Much-Anticipated Miami Doughnut Shop Sets an Opening Date in Dallas - Eater Dallas

"The Salty Donut, a beloved Miami doughnut shop, is set to open its first Dallas location on June 2. The bakery, known for its sweet-and-savory doughnuts, gluten-free baked goods, coffee, and other breakfast items, will initially offer pickup and delivery services due to the pandemic. The Dallas outpost will feature unique Texas-centric doughnuts such as the Lone Star, a star-shaped pastry filled with ruby red grapefruit curd, and the Peach Cobbler, a vegan doughnut with caramelized peaches. The shop has launched a 'doughnut lottery' to build hype, allowing locals to win pre-opening packs of doughnuts and baked goods." - Brittanie Shey

Google
The donuts were good, but dare a say a little too thick? You’ll need to have a pretty big mouth to bite into their donuts, and don’t get me wrong they’re good but just enough to satisfy a donut craving. I did like that they were overpoweringly sweet like some donuts can be. The chocolate cake donut was a little dry, the horchata was good, but not anything too special and didn't make sense to me because it lacked cinnamon, and the glazed donut was good for what it was… a simple glazed donut.

Absolutely loved this little coffee and donut gem in Dallas! The vibes are warm and laid-back, with a cozy aesthetic that makes you want to stay a while. The donut options are where it really shines—unique, creative flavors that go way beyond the usual. I had a matcha pistachio that was unforgettable, and the coffee was just as good. A perfect spot for a treat or just to chill.

Google
This donut shop is a gem! The donuts were fresh and fluffy, with a fantastic variety of classic and creative flavors. The glaze on the original glazed was perfect – sweet but not overwhelming. Plus, the coffee was a great complement. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere make this a must-visit for any donut lover. Highly recommend!

Google
Amazing donuts, amazing selection. I went in for one donut to try for a craving that hit, and left with four donuts and a latte. The donuts were the one-day featured French toast donut (amazing), brown butter salt, glazed, and the churro dulce de leche star. I also thought I would give the other 3 donuts I’d bought for my coworkers, but ended up having to try all of the ones I’d got once I got to my car… maybe next time… I don’t think the cinnamon cereal milk latte was meant to be cold however, as the syrup sat solidly and slimily at the bottom and occasionally would get sucked up and stuck in the straw which was not my favorite… but I’d definitely try the same thing hot next time, or a different iced latte next time! Highly recommend!!

Good donuts. Friendly staff. Really nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. There was one gluten free donut option in chocolate.

Google
This is not good at all and way too thick. Such a waste of money. My son asked for a dozen donuts. They said they do not sell them by the dozen. So he brought home 3 glaze and 3 chocolate for like $16+ and we aren’t eating any of them because they are nasty and thick. We tried but it’s too thick and griddy. Not to mention the wait was far too long. They did attempt to compensate with a free vegan peanut butter donut which was also nasty. We will not be back not will I refer anyone to this place.

Google
We had the best experience at The Salty Donut in Bishop Arts District. The super warm greeting as we walked in from all the ladies behind the counter, to the excellent recommendations and quality donuts make this a location I will frequently be returning to! Mary Anna went above and beyond to provide us excellent service, she and her team are fantastic! Everyone was so great and provided excellent customer service which is hard to find nowadays.

Google
The aesthetics are amazing, the matcha was decent, but not very grassy. The donuts and the poptart are homemade, fresh and delicious

Yelp
I heard about The Salty while traveling through Texas and was glad that it happened to be within walking distance from the last AirBnB on my trip. I'm a fan of fancy donuts and this spot didn't disappoint. I got the Horchata, Brown Butter & Salt and the Cookie Monster. The Horchata and Cookie Monster were a brioche or yeast type of donut and the Brown Butter & Salt was a cake type. The Horchata was my favorite with a thick cinnamon cream flamed topping that captured the essence of the famous drink. It sat on top of a donut that had a soft inside that was soaked in horchata although I found most of the flavor to come from the cream. The bottom was coated with Valrhona Caramelia chocolate which added a delightful caramel element to the mix. The Cookie Monster donut was filled with whipped edible cookie dough that resembled a smooth cream. The flavor was accurate but I did find myself missing the grittiness of normal cookie dough. Interestingly the blue in the vanilla glaze was from a spirulina called blue majik so I guess you could claim this is a healthier donut. It gave the donut a great color and didn't alter the flavor of the vanilla glaze. The brown butter & salt donut was one of the better cake type donuts I've tried. It was lighter than others and had a great vanilla flavor that complimented the rich butter glaze and salty accents. This one I tried a bite of when it was fresh, but did not get to the rest of it until a few days later. It held up well and the taste was very similar to when it was fresh. Besides the donuts the atmosphere of the shop was excellent too. There were several seating options both inside and outside. Ceramic plates were available to use which you don't see very often in donut shops. I was able to use them to get some food photography done at the shop. Outside there was a shaded patio area complete with string lights and a fire pit. I definitely will be returning the next time I'm nearby!

Yelp
The place easily could have been 5 stars. I loved the texture of the brioche donut and the strawberry flavor. The mascarpone whipped cream was a surprising savory flavor against the sweetness of the rest of the donut. My husband and I also really enjoyed our lattes, it had a wonderful coffee flavor without being bitter. It also had just the perfect amount of sweetness. The indoor space was beautiful and I loved all of the additional seating outdoors. The reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars was our interaction with their staff. The employee was just annoyed during our entire interaction. She also made me feel like I should have known what I wanted as soon as I walked in even though we had let her know right away we needed some extra time so she wasn't just standing at the register waiting.

Yelp
We came back here in 2021 but I never reviewed it so I'll review today's visit in 2024. This is one fancy donut shop. Donuts are about $5 each. 2 of our kids got the chocolate glazed donuts and one got 6 assorted donut holes. One comment was, "Their donuts are too big." And another was, "The donuts are WAAAAAY too messy." My 2-cents, "The donuts are waaaaay too expensive for our taste. (I'm used to $1.50 Tim Horton's donuts.)" Nonetheless, the vibe is super chill. Love the laid back look. Not a ton of seating but options both inside and out. The service was fast and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
So MANY fun flavors here. I got the Horchata doughnut. Big and messy, very sweet, but isn't that is kinda "doughnuts 101"? If I lived in the neighborhood, I would try one per week, until I got through most of the flavors, it was seriously hard to choose a flavor. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

Yelp
The Salty These are the donuts that you dream about when you're sleeping. "Homer Simpson" could not refrain from eating here every morning, afternoon and evening It's good look through the window to see people inside making these beautiful treats. You know they are made with love and caring vibes Every time I go here I like to try a new one and also get my old favorites. If you are in the Bishops Arts District area or inside the Great State of Texas you owe it to yourself to locate this place and try them out.

Yelp
Good donuts, good service. Sits in a neat outdoor park that prob has quite a few food trucks if not so early in the morning.
google avatar

Yelp
Really great experience with super friendly staff and amazing food and drinks, will definitely visit again, with great seating inside and out, also dog friendly
google avatar

Yelp
Lovely shop with lots of natural lighting if you need to get some studying done. They have indoor and outdoor seating so you can bring a small group to share donuts and coffee together. I loved all of the donuts we got, but my fave is the salty cake donut. I'm not a big cake donut fan, but this was divine! Loved the sweet and savory balance and how delicious the donut still was the following day! Highly recommend coming! Kid friendly as well! There is a changing table in the bathroom. Parking is a little difficult. Street parking or parking in the back lot (but rarely available).

Yelp
This place came highly recommended and I can see why! We came here in the middle of the day and had a hard time deciding on which donuts to get, so we got a few and had a couple of small bites each! We opted to get four, in order of our preference: *Horchata - I loved this, as I love anything with meringue! *Cinnamon Pear Crumble - this was basically like a warm apple pie, but with pear! Delicious! *Churro Dulce de leche - this was my friend's favorite. I really liked it too, and just love the texture and flavor! *Texas chocolate sheet cake - I don't like cake donuts, so that's probably why I didn't like this. Also, I got the cold brew and lemonade drink, and that was delicious! Such a weird, but great combination! I wish I could have tried more of their donuts, but what I did have was so good!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh my goodness. If I could rate this more stars I WOULD! The best munchkins I've ever had. The brioche glazed munchkins absolutely Melt in your mouth. They are beyond delicious. We got there around 3:30/4PM so hardly any donuts were left- so go early! (Even tho they close at 7PM) That being said we also got the chocolate dinosaur crumble donut. Hint of saltiness to balance out the sweetness. But an absolute treasure. Their donuts are so doughy and soft/chewy and fresh. Cannot wait to go back & this time go earlier to snag more flavors!!! Highly recommend & love that they are open past noon!

Yelp
Location Davis street, Bishop Arts section Parking Street-2 h limit Atmosphere Upscale hipster donut cafe Seating Outdoor seating, indoor tables, chairs, counter looking at kitchen-so fun to watch! Service Super friendly and fast Menu Ok-not a place to be concerned about prices. Pay attention to donut selection-varies by season. I didn't see the egg nog latte until too late but I will return . The chocolate glazed was AMAZING-perfect! So good-almost like a marshmallowy ingredient! The tiramisu was creamy and light. We ordered the Oreo, the honey cinnamon bun, and the chocolate sheet cake. Can't wait to try them. Summary What a great find! For us-a special occasion neighborhood donut shop. These are the best donuts you will ever experience! We will return again soon!

Yelp
The Salty jn Bishop Arts was my go-to for over the top donuts. I was a huge fan and their price was fair. I would make my monthly pilgrimage by bicycle from Old East Dallas. I considered it a reward for my efforts, a delectable reward.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of the salty donut! I've been to this and the downtown location multiple times. I love trying all the new and seasonal items! Today i couldn't help myself and didn't $40 on donuts. Oops (don't tell my husband). Today i got the horchata, pear crumble, tiramisu, texas sheet cake, sweet potato pie pop tart and cornflake chocolate chip cookie. First of all, i can't help myself bc everything looks amazing. I want to shout them out on their vegan and gf donuts. They look beautiful and taste amazing too! I didn't buy any of those this time but since my mom is gf I'm always looking for those things- especially in bakeries. I ate the poptart first- it was really too pretty to eat. So delish. I wish the layers of pastry were a touch thinner but so yummy and beautifully decorated! The merengue on the horchata donut is nice, not overly sweet. I haven't had much merengue so it's a fun treat. Also looks cool to have the little torch marks on top. (I need to get myself a kitchen torch!) I've had the pear crumble before so i knew it was epic already- got it bc my son wanted to try it. Texas sheet cake is a delish chocolate cake donut. I've tried this one before too. It's solid and basic. Can't go wrong. The tiramisu one was my least fave but that's on me not them bc i don't like coffee. Before you come for me...i know that tiramisu is coffee flavored but i wanted to try it and hope for the best. It was so pretty!! The cookie is ok but i like mine softer, also needs more chocolate. Fun idea. We also got an eggnog latte with oatmilk that my son enjoyed and i got a hibiscus tea lemonade (iced) that I've gotten several times and really enjoy. Yes- even in 15 degree weather.

Yelp
Wonderful donut place in Dallas! I went here for friends with breakfast before driving to Fort Worth. Donuts are about $5 each and very hearty. I ordered the horchata donut and it was delicious and had a nice cinnamon flavor. Would recommend for unique donut flavors. Free parking behind the restaurant.
google avatar

Bobbi S.

Yelp
Although I ended up being disappointed with my donut choice (the Horchata, like the drink, was described as being like sponge cake dipped in rice milk with cinnamon, it tasted more like a "typical" slightly glazed donut with marshmallow topping. it was large & filling but did not taste like its description), my husband enjoyed his malted milk donut (there is also whipped lemon ricotta, strawberry shortcake, Texas chocolate sheet cake, vegan donuts & much more. Bottles of wine, boxes of tea, cans of beer & Salty merchandise is also for sale, along with sandwiches, coffee, water, all with super friendly service. Seating is indoor/outdoor & prices start at $4.95/donut.

Yelp
The Salty is my go-to spot when I'm in need of something sweet in Bishop Arts, so pretty much everytime I go. If you're a fan of unique and delicious donuts, coffee, and baked goods, I recommend you check it out. Also, The Salty's menu revolves with innovative menu items that guarantee that you won't get bored. This visit I tried the Banana Cream Pie donut, the Carrot Cake donut, and the Jalapeño and Cheddar Kolache. My favorite was the Banana Cream Pie donut. It's filled with cream, and tastes a lot like banana pudding. The carrot cake donut was good also, and the kolache was a great balance of savory and spicy. The service is always great, and they offer inside and outside seating. It's the perfect place to chill in between walking around Bishop Arts. Don't hesitate to give it a try.

Yelp
Ambiance 4/5- I know this is hard to control and I do not want the bees to be killed but wayy too many in one area. Dangerous for pets and people who are allergic. Service 5/5- was upfront about wait times, walked jasmine tea outside and was super friendly. Food 4/5- pear donut could have been better warm. Loved the bread part of the donut. The donut was beautiful.

Yelp
This is my third time having The Salty Donut, and this morning I was craving it so I decided to get it. This was my first time ordering in the morning and on the weekend, and I shouldn't have been surprised that it was busy in there (not that it matters)! Today, I ordered 3 donuts: brown butter and salt, traditional glazed, and vegan carrot cake. The brown butter and salt is my favorite and is what I believe makes them so popular! It's a perfect blend of sweet and savory without one overpowering the other. It is in my top 3 donuts of all time! The traditional glazed is almost equally delicious because of the vanilla they use in their donuts. It's something different yet so welcoming! The vegan carrot cake was my least favorite but only because the other two are so strong! Don't get me wrong though: the vegan carrot cake donut is also delicious and worth trying! Just as a tip, if the donuts are not completely hot or fresh, you can microwave them for about 10-15 seconds like I did. Doing this elevates the flavor and makes them better (at least to me)! Also as a side note, make sure you check your order before you go. For this specific visit, I asked for traditional donut holes but got a traditional donut instead. I didn't realize it until I got home, but it wasn't worth driving back because that would have taken almost an hour to handle. I'll be sure I enunciate better next time. Overall, I love this place! The service is always nice, and the interior is clean and inviting. The vibe is always nice here! I believe this place occasionally has cronuts or croissants, and I want to try those when I see them next time. Obviously this won't be my last time visiting The Salty Donut. I'll be sure to return within the next few months or so!
google avatar

Yelp
All of their donuts/pastries are always so yummy. I thought the vegan Oreo donut was too sweet but my bf really enjoyed it. We always get there when the selection is a bit slimmer but even then we have yet to be disappointed.
google avatar

Christine G.

Yelp
Went late in the afternoon. There were not many choices left which is understandable, but there were flies everywhere, which was super gross. I know it's the summer in Texas but this was excessive. Customer service wasn't great, I asked them to cut the donut for me and they said, "the knives are over there". The plastic knife couldn't even cut through the donut and broke. The flavor was good but nothing special honestly that sets it apart from other places. The location was cute in the Bishop Arts District.
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
Okay I love this place. The donuts are really so unique and tasty. This trip I went in on a Sunday morning. It was pretty packed when I got in but the line moves so quickly so I got my donuts and coffee way faster than I thought! I got the maple and brown sugar cold brew and it's great! A pretty sweet drink but also does have that strong cold brew taste. I got the brown sugar and salt cake donut and it was awesome. It's heavy but such a nice treat. I also love the branding and atmosphere that The Salty Donut has to offer. My new favorite donut place! So glad we have a location in Dallas!
google avatar

Eryana S.

Yelp
The donuts are delicious, not excessively sweet, good portion and decent price. I had the brown butter donut and I would be lying if I said I had a better donut before. It was one of my top favorites. I got a latte along with it and it was pretty standard, but it was still very good. It has an industrial style and a big table in the center and it has an outer court yard with seating. I will be stopping by every time I go to Dallas.
google avatar

Carissa S.

Yelp
We went around 3:30 on a Saturday and didn't have to wait in line. The cashier was sweet and the ordering process was easy! They have all of there donuts laid out for easy viewing, and each one looks delicious. We ordered a regular glazed and the dulce de leche that's in the shape of a star! There's seating inside and a giant patio outside to enjoy the coffee and beautiful weather. My husband really enjoyed his cold brew and I liked the latte (I think it was cereal milk?); it wasn't too sweet! We will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Doug D.

Yelp
Came here around 1 and got a sheet chocolate donut and a vegan Oreo donut. We also got a iced mocha coffee. It looks good inside with plenty of room to work on laptop. The service was good and and she knew the menu. My donut was really good and I was surprised how good the vegan donut tasted, it was a standard good coffee too. I'd go back if I were in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
I almost got one of each just because they looked amazing. The line to order moved quickly and COViD safety procedures were in place, with the added luxury of indoor seating that is not currently an option in California. This is the place you want to land after a five hour flight, drive that started at 5 AM and GPS joyride to a wrong address. 2 mile extra drive with several rerouting tours finally landed us here. Stretched our legs a bit walking the surrounding streets! Bishop Art neighborhood did not disappoint. As expected, parking was not easy but not impossible. And now to review the heavenly delicatessen creations. Starting with the vegan blueberry filled donut, if I hadn't read the label I would swear that is was a scrumptious full blown regular donut, but no, fully vegan. Other faves--all of them, seriously. Every single one of them. Not overly sweet, decadent in texture and pure in flavor. Get this, my sister who lives 20 minutes away from this place asked "how did you find this place?" Ummm, Y E L P! And I'm the one passing through from Cali! Seriously who is showing who best eats around this town? I can say that you have one more regular customer coming your way as soon as tomorrow! If I had to describe the place in one word, the word would be "scrumptious."
google avatar

Azsure D.

Yelp
I dream about these donuts. Literally. I mean for real. The horchata donut was my favorite. Then the mango one took its place. It's a tight race. The price and pretentious attitude sets me off. But the taste brings me back. On our most recent visit we tried the brown sugar poptart. It was not tasty. It was so rich you could only take one bite. All four in my party agree. We each had one bite and just could not taste any further of it. So just be cognizant of this one- it is a treat for those who can tolerate a heavy tasting pastry.
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
Swung by to pick up some donuts and coffee. I ordered a cold brew, Terry Black brisket kolache, jalapeño sausage kolache, Texas chocolate donut, churro and dulce de ledge donut, and brown butter and salt donut. I decided to do a little donut tasting with my husband lol. And they are all delicious! I love the vibe and it looks like they have an outside patios and plenty of indoor seating. The service was great! Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Chris E.

Yelp
Very solid donut spot! Everything we got from that place was delish. Walked in on a Sunday morning and there was a line that moved quickly. Its also nice they have a few seats in the place would be a comfortable place to enjoy a donut. All the donuts were well above standard! And the pop tart was good with nice crisp. They also had a father's day special called the Knotzo e Pepe and that thing was actually very crazy. It was a savory donut with small hints of sweetness, just very perfectly balanced. Overall super impressed with what I had and didn't even get to try the brisket kolaches. The place has 5 star potential and ill be back to update!
google avatar

Victoria E.

Yelp
I stopped in while exploring Bishop Arts one Saturday and was charmed by its adorable ambiance. They offered a wide range of donut options, many of which looked enticing. However, I decided to try the churro donut, and unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The flavor was present, but the fact that it was served cold dampened the overall experience. I believe it would have been much more enjoyable if it had been warmed up. My friend opted for a plain donut and generously shared a piece with me. To be honest, it didn't impress me much, as the taste was not on par with what I'd expect from a specialty donut shop. I wish the shop offered the option to heat up their donuts, as that could have significantly improved the experience. Leaving the shop, I found myself lacking any desire to return. Considering the price, I felt it wasn't worth it.
google avatar

Daniela T.

Yelp
After a long day, these donuts hit the spot! I had the Boston Cream and it was the perfect blend of custard filling + chocolate exterior and not too sweet. The Horchata Donut is a bit overwhelming with the meringue at the top and it seems like a waste to just wipe it off maybe if they reduce the amount it would be a bit easier to finish. I recommend their Vanilla Bean Coffee! The ladies at the counter were super sweet and patient since it was our first time here. Loved the glass windows to see the kitchen where the baking happens. I definitely recommend trying it out at least once if you're around the Bishop Arts area. Aside from indoor seating, it has a nice and shaded patio to enjoy outside.
google avatar

Anna A.

Yelp
The food here is ok, nothing really to write home about. The brisket/queso kolache filling wasn't super warm; a tad bit salty. The donuts have so much icing/filling in them and are room temperature due to them being made with brioche dough. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Staff is super helpful and friendly! Trendy place to take a friend from out of town to visit.
google avatar

Khadija W.

Yelp
I love Salty donut. I live in Mansfield and make it a POINT to drive to Dallas at least twice a month for their donuts. And I know what you're thinking, "Why would anyone drive 30+ minutes in traffic to Dallas for donuts"?! But trust me, the various flavors and seasonal options are worth the drive. Plus, after grabbing a carrot cake donut and a hot latte, walking around Bishop Arts, and spending $20 on a fake Cartier ring, your dopamine levels will be so high that you'll forget all about the stressful drive. Go there. Today. You won't regret it. And get a kolache too. They're BOMB.
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
Good service and super cute vibe. Lots of donuts to pick from. Got the White chocolate and chai, the ube pina colada and the butterbeer. Would pass on the white chocolate chai, it tasted like a vanilla candle. The other two were pretty good. I wish that the ube flavor was stronger but the pineapple jam in it packed a nice punch. The butter beer was definitely the winner. It was creamy and cakey and the balance of textures was a party in my mouth.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Gourmet donuts. Someone takes their time making them. They are tasty (some are not my favorite but they have a good variety and I think there is more than enough for everyone's taste) The black coffee is strong and ideal for counteracting the sugar in the donuts. Good combination!
google avatar

Maninderpal M.

Yelp
One of the best gluten free donuts I have ever had. They have a wide variety of donuts and seasonal favorites as well. The service is walk up and casual and very quick and efficient. The ambiance is a nice modern touch with nice music and indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend checking this place out. The strawberry poptart is amazing (not gluten free)
google avatar

Yelp
If you are a first timer to the Bishop Arts district prepare yourself for the parking "situation" that pretty much comes with the territory. The Salty Donut faces out on W. Davis Street and there's some street parking out front but be mindful of no parking/tow signs. There is a small parking lot in the back on W. 7th St. A few of the drink prices are outrageously overpriced. Specifically the canned soft drinks and the only one size lemonades. That lemonade is really good though. For the donuts we ordered horchata, gluten free chocolate chip, traditional glaze, brown butter & salt and vegan carrot cake. They are all dense and delicious. And I appreciate Salty Donut so much for also having brisket & queso kolaches on the menu. There's indoor park bench seating and bar stools and the patio is loaded with plenty of seating.
google avatar

Rohit G.

Yelp
Finally tried this iconic donut shop! Parking is tight but there is plenty of street parking nearby. We got a seasonal donut, the Pumpkin Spice and Brown butter, as well as donut holes and a jalapeño kolache. Everything was great. The donuts are HEARTY. The dough is more akin to a bagel than cake or a traditional donut. The Oreo donut holes were my favorite donut hole flavor. Overall a great place for a filling donut and snack. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Loved ! My donuts were so tasty and my coffee was yummy. I got the Horchata donut which had a creamy cinnamon filling and yummy whipped cream topping, and I got the Butter Cake and Sea Salt donut that was a cake style donut- full of so much flavor. I loved getting to sit on the patio and hang out- tons of dogs were hanging out too. So they are patio dog friendly, however you cannot bring them inside. I was able to easily pull into street parking, but I believe there is parking behind the building as well. Overall cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Prices are pretty steep, but the food is great and this is the perfect study spot! The outside area is gorgeous and the whole place feels very welcoming and warm!
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Got the brown sugar donut, it was on the sweeter side, but the salt on the top balanced it out! The donut was pretty dense and had a cake like taste and texture. Definitely very filling. Parking is a bit hard as there's only some street parking.

Yelp
Very cute spot to hangout with in and outdoor seating. I got my little sister the dirt cup donut and she loved it. I had the churro and dulce de lech donut, it was good just wish there was more filling because it was buttery and enhanced the donut flavor.

Yelp
A cute donut shop in the Bishop Arts area. We got the cinnamon roll and the "swifty" donuts. Both had great flavor. The pop tart was my favorite. Not too sweet and just right. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
The donuts are good, not too sweet The coffee is good, but the temperature is like childs temp. I could down the whole latte in seconds The music is too damn loud ! The employees almost have to scream at customers at times if there is a loud talker in the room It's impossible to read a book here. If you want to eat a pastry and read a book, this is not the place. It sounds like a dang night club. If you order online you need to let them know even though the app does not say anything about that sat for 10 minutes waiting while the batista was talking to an other customer didn't want to interrupt or know I needed to interrupt. When she finally asked me if I needed something, I said my name for my order, and she acted like it was my fault and I was the problem. I'm a very shy introvert, so I'm sorry for not realizing the process.

Yelp
These donuts are really something special. I've been coming here for a few years and yet they still do a great job with new exciting seasonal items. The interior is bright and productive. Coffee is excellent--I recommend their cereal milk latte--and a nice place to get some work done. Don't sleep on the donut holes!

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place but it was not very good! There were flies everywhere when we walked in - touching donuts that were in the process of being packed up for orders. We did still give them a chance tho! The donuts themselves were super bready and tough. Tasted a little stale. Very pretty donuts but not very tasty.

Yelp
Best donuts in Dallas (that I've tried so far)! Flavors do change from time to time but they keeps some staples around. The service was great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming with some friends so you can try as many flavors as possible without the added guilt of getting half a dozen for yourself. The inside donut shop is clean and definitely nice inside. They also have some great looking shirts and merch as well. I highly recommend stopping by, I drive about an hour to visit from time to time and usually stop by if I'm in the area!

Yelp
If I wouldn't gain 500 pounds, I'd go everyday! The selection changes with the season and they always have something new. The donuts are pillowy and fluffy and doughy and so so good. It's dangerous how close I work to this spot

Yelp
Not usually a donut person, but I love this spot and have been coming for years Cute ambiance that gets kinda loud if crowded so more of a hangout spot than studying although they do offer coffee

Yelp
I love the salty and I love their donuts and I specially love the pear crumble donut! But today whoever was taking orders this morning around 10:30 I guess ordering the pear donut was too hard. I've never had to worry about my donuts or checking to make sure I received the right ones, especially since I only ordered two donuts and one being a traditional glazed. We'll get home excited to eat my pear donut and open the box and it's the wrong donut. Just disappointing and I'll be checking my donuts from now on. Guess you should watch them get the donut and check to make sure it's the right ones. Bonus though the restroom is large and has a changing table for those with babies. Overall I love the salty though and I'll keep coming back.

Yelp
This donut was the best donut I've ever had!!! So fluffy and not too sweet-I wish there was more banana pudding filling, but I wish I could try every donut because of how good this one was!! We also had a savory biscuit and iced mocha coffee which were both phenomenal as well. The coffee was so flavorful and chocolatey while also balancing so perfectly with the coffee!! This place is a must when visiting Dallas!
