"I saw the glitzy global steakhouse from The ONE Group debut at Andaz San Diego over the weekend. It's a modern steakhouse paired with a chic lounge featuring leather banquettes; the elevated dining room has theatrical lights that illuminate each table, windows overlooking the Gaslamp, and a DJ dropping beats. The menu pairs steakhouse staples such as beef and fish with popular STK dishes including parmesan truffle fries, Lil’ BRGs, tuna tartare, and sweet corn pudding. STK first announced San Diego expansion plans in 2015 and has taken over an 8,410-square-foot space that sat empty since Katsuya shuttered in 2014, after The ONE Group took over all food-and-beverage operations at Andaz last fall." - Susan Stapleton
