The Sherry-Netherland

I had not been in this gorgeous hotel in many years and was thrilled that I had selected it. It is a “class act” in every way. The staff is most professional but also warm and welcoming. The architectural details are exquisite. The bedrooms are beautiful with every creature comfort. The location is also excellent and a convenient jumping off point for all areas of the city. Harry’s Cipriani Restaurant, located in the same building, is a marvelous and glamorous spot with delicious food. They provide the breakfasts for the hotel’s guests. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so very special.

We stayed for 6 nights on the 2nd floor of this somewhat historical hotel, we had a city view over looking the Dior store & open space seating. Our room was spacious, our bed was somewhat lumpy in places, however it was comfortable with air conditioning not being too stuffy. Nice amenities ( molten brown) bathroom was reasonably spacious. Very clean with fantastic shower. Good service from the ushers & manned lift attendants,

Lovely small hotel in great location in NYC. Loved the staff, amenities in the room and the small personalized service. Pricey, but would stay again. From the moment we pulled up, until the moment we left, we felt at home in the hotel due to the lovely staff.

My husband and I stayed four nights at the Sherry-Netherland in May 2024. The location is exceptional, right across the street from Central Park. A 30 minute or so walk going north takes one to museums such as the Met, the Neue Galerie, and the Guggenheim; going south, there are all the iconic designer stores such as Tiffany, Cartier, Bvlgari, and Van Cleef&Arpel. ||||Each suite belongs to a private owner who places it in a rental pool when the owner is away. It is therefore not possible to know in advance exactly which suite is booked. I specified a one bedroom interior suite but didn't know exactly what we would get. It was worth the risk.||||All of th staff are calm, friendly, and efficient. No one seems to be rushed or stressed out. Wonderful old world charm and elegance at the Sherry-Netherland.

Having lived in NYC on-and- for many years, I didn’t have the opportunity to stay in many hotels. So, when I scheduled a one- night stay recently, I wanted to stay somewhere special. I had always wondered if the Sherry Netherland would maintain its old-wold charm and it certainly has! I really enjoyed my stay….

Excellent, friendly, and helpful service in a beautiful setting. Large and well appointed room. Twice a day housekeeping.

We stayed for 2 nights when coming to see Hadestown! The service was wonderful, the room was beautiful, clean, and had that antique old ny feel. Its location is amazing! Across from Central Park, a short walk to The Met, and definitely within a reasonable nyc long walk to Times Squate/ Broadway! We can’t wait to come back!

Best location in NYC, 57th & 5th. One of these hotels which remind us that luxury means elegance, Dramatic views on Central Park or on Mid- and Lower Manhattan. Most beautiful elevators in the world. Outsanding service with the nicest concierge crew in NYC. Much more affordable than some posh hotels where people have no class. Cipriani on the ground floor is a treat at any time of the day, notwithstanding they accept guests without a jacket (shame on them ) Try Units 2309/2311, with a wonderful parkview and reasonable fares.
