Best Hotels to Enjoy Korea's Stunning Autumn Foliage: From Seoul to Jeju

"Nestled in the heart of nature, the expansive gardens and surrounding landscapes shift into a vivid palette of reds and golds, creating the feeling of stepping into an autumn painting. It’s an ideal base for leisurely walks through the lush nearby forests as you soak in the season’s beauty." - Aa-Young Kang

The Shilla Jeju (Jeju, Korea) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Where do Koreans go to get away from it all? One answer is Jeju, a volcanic island off the southern coast, a volcanic island that’s home to some of the country’s best scenery — and beaches. There’s no shortage of places to stay, but one of the biggest names is doubtless the Shilla Jeju, located on the southern, Pacific-facing coast of the island." - Tablet Hotels

Amazing view from the hotel, great service, wonderful activities and nightly entertainment. Perfect for families and couples. Although facilities were a little old and tired, the kindness and warmth of all service staff made up for it. All our needs were catered to and everyone was willing to go the extra mile even though we did not have any membership history or whatsoever with the Shilla. This was such a breath of fresh air compared to the poor service we got at Marriott Shinhwa Jeju despite having status with Bonvoy - so we will most definitely be coming back to the Shilla Jeju with a bigger group in the near future.

Rooms and the staff are fantastic. Everything costs extra. not only are the rooms expensive but they tack on charges to access any and all amenities. Wanna hit the sauna? 20,000krw per entry for example. Next time I will look for a less expensive option as the cheaper hotels we stayed offered far more free amenities but had less comfortable beds. If you don’t value your money this place is perfect.

The hotel may be a little far from the airport, but the warm, child-friendly service makes it truly worth it. Staff were always thoughtful and smiling, even providing a stroller upon arrival. Facilities are great for families, the pool lifeguards were attentive, and the beach is just a short walk away. The gardens are beautifully kept, and the unagi rice at the restaurant was excellent. Our child had a wonderful time—we highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful resort in Jeju Island. Room booked: Premier Double Mountain. Date of stay: Late October. Pros: - Beautiful room. - Nice location near the beach. - Helpful staff. - The buffet breakfast here is good. Cons: - The price is high. - Amenities that are typically free as a standard are offered here at a price. Overall, it is a good option.

Great rooms and facilities. Rooms need more power outlets in easy to reach places for charging devices. Free yoga in the pool was fun. One instructor excellent, one not so good. Pools a bit small for peak times.

One of the most prestigious Resorts in Jeju. Building is la bit old-fashioned, however service quality and location are beyond comparison. I really enjoyed staying here.

We booked the Shilla for 3 nights as a real treat when visiting Jeju island and it was disappointing. The pool facilities were too small for the number of guests and charging for beds by adult pool outrageous. Room was lovely. Porters at front door very unhelpful when trying to park for a quick change of clothes as car park was full. Not value for money as a bit dated.

Service is fine. Always felt that it was a little bit of an inconvenience to ask for help from folks. At night there was always a repeat of the same kidsbop style music singing. Rooms were old. Please see photos.
