Chiang Mai’s royal projects are ensuring a culinary legacy - SilverKris

"Set on Doi Inthanon, this long-running Royal Project hub teaches Karen and Hmong villagers modern techniques while cultivating a remarkable range of produce: hydroponic nurseries raise temperate crops like fennel and celery; flower gardens burst with rhododendrons and gerberas; and highland fisheries rear rainbow trout, sturgeon and crayfish, harvesting their caviar. Its sheep farm supplies wool that Hmong villagers weave into scarves, and staff credit the Projects with restoring forests and water to the mountain, with bounty from Doi Inthanon dispatched to hotels, restaurants and supermarkets in Chiang Mai and beyond." - cooper

Beautiful gardens and very quiet. In my opinion one of the more attractive areas of doi inthanon. Not really a place with any views but massive variety of flowers

We absolutely loved this garden — it’s truly a magical place! Everywhere you look, there are colorful flowers, beautiful photo spots, and peaceful corners to rel

It is a beautiful botanical garden located in Doi Inthanon National Park. It is surrounded by stunning mountains and is covered with lakes, gardens, and beautiful flowers. It is very well-maintained and has walking paths through the picturesque garden. It is usually empty and quiet if you visit early, which means you can enjoy the serenity more. It also has a cafe and very clean restrooms. Great for floral photography.

It's a must when come up to Doi Inthanond. Garden arrangements is amazing. Only 20 baht per person. Fabulous view and settings.

If you live flowers this is a nice place but I've been to a few agricultural areas and after a few minutes they all feel the same. The restaurant there was quite busy but after I finished my walk around it was empty so food came fast. Good food too. My biggest issue was that when coming into the national park it cost me 300 baht vs the 50 for a Thai person. Absurd price difference.

Beautiful and well kept garden with loads of different plants. We visited in December and had many beautiful flowers to gaze upon. With the ticket you have to buy at the entrance of the national park you’ll get access to the garden.
