This is an incredible historic building from 1914 that used to be a post office and retains stunning elements, such as an antique elevator stained glass ceiling and original tiles. My waiter was very attentive and kind. However, what really bothered me was that the photo shoot that was happening right in front of me for promotional purposes took priority over me, a paying guest: I clearly saw that the photo models got their 4 drinks for the shoot first, while I waited for my single drink. I even saw that one of the drinks was my exact Cafecito Martini, but in a bigger and nicer glass. The bartender spent all his time making the drinks for the photo shoot instead of for me, a client. And the managers or owners were walking around it, and also focusing their attention entirely on the photo shoot. The photo shoot coordinators were pulling objects, such as books and decor items straight out from under me where I was sitting to use for the shoot. This is a typical case of being unable to see the forest because of the trees: you are doing the photo shoot for marketing purposes, so that you can have a bigger audience to attract to your bar and yet there is a paying guest right in front of you, who you do not take care of.
