the space. Andaz hotel rooftop us great! Judge by it's pics!

Yelp
Awesome times. the lil brgg's with the wagu butter is top notch. Rafeal was a great help from start to finish. Thank again for the time well spent.

Yelp
We came to STK for to have a celebratory birthday dinner for my husband. We were a party of 9, who they tried to stuff into a booth initially. As soon as I asked about changing to a bigger table, we were accommodated no questions asked. Now that we're comfy in a bigger space, we started ordering drinks. Unfortunately my alcoholic beverage wasn't very alcoholic lol, however, we ended up with a free alcoholic drink since the server delivered one to the wrong table. They also missed delivering a coke for someone at our table for most of the dinner. While I make mention of these things, I'm not saying we had a negative experience. Our server was phenomenal, he even massaged my mother's arm when she complained about her fingers locking up. His service really was everything. Because the food... hmmm... Some of us started with a wedge salad which is easily enough for 2 people and very good. I shared a 28 oz ribeye with hubby, and it was decent, not great, but it didn't suck. Would a pay $115 for that again, no. We also ordered just about every type of potato on the menu, mashed, tater tots and hasbrowns. They were out of the hashbrowns which i was really looking forward to trying. The mashed were AMAZING!!! Even better than my own. Very buttery and smooth with hints of citrus (according to someone else, I didn't taste citrus). The tater tots, also very good. The sauce they came with was spicy, but a good accompaniment. In addition to most of the potatoes, we also ordered all the mac and cheese. Before I review this, I am admittedly hard on restaurant mac and cheese. It's almost always more of a mac soup with hints of cheese and cheese on top. These mac's are similar, except they are garlic heavy. Now while I understand the rest of the world loves garlic and wants it infused in everything, GARLIC DOES NOT GO IN EVERYTHING. Mac and cheese should carry a cheese flavor, be cheesy enough to get some cheese pulls and not be bland. The not bland part really only requires salt and pepper. IDC IDC, if you are making mac with onion, garlic or any other powder, it's not being done right. They then finished us off with some chocolate cake and a piece of cheesecake to celebrate my husband, both were good. My only other issue, I can't help but compare this to Mastros. The prices are similar (STK is more expensive with some of the items) but the quality is not. One thing I missed that we get at Mastros is having all of our leftovers boxed up by the staff and brought to you in cute little bags. All in all though, it was a cool experience. I won't rush to do it again, but will probably be back. One last note, be sure to ask what comes on/in things if you have allergies or dislikes. They do not list out all ingredients on the menu.

Yelp
This place was very average for how long we had to wait for the food. I only came here with my boyfriend cause we were staying at the hotel downstairs and it was offering us food credit. Otherwise, I would not come here on my own will. We arrived around brunchtime on a weekend, and we were seated right away. The bad thing was, we noticed almost no one sitting around us had any food yet. We waited close to an hour before we got served our food, which is totally ridiculous, they were clearly understaffed in the kitchen. I ordered the chicken and waffles thinking it would be good based on the pictures, but the portion of the chicken was laughable. The waffle was pretty normal sized, but the chicken was so small compared to the waffle. This is the smallest piece of chicken I've ever received with this type of order. It's understandable if the dish was cheap, but the chicken was about $8 addition on top of the waffles, equating to about over $20 for the whole dish. It tasted pretty good, but I was just disappointed with how little chicken there was. Views were not bad for a rooftop but there's honestly not much to look out at since it was the downtown area full of buildings. I hope management gets better about staffing this spot properly if they expect people to come back.
google avatar

Jimmy P.

Yelp
Alright the wait was insanely long for two dishes. ~45mins. The chicken and waffles was definitely a crime. $21 for chicken and waffles and if you refer to my pictures it's not much chicken at all and the waffle isn't any bigger than your typical hotel maker waffle. The short rib hash was $29 and had more food but just basic. Servers were really nice but I would definitely blame management for the long wait and overpriced/Food quantity. Food taste: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 cold if you aren't under the heater Views: 5/5 Service: 1/5 for insanely long wait Price: 2/5 understandable it's a hotel but God dang it's high

Yelp
Views are fantastic! The bread of the flatbread wasn't as crisp as I would've liked, but the flavors were good! My boyfriend liked the chicken sliders more, said it was crispy and that the fries were nice and crispy too! The margaritas definitely tasted like a pre made sour mix, and were definitely very strong but they sure did the job!

Yelp
Cool vibes rooftop bar and restaurant with a view. Happy hour tacos are a deal, just don't order 3 of each when they can come three to a plate or else as I saw someone ending up with tacos to feed a family of five. Tacos were good. Service was friendly at the bar or at your table or seat. I even had eggs Benny for breakfast that I recall was pretty good for a hotel restaurant. Stay for the trivia night and end up winning a gift certificate enough for a drink or more. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great service! Great food nice ambiance! Ordered an Andaz burger and Chicken Flatbread.

Yelp
We hung out here for a bit while our room was being prepared. Pretty decent deal on the specialty cocktails for happy hour. Drinks were good, the chicken wrap was fresh and tasty. Fries had a great batter on them and the chipotle mayo had a nice kick. I'd definitely recommend the rooftop for some quick food/drinks if you're around.

Yelp
Cool STK rooftop IN Gaslamp Quarter. Beautiful rooftop to see the City and the waters before the night fall.
google avatar

Kyle I.

Yelp
STK Rooftop Lounge is a chill environment with beautiful views and decent cocktails, making it a great spot to unwind. While the food is mostly just bar fare, the atmosphere more than makes up for it. We even caught a comedy show one night, so they clearly host some cool special events. The fire pits add a nice touch, and there's also a pool, though it seems to be reserved for hotel guests. Overall, it's a solid place to hang out, especially if you're looking for a relaxed vibe with some added perks. The service here has never amazed me, they could definitely improve that.
google avatar

Ash R.

Yelp
I recently checked out Rooftop by STK in San Diego and was left a bit disappointed. The drinks were overpriced and didn't have much flavor. At $14 for a zero-proof cocktail, I expected more. While the rooftop ambiance is great, the lackluster drinks made the experience feel less worth the splurge. If you're heading there, you might want to manage your expectations regarding the drink quality.
google avatar

Clarissa S.

Yelp
Wow! One of the most beautiful rooftops I've been to in SD! Absolutely stunning views of the city and a nice ambiance. I was surprised it was so empty on a Saturday night. Nonetheless, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a quiet night seated by their beautiful fire sculpture. My only complaint was my overpriced glass of champagne

Alice Z.

Yelp
Food here are terrible. The fried chickens slider are horrible. It's tasteless and dry. Fish taco is also tasteless. The lil corn slider is bun with jerky, disgusting. The only thing that are good is the French fries. So sad. Just get the drinks here.

Yelp
Stopped at the rooftop for a quick drink before heading downstairs for dinner. The rooftop was a fun environment loud music lots of happy people roaming around. it happened to be trivia night so that made my stay on the rooftop just a little more fun

Yelp
Great rooftop bar for drinks, located at the top of the Andaz hotel. Beautiful at sunset and great to take a couple of nice photos with friends!
google avatar

Yelp
The STK Rooftop is absolutely one of my favorite places to have a late lunch/early dinner in the Chelsea / Meatpacking area. The food is always cooked to perfection. I typically order off the Happy Hour menu, but the next time I return I will most definitely be ordering off the regular menu. The drinks are exceptional! My favorites are the Hibiscus Sparkler and the Perfect Margarita. I love the Beef Short Rib Quesadilla and Lil' Burger with Truffle fries. The waiters are always friendly and accommodating at this location, they make me feel like a superstar each time visit. I come here often, after a long work day or a day of shopping and touring the city. I'm a regular at this location and the ambiance and scenery is always amazing!
google avatar

Jacqueline B.

Yelp
Gross food. Horrible service. Just eat downstairs at the actual STK restaurant. Do NOT go to the roof top.
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
Fun spot! Friendly bartenders, delicious drinks, chill vibes! They offer a happy hour, I think it was 4-6. Delicious flat bread, we had the pear and arugula! I bet it would be a fun spot to come at night.

Sarah H.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE! If I could leave 0 stars I would. I (and 6 friends) had a brunch reservation at 12:00 on a Sunday. This was for a 30th birthday too. We walked into the restaurant which didn't even look open. A few men in there doing who knows what looked at us and just kept doing what they were doing not saying one word to us. Strike one. Then a guy finally came around and we told them we had reservations and he said no we're the night restaurant, the brunch restaurant is upstairs. So we go upstairs. Nobody up there. Not one person to help us, waited about 10 minutes before someone finally walked to us and told us they don't serve brunch and basically weren't open. Why be able to make a reservation then? He said go try downstairs and we said they sent us to the top. He said you guys can eat here though but we definitely didn't feel welcome at all. Strike two. Then so we just left and walking to the restaurant we passed a guy holding a sign advertising the restaurant that said rooftop brunch and bottomless mimosas. So I said your sign is a lie there's nobody even there and they really aren't open. And he was very shocked and said why am I out here so he left. HORRIBLE SERVCE HERE. Terrible marketing and no professionalism. Don't go here if you're looking for a warm welcome and brunch. We went to the Nolen and they sat us right away and had amazing service, amazing food and took great care of us. So go there instead.
google avatar

Gloria C.

Yelp
Loved everything about it. The food, drinks were good and ambience. One night we saw the comedy show and another night just chilled up there with drinks. Drinks hit the spot. Great way to celebrate my birthday.
google avatar

Janine M.

Yelp
I'm being generous.. the view is fabulous. The DJ on a Saturday night, awesome! The staff friendly, but the service!? Horrible. We ordered and appetizer, and when it didn't arrive 30 minutes later, it was time to leave. Go for the hangout, maybe buy a drink but don't expect much else.
google avatar

Alfy B.

Yelp
Surprisingly great food! Wonderful views! Recommend!!! We stayed at the hotel below.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
We had a phenomenal breakfast here! The rooftop views are terrific and the service was prompt and kind. I had the Banana Pancakes which were absolute perfection! They were not too sweet and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Also, the orange juice was perfect as well. I would definitely eat here again in a heartbeat and try their other offerings.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
I came here for a solo brunch date on a Saturday morning. There was one table available in the sun. I was asked if that was okay, and I said it was fine since it was a nice day out. As it got warmer and sunnier, the waiter moved me into the shade. Food & Drinks: I ordered the avocado toast and matcha latte for brunch. The avocado toast as pretty standard, and the eggs were poached nicely. The matcha latte was barely green though, so it was mostly milk with a hint of matcha. Service: Service was a little slow at the beginning. There may have been some miscommunication that I was seated, so it took my server a little bit of time before greeting me. It was a nice morning, so I didn't mind too much. After ordering, my food and drink came out promptly. TL;DR - lovely brunch spot. They are full service all day, so I'll need to come back to see how lunch and dinner fare.

Yelp
My wife and I were staying downtown and decided to take a walk over to The Rooftop by STK. There is a restaurant with a similar name downstairs but you have to enter the Andaz hotel and go up in the elevator. We had made reservations but wanted to sit at the bar. We got such great service from Keller he was really nice and personable while handling drink orders at the bar. We ordered great food with him and excellent drinks. We had such a great afternoon here. It wasn't near as busy as all of the food options downtown. We had a lot of fun, the music was great and we socialized with some locals. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
***Came Here for a Yelp Elite Event that served complimentary deserts and appetizers (note: entrees and drinks were NOT included)*** While the party put together was lovely (and quite crowded) the bar itself was disappointing. The staff seemed to be very overwhelmed and under prepared for the event. Our bartender took 15 minutes to make 1 drink (the other was a canned beer) and complained about making a Mai-Tai the entire time (even though it is on their menu). The venue itself is very beautiful and would be great for a party given its lounge vibe and pool area. While sitting at the bar (outside of the event) I spoke to another couple in regards to ordering good from the bar, they strongly discouraged this as they stated it took them 45 minutes to prepare an entree. My husband and I decided against ordering food and decided to order and additional beverage. I tried the Mai-Taisme once more from the bar closest to the pool and was again disappointed. The drink was completely different from what had previously been made. Overall I would not mind coming back here on a non-event day, but would be hesitant from ordering from the bar.

Clarissa S.

Yelp
Went here last month while back in town and enjoyed their Taco Tuesday. Tacos were delicious and the view was amazing. While we were watching the Padres on tv, we could see the stadium and see how full it was right behind us. Our service was fast and nice. Keilani was so good to us and got our tacos to us just the way we liked them. Next time I'm in San Diego I'm planning on staying a Tuesday just for here again. Stunning 10/10 Oh! I almost forgot! Their Mac and cheese was to die for.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Great food and an even better view-I highly recommend checking out The Rooftop by STK. My family and I stayed at The Andaz over the holiday weekend. As a Hyatt Globalist, breakfast is actually comped at The Rooftop for four people, which is a massive perk. Unlike most hotel fare, the breakfast here was delicious. The potatoes were nicely seasoned and crispy, the pancakes were fluffy, and the caramel macchiato kept me warm during the morning hours. If you're staying at the Andaz, this is an absolute must. And even if you're not, you should still go and check it out!
google avatar

Emma M.

Yelp
Here for a private event. The food was pretty good, a waitress was walking around with different types of food on trays. The alcohol was fine, however they started out even with only 6 beers total, so everyone was quickly forced to move to seltzer or hard liquor. The view over San Diego was absolutely stunning. Shares a roof with the pool so people are walking around in their bathing suits next to your event.
google avatar

Thuy N.

Yelp
From start to finish. Our service by the hostess waitress, and waiter were very nice. Staff so accommodating and big shout out to Jessie for the amazing experience. The rooftop view was great and weather was just oh so perfect. The food was flavorful and yummy! We loved our drinks. Chai, cappuccino, and hot cocoa. Must visit for stop in for brunch if you are in town!

Yelp
Over priced, and over cooked steak was not for me.... You are really paying for the atmosphere, The atmosphere was nice with a live DJ.‍

Yelp
Awesome spot to watch the sunsets in San Diego above the Gaslamp Quarter at Andaz Hotel. I love the couches and fire pits, which are really nice around sunset into the evening and the perfect vibe for a date or night out with friends or family. I tried their San Diego Sour cocktail which features Del Maguey Vida, Pineapple, Lemon, an Egg White, and a Red Wine floater. It was excellent. Easy drinking especially with the breeze and views. The Mezcalifornia also intrigued me with Aperol, Illegal Mezcal, Don Julio Blanco, Liquid Alchemist Coconut, Pineapple, and Lime. Definitely packs a punch. I fully recommend both drinks. Most drinks on the menu are $16 which is typical for a rooftop bar and they also have house margaritas. A number of mocktails are also on the list for those trying to cut out alcohol including an Apertif Spritz, No-Groni, Pina Colada, and other options. The service is friendly and chill and there are a few TVs for catching the game. Recommend this spot!

Yelp
Everything was mediocre. Service was poor. Food was mediocre. Good views. This long of a review is perfect for how unmemorable everything but the view were.
google avatar

Cassandra B.

Yelp
I kept it pretty light here. I had a pretzel sandwich and a gelato expresso. I came here while I waited for my hotel room to be ready. The staff was friendly and the drinks were fun. I would possibly eat here again if I'm staying at this hotel Sharon again
google avatar

Ruzanna M.

Yelp
Very mediocre! The only thing this place has going for them is the semi-decent views. Everything else was ok at best. Customer service left a lot to be desired. Food was nothing special. Cocktails were served in plastic cups. I had higher expectations going in!
google avatar

Denise L.

Yelp
Ambiance was very nice. You're on a rooftop overlooking downtown it's pretty amazing. The service was great we decided to sit a bit far but that wasn't an issue for them. Food was delicious it's not a big meal like downstairs it's just appetizers and small entrees like burgers and salads. I recommend it if you want to go out and have drinks while you over see the city. Pretty cool
google avatar

Diane L.

Yelp
Keilani was an incredible server! We loved the food, cocktails and views. Great evening, highly recommend.

Eddie S.

Yelp
This is for the food delivered via room service at the Andaz which they told us was from the STK Rooftop. Wanted to watch the national championship game in our suite so ordered the flatbread, Caesar with chicken and the burger and fries. It was literally disgusting. If it was Costco quality it would at least be a three. The "flatbread" and the $25 burger patty had to be from 7-eleven; I would say the same for the salad but I don't think they sell them there. I think you get the picture. I would give them a zero if I could. Seriously. Not edible. Don't know what's going on here but it's pretty sad. It's obvious no one orders room service here if this is what you get. STK has hit bottom if this is coming from their kitchen.
google avatar

Rangie T.

Yelp
Stayed at the Andaz hotel and when I learned that they offer brunch at the rooftop, we had to try it just for the view. During the morning service, it's very casual and laid back so if you're seated at a table waiting for a server, don't get upset because you need to go to the bar to place your orders. The three guys at the bar, Mike and his partners were a great help. They were very friendly and eager to serve. Mike made us some mean and delicious cocktails to start out our weekend brunch. As for the food, the Lobster Benedict was so good. My wife loved the Bagel and Lox as well. The view was spectacular on a beautiful San Diego morning. Try it out and look for Mike, Tell him Rangie T. sent you.

Chloe T.

Yelp
Lovely evening at the rooftop. It's a nice spotting for summer hangout /HH. Drinks were pretty decent. Food was delicious. Do not order the fries. I repeat do NOT. I'm the fries was so crunchy and well seasoned that I finished them all lol. We got the chicken sandwich with GF bread, flat bread, and crispy Brussels sprouts. Everything was tasty. Lovely view and customer service.

Mellissa J.

Yelp
The food was great but service not at all. For paying all that money I'd rather just order to go and not tip at all. We were having a girls night celebrating a promotion. Place was a bit dead which we didn't mind. There was about 2 big parties of 6 and 5 small tables it was pretty empty. We ordered a bottle of champagne and a virgin mojito. They brought our champagne and we were told they would bring a chiller for it never received it and we had 2 waitstaff tell us. Then the mojito had 1 sprig of mint and so we asked if they could add more mint and that took about 10-15 min to get back at our table. Then we had asked for coffee with creamer and we had to ask for the creamer 3x and still we never received so we drank our coffee black. It was 3 of us who came in and 2 of us had never been there but 1 had and the waiter had told or oh you've been here why are you coming back. Well now all of us will definitely not be back.

Yelp
This place was amazing! We went for lunch as a big group we had reservations for the bachelorette crew. The food was amazing! They have a $30 all you can drink mimosas for 90 minutes and let me tell you it was so worth it. The staff was amazing! They had a live dj Cris who was so cool and he was playing all the good songs ! We tried the wagyu burger (very decently priced ) and it was amazing! I ate half I was stuffed ! I shared a plate of pork belly Benedict I believe it was called and it was so good! As a group we ordered the calamari and it was spectacular! This place and the ambiance was a major hit!!! Definitely recomend !

Yelp
For reasons that will become clear, I'm hesitant to rate this spot at this time... (but harassing notifications...). I will warn you that I'm being generous because our experience was foiled by Mother Nature--she got away with a whole star & wanted to shave off more, but we were determined to look past her. Our visit to STK Rooftop was during the winter and after some unusual rainy days (for San Diego). However, time off and reservations had been arranged, so we stuck to our plan. The rooftop views were vast, but this early-January evening had decided to serve them in sepia tones. We were one of three groups braving the chilly rooftop temps. Zipped up tight in a fleece, our host-waitress was very pleasant and helpful. We ordered ceviche, short rib tacos, brussel sprouts and drinks (one of which was an adult hot chocolate). Portions are as expected for a loungy, rooftop evening unwind. It was all quite fine, but I felt we were paying, in part, for the view. I suppose that's to be expected for a primo city rooftop experience (which we will have to revisit and reevaluate in better weather). The space is huge with lots of beautiful seating options. I don't remember any music...maybe because I had to wear a hat

Yelp
The food was really good! I got the chicken and waffle(forgot to get a photo) but highly recommend. I also got the pretzel croissant sandwich that was good as well. Also ordered the bottomless mimosa and the view was nice as well. The staff was friendly and recommended good choices.

Yelp
Food was very good, delicious drinks. Customer service was amazing. Perfect for a afternoon out, date night. The view is amazing especially during sunset.

Yelp
During the day pool and the bar are packed. There are other table sitting area that are blocked off for event. We enjoyed some afternoon flat bread snack and drinks. It was pretty good except not enough sitting. During the morning of next day, we have our breakfast at The Rooftop by STK. It was a bit windy but there was table setup instead of lounge sofa and tiny table stand. Still the big part of sittings is block off. During breakfast there are heat lamps to provide some warmness since it is open air and windy. There were 2 bartenders that was serving all of the breakfast tables. Breakfast was decent and we hang out with friend's family.

Yelp
PSA: even though reservations are available via Yelp...you may or may not show up to find that there is not, in fact, any table service. Total bummer. I came here for a Yelp event a few weeks back and thought it was a great spot- beautiful view, ample seating, and friendly, albeit, slow service. I made a Resi for dinner for my Meetup group. Imagine my embarrassment when we showed up and it turned out that they didn't do dinner service. This is not the type of place where it's comfortable to eat in the lounge area so we opted to walk a few blocks somewhere else. Very disappointing.

Yelp
My review is solely based on my personal grab and go experience! Was looking for a quick beverage and caffeine pickup while attending an event at the Andaz Hotel, so I opted to try out the coffee/beverage bar up on the rooftop. I chose a hot matcha latte with soy and it was fairly very much average, but below a 3 star. Honestly would put a 1 star, but I don't want to completely judge the place off one single beverage. The matcha flavor was super light and basically just tasted like warm milk. I spent nearly $8. I do wonder how the food is! Maybe my review would be different. There was also a huge plant in the way of the bar ledge to order which was not a problem at all but an random inconvenient barrier went talking to the associate and ordering. She said they had an event the other day and they just never moved it out of the way.

Yelp
Parking was going to be psychotic, so I hope to the end from the corner of 9th and B. ., Combined with leaving early to make sure I got a parking spot brought me to the stunning rooftop of STK by 5:00! This review will be completed later... Stand by for more!
