Where To Eat Before & After A Hike In San Francisco - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Siren Canteen induces the kind of willful amnesia that people talk about after having a kid. You forget the saga of actually getting to Stinson Beach (which includes windy roads and bumper-to-bumper traffic) and block out the nine-mile hike where you ran out of water in the parking lot, because it’s the beachside shack at the end that’s always worth the trouble. Mostly because it’s fighting the good fight for the continued preservation of cheese fries amidst the ever more-healthy menus of SF. This place also serves burgers, quesadillas, burritos, and shakes." - nic strain 2

After All That Closing News, Here’s How Club Deluxe on Haight Managed to Stay Open in the End | Eater SF

"Despite influencers and wedding photographers swamping the spot, I found that the beachside Siren Canteen in Marin County remains in the hands of co-owners Iman Bengana and her mother Mary Margaret Stewart; Bengana says she’s disappointed people flock to the to-be-demolished building she loves, but the owners already have a lease with the National Park Service for a future Siren Canteen building to be constructed in the next few years." - Paolo Bicchieri

Classic beach food in classic beach surroundings. The burger is simple and tasty, prepared in a classic (there's that word again) style that is getting harder to find. The burritos are packed with flavor and don't skimp on the ingredients. Neither do the nachos, also highly recommended. Very friendly people too. Seating is a bit limited but not a thing, lots of turnover and, of course, beach seating. Don't miss this hidden gem.

Beautiful spot by the sea, very well Design, cosy and welcoming. The food was of good quality, fresh and reasonably priced. Would recommend the sweet potato fries. We had a gorgeous Sunday lunch here - will come back!

Great location right on the beach. Friendly staff and cool hippie vibe. Food is so so. If you are in the area stop by for a beer and snacks right on the beach. Otherwise I would give it a skip.

Amazing food. Rustic beautiful with amazing views out the windows. Pitched on a sand dune. Truly a beautiful place. It's the parks and recreation depart.causing the ruckus of opening..and closing them down. Just like they did with SF historical Cliff House which was an enchanting place.

Such a jewel find at Stinson Beach. Serving some of the yummiest burgers, tacos, fries, and shakes. The line is long but it moves fast. Worth the wait because the food was great and the view is awesome. Stop by and give it a try.

Too crowded over the weekend and expensive as well as per the quantity served. The food however is quality. The place is nicely done. They have given a natural touch to this place that makes you feel cosy even if you dnt want to go to the beach to have ur meal. You get good views of the beach from there. Prefer having food inside rather than on the beach as it’s too windy and all the sand can get into your food. We had a veggie taco, a swirl and a soda. Taco was good, pickles over it very a great add on. Swirl was great.

Great food stop right on the beach. Setting inside an old lifeguard post. Delicious and filling plates. Loved the nachos/homemade chips.
