"Despite sounding like the musings of a Dylan Thomas enthusiast, this seafood bar is pretty straightforward. Locals wander in for half a dozen rock oysters while dates clink glasses over a plate of salmon sashimi outside. It’s a small slick space—part fishmongers and part restaurant—and the small plates menu draws inspiration from all over. The constantly evolving menu includes stripped-back fish and shellfish dishes that rely on the superb quality of the ingredients, with just a few well-judged accompaniments to help them sing. Some of the seafood is of prime freshness, some is dry-aged for extra depth of flavour – but it's all beautifully presented and naturally delicious.
