"A simple establishment tucked away from the tourist crowds, where everything revolves around fish, as one might expect given the name chosen for this venue. Right at the entrance of the restaurant, on the left, there’s the display of the day’s catch. From the menu, you can choose from various raw seafood dishes, ceviche, a selection of oysters, caviar, shellfish, and clams, along with Mediterranean fish that can be pan-cooked, grilled, or fried." - Michelin Inspector

Top quality seafood restaurant with plenty of locally sourced fish. I couldn’t fault any of the food choices we made even the freshly baked bread was a delight. Prawns were fantastic as a shared starter and the SeaBass was perfectly cooked. Also they have a store during the day selling fresh fish :)

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you ever find yourself in Malta. The service provided by our Waiter Leo and Waitress Lyn, was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was of great quality and well-priced. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

I came here for dinner and had high expectations, which The Seafood Market Grill was more than able to meet. I chose 4 different types of food (because I wanted to try as much as I could) - one was better than the other: Pink Tarbouriech Oyster, Dublin Bay Scallop ‘Tiradito’, Fish Soup and the Ceviche Plateau. My waiters Lyn and Leo took very good care of me and were able to recommend a wine, that paired well with both, the fish soup and the ceviche. This restaurant is a 'must visit' for Seafood lovers.

This place has the best grilled octopus I’ve ever tasted! Had dinner here twice in a row and tried various other options from their menu including oysters, tartare plateau, local red snapper, langoustines and more. Everything was fresh and tasted great! Excellent service and well-trained staff too, a rarity these days. I’ll certainly return soon!

This is an excellent restaurant that shouldn’t be missed. We had a fantastic time celebrating my Birthday . The staff were all friendly and ever present to address anything you might need from how to eat some of the stranger seafood items Dinosaur Toes (aka Percebes) - Goose Barnacles. Adam, the exec chef (and owner) was very hospitable and kind. The drinks, food, and dessert are worth your time and money. Definitely put this on your list if you are in Malta.

We initially booked a restaurant in St. Julian’s, but it only opened at 19:30. Hungry and not wanting to go to Valletta, we fortunately found the Seafood Market Grill. It wasn’t busy that night, so we were seated quickly. We started with the pink Tarbouriech oyster, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. The seafood soup was rich with contents, and while the octopus was just okay, the vegetables were magical when eaten together. The tuna tataki was very fresh. The langoustine, though tasty, was a bit soft and possibly overcooked. We were too full to fairly comment on the mixed grill of three types of fish. For dessert, we shared the fresh lemon sorbet, which was more on the sweet side and not quite to my taste. Overall, it was a good experience and worth trying.

Amazing experience. Maybe the best seafood in Malta. A little bit pricey but all the places with good quality seafood have similar prices. We ate really too much and paid (260€ 2 people with 2 cocktails). The tartar with prawns is like a DREAM, please try it! We also tried two big plates with mixed seafood and supplement of a lobster (totally worth it!) The staff is incredible and Adam always there to check that everything is fine. Delicious bread served always for free. We took the pistachio fondant (a dessert) and liked it but it wasn’t anything extraordinary. If we have more days in Malta, we would definitely make another visit. We will recommend it to all of our friends that visit Malta !! TIP: Go ahead with a reservation because the place is usually full! You can make a reservation online very easily in a minute! Thank me later !

Best Seafood that I've ever had. Had fresh made lobster and red snapper, both of excellent quality, served with excellent service. I'll go there again.
