Great old school bar I've been coming for about 5 years now. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Do a good old fashioned & martinis. Great back patio where they have bands in the summer and plenty of room.

Probably my favorite bar in dt meridian! It can get busy on weekends nights, especially the patio since its shared with Frontier, but its always so chill during weekday nights so its perfect to go grab a good cocktail. Inside is a little small so when its busy it can get a little claustrophobic but thats the case with any bar, really.. Their signature drinks are so good and they have a full bar plus stuff on tap, and drinks are reasonably priced. Love the food truck out back too!! Bartenders are usually always friendly. Good vibes all around.

If you’re looking for a drink after 10 pm, this is a great place to go in downtown Meridian. The area is quaint with plenty of parking nearby. The interior has a cozy, rustic feel which gives it character, somewhat like the set on the old sitcom “Cheers” where you meet friends and want to stay awhile. The drink menu was vast with offering well drinks, local beer and craft cocktails. I didn’t see a food menu so I cannot comment on that. For the warmer nights an outdoor/patio seating was available. It was busy when we arrived at 11:00 pm but immediate seating was available. Service was prompt and the overall pricing was great.

Checked out The Roosevelt was a fun little place to grab drinks at. We ordered the Wild Berry Mint Press, I heard this is one of their best drinks and it was delicious! I also ordered the Cadillac Margarita because I love me a good margarita! Bartenders were great! Drinks were delicious. It was hard to find a table when we went, but someone ended up letting us grab their table when they were leaving. Cute place but be prepared for a crowd! It seems to be a favorite around town!

St Patrick's was my first time visiting this place. The lucky charms drink changed my life. Seriously, yum. The "frothy French martini" is one of the best drinks I've ever had. The Manhattan was great as well. The bartenders were nice, efficient, and the drinks were strong. The other customers contributed to an overall positive experience. New favorite bar!

Great whiskey bar with a food truck and an outdoor patio that includes a very large gaming area. Large selection of top shelf spirits and a menu of delicious drinks prepared by their knowledgeable staff make it a fantastic place to enjoy an adult beverage. I highly recommend it.

The Roosevelt Bar is an excellent place to grab a drink and unwind after a long day or after dining out. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with a mix of turn of the century feel with the brick walls but a motif of Moose, Bear, and Elk décor, and burl wood tables in the booths with dim lighting. Even with the taxidermy the vibe was more upscale and clean. They have a great selection of drinks. The bartenders, or should I say mixologists, are knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to make recommendations based on your tastes. The menu has a good variety of options, from classic cocktails to local beers and wines. We had Old Fashions, and they were mixed perfect with a lot of flavors with orange peel and black cherry. The cubes of ice are large rounds that prevents getting that splash on your lip full of crushed or cubed ice and kept the drink chilled to the last drop. There is a food truck just outside that can be accessed by The Roosevelt and the neighbor bar the Frontier. Overall, The Roosevelt Bar is a must-visit spot in Meridian, Idaho for anyone who enjoys a great drink and a relaxed atmosphere.

We stopped in here after driving by for months! What a mistake that was - this is a real gem! What a mistake we made not coming in sooner. The atmosphere and bartenders were great. The selection of various bottles is fantastic and the menu of signature cocktails is extensive. The decor is right out of Yellowstone, just wait for one of the Duttons to stop in!

Loved loved loved the Mai Tai!! Not super sweet, great amount of rum! The Whisky Sour- props for including egg white, but dddaaammnnn- the sour was definitely sour. Not bad- just sour. Love the outdoor space and the bartenders vibe was awesome! Cheers!

The drinks are awesome. We had the polar expresso and it was delicious. We have been back several times and it's a good experience.

Great drinks but wish they had food, at least simple snacks. You can only drink so much without balancing with food. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Such a great spot in downtown Meridian. The menu of cocktails and service are top notch. I'd argue there's not a better place in Meridian for an old fashioned. They do a great job with presentation and put the time in to ensure each one is as consistent as the last. The atmosphere and diversity of people is refreshing, great to have a positive vibe with an eclectic group. Seating is limited, however you can comfortably stand or sit out by the fire pit, even when it's a bit chilly! No food but from what I hear, the taco truck out back does not disappoint, going to try it one of these days. It's pricey but you get what you pay for, well worth a splurge, especially if you're into trying new whiskey or tasting something rare (they've got Pappy for those who REALLY want to spend!). Great job Roosevelt, keep rockin'!

Nice bar, but lacking in service. Went with 3 girlfriends and we found a table to sit at. We sat for several minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff. No menus on the tables and we finally figured out that we had to go to the bar to order. When one in my group asked if they had drink menus the bartender just pointed to chalkboards on the walls with a handful of drinks. So we each ordered, were essentially sent back to our table, and then hollered at when our drinks were ready to pick up at the bar. The drinks were good and a decent price. But I won't be back. Too many other places to get drinks that provide much better service. And food!

This is a really cool bar! It looks old school with the wood panels & moose heads. They have a cool extensive drink menu, but beware they come with a big price tag! I wanted an espresso martini, but they don't have an espresso machine, just FYI. There is an outdoor area where you can hang out at a table or play corn hole.

I am so glad my husband and I discovered this place. We have now been a handful of times. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. The service is always awesome. Not to mention the great food that you can order from the saloon next door!

Found this place on a whim. I was blown away at the selection of bottles they have including their own version of the Makers Special Select. Most impressive. Immediately we were greeted by the Bartender (Adam) with a friendly smile and a make your self at home. Which we did. LOL Adam made some excellent cocktails and had wonderful incite on others that I will try next time. Service was on point the entire evening from every employee. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a craft cocktail in Meridian and visit this location. Well Done!!!!!!

Beautiful atmosphere for a date night, girls night or a solo night out. I loved the espresso martini and the service was amazing as well. Kind staff that's great at making a tasty drink.

Really nice cocktail bar. Prices are decent and the drinks are delicious. They only have a few beers on tap, but the ones that they had were delicious. Friendly and competent bartenders. On the quiet side so you can have a conversation

Ambiance: let me just brag about the energy of this place. AMAZING! If you want a new/secret/hidden location away from downtown this is it! I love everything about this location. Drinks: 3 stars for our drinks, it appeared to be somewhat watered down but it had a delightful taste. I had the old fashion and it was good. The presentation seemed to lack the "wow" factor, but overall it tasted good. Service: 3 stars. Our server didn't seem to know much about drinks and seemed a little reserved. I always love when a server can guide our decision or make a drink I've never had but he stuck to what I liked. Overall it was a good experience! Music was on point! Def coming back and hope to give 5 stars soon!

Downtown Meridian has a bar worthy of any big city downtown. The Roosevelt is a bar that offers historical vibes, warm wood decor, classy but casual style, and a great bar to pony up too. The Roosevelt provides seating at the bar, in private booths, and out back on their patio. The patio offers plenty of seating with a food truck near by. The Roosevelt is super clean with a great bartender (Alex i believe was his name). If you are in downtown Meridian and looking for a well made cocktail, the Roosevelt will not disappoint. This place is a great addition for Meridian and I look forward to many drinks in the future. Cheers Always!

This place is a gem and a great addition to downtown Meridian. They have a great selection of high-quality bourbon and whiskeys with the atmosphere. That is second to none and bartenders. Should definitely know what they're doing. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous and such a great vibe! The decor was so unique and classy. This place is spotless. The bartender made some awesome drinks!! He was fun to watch, like watching an artist create his masterpiece. Most beautiful bar I've been to in the Boise/Meridian area!

Super cute bar with fabulous drinks and a great patio. The patio has plenty of seating with a taco truck. The artichoke taco is a must.

Best bar in downtown Meridian! This place has a nice vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was not very crowded when we were here but it was very early. The drinks were good and the staff was friendly. I wish they had a larger cocktail menu. They offer a few on a board but it is not enough. That is my only feedback for the place. We will definitely return.

This reminds me of a local in St. Yves my gran'pa used to rave about. The rough brick walls and the dark polished wood booths. And the whiskey display...great setting. A very comfortable place to meet friends and enjoy some amazing drinks and discussion. The staff are fantastic. Adam and Alex, Janea and Trevor make the place buzz. The regulars welcome everyone. And if you need a charge, walk across the back patio, past the food truck with the delicious tacos, and hit the Frontier. A good time is guaranteed for all.

Awesome local watering hole with an awesome vibe. We had several drinks here and all were delicious. The outdoor area is perfect to enjoy the great weather too.

Alex and cam are the bomb! I would be here daily if I wasn't poor. Lots of great bourbons to dink and killer mixed drinks to enjoy. Stop in and have a libation, tell Alex I sent ya!

I've been visiting the Roosevelt for a long time and while I like the vibe and style I was always bothered with how they ran the service part of it. I often struggled to get a drink and spent way too much time standing awkwardly in a non existent line trying to get the bar tenders attention. Then a few months ago they added a server to the floor and it was a game changer!!! Now I can enjoy my great seat and not waste half my time hoping I can get a drink. The service is top notch now anytime the server (Maiyan) is there. She is the best! Not only does she keep my glass full, but she's so friendly and she makes all the difference in this place. I sure hope this business knows how much providing this server makes to patrons. I hear people comment on it all the time! If they didn't add this level of service I think I would give up on this place and find a new place to spend my time where people are looking to serve me vs me begging for service!

I Judge every bar by the quality of their old-fashioned this did not pass my test. Decor and patio are great but their drinks are just OK

Great vibe, good cocktails, & good friendly service. Diverse demographic w all ages. They have an outdoor seating area as well. Nice hangout overall.

Pretty much one of the best bars around at the moment. Real quality. If you want a top notch cocktail or a beer you won't find much better. The prices are fantastic and the bartenders are beyond amazing! 100% recommend this place

Great bartenders good atmosphere and the food truck had great affordable Mexican food

I can't speak to the rest of the bartenders but the two that were on shift when I visited did not know how to properly make or serve a whiskey sour or an old fashioned. The lackluster cocktail craftsmanship was a disgrace to this places unique wooden and brick aesthetic and quite frankly was demeaning to the spirits that they used. My sour was made with a "wet shake" of cubed ice and served in a glass full of cubed ice. They did not perform a "dry shake" to really emulsify the mixture and get that classic froth from the egg white that a good sour really deserves.. and frankly they didn't use enough simple syrup if any to balance out the pucker of the lemon juice and give it that hint of sweetness. The old fashion was a nightmare as well. Only 2 sips into enjoying it and it tasted like a watered down whiskey and coke. A mixed drink of wells liquor and soda can be served in a glass filled to the brim of cubed ice but a sour, old fashion, etcetera should not and should be served with a large whiskey cube, sphere, or an old school big chunk of ice broken off a block. Also.. the bartender with the mullet was rude. We approached the bar and a friend asked for a menu and he was like "we have two menus" in an annoyed tone and pointed towards the wall... I didn't even know where he was pointing. It was as if he meant to say "Hey idiot do you need new glasses the menu's are right here, thanks for making my day harder than it needs to be." He also VERY forcefully asked for our ID's. We're in a mid 20's... young enough to be ID'd at every bar but not young enough to look like a couple high schoolers walking in with fake ID's. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience. The looks of this bar would make you think they have better craftsmen behind the bar and better service but I received service akin to a college bar where nobody cares about the quality of drinks only the alcohol within them.

Awesome lounge/bar with really cool vibes. They have a very unique selection of cocktails using a lot of local craft spirits. Really love the individual booths so you get a little bit of a privacy but still feel like you're in a social setting. And you got a love the live edge wood everywhere.

This place is gorgeous! Alex is an incredible bartender. They are open now, they close at 10pm, I believe they are open Wednesday - Saturday. Do yourself a favor and order an Old Fashion, they're dank.

First time here. Cool wood and rustic decor with cozy booths inside and a big patio outside. Upscale type of bar with Mexican food truck out back. No waiters that service tables and you order your drinks at bar and make a separate order of food out back at the food truck. Food truck owner was super cool and food was good but seemed like it didn't fit the bar. Had a handful of beers on tap and a bunch of specialty mixed drinks which were good. I would go back again.

Customer service is excellent, the prices are fair, the atmosphere is great and the drinks are delicious. Alex the bartender is insanely good, very impressive at what what he does.

Classic saloon with modern tasty cocktails. One of the best in Meridian. I recommend the basil gimlet.

We had a great date night here this past Friday! Love the ambiance and super tasty (and affordable!) cocktails and Alex was a gem of a bartender! We will be back soon! TY!
