A talented chef serving exceptional food, it is a beautiful place with great staff and a relaxed atmosphere. I think this was our 6th visit and it been top notch every time. Can’t wait to go again well worth a visit if you haven’t been before.

We were thoroughly impressed, one of the best restaurants in the Ribble valley for sure. The food was extremely well priced for the quality, with perfect portion sizes that left us satisfied without being overwhelmed. The menu was excellently balanced, the starters and desserts were real standouts. Staff were warm and welcoming. The pub itself is beautifully designed, blending traditional character with modern touches seamlessly. Even the bathrooms were thoughtfully and stylishly done. A real gem—highly recommended

Me and my partner have been to Rum Fox 🦊 on many occasions, and it’s by far our favourite place to dine. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding — every dish is beautifully presented and packed with flavour. Whether it’s a casual meal or a special occasion, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The service is second to none. The staff are attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do, which really adds to the experience. I also love the touch of the hand bag holders 👜 If you’re looking for a place where you’ll always leave satisfied and planning your next visit, Rum Fox is it. Highly recommend!

We are blessed in the Ribble Valley to have lots of great food / restaurants in beautiful locations. We looked forward to our visit and the food was ok - but not amazing and expensive for what you got- especially compared to many of the alternatives nearby- It may be due to the choices we made from the menu but it was, heavy and a bit claggy even as pub food - drinks coming in at £15 was tough too - Service was fast and polite, water readily available and restaurant was spotless

We were incredibly lucky to celebrate our wedding here, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. The food? Absolutely out of this world. The seven-course dinner was, hands down, the best meal we've ever had in our lives. Every dish was perfectly crafted, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, a true culinary masterpiece. From the moment we reached out, Dan’s communication was outstanding. Planning a wedding from Canada could have been stressful, but Dan made the entire process smooth, fun, and completely stress-free. He went above and beyond to accommodate every request, and his attention to detail was flawless. Bob and the entire team provided exceptional service that made us and our guests feel so special from start to finish. The venue itself is breathtaking, warm, elegant, and full of charm inside and out. You can feel the love and care that goes into everything they do. This place is destined for a Michelin star. Without a doubt, The Rum Fox deserves more than just a 5-star review. Thank you, Dan, Bob, and the entire team, for making our celebration so magical. Had a perfect relaxing lunch in the garden room. The setting is beautiful on a sunny day- I felt like I was sat in a cool terrace bar in Mallorca rather than a pub in deepest Lancashire. The steak pudding was the best I've ever had and the staff the friendliest I've ever met. Treat yourself, you won't regret it!
