The Round House, Covent Garden

Stopped here randomly on the lunch hour during a day-long walk around the city. Bright, welcoming space with a decent beer selection and a nice array of toasted sandwiches available (we had the ham and cheese - excellent.) The young man on duty was somehow managing to serve the entire pub single-handedly and still had to time to answer tourist questions ("what's a cask ale?"). High marks all round.

A nice traditional pub with an interesting history situated a couple of minutes from Covent Garden. Good range of drinks and a simple menu of burgers and toasties. Friendly atmosphere and nice and light interior. Prices typical for the area. £17 for glass of wine and a pint.

We loved the place, the beer, and the service. We always prioritise places that aren't packed with tourists, and this is one of those places. For those who want to experience local life without the hassle of tourists just wanting to take Instagram photos, this is the ideal spot

I went here for some dessert. It is an Italian restaurant. The place was full on a weekday night, but when I requested the staff that I was there for just a dessert and I won't take long, they accommodated me :) the tiramisu was nice! Would certainly love to visit again for some pasta :) good food, good ambience, great service!

Went in for an early afternoon drink. All people in our group agreed that it was one of the best pints we'd had in London. Obviously very well looked after lines.

The staff are friendly and welcoming but the pub is clearly a tourist pub. Very strange atmosphere. Toilets need looking at too

Lovely cute little pub in the heart of London with a stellar bartender! Jonathan didn't go the extra mile, he went the extra parsec!!! I wasn't sure about the pale ale (tiny rebel) and the gentleman offered me a "shot" of it, without me even asking, even did a nice joke, and was knowledgeable about it. I've worked in the customer service industry for decades, and I'd love to have him in my team!! Give that gentleman a raise!!

Follows the standard Fuller's decor, which does work and gives the impression of authenticity in and amongst a tourist spot. Staff was friendly, both upon arrival and exit. However downmarking must come to prices, £7.15 for a bottle of Honey Dew is pushing the parameters of acceptability.
