Plant Miami Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"Plant is a sleek, modern vegan restaurant near Wynwood. It’s located on an impressively large property that looks like the estate of a very healthy CEO of some impossibly rich tech company, with lots of open windows that give a nice view of the courtyard. They serve tweezer food that’s a little pricey and just okay, though. None of the food is so offensive that you’ll want to walk out, but the jackfruit tacos are a little hard to chew, the mamey asado looks better than it tastes, and nothing quite blows your mind." - Ryan Pfeffer

Went to a meditation session in the "Container", a small studio with a capacity of 40 people. It was a peaceful, open, minimalist space. The teacher was compassionate and organized. Session consisted of partner interactions, hot tea, tarot cards, essential oil spray, recorded sound bath and music, deep breathing exercises, rain stick, and journaling. Everyone was accepting and friendly. The grounds were lovely and serene. Note that if you get there early you wait outside the large steel walls until a staff member opens them.

We loved the place but not the yoga lol, it was a techno Californian version of Yoga, so different of the original one it shouldn't being called yoga, is misleading, I'm sure is amazing to some, but overall yoga have many meanings and all of them are related with peace and mindfulness, this was a bit of techno/dance

I have both attended and hosted events at The Sacred Space Miami and can highly recommend them for both experiences. It is a great venue for the conscious community and their staff is extremely on the mark when it comes to delivering entertaining events. It has a great mix of indoor and outdoor space and is located right next door to Plant Miami.

A very nice secluded place with inside dining and an open terrace and garden. Beautifully served plant based dishes, delicate flavours. Great service. You get to know every main ingredient used in your order if you accept your server's explanation. I was there for Sunday Brunch and ate outside and everything was very nice. There's valet parking inside and also street parking.

The Plant Resturant! What the heck is Vegan? After 73 years, I thought I'd try a "healthy meal". I was early for a conference and thirsty. The Bourbon was served with the proper cube, so right away I'm in the right place. The young lady explained in detail the various choices but I left it to her. Well I know a little bit more and will definetly go again and bring friends. The Banana Leaf Tamale just blew me away. Take the time (if your a novice like me) to study the menu on line. I really never new healthy could be that much fun.

Ate a five course vegan meal with an Alaskan couple at an advanced cafeteria-lunch table. Kanye Sunday Service-esque therapeutic lighting. Oddly retrograde meat and potatoes music from the DJ whose wide-brimmed hat promised more. Thriller and dad-rock drowning out our conversation, which was a misstep considering the community-building aspiration of the event. Solid venue, though.

I loooooved this place, I knew I will when I saw the pictures online, but beleive me when I tell you that this is a greatt place for events like the one we went for the SEED Feed Festival. Yes, I know the Miami weather sometimes doesn't help because it might be too hot, but since they have some trees and tables underneath, the heat was not as bad. Parking is better on the streets but not the ones close by, try to go a block or tw away to avoid delays.

Great place esthetically beautiful. Although o did not try the restaurant there, Plant, the space hosts an array of events, teachers lectures from yoga/meditation to small concerts such as the one I attended. It's a very special place.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe! The venue is great for yoga, meditation and any other spiritual/social events. I have been here for a few yoga classes and they all have been amazing. There is the main area which is clean and spacious and they also have a separate container which is smaller but also great for yoga and meditation. There is also a vegan restaurant and store where you can buy essential oils, herbs, beauty products, candles, stones, etc. they are on the expensive side but they have a nice variety of products. For parking, you can do valet or you can park on the street using the pay to park app. I would recommend visiting this place if you are in the area!

Yelp
Such a cool spot for large events! We had a company event here and it was so fun to have such a large and beautiful space to mix and mingle. Great food and live music and bar options if you were to host here

Yelp
As an event space, this place is versatile. Note, I came as a volunteer, not as an organizer. The most memorable piece of Sacred Space is the movable walls, that could become a divider, a hallway, an extension of the wall, etc. There is a small space to set-up a bar in the main entrance way, two unisex bathrooms in the middle room, and a small but fully functional kitchen that opens up into the main space. The ambiance was very mellow, with dim, blue lighting and tea candles all around. The fact that the space was so large yet clean was amazing! The rooms are incredibly echo-y though, so careful what you say. Lastly, the only downside is valet only parking. I found a single parking space down the street (one side is Pay by Phone, the other side is straight dirt) but I arrived hours earlier than any guest.

Yelp
My family and I visited this space for the first time to attend an event by the Seed Food Festival. There is a very large patio/lawn area great for outdoor concerts, yoga, and festival type activities. There is also an indoor space that could be used for indoor concerts, fashion shows, Comedy shows, Art shows, and even a large Dining room, among many other things. My family and I really enjoyed this space!

Yelp
The best place to do Sadhana! (Kundalini yoga practice before sunrise) Thanks for the service, thanks for the energy, thanks for everything.

Yelp
Went there twice in a weekend it was that amazing. The first time for a 5 Star plant-based dinner made by amazing Chef's from all over the world. The second time for a yoga/meditation brunch event with Seed Wine food and Festival. The space is definitely a beautiful space. The neighborhood will throw you off at first but once you see walk inside, it is breath takingly beautiful.

Yelp
Gorgeous spot for events and even to unwind if you're at Plant Miami after dinner or while having drinks. I came here last night for a Telemundo event and I just loved the open space with all of the trees, it truly looked and felt magical. Looking forward to coming back here again whether I get invited for an event again or just to hang out after eating at Plant Miami or being in the area.

Yelp
A friend of mine reached out to me about tickets he had to a popup restaurant at this location. I decided to go on a random Tuesday this week. The place is easy to find. It is at the end of a street. There is little to no parking. They had valet, but we opted for street parking about a block away. The front is enclosed with a fence, so it is difficult to see it, but you can observe the lights illuminating trees within. We entered and were immediately stunned at the entrance. There is a very large patio with a reflection pond, patio seating, tables, grassy areas. It was gorgeous! The different colored lights made it look so serene. The building portion is to the right and is all glass windows. Essentially, there are different sized rooms to be in with different decor. All the rooms at white. There is a large lotus abstract piece on the wall when you first walk in. There are neon lights throughout that brighten it up. This would be a fantastic space for a wedding, birthday party, celebration, etc. I am not sure whether the staff worked for the venue or for the popup but they were awesome!! The place was clean and they were tidying up the whole time. The floors weren't slippery, which I appreciate in heels. The only downside and why it is only 4 stars is because there are only 3 bathrooms that were made available to us. For a venue the size of this, it is a little frustrating to have to wait in line!

Yelp
I get that everything is raw and vegan but some effort in taste can be improved. Otherwise very nice restaurant.

Yelp
What an oasis!! Hard to believe this truly Sacred Space is in the heart of Miami. Simply beautiful. Aside from being the perfect event space and a gorgeous venue for lunch or dinner at Plant, you can really take a break from it all with a wonderful yoga practice. I know there are several offerings, however my favorite class to take (in all Miami, really) is the one taught by Michelle Berlin. She combines traditional yogic teachings with healing sounds from diverse instruments and powerful meditation techniques that will leave you feeling as if you went on a mini vacation. Give it a try- you will love it!!

Yelp
Urban oasis for a retreat into a truly sacred space, so easy to get to, yet you enter another world. This is a high vibe experience for the seeker, the gourmand and the conscious adventurer. Did i say how beautiful the high concept design is for the esthetic culturalists and enthusiasts are in a space that touts Love is Everything? You can feel it!!!Plant Food + Wine is Divine with a capital D for Delicious. My faves are the kimchi dumplings, the raw lasagne, as i'm a marinara lover, and the caccio di pepe sea kelp noodles, the artisanal "cheese" plate. . .and the bahn mi wraps. So many choices. Then all the cool events happening at The Sacred Space Miami for community gathering and transformational teachers are inspiring, fun, and elevating. I am partial to Prayerdanse, the signature movement practice on Sundays.

Yelp
Plant Miami has fantastic vegan food! This restaurant is a real gem! The Sacred Space is such a beautiful oasis! I've been to several events; meditation, shamanic healing, etc. Highly recommend this venue!

Yelp
Lovely! The outdoor area is beautiful and very peaceful. We came here for Conscious Bite Out. It was the perfect venue for the event. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Very unprofessional company. Sacred is NOT the right word to describe this place. They can't even keep a mere appointment. If looking for a truly sacred space, this isn't it. Look elsewhere!

Yelp
Of all of the venues I teach at around America The Sacred Space is by far the best. One of the most beautiful and def the largest conscious event spaces ever.

Yelp
The Sacred Space Miami is a stunning space, with beautiful lighting and fantastic sound. From wonderful wellness events to great community events such as a monthly vegan series " conscious bite out" to the weekly conscious movement practice- Prayerdanse, TSS always has something unique and special to offer. Gorgeous gardens with funky whimsical furnishings, reflection pools & the restaurant Plant Food + Wine Miami, really make The Sacred Space an absolutely unique, one of a kind establishment in Miami not only for the conscious community, but for anyone open to new experiences. Highly recommended!

Yelp
A true oasis of beauty and tranquility. So modern and inspired. I have been here for Prayerdanse, Pechakucha Nights and a few other events, the lighting and sound are state of the art, not to mention that Plant Food + Wine is right next door :) No wonder it's called The Sacred Space.

Yelp
If you are thinking about having an important event at Sacred Space - DON'T DO IT. While the physical space is beautiful, the staff is not, particularly the person who handled my daughter's wedding there last week - Jennifer. She made the planning of the event very frustrating and ruined what should have been a joyous time. Throughout the planning, she didn't answer emails, texts or phone messages even though the subjects were critical to the event. During the week before the wedding, she reversed her agreement to let us drop off things the day before; she wouldn't give the bride a space to change her dress (this was resolved when in desperation we asked the owner who gave us a space to use); when we went for a walk-through with the caterer, Jennifer never stopped texting, laughing while looking at her phone and was not engaged or interested in us at all. The only thing she kept telling us was that we had to whisper because another event was taking place in the building - although we had scheduled the walk-though. Months before the wedding, my daughter ordered a particular kind of wine and although they gave her a price and accepted payment for the wine, they called her one week before the wedding to tell her to find another wine because they couldn't get that one. The signature drinks that my daughter ordered were watery and full of syrup although we purchased top shelf liquor. Although the space was beautiful, I would never have another event there and strongly suggest you don't sign up to be disrespected, ignored and over-charged either.

Yelp
I came to this restaurant with a friend to show how beautiful it is. It wasnt my first time there. I told the waiter my friend would join in 15 minutes and ordered a drink. The waiter kept bothering me every minute asking if i wanted to order anything and I DID ORDER a drink! The place was half empty andi didnt see the urge to push me so hard to make an order. My friend came in 20 min and the waiter walked up to her asking what she wanted to eat. She replied she had eaten and she would take a drink, which made a waiter crew up his face. He kept coming every 2 minutes which was too much and annoying. Then he came back again saying he was leaving so we decided he wanted tips. I waved to him as he was far at the register, instead another waiter came and asked aggressively if we wanted anything. I explained that we just wanted to speak to the other guy, to which a new waiter replied:" Im your waiter, The other guy has checked out already, and he is not going to speak to you!!!" wow!!! That was so rude. We stood up to leave at this point as it was time to go and the new waiter jumped up to the table with a bill and asked loudly and aggressively (again) how much tip we were going to pay. That was the last straw for us!!!My friends first time at this place and she was so shocked at the service and attitude of the waiters. I left 12%tip , even though i shouldnt have left anything for that attitude, which again made the new waiter angry. He had balls to come back to us and ask if that was it. Yes, dude!!! you dont deserve anything. He didnt do a thing for us besides giving angry faces. And im not mentioning the ridiculous prices they charge, guys! I would never go back there!!!The setting is beautiful though....
