Actual Rating: 4.5 out of 5 The Salty Donut is a chain donut spot, and the original one in Austin is located on Congress Avenue (South Austin). Having one closer to the north location means more sessions at the gym to pay for the carbs and calories this place offers, haha. Into the review! ---- Pros: - Friendly staff - Parking is abundant (parked in the lots) - Simple menu - Uses Intelligentsia coffee - GF/Vegan options (limited) Side Notes: - Open daily from 7 AM to 7 or 10 PM - Open to 10 PM on FRI/SAT What We Got: - 3 Donuts - 1 Kolache - Two specialty coffees ---- Design/Space: It's nice, with tables inside and outside. Sitting there and doing work is a bit loud and crowded, but with great coffee and donuts, it's aesthetically a small yet nicely designed interior. You can see clearly what they do have and have run out of, but it never hurts to ask if they are making more in the back. Drinks/Food: Since they are known for donuts, let's get into the food first. What we got: Glazed, Brown Butter + Salt, Mixed Berry Cheesecake donuts, Terry Black's BBQ Brisket + Cheddar Kolache, and two coffees, Cinnamon Cereal Milk Latte and Salted Caramel Latte. The donuts were nice and "pillowy," and nothing was stale. The glazed was our favorite, with the brown butter following closely behind, but they were out of most of the ones we wanted on Saturday (late morning--grand opening weekend): Horchata, Churro, and Samoa donuts. The cheesecake was rich; we had plowed through the first two donuts together by then. It was too much sugar for one sitting (great flavor, though!). Similarly, the cinnamon cereal milk latte was sweet and heavy after the donuts, but had great flavor. The salted caramel latte was good, too, but perhaps the best one we've ever tried. Again, this is post-donuts, so we needed something to balance our high sugar intake. These were rich in sugar, especially the cinnamon cereal milk latte (at least it tasted that way to me). The kolache was good, but if you are expecting Terry Black's BBQ in a donut, get Terry Black's to go and come here to get the full effect. Haha, but it was a good bite to balance out the sugar we got in the donuts and coffee. Staff: The staff was friendly, given the number of people likely asking the same questions during the grand opening weekend. Opportunities to Improve: They could have more donuts on hand to purchase. However, as they opened this past weekend, it's difficult to understand the actual demand versus the planned demand, so this will likely get better over the next few months (not a big deal at all - it's business). ---- Summary: The Salty Donut is a premium donut, and with Intelligentsia coffee, it'll be my favorite spot to grab a cold brew or meet over coffee with a friend in the future. It's a nice addition to the area, and I'll be right back. I'm still feeling that sugar high and need a nap. 4.5 because we couldn't try the other donuts out (but we'll be back).

This place gets packed, so I would highly recommend that you place a pick up order to avoid long lines! We had the tiramisu and the berry cheesecake and I must say they tasted very different than your average donut. The first one we tried was the berry cheesecake and it tasted like whipped cheese filling with a strudel like crumb with bread. It was good but I never thought I was eating a donut if that makes sense. The tiramisu was a huge disappointment. To be honest I thought they might have forgotten to sweeten it. I think if I were having this with a latte or such I might have not noticed but it was very noticeable that this donut hardly had any sugar added. Maybe we will return to try another…

Google
Absolutely love my pastries and Salty Donut offers gourmet sugary and savory options. I won't get too wild these days over noms since we have to indulge in self control in our old age lol but im eating my way slowly through the menu. The everything cragel (croissant bagel) is my favorite, the coconut caramel donut, along with toasted banana milk (gluten free) was great as well! Sweet, dense carbs and drizzled with your sugary buttery goodness, what's not to love? I will say every time we've gone, the kolaches have always sold out by Saturday (11am-ish) so you'll have to be early and quick. You can always order online or in person, seating is limited but the interior is clean, modern and there is a single unisex stall for of us who bring kiddos around town and need the potty. Can't wait to return and try all the many tasty other things thru and thru!

Google
Sooo yummy . We had a Terry Black's brisket kolache . It was hot , fresh and loaded with tasty brisket. The chocolate cake donut was to die for. We also got a berry cheesecake but that's for dessert tonight !! I saw some vegan options and many more I want to try. They do have a walk up window to pickup call in / online orders. Two tables for outside seating. So glad the Domain location is open.

Everything tastes amazing! And not too sweet. High quality coffee. Very strong . Small amount of space inside and outside just 2 tablets near the door. It’s better to take out to enjoy the taste

Google
Horrible! Their older female manager is super rude and yells and screams at customers. I found a disgusting insect/cockroach in their donuts. Instead of apologizing she went crazy on me. Dirty donut place with dirty donuts. Don’t go there it’s not worth it. I did post a picture of partial amount of my purchases including the refund that took many phone calls to be refunded for the donut that they saw in their own eyes the bug in it .

I’ve been waiting for this new location to open forever and it lived up the hype. I visited at 9 am on a Saturday and it wasn’t super busy. Easy in & out with lots of donut and drink options. Seating inside is limited in the small space with one high top and two low top tables, so keep this in mind when planning a visit.

Google
We had a wonderful experience at 9am on a Saturday. Friendly staff and delicious donuts. We did a half dozen sampler and had so much fun sampling several flavors. Here were our individual ratings for the donuts: Mixed Berry Cheesecake: 5/5 SO amazing. Loved the cheesecake filling and graham cracker “crust” on bottom. Peach Cobbler: 4/5. Crumbles and peach flavor were really good! Dulce de Leche: 3/5. We both agreed the donut part of this was delicious, but we didn’t love the cream inside. It tasted more like a whipped cream and we didn’t love the flavor. Samoa: 4/5. Wanted this one to be a home run, but it didn’t end up being our favorite. It was good, just not great. I think the Samoa’s caramel flavor could have been stronger. We loved the chocolate on the bottom. Tiramisu: 2/5. Our least favorite by a mile. We just really thought this one missed the mark. The only donut we didn’t finish later. Brown Butter: 5/5. Would give this 6 if I could. Talk about FLAVOR! This one melts in your mouth. My husband said he could eat this every day. We also got iced lattes that were really yummy (vanilla bean and salted caramel). It was a fun breakfast overall and we would visit again.

Yelp
Here is a summary: If I worked or lived near Salty I would be loosening my belt. These donuts are the real deal. Think Dunkin or Krispy Xs 10. These are gourmet donuts folks! How about, Texas chocolate Sheet Cake, Cookies and Cream Cake, and my new favorite the Horchata. Here is their description: Horchata Donut: A 24 hr brioche soaked in a homemade horchata mixture, bottom crusted with Valrhona Caramelia chocolate + finished with torched cinnamon-meringue. Here is my description: Unbelievably decadent and so freaking delicious! When we arrived we were greeted by the two person team and were provided with a very educational tour of their offerings. I thought for sure that my Plus 1 was going to choose the Texas Chocolate but she went out of her comfort zone and, thankfully, ordered the Horchata. They also offer kolaches and a variety of specialty coffees. When we return the Terry Blacks kolache is on my radar.

Yelp
Oh no!!! Salty donut say it ain't so!! why is it like this!!! Salty donut is like that toxic ex that you wish you could be done with but they have some redeeming qualities that keep you coming back. The donuts here are fantastic and the seasonal rotation keeps the menu exciting and fresh. I dream of the day the caramel delite girl scout cookie donut is back in rotation. The kolaches here are also wonderful. Great flavor and always tasty. there isn't a donut or kolache that you could go wrong with here. now on to the bad. Operationally, this place is a nightmare. they are consistently understaffed and the team is overwhelmed. I feel bad for the employees (only 2 during the Sunday rush) they are apologizing to every customer that comes in due to the long waits. They are also out of donuts and their app doesn't accurately reflect that change causing additional confusion and issues. Team members look like they are thrown into the mix without proper training with the POS or understanding the menu drink mixes. Lattes and coffee are underwhelming and for $7 a latte, I would expect more. I think anyone who visits here does also. This part of the review is specifically for operations and management. For a chain artisan donut place, the organization is garbage, the training awful, the client facing team... surprisingly delightful for being so overwhelmed. I don't know what in the PE is going on here and I don't know how this training is done but it is very clearly a profits over people type of spot. Sadly, like a Ex that has promised to change if you just give them one more chance; Salty Donut will leave you... well... salty. And maybe that's the point. If you like brief whirlwind romances with flaky inconsistent lovers then Salty Donut will be your jam. They might ghost you for up to a hour while you wait patiently in 100 degree hot and then forget about your drink order. But when it's good it's good. When it's bad you'll wonder why you ever came back.

Yelp
Cute coffee place that but the donut were not the star of the place. The donuts were Mid level donuts at best. Nothing really stood out but the savory options were banging. The brisket kolache was good, it was similar to a Chinese bbq pork bun. The everything Cragel was my favorite, everything seasoning and it was a consistency of a flakey croissant as a shape of a bagel. Sadly the donuts I tried were average and wouldn't have me coming back for more. Some donuts were really dense as if they were bread...

Yelp
The food: I needed a coffee pick me up while at the Domain and stopped by. My cereal milk latte was good though I wish they had mixed it rather than leaving all the espresso and syrup at the bottom. The donuts were good. I really wanted to love the brown butter and salt one but it was just ok. The caramel crunch was by far my favorite. The vibe: The staff were amazing and so personable. Made me and my baby feel welcome and wanted in the space. The shop has a great seating area that I would not expect from a donut shop. I could see grabbing a coffee with a friend and staying for a long chat. They also had really cute merch that I was tempted to buy. I resisted, this time...

Yelp
Really creative flavors, but the earlier in the day you can go to get them, the better because I feel like all the popular flavors sell out so fast. We tried The churro dulce de leche - this was my favorite of the two. The dough was so soft and I loved the sugar on the outside. It has a lot of filling, which is nice, and even almost too much filling. The cream was pretty thick and was a good mixture of sweet but also a bit salty. The cookies and cream - this one was good, but nothing really special in terms of taste. But I liked how crispy crumbly the texture of this one was.

Yelp
I've tried the vegan strawberry donut with peanut butter jelly filling at The Salty before and it's absolutely amazing! Perfect balance of sweet and nutty, super fresh, and you'd never guess it was vegan. Definitely one of my favorite flavors.

Yelp
Saw that The Salty was open and wanted to give it a try. I thought it was okay overall--I would describe the donut like a Shipleys donut but with better frosting. The dough is a bit dry and dense. I got an assortment of donuts and savory kolaches. The mixed berry cheesecake was probably my favorite of the sample. You can tell they mixed real fruit into making the frosting. Overall, the donut was a bit much with the custard filling. I would say the same about the other donuts I got (Samoa, horchata and glaze). A bit underwhelming. For the savory pastries, I got the cragel with jalapeño cream cheese frosting, the brisket and cheddar sausage kolache. The cragel was probably my favorite, but probably wouldn't get it again. The kolaches were very, very dry. The decor inside the store was nice and modern. I came on a weekday morning and found to go parking on the street. The parking structure closest to the store is closed off for construction so coming on the weekends and evenings might be a bit of a nightmare.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of visiting The Salty Donut on its grand opening and were not disappointed. The inside and outside are good looking and it fits right in in The Domain. One thing that is a big plus is that it's located not far from the parking lots so it's relatively accessible. We ordered a bit of a haul so I'll break it down briefly: the donuts are good, pretty different and interesting flavors all around; the oreo donut holes were okay, about as expected; the brisket kolache was bad, barely any meat or flavor which was a huge letdown; the coffee was pretty good and one of the more standout items we had there. Ordering is very straightforward and the time to receive our order was pretty quick. All this to say we also understand we went to their grand opening so they were on their "a game", which isn't a bad thing, just something to be mindful of. We have heard that the South Congress location is the more standout of the two but for what it's worth, The Salty Donut (in The Domain) is a delicious and fun way to get a sweet treat in. Stop by if you're in the area! If you want a better visual of the experience, look at my Tik Tok @ambermlee

Yelp
Overall these are ok "gourmet" donuts- personally I thought their bagels were the best item on the menu. They are just not worth the cost in my opinion. We got 4 donuts, 2 bagels and some kolaches and it was over $60. That would get you a lot of donuts at other spots. The service was friendly fast-casual style. This does seem like a nice place to bring a laptop and chill for a while with coffee and a bagel. I would recommend it for that. The donuts were not crispy like their bagels were, and the frosting/toppings were delicious but the donuts themselves were dense and not very flavorful- kind of tasted very bready. Similar with the kolaches- the dough wasnt the best. Tons of potential but seems like a spot where the OG was likely amazing but now that its a chain shop the quality has dropped and prices soared.

Yelp
This was such an amazing experience! This doughnut was absolutely hearty and delicious. They even dressed it up in such cute packaging. The lemonade was so light and fun as well. It was the perfect amount of sugar which I love. The counter staff was so welcoming and friendly. They were so patient while I made my decision. The entire experience was absolutely amazing.

Yelp
Mmmmm Donuts. The wait has been worth it for a true donut shop to hit the Domain. After hearing all the social media buzz I had to try this place out. Atmosphere: Modern cozy type cafe. The smells of the bakery with a coffee just makes everything taste such much better. Food: A good judgement of a donut shop is just to try the classics. I ended up getting a half dozen of simple glazed donuts and their "cragle". Very fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. Their Cragle (a croissant bagel) was a great savory option for those not wanting something sweet. Unfortunately my stomach is only so big but I would easily come back to try other treats. Personally I'm eying the Texas Chocolate or the Horchata. Service: Friendly counter top, there seems to even been a small take out window if you want things to go. I believe you can order online as well. A fine addition to the Domain as well as a great place to start or end the day if you make your way over. Looking forward to trying other treats.

Yelp
Charity bake sale at work and I decided to bring The Salty Donuts and ALL 4 dozen were a hit with colleagues and sold off quickly. All proceeds went to the Texas flood relief victims. If you don't plan ahead and use cater ordering, you'll have to wait until 12:01am to place an order for the next day morning pick-up. Learned my lesson, but absolutely worth it! Easy pick-up with a smile and you get to enjoy the smells of deliciousness. Until next time, can't wait ;D

Yelp
Pricey donuts but they are worth it. Rotating flavors and some mainstays. Good, strong coffee. Parking buildings nearby.

Yelp
The server was so sweet and provided so many options to try. There were options for both vegan and gluten free donuts which is so nice! The glazed donut was so fluffy and yummy! The brown butter salty is exactly what it says it is, salty. The interior of the restaurant is very cute and a nice place to stop in for a quick dessert.

Yelp
Better late than never - we've been waiting for this location to open for well over a year, and it's finally here! As a casual customer of the SoCo location, I was thrilled for this north location to open. We attended the grand opening and won prizes ($50 gift card, $5 off, $10 off, and a free drink) which they graciously allowed us to combine in a group purchase. My go-to order is the brown butter salted donut - this is the best donut out there! I also really love their seasonal iced matcha lemonade. I'm not really a fan of some of their other lattes as they're too milky in my opinion, but this spring/summer-y matcha lemonade is a refreshing drink. The location is small since it's tucked into Rock Rose Ave., but it's modern and cute inside and they sell the same fantastic items you can get at the other locations. Order ahead is available and loyalty points are also available. I can't wait to frequent this location since it's much more convenient to me than SoCo!

Yelp
Salty language is welcome here, though you'll only be cursing yourself for not coming sooner. The Salty Donut is best known for their brioche-style dough, but they always have at least one gourmet vegan doughnut flavor up for grabs. You never know what you're going to get, but I' have yet to be disappointed. From chocolate-passionfruit to PB & J, come with an open mind, and you'll leave with a satisfied sweet tooth.
google avatar

Christa M.

Yelp
Loved the donuts. Tried the brown butter salt and the cinnamon de Leche. Neither overly sweet, both very fluffy and delicious. The coffee was underwhelming. Got a hot cinnamon cereal milk and it was so sweet...too sweet. The caramel coffee was just meh.
google avatar

Autumn M.

Yelp
If you like donuts, then you must check this place out. They have so many different varieties, it's difficult to choose. I suggest visiting multiple times to make your way around the menu like I have. My favorite is the PB&J with peanut butter custard filling. I also like the new seasonal banana milk. Tastes like a deliciously frosted piece of banana bread. And don't forget their coffee options. I always enjoy getting a cinnamon cereal milk latte. The prices are not unlike other specialty donut and coffee spots. Unfortunately, when you add the non-dairy milk surcharge, your coffees can start approaching $8.

Yelp
They just opened this morning (6/6/25) at 7 A.M., and I got there early to be their first customer of the day :) The staff were friendly, and they even served us coffee samples as we waited for their grand opening. This location fits right in with other small shops at the Domain. They have limited seating inside and two tables outside. It is clean and modern-looking inside. Helpfully, they have a display at the register (of which there were 2 today) of all their donuts and other food offerings. I got a half-dozen donuts, the kolache, and a cragel (croissant bagel) with cheese. I love croissants, so I was very pumped to see a croissant crossover. It was very delicious, and they paired it was a whipped cream cheese (not necessary but also delicious) that came in a very cute espresso cup with a lid. The kolache was not overly special in the world of kolaches, but still quite tasty. The donuts ranged from just under $3 to just under $5 apiece and were quite different from each other, which I love. They are creative, delicious, fresh, fluffy, and very sweet. I'm not sure I could choose a favorite, but typically, an OG glazed is my favorite, but it wasn't today! I loved the glaze on the Mixed Berry Cheesecake, and the flavor profile on the Samoa was uber great, while the Brown Butter and Salt was crunchy, sweet, and savory all at the same time. The donuts are decadent and filling. My least favorites were the chocolate ones - the Oreo donut holes and the GF chocolate whoopie pie (too dense and not my favorite kind of chocolate flavor). I'll be back for another cragel (of course) and to try the other donuts from the menu.

Yelp
The Salty is a trendy small chain that started in Miami and this new Domain location is their second in Austin after the South Congress flagship that opened a few years ago. This one is much smaller with only three tables and no bathroom, but they still have a good menu of gourmet doughnuts and coffee. This is their first day so there were a few bumps in service like adding ice to coffee when I asked for no ice, but that was easily fixed. The Cereal Milk Latte was amusing and had a grainy cinnamon syrup that did a good job of simulating cereal milk, but I'm annoyed they charge $1.25 extra for half and half. Is that really necessary on a $6.25 drink that's only 12 oz. to begin with? Also, their lids leak. The doughnuts are imaginative and very photogenic and I got a couple to share and picked the one-day-only Maple French Toast one for myself. It has a nice fluffy brioche body and the filling is a bit too fluffy and insubstantial for me, but overall has a nice taste that needs more maple but does a nice job of simulating French toast. Excessively priced at almost $5 each so I may not come often, but it's certainly an experience worth trying at least once.

Yelp
So excited for a new location of my favorite place!!! Right on rock rose in the domain, there is limited parking around but they do have a garage a block or so away. The interior is traditional salty donut fashion with neutral earthy tones but still modern, and a few tables to eat at but not many. The staff was incredible start to finish and helped to provide some great recommendations. My personal favorite is the cookies & cream donut as well as the cookies & cream donut holes. I don't know how they've recreated an Oreo in donut form but it's delectable!! Other big highlights were the Texas sheet cake and brown butter. You really can't go wrong and they change their flavors frequently which is super neat too! They have a full coffee menu as well with a variety of drinks and specials, I had the salted Carmel latte which was a little disappointing, flavor was a little off. One thing to note- the donuts are on the pricier side, however they are delicious.

Yelp
Excited to see that The Salty is open at the Domain. I shared the pb&j vegan donut. These donuts are massive enough to share. The strawberry frosting was so pretty and I especially liked the creamy peanut butter filling. I also tried a sip of my husband's cappuccino. It was extremely hot which I like but proceed with caution! It also paired deliciously with my donut.
google avatar

Yelp
They ran out of the Terry Blacks brisket and cheddar kolache for my husband. I ordered the gluten free banana milk donut and it was moist and delicious. I wouldn't call it a donut per se, but it tasted more like banana bread in the shape of a donut. More gluten free options please!

Yelp
The Domain location of the Salty Donut finally opened today! As part of their opening specials, they had a raffle for the first 250 people in line to win prizes, which, of course, resulted in a line up the block. Despite the massive crowd, the workers were genuinely really friendly and struck up conversations with me. After waiting an hour and a half in line, I was really happy to be met with friendly faces! The inside of the shop is pretty small, with just three tables, but they do have a couple more tables and chairs outside. They have a display case of all the donuts, plus an additional display by the register if you need a visual to make your decision. There is a restroom right around the corner from the tables next to the trash can and water station (could be missed if there's a big crowd waiting for coffee :)). I've never been to the South Congress location, so I wanted to try the donuts they are most known for. I ordered: - Horchata Donut (5/5): This donut is a 24 hour brioche dough, and part of the inside is soaked in their homemade horchata mixture. I thought this would make the inside soggy, but it's more like a tres leches texture. The bottom is coated in Valrhona Caramelia chocolate, which is a fancy chocolate that has buttery caramel notes. I love that they thought to put chocolate on the bottom of the donut, which isn't something I've seen before! Finally, the donut is topped off with torched cinnamon meringue, which is fluffy and delightful. This donut was not only visually stunning, but delicious! I thought it would be really heavy with all the components, but the dough and meringue are so light that they carry all the flavors well. I do have to unhinge my jaw to fit it all in my mouth, but no complaints. - Churro & Dulce de Leche Star (4/5): This donut is made with the same 24 hour brioche dough, but it's shaped in a cute little star! It's filled with whipped dulce de leche, which gives it a super buttery, caramel flavor. This one is quite a bit smaller than the horchata donut, and didn't stand out as much to me, but I still enjoyed it. I do wish it were a little larger since it's about the same price as the other donuts. - Cold Brew & Lemonade (4/5): Two of the workers told me they LOVE this drink, so I had to try it. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but the drink was surprisingly refreshing! It really does taste exactly like cold brew and lemonade, which I know is impossible to imagine if you've never had it, but I guess it's kind of like a less sweet lemonade with a coffee aftertaste (that didn't sell it at all, sorry). If you like cold brew and not very sweet drinks I would give it a try! Overall, I was impressed with the Salty Donut, especially with it being opening day. Normally a new spot needs a few weeks to get things straightened out, even if it's a chain, but the Salty seems to have it all figured out! I would recommend this place if you're looking for a light and fluffy donut (I haven't tried their cake donuts yet, but the person working the register said the brown butter donut is their favorite!). They also have cute packaging for the donuts and drinks if you're looking to give someone a little donut gift.

Yelp
The churro donut is yum! Not doughy, perfect level of sugar and texture. Also had a cortado - it was ok!

Yelp
My sister had this before so she was so excited because of how delicious it was. But we were both disappointed due to the fact the donuts tasted old and had not much flavor to it. We were extremely disappointed because it was a Saturday evening so it was busy. I would not recommend this !!!!

Yelp
Went on opening day, national donut day, and it was a crazy as expected. The donuts are amazing. They've got basic flavors and some pretty fancy ones. Big fluffy and delicious! A new cute spot with checking out in the Domain

Yelp
The shop is a bit small but has some indoor and outdoor seating. We tried the samoa, mixed berry cheesecake, and the churro & dulce de leche star. The donuts were good but the mixed berry cheesecake was by far the best. We also tried the everything cragel. The cragel was good and very flaky. The price point is on the high side for donuts but it is a nice occasional treat.

Yelp
Uhhh yum! So excited to have a donut business in the domain! The line was getting long on Sunday morning but it was worth it. The donut selection is amazing! There is definitely something for everyone! The wait to get your order was real quick. It was the wait to order that took a while. Would be nice to have a menu display outside so people in line could decide what they wanted while they waited. We had long waits because people in front couldn't decide what they wanted. There is 3 tables inside, including 1 high top. There are also 2 tables outside but pretty limited considering the crowd. People found places to eat on the rocks throughout rock rose road. Now to the actual donuts. First off had to try to Terry Blacks Brisket Kolache and it was good but the brisket lacked a bit of seasoning. The donuts were delicious. We got the glazed donut holes and the cookies and cream, both were dense. The glazed were yummy and perfect kid size! The cookies and cream was super dense and could only eat 1 or 2. The donut holes come in half dozen orders and is super cheap considering. It was $3.70. While a dozen donuts is $52, we got the peach cobbler donut and that was also very good! Great consistency and flavoring. The everything bagel donut was amazing, it was very light and flakey and obviously well seasoned! We will definitely be back, hoping the open the pick up window soon after their grand opening weekend. Overall really loved the selection and the taste!

Yelp
Stopped by The Salty Donut at The Domain after a fun evening at the dog park with my pup, and it was honestly such a sweet little experience (pun intended). First of all, major love to them for being pet friendly -- they let my pup come inside with me, and that small gesture made my whole day. They still had a great selection of donuts when we arrived, and we ended up trying the Samoa cookie donut -- and wow. It was everything you'd want in a donut: rich, chocolatey, coconutty perfection with that gooey caramel situation that makes you stop mid-bite and just savor. If you're hoping to catch more of their fun flavors, I'd recommend going earlier in the morning since some of the popular ones sell out fast -- for good reason. The staff was friendly, the vibe was chill, and it's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment (preferably with a donut in one hand and a leash in the other

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon. There was a line of about 3 people in front of us which I think because everyone was indecisive took awhile to finally order. They were out of quite a fee of the donuts on their menu. Between 6 of us we tried about 4 different donuts. They were all good, but nothing wow'd me overall. If I'm in the area and in the mood for something sweet I'm sure I'd stop in again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come get donuts here. The seating is very limited so most likely plan on taking the donuts to go.

Yelp
To start the review the ambiance it is a pretty small restaurant on the inside only 1 or 2 tables inside only one picture on the wall and the name of the Restaurant they do have tables outside I think they probably get more take out business then dining in the Service all the employees seemed very friendly as this is the first day open and seemed pretty well familiar already with working the cash register which is impressive with being the first day open the food was very good I purchased 3 Original Glazed Doughnuts which was good the doughnut is a pretty good thick doughnut with more frosting then your typical store bought doughnut but there doughnuts are pretty pricey for a single glazed doughnut is 3.90 i believe there Dozen Doughnuts are 52.00 which is incredibly high they may want to change there prices in the future Overall it is a good well run doughnut shop they may want to adjust some things like the hours and have it close at like 1:00 in the afternoon or 2:00 as i do not think most people will want a doughnut late at night unless they are picking up some for the next morning if they want to stick with 8 pm they may want to expand there menu with Sandwiches , etc for the evening

Yelp
I'm glad The Salty opened in the Domain! Their donuts are amazing--especially the gluten-free option. However, I wouldn't recommend the coffee. The donuts never disappoint, the coffee consistently falls short, and I haven't had one there that I truly enjoyed.

Yelp
AWESOME!! Very cool donut options, baked to impress! I would give it a 5-star but cost was a bit high although customers definitely enjoyed the delicacies! Service was superb!!

Yelp
The best donuts in existence... Yes, worth the calories. Might ruin all other donut shops for you.

Sam R.

Yelp
They will not warm donuts up upon request and they are always made the day before. If you like cold and stale donuts, this is the place to go.

Yelp
Donuts was good, but I wouldn't recommend the coffee. I asked for a specialty coffee they had. They didn't have espresso due to machine not working. Instead they used cold brew. I was fine with it, but when I tasted it. Super bitter, so I went back to exchange it for a donut instead. Lady so no who was the manager. I wanted to exchange the $8 coffee for a $5 donut. I didn't feel like complaining, but working in the restaurant business for 10 years. The cost of coffee is minimal and saying no was bad customer service.

Yelp
I've been here twice and every single time they were out of donuts. They recommended to come very early

Anna P.

Yelp
They run out of their best sellers fast so come early. The donuts were just the right amount of sweet The person who attended to us was not smiling... maybe they were already tired or something

Aaron P.

Yelp
clean, friendly, and wide variety of options, AND they take care of their Domain neighbors? Come here, forget anywhere else in the Domain, this is a perfect spot to grab a bite or WFH.
