The Salty Doughnut Shop Opens in the Former Your Pie Space on West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead - Eater Atlanta

"The first of three planned Atlanta locations of popular Miami-based doughnut shop the Salty opens May 26 in Buckhead. Taking over the former Your Pie space on West Paces Ferry Road, expect year-round doughnut flavors like traditional glazed, maple and cinnamon twist, and white chocolate and chai, along with seasonal sweet and savory flavors such as strawberry shortcake, jalapeno and cheddar, banana cream pie, and vegan ube pina colada. Gluten-free doughnuts are also available. Tasting previews take place May 20 and May 21 via a lottery, with 60 people winning a complimentary box of doughnuts each day. People can register for a chance to win online. Winners are notified by email and provided instructions on picking up their box of free doughnuts from the Buckhead shop. Two other locations of the Salty are expected to open later this year at the Krog District near Krog Street Market and at the Sentral West Midtown complex at Star Metals on Howell Mill Road. The Salty first launched as a pop-up eight years ago in Miami run out of a 1950s camper in a parking lot. It has since grown to eight locations throughout Florida, North Carolina, and Texas, with the three Georgia shops expanding the doughnut business further into the Southeast. Open Sunday - Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Beth McKibben

YES! This is what we're doing now. Well, don't judge me because I did it again, and it was worth it. The Salty Donut is a cool place with a chill vibe for coffee, donuts, and other pastries. I'm a traditionalist, always look for a good, simple glaze and/or chocolate covered cake donut. I did enjoy the glaze, but the Brown Butter & Salt cake donut was outstanding! My niece also really enjoyed the Cookies & Cream Roll.

Google
I would like to shout-out to Nyla who did a great job with all my questions and having gluten-free options. The staff were funominal and will be back again.

Google
The donuts are pricey but massive. I ate half a donut each time and could consider one donut as two servings. I got the Strawberry Shortcake and the Samoa Cookie. Each donut was fluffy and not too sweet, a very satisfying dessert!

Google
A decent variety of delicious specialty donuts in a great location in Buckhead! Staff was very friendly! Can’t go wrong with any selections!

Google
Travion was amazing! He helped me make a selection for donuts based on what I was craving and even recommended I get his favorite bevvy, Chai Latte, and it was AMAZING!

Google
This shop has become a regular stop for me, and there's usually a short queue each time I visit. I can't help but recommend their donuts; unlike other pastries, they're freshly made on-site daily, with a variety of flavors to choose from at reasonable prices. I particularly recommend the tiramisu flavor. The chocolate and blueberry flavors tend to be on the sweeter side, but the donuts themselves aren't dry thanks to the diverse flavors. They strike a perfect balance of moisture, making them delightful to savor. Plus, their coffee is excellent.

Google
These donuts are must try!! Glazed was my top fave with the brown butter and salt at a close second. Please continue spreading joy through same fried dough! Thank you

Google
This place has the nerve to have great customer service and delightful treats. I've never had a bad time here. Clean, fast and creative. You'll walk out with something yummy. Oh and the coffee is good too!

Yelp
Stopped by The Salty Dog in Buckhead, and it did not disappoint! The donuts are so good--creative flavors and super fresh. Their coffee was the perfect match, and everything hit the spot. The vibe inside is cozy, with a counter that seats about 10 people and one booth. But the outdoor seating is where it's at--plenty of room to relax and enjoy your treats outside. I walked there, so I'm not sure about the parking, but it's on a busy street, so keep that in mind if you're driving. If you're in the area and need a sweet pick-me-up, definitely check this place out!

Yelp
I've been so excited to come here after I tried the minis at a festival! I love the vibe of the restaurant. The seating option with the big table is really cute. They had great options and still had a lot of donuts at 2pm, it is quite pricey at $5 a donut, but that might just be what they are going for nowadays. Deliciousness tho! It is really really really worth a try!

Yelp
A decent donut shop with a wide variety of seasonal selections. The dough is too dense for my liking. Pistachio and white chocolate was very sweet, but good if that is your thing! My friend got their classic brown butter + salt but we agree that it is too salty. Could also be very good if that is your thing!

Brenda K.

Yelp
The coffee and donuts were amazing! Love the fresh and strong taste of the coffee. It is sweet and strong. The lemon cream filled donut tasted delicious with real lemon cream. The worker is knowledgeable and friendly. Service was great! Place is small but, it is not meant for too many people in at one time. Great grab and go place. The parking in the area really suck tho. Not accessible for handicap. But that is how it is on downtown ATL.

Yelp
The service was fast, the indoor seating and parking is limited. They have a lot of outdoor seating. The ambiance is hip and classy. The donuts were good but not extra ordinary, maybe I was too hyped about the place. The staff was friendly and polite. The facility was clean and chic.

Yelp
I visited this establishment for the first time this morning, having driven past it last Monday. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The cashier was exceptionally friendly and helpful, demonstrating a great understanding of the menu and engaging in pleasant conversation. They even informed me about the shop's artisan approach, explaining that everything is made from scratch. I appreciate learning stuff like that; it truly shows passion. I definitely plan to return. The doughnuts were delicious, and the lattes were served hot--a detail surprisingly overlooked by many coffee shops. I was highly impressed with the shop's overall quality, particularly the thoughtful touches, such as providing complimentary water to complement the sweetness of the donuts. It was a very considerate gesture.

Yelp
Omg! Best donut and coffee shop ever!! Baked hoods super fresh and taste amazing! It was really busy when we arrived but service was warm and friendly. Found my new Buckhead spot!!

Yelp
Wow! As someone who has been to many of the iconic donut shops including Voodoo Donuts in Portland, Sidecar Donuts in LA, Randy's Donuts in LA, and Parlor Doughnuts in Oceanside, I was blown away by these donuts. I am normally a cake donut girl but the yeast donuts here are made from a light, fluffy brioche dough. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and the candied pistachio and white chocolate donut. The strawberry shortcake was simply divine and the frosting had an intense strawberry flavor. Loved the shop's cute aesthetic and friendly staff. There is limited parking behind the shop.

Yelp
The first time I tried The Salty Donut I was not impressed with the taste or quality of their donuts. I recently decided to give The Salty the chance to redeem themselves by ordering a few different donuts for the office. Now this go round I was throughly impressed with my selections which were the glazed, gingerbread French toast, chocolate cake, candied white chocolate pistachio, cinnamon crumble, butterscotch pie(GF) and the brown butter n' salt . I almost forgot my favorite of them all the strawberry shortcake 24 hr brioche filled with layers of strawberry jam, lemon cake & vanilla mousse, fresh strawberry glaze, topped with chunks of mascarpone whipped cream & lemon cake. The Salty are more on the expensive side. I ordered 19 donuts the cost was around $97. I definitely recommend If you like cake donuts.

Yelp
I recently visited The Salty Doughnut and had a fantastic experience! We enjoyed iced coffee along with their traditional glazed and honey butter cinna-bun doughnuts. The iced coffee was perfectly brewed and refreshing, a great complement to the doughnuts. The traditional glazed doughnut was a classic delight - light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The highlight was definitely the honey butter cinna-bun doughnut, which was absolutely divine with its rich, buttery flavor and warm cinnamon notes. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a quick treat or a leisurely visit. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall excellent experience. I highly recommend The Salty Doughnut for anyone with a sweet tooth or a love for high-quality coffee. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Yelp
Sunday morning donut desire . I checked out The Salty Donut for the first time . I ordered the candied Pistachio white chocolate donut and buttered pecan pop tart . I love anything Pistachio so this was my favorite . Brioche crusted in white chocolate and pistachio cookie crumbs with a candied pistachio glaze , Heaven ! The Buttered pecan pop tart had a flaky crust , melt in your mouth frosting and a pecan filling . Many layers of flavor but a little too salty for me . I usually don't salt anything do did others I'm sure it will be very tasty . Everyone has different taste buds . Try the Salty Donut .

Yelp
I was recommended to visit The Salty since I'm a lover of sweets. I liked the ambience and the vibe of The Salty--nice cafe feel to meetup with a friend or catchup with work. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well as free parking. The ladies that worked there were very friendly and helpful. Now onto the donuts, I paid $15 for 3 donuts so I was expecting them to be good, however, 2 out of the 3 were a complete miss. The cherry pop tart was too crumbly and falling apart with minimal cherry flavor. The salty brown butter donut was very thick and dense with a hard coated layer of icing. Lots of calories with minimal taste. The best one was the traditional glazed. Nice fluffy center and still lots of icing but worth it. I would only get the traditional glazed again in the future and not experiment with the rest.

Yelp
Wow what a gem in the buckhead neighborhood. This donut & coffee shop was very organized and clean. The scent of freshly baked donuts and hot coffee permeated the entire establishment in the most pleasant way. From the amazing customer service to the nearly empty display shelves which told me immediately, I came late to the donut party. Luckily, there were a few flavors left for me to try. The Salty is definitely giving other donut shops a run for their money. Customer service was top notch and I really enjoyed hearing about how "The Salty" came to be. Being greeted with a smile along with offering suggestions to try left me feeling valued as a customer. My first bite into the traditional glazed donut took me back to my childhood when my mom would take me to the bakery to pick up a few treats. This donut was the perfect combination of fresh pillowy soft sweetness that got better with every bite. The glad was evenly distributed on the donut and most importantly the flavor was out of this world. To sum it up, run, don't walk, grab a box of donuts immediately before they fly off of the shelf.

Yelp
I just moved to Buckhead Village and on my walk I came across The Salty Donut. I've had my fair share of donuts but not in a long while, so I decided to indulge and grab one on my walk home. The employees were very kind and let me take my time looking everything over. There are a good number of seats to hang out and have coffee and donuts. Chill vibes.... They had a good number of selection, and being the tropical fruit lover that I am, I choose a coconut passion fruit donut. The donut is a great size. I'm not sure it was very fresh, but being that I walked in at 1:30pm, I wasn't expecting fresh out of oven donuts. The glaze over the top was great but there was a lot of it and it wasn't completely hardened, so it was a little messy and sticky. There was a little sprinkle of coconut on the top. Coconut is my favorite and I wish that they would've been as generous with the coconut as they were with the glaze. I was expecting a passion fruit jam filling but the filling is actually a passion fruit cream. Overall, it was a tasty donut but I've had better. While I ate, I read the reviews here, and I think a lot of people have great things to say about the strawberry shortcake donut. I may come back again, this time in the morning hours, to try it. Will update review then :)

Yelp
I came here to work and it didn't disappoint! I absolutely adore the interior design of this cozy little shop! It's modern, warm and makes you feel at home. The barista was really kind and gave me a sample of their new seasonal drink Brown Sugar Chai Latte from the menu. They added clove for some extra flair and it was truly tasty! My personal drink of choice was a matcha lemonade with simple syrup. It did have a slightly overwhelming syrup taste but it was perfect to help me power through the second half of my work day. I also got the original glazed donut. It was light and fluffy almost like a brioche like texture. And the vanilla flavor was perfectly sweet
google avatar

Yelp
HOT coffee!! I was so impressed with the temperature of our drinks to accompany our delicious donuts. Typically even ordering a drink "extra hot" does not get me a hot enough beverage but ours came out steaming! Well done!
google avatar

Yelp
For me these donuts were just okay, I went off the strength of tiktok, it was the afternoon so maybe the donuts weren't as fresh as they would be first thing in the morning however, they were just okay to me. No donut stood out flavor wise that I tried. The service was great, they were very friendly, there is limited indoor and outdoor seating, the parking is also limited.

Yelp
YOU DRIVE ME GLAZY! Salty Donut, a pretty popular donut shop across the south/south west. Though it is a chain they are particular about the cities/states where their shops open. My partner and I will TRAVEL to a shop if needed. If that alone does not prove how good their donuts are then I don't know what will. We first were introduced to Salty down in Miami. But now as we've moved from FL we don't get to treat ourselves to these sweet treats as often as before. The first thing you need to know about The Salty is if you plan on going you need to arrive when they first open their doors. This is when you will get the best options. If you go later in the day there will not be much left. When we came into the Buckhead location we walked in and they only had one tray of donuts left. No matter what donut you get they will always be super sweet and super delicious. So if you want options then get there early, but if you don't care, then go whenever and there will be at lease one option. Service was quick and super easy. The donut they had on this occasion was the Cookie Monster donut. Which had a blue glaze. Cookie topping and filled with a cookies and cream style cream. I loved my experience here and definitely recommend stopping in for a sweet treat. Everyone needs a #treatyourself type day.

Yelp
I went into this place months ago and forgot to leave a review. I also hope they still have the strawberry shortcake donut because that donut was amazing!! I also tried the white chocolate chai donut. I'll be honest, I wasn't a fan of a soggy donut but the white chocolate at the top was delicious! The service was quick and went well. It's a tiny spot but not too tight. It's perfect if you want to sit in. There's a beautiful window view and they even have private booth seating. I chose to take mine to go. I'll be back for another sweet sometime soon

Yelp
Social Media food accounts and influencers have been raving about the Salty Donut since they opened. I like donuts, but they're not my favorite sweet treat. I still wanted to try this place after seeing the amazing reviews. Let's start with the location: The actual business sits right at the corner of Peachtree and West Paces Ferry in Buckhead...next door to Velvet Taco. Parking behind the restaurant is VERY limited. If you can snag a spot, great. I've heard some people say you can get away with parking in the Whole Foods lot, but be aware of booting/towing. It's Atlanta, so park at your own risk lol. I'm sure if you're just running in to grab and go, it won't be a problem. Interior Decor: I absolutely loooove the interior design of the shop. It gives you a luxe cafe vibe. Beautiful hues of dark blue and gold are laced throughout. You are immediately greeted with an array of gorgeous donuts on display behind the glass. While the store itself is pretty small, there is a decent amount of seating outside. Food and Coffee: I wanted to try a donut that wasn't on their everyday menu. One of the employees recommended I try the Ube donut. This purple-hued beauty looked so perfect that I didn't want to eat it. It was covered in a vegan coconut frosting, and had a sweet pineapple filling. While the donut was nice, it was a little too sweet and dense for me. I typically prefer the traditional fried donut that is light and airy with simple toppings. The Ube donut was almost like a dense bagel texture. I did also order one of their specialty lattes and oh my gosh! It was delicious! Can't remember the name, just know that the coffee drinks are divine. I am eager for their new location to open on the Westside, just another excuse to try more treats lol.

Yelp
I went with a friend on Friday, 4/19/24, at 11:30 am. I got an Iced Vanilla Bean Latte ($6). We split the Vegan Ultimate Oreo Cookie Donut ($4.95) and Churro Croughnut Collab ($5.50). The Oreo donut was very good! The Churro donut didn't really taste like a churro. The latte was delicious! I would go back just for the lattes! Service was quick and everyone was friendly. They had counter seating and one booth inside and tables outside. They have a couple high chairs too. Parking lot in back, with a few spots designated for Salty.

Yelp
I have been wanting to visit The Salty since they opened, and I finally did last weekend! There was a line out the door, but it went pretty fast. The decor is really cute. I loved the penny tile floors and the black counters. I ordered the chocolate cake donut, brown butter & salt donut, and the brown sugar pop tart. All were delicious, but my favorite was the chocolate cake one. It was amazing! They also have coffee drinks and some savory items. I'll definitely be back when I want a special breakfast treat!
google avatar

Kat S.

Yelp
I had no social media influence directing me to here. The person I was meeting suggested it. OMG, it was amazing. We got there right at 7am- there were some stanchions near the door that tipped me off to the fact that there may be lines at times but we didn't encounter any on a chilly weekday morning. The space was sparse of seats but warm and filled with sweet smells as we walked in the door. I ordered a chocolate brioche donut and it was perhaps one of the perfectly balanced and delicious donut I have ever had. (I am not a small woman... I have eaten a lot of donuts in my life). The staff were very attentive and accommodating... our cashier let us know it may be a minute for a large order because they were not at full staff so early in the day. A shout out to conflict management from the start. I was blown away with the donut. It was a 10 star item!
google avatar

Megan Y.

Yelp
I came here Sunday afternoon, on a recommendation from multiple Atlanta TikTokers. I got the cinnamon cereal milk latte with almond milk and it was heavenly. I paired that with a banana cream pie donut which I also enjoyed. The store is beautifully designed, with a bar style seating area indoors, and patio seating outdoors. There is also one group nook in the back indoors. It's in walking distance to a Whole Foods and around the corner from Buckhead Theatre so great location! Finally, the staff were all very friendly. Most patrons are coming here for the first time since they are new to Atlanta & the guy at the cashier is patient with giving recommendations. The barista also was kind to remake my drink with the correct milk. I happened to go when the architect firm's freelance photographer was shooting photos so it was cool to meet him. He shared more about the company and the other cities they are in, based in FL but have stores in NC and TX.

Yelp
I think this place is just a little overrated, it is good, but not a place I would line up around the block for. The line is almost always out the door and usually around the block, but it isn't very big on the inside. Most of the seating is going to be outdoor seating, some is covered and most chairs have an umbrella for those sunny days. It's not ideal to come here when it is cold or raining. They do a rotating menu with seasonal items of special donuts as well as their standard year round donuts. Their coffee menu is pretty standard for a coffee shop, and they have very nice coffee, but I don't think I'd go back for just that. They did have some of the best oat milk I've had in a while, and their baristas are definitely very talented. Despite the long lines I feel like they were pretty quick once we did place our order, with an assembly line set up, orders at the front, donut serving, and coffee at the end. It seems like a great set up with no one tripping over eachother, so I bet it is a pleasant place to work. This is NOT somewhere I'd go to work remotely. Again the inside is very limited space and I'm not sure they have WiFi but I do think this place is much more more for the cute photos and to say you came here. Again the donuts are good and fresh. Just personally i think this is at most a one time experience if any. The hype is much more than the value.

Yelp
The Salty is a family-owned, artisan donut shop that focuses on chef-made, small-batch, craft donuts that rotate based on seasonality. They're a 100% scratch bakery, so they use nothing but the highest quality ingredients and making everything in house! I went there to grab a donut and coffee for myself! Their donuts have a unique taste and are not very sugary. Brown butter and Salt is the classic and most popular. Customer service was top notch. Being greeted with smile along with offer suggestions to try left me feeling valued as a customer. Free Parking Address - 5 W Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30305, United States

Yelp
10/10 donuts! Each flavor is so unique and very tasty. The inside of the shop is very cute and retro, the service is very fast and the staff is very welcoming!

Yelp
It's hard to resist a good donut. So I made a visit to the salty, to experience their donut selections. I made a quick order of a glaze and the banana cream pie. Both were delicious. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was quaint and cozy. Additionally, there's an outdoor back patio, adjacent to the parking lot if you prefer to dine outside.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place! I'm not a huge fan of donuts, but when I do crave one, I come here. They also have some delicious coffee that I always grab. My favorite thing is their jalapeño and cheese biscuit. Except make sure you go in store for that so it's fresh. They have such friendly employees here and it's a very cute shop with some seating inside and out. The parking is also not too bad there's a parking lot.
google avatar

Yelp
Thrilled this place is finally open in Atlanta. I was finally able to redeem some of a gift card I got months ago (though it wasn't easy - it took a while to figure out how to scan it, guess not many people do gift cards here!). We got 3 donuts: the cookie butter, brown butter & salt, and maple cinnamon twist. The twist was perfection - light and airy and perfectly flavored. Also loved the brown butter and salt. The cookie butter one was good, but not as good as the others, and we think it might be better with coffee. We'll be back to try more flavors. The service was impeccable and they do have seating both inside and outside, but the parking is 15 minutes only, so you'd have to be quick if you eat there.
google avatar

Nina R.

Yelp
Solid donut shop with no frills coffee. They are fast and have great customer service. I like the lemonade cold brew. Good quality.
google avatar

Cristina M.

Yelp
Came here to support a local business and was blown away by the hospitality and product!! Place had consistent customer traffic and even designated parking spots in the back - Buckhead is known for limited / paid parking! I was able to try the cookie butter donut, the white chocolate cookie, Ube Pina Colada, and the banana cream donut. I opted for a water but they also have a huge coffee and latte menu. This location is very walkable and has an old parlor type feel. Sitting is limited with just window seats but they do offer complementary water if you want. Super cute place and I hope they flourish.
google avatar

Ash C.

Yelp
I heard so many good things about Salty Donut so I had to stop by. They have a parking lot in the back with free parking. They have a small seating area inside and a good amount of outdoor seating. There was a short line when I arrived, but it moved quickly. I ordered 4 donuts and an iced caramel latte. The donuts were delicious! The pina colada really tasted like a pina colada. I also enjoyed the chocolate, Boston cream, and the traditional. I didn't care too much for the latte.
google avatar

Thu D.

Yelp
There was parking in the back and on the side. Though it was a small parking lot, people who visit just to order and go like us is many so if you can wait a bit, there will be available parking spot. The line is normally long but it moves quickly enough. If you didn't plan to dined in, I think it's best to order online and come picking up inside, it will save lots of time. They restock fast so if you see the item you want is not behind the glass or looks like sold out, it's best to ask the cashier to know the wait rather than to skip ordering. The place is chic, clean and well decor. We order for togo. We had: - Traditional glazed: this one taste good. - Chocolate cake donut: this one is also good, tastes like a chocolate cake. - Boston cream: my bf really enjoy this one. If you like cream filled cake, you will enjoy this one. - Ube pina colada: this one is a bit off. I can't taste or sense any ube flavor at all, except the purple color. The pina colada part is in the glazing and the jam. This donut is also pretty unsweet in flavor, comparing to all the other options. - Ore & white chocolate chip cookie: this one is soft, moist, and tasty. I always prefer soft cookie to the hard one. Price is higher than most donut place but they open in Buckhead so their price match their location. Plus, the donut is thick, in good size, and pretty filling too.

Yelp
I tried The Salty Donut for the first time in Austin and was delighted to find out they opened a location here in Atlanta (and they have more coming). Parking: There is a small paid lot behind The Salty Donut. If that is full, there's a parking garage not too far away close to the Buckhead Theatre, which is where I had to park. That's also a paid lot. Food: They offer donuts and pastries. I ordered the banana cream pie donut and the tiramisu donut. I wasn't the biggest fan of the tiramisu, but it was still good. However, the banana cream pie donut was delicious! They have a rotating menu, so what's offered this season may not be there next season - so always check if you have your eyes set on a specific flavor. Drinks: They have a variety of drinks available. I ordered the Maple + Brown Sugar cold brew with oat milk and really enjoyed it! Vibes: The staff is very welcoming and happy to answer questions! There is bar seating inside that has about 6-8 chairs. There is one booth available, which would be great to work/study from, but there's no guarantee that it'll be free when you go. The outdoor seating is where it's at. There are many tables and the wifi reaches out there so I was able to work there until I had to charge my computer. They'll definitely be seeing me again!
google avatar

Yelp
Solid donut shop! Located where Your Pie used to be near Buckhead Wholefoods, it's designed like a pick up/diner style where people line up outside the door. There is one indoor seating with about 10 patio and covered seating. I tried all the donut flavors at the moment and my favorites were brown butter, cookie butter, strawberry shortcake, and ube pinacolada. For drinks, the cinnamon cereal latte was amazing and Matcha lemonade was refreshing but I would pass on the hibiscus tea.

Yelp
We stayed right up the street and this was a perfect place for a sweet breakfast treat! I ordered 3 donuts, a cookie and 2 coffees which was about $30! The donuts were pretty large and they were so so good. We love the cake donut so ordered glazed, glazed chocolate and salted brown butter. Would recommend any of them again. There was no line on a Friday or Saturday morning which made the service quick and friendly. The shop itself is super cute and love that you have all of the donuts and baked goods on display to pick from.

Yelp
I ran across this restaurant while watching shorts on YouTube. The video I saw was for the location in Miami. I sent it to my sister who lives in Charlotte, NC. She told me that they have a location in Charlotte! she said she attended the pre-opening event. I figured if Charlotte, NC has a location, there must be one in Atlanta. To my surprise it was less than 10 miles away from me. This shop is located in Buckhead. They have a few parking spots at the rear of the building. While they do have seating inside and out, I think the goal is to grab and go. When I arrived there were only 3 people in front of me in the line. Based on reviews, I was expecting the line to be longer. When I reached the counter the staff was friendly and provided me with her favorites when I asked, I ordered the brown butter and salt donut, cookie butter cake donut, and a hot matcha latte with oat milk. My total was $20!! Yes- you read that right- two donuts and a tea cost me $20!! My donuts were packaged as I was paying for my order. I had to wait a few minutes for the matcha to be prepared. I ran to the bathroom and about 2-3 minute later the drink was ready. I enjoyed my matcha latte. Typically coffee shops use a pre- sweetened matcha, this shop does not! Please note that the switch from whole milk to oat milk is an addition $1.50!- these prices are steep. The donut that I tried was the cookie one. While it was good, it was not great. For the price I was expecting so much more. The friend that I got the other donut for said she enjoyed her flavor. Some things to note: I arrived at this spot at about 4:30pm on Saturday. They have tow restrooms and neither had tissue or looked like anyone had went in to tidy it up all day. Also, they have a cute booth section that would make for a great photo op but it appeared to double as an office and day care center today! They basically should have put a sign up that said no patrons allowed! Will I be back- it's going to be a no for me! I do not mind paying up for items, however, this did not leave me wanting more. However , I think it's a preference situation. I prefer the melt in your mouth kind of donut vs. the cake consistency donut. As such, I think you should check them out and see if they are serving what your taste buds enjoy!

Yelp
I have in the past not been a fan of donuts but The Salty Donut changed my mind. Their donuts are delicious and not overly sweet. I will definitely be coming back :)

Yelp
This place makes good donuts and coffee but the price is extreme. Most of the donuts I tried were good but some were pretty bad like the pbj. For the price it's just ok. I live in Long Beach and you get quality donuts for 1.50 a piece and every donut in the display hits. For Atlanta I think this place will thrive but it's hard to give this place a higher rating living in LA and being raised on Shipleys in Houston. My lil sample box. Star filling slapped. Donuts holes were perfect for hot coffee. So was the crumb and salted caramel. Pbj middle filling was good but the donut tasted like a bran muffin

Yelp
If there's a new donut shop, I must try it! I'm glad I tried the Salty donut. Ive been following them on instagram for a while. The shop is super cute with plenty of seating outside. I got several different donuts and my favorite was glasses and cinnamon twist. I really wanted to love the Boston cream since it's my all time filled donut, but there was aiming missing about the custard. Will I come back , probably so, but definitely will not be my go to donut shop

Yelp
Lemon ricotta donut was super soft and lemon filling was good, partner couldn't finish because it was so lemon-y but was happy with purchase. Also had brown butter and salt donut which tasted better warmed up to help the texture soften but too much salt made it inedible in parts to the point didn't finish since it wasn't clear what bites would be too salty. And tried monkey bread which was pretty good, also had to be warmed up to soften texture. Overall will be back to try other donuts but will not get brown butter and salt donut again. Thank you!

Yelp
After hearing about the grand opening, I decided to stop by for myself. I ordered the Brown Butter Chai donut and their classic vanilla donut and also grabbed a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. All of this ran us about $15 after tip which is steep. We wanted to try some of their other donuts but noticed they didn't have the cookie butter on display as well as another one. While we were waiting for our donuts (less than 5 mins) they put out both of the types of donuts we wanted so it was disappointing as we thought they were just sold out for the day or we would have waited. The Brown Butter Chai donut was not my favorite. It tasted like just artificial caramel flavoring and no chai taste. The classic vanilla donut shined though and redeemed it for us. The jalapeño cheddar biscuit was yum and nicely spiced and cheese, but $4 for a biscuit? Tough. We'll definitely come back to try the other flavors if they're in stock but for the price range, the bar is high.

Yelp
So I tried the salty donut today at w paces in Atlanta. I asked the person at the cashier if she could recommend a flavor but she said she wasn't a doughnut person lol . So I just got the glazed donut, I would give it a 5 for now because it wasn't to my liking as a delicious donut . the glazed donut was very thick ,sticky and doughy not sure if I would try again , I usually like doughnuts from sublime or Krispy Kreme or even Sara's and they are all worth a try .. I did like the outside patio furniture (tables and chairs umbrella.

Yelp
I'm not typically a Donut person besides Krispy Kreme but my husband made me visit and, I do not regret it. I am blown away by their donuts! The donut flavors are creative and beautiful, I did not want to bite into it until I heard all the accolades from my family. Wow! Yes, that's my review. "WOW". The cake donut is the perfect texture- moist, crumbly, flavorful- there is no question over flavor, the names are true to taste. I am in love with the modern decore- very upscale and elevated to compliment the product. There is very limited seating indoors(one booth- maybe just for pictures) the other seating is outdoors, which will be wonderful for the spring and summer. Being a newly anticipated shop, the line was very long however, the staff is operating smoothly and kept the line flowing. The wait was not long at all, so do not let the line discourage you. The staff is also engaging and welcoming upon entering.

Yelp
Day after Thanksgiving strolling through Buckhead and came across this donut shop. I always love a food donut and I was not disappointed here. I tried the brown butter salt donut and let me tell you it was delicious! It had just come out from the back too and was warm. . I devoured that donut! My wife ordered their pumpkin spice brown sugar donut and she thoroughly enjoyed hers as well. These are cake style donuts with a nice icing on top. To order you step up to the counter and are greeted by a person that will walk you through their selection of donuts. After telling you about the donut they serve you right away. They have coffees and teas as well. We chose to sit and eat in the shop since it was a nice chill vibe here. There is plenty of seating with gender neutral restrooms. Overall I will come try some of their other selection of donuts and coffee.

Yelp
This cute new donut shop is opening up Friday May 26th!! We got a sneak peek to see the donuts beforehand and they were delicious!! I absolutely adored the atmosphere of this cute little donut shop. It was so beautiful. The store owner was so awesome and inviting! I could tell he was so excited about to get the shop open. The donuts and coffee were literally to die for!! The flavors were unique and exciting. You can tell they try very hard to make each donut amazing!! My favorites were the Brown Butter & Salt donut and the Iced Salted Caramel Latte! I guarantee you will love anything you get here!

Yelp
This weekend, I found myself trying out The Salty Donut in Buckhead area in Atlanta and for my first go around I would say the donuts here were good however not overly wowed. Upon ordering the cashier was friendly as we took our order and were ready quickly. The interior is rather small however the outdoor seating is a plus especially on a fresh humid morning like Sunday. The ambiance is rather modern and urban very welcoming. Now let's rate the latte first, it was great with perfect amount of cinnamon sweetness! Now for the donuts, my wife ordered the Strawberry Shortcake, was too sweet in fact overpowering balance of strawberry and sugar and yes it is strawberry icing filled so this is where my star drops off. I ordered the Blueberry Crumb Cake, it was a perfect balance of blueberry and crumb cake it was very good paired nicely with the latte I might add so no issues on my end. Overall, for all the hype it got in social media was not too wowed by both the donuts and the latte, nothing worth going out of my way for.
