"Sophisticated Entertainment The Smith Center's 2012 grand opening Downtown was a huge deal for Las Vegas locals. Finally, touring musicals like Wicked and Book of Mormon had a had home in the Entertainment Capitol of the World. Both the Philharmonic and the Nevada Ballet have made the Smith Center their permanent venues, and other hits have been a jazz cabaret that features the great Clint Holmes, dramas such as War Horse , and one-off concerts or speakers like Patti LuPone and Alan Alda. Staying on the Strip? Ask about shuttle service."

One of my favorite Vegas venues. This gem changed the city. The culture scene was never the same. Broadway shows, LV Philharmonic, special events, whatever you can think. Too tier performers. The building itself is a wonder. Make sure to go to the upper lever to sip a drink at the balcony with a great view of Fremont street. Valet parking and self driving parking all around, enough options. Enjoy and get back as many times possible.

Google
This is a really lovely place with a beautiful balcony overlooking the old town. My only issue was the seats were so high and far away that the view was restricted and the sound slightly impaired. Saw Back to the Future on our trip to Vegas. Wish we’d have got better seats! 99% staff were really lovely too.

Visited for the Nutcracker. Clean and immaculate. Had very expensive drinks in the dining area as expected for Vegas productions. Out weighed by cheap parking for a change. Staff friendly and efficient. Bathrooms clean. No complaints. Highly recommend.

It's always fun to come here for performances. I'm used to larger theaters, so I really don't mind the cheapest tickets at the top balcony. I feel like it's still easy enough to see. I still bring binoculars but rarely use them.

Great environment and atmosphere. I'll be honest I thought the Smith was going to be tight for some reason, and the whole atmosphere is chill and beautiful. Oh, we saw the Nut Cracker, my 1st ballet. I was waiting for them to start talking. Lmfao, hopefully everyone has a good laugh at that one as we did lol. Oh, and the drinks are reasonably priced, not like other venues. The place is a class act for sure.

First time at the Smith Center to see Back to the Future The Musical. $6 event parking at the garage close by, a Starbucks that stays open late if you need a pick me up before the show, and love facilities and staff. I bought a day of ticket through Stubhub to get an orchestra seat at half the price. Great venue!

A Night at Kimberly Akimbo – A Theatrical Gem at The Smith Center Last night, I had the pleasure of seeing Kimberly Akimbo at The Smith Center for Performing Arts in Las Vegas, and what a night it was! Sitting up in the balcony, Coke in one hand and a bag of Peanut M&M’s in the other, I was completely captivated by this beautifully crafted production. The Venue – A Stunning Setting for a Masterpiece First off, The Smith Center is a gorgeous venue, and the balcony offers a fantastic view of the stage. While it’s not as up close and personal as orchestra seating, the perspective from above allows you to take in the full staging and appreciate all the intricate details of the set and lighting design. The acoustics were impeccable—every word, every note, and every subtle emotional shift came through crystal clear. The Performance – A Perfect Blend of Humor and Heart Kimberly Akimbo is one of those shows that sneaks up on you. It starts with a quirky, offbeat charm and then slowly tugs at your heartstrings in the most unexpected ways. The cast was phenomenal, bringing depth and authenticity to every role. Kimberly’s character, navigating life with her unique condition while dealing with an eccentric and often dysfunctional family, was portrayed with such warmth and vulnerability. The music was fresh, lively, and emotionally charged, blending humor with poignant storytelling. The show strikes a rare balance—it makes you laugh out loud one moment and leaves you reflecting deeply the next. The book and lyrics were smart, witty, and deeply human, making the characters feel real and relatable. The Snacks – A Classic Combo for Theater Night During intermission, I enjoyed my go-to theater snacks: a Coke and Peanut M&M’s. Something about the sweet-and-salty crunch of the M&M’s with a cold, fizzy Coke just makes the whole experience feel complete. It was the perfect little indulgence before diving into the second act. Final Thoughts – A Must-See Show Kimberly Akimbo at The Smith Center was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The performances were top-notch, the music was memorable, and the storytelling was both hilarious and deeply moving. The Smith Center itself remains one of the best venues for live theater, making every show feel like a special event. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. If you get the chance to see Kimberly Akimbo, don’t hesitate—this show is something special. I left the theater feeling entertained, emotionally touched, and already thinking about when I can see it again.

Google
What a beautiful venue. Art Deco main hall took me back to "Great Gatsby" to historical pictures of Las Vegas. This time, it was only more glamorous, clean, and classy. Place is really easy to move around with plenty staff to give directions if needed. For anyone who likes litlle extra relaxation there are a fee bars with litlle snacks available. Performance hall is cozy with a magnificent sound system and clear view from all seats. The team is doing a great job managing late guests with limiting their access to main sitting until any break occurs. I am coming back 100%

Yelp
I went to the Smith Center to see Boney James on Saturday night. I parked at the Promenade garage across the street for a reasonable 6.00 (I was happy they weren't trying to price gouge) and made the short walk to the Smith Center. The Smith Center is a beautiful venue but confusing to navigate. However, the staff was helpful and friendly in directing me to my seat. I didn't take any photos, but the inside of the Smith Center, with its upscale setup, provided many excellent photo opportunities. Boney James performed an hour and 45-minute set, and I enjoyed the show. I would return to the Smith Center again, and I highly recommend it!

Yelp
My friend invited me to a live speaker show here and gave me a tour of the venue. I definitely enjoyed the tour and the show. It was National Geographic "Wild Cats Revealed" and I learned many things I didn't know about. The showroom itself was impressive with stadium like seatings. The chandeliers were beautiful. The elevators were clean and modern. Seats were plenty and comfy. The only drawback is that we have to park in the garage and pay for parking and there's no food allow in showroom I look forward to coming back here for other shows

Yelp
I love going to see shows at The Smiths Center. My sister and brother-in-law took me to see the Cher show last night. All the performers were wonderful. I look forward to all the Broadway style shows here.

Yelp
We had another enjoyable evening at the Nutcracker, but we were very disappointed that they no longer sell hot cocoa at the intermission (only before the show) and no longer allow you to take the hot cocoa into the theater even in the theater cups.... This was a big disappointment as it's our tradition and was something we were looking forward to.
google avatar

Yelp
Always have a good time here, from special events to show performances. There's actually no bad seating inside, even on the very edge of the theater, still pretty good views. Easy parking access and there are couple of coffee spots nearby for before or after chilling.

Yelp
Saw another great musical production at this venue (Shrek). This theater is beautiful, comfortable and staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is $6 and refreshments are reasonable (you can bring drinks into theater during show). The only thing I wish they would change is the ability to download your tickets into google wallet instead of going to to your wallet by logging into the Smith's Centers website (would make it easier to retrieve tickets). Overall, we had another great experience.

Yelp
Eric Darius is one of the most talented, exciting, entertaining and skillful saxophonist I've ever seen. His stage presence coupled with his ability to connect with the crowd was phenomenal. Throughout the night's performance, he worked the entire room as he walked while playing and entertaining everyone. He manipulated the saxophone masterfully as he mesmerized the crowd with jazz, R&B and soulful tunes. The venue was beautiful. It was a nice size offering guests a real intimate experience. Servers ensured all guests drink orders were fulfilled and did so, Without obstructing anyone's view. The concert started promptly at 8pm and ended 90 minutes later (as promised). The concert was amazing as was the venue.

Yelp
Awesome time. Great shows and great decor and vibe inside. Never been disappointed as it's always a great time and memorable experience

Yelp
The Smith Center was very comfortable and beautiful inside. I went there to see Back To The Future which was amazing! The stage was setup very well. I would highly recommend going here to see a show. I definitely plan on attending more shows in the future!

Yelp
In December 2023, we had the pleasure of attending The Nutcracker at The Smith Center for the first time, and it certainly won't be our last. Opting to splurge on box seats added an extra layer of luxury to our experience. A pro tip for future attendees: aim for the first row in the box seats. The subsequent rows come with elevated seating, and the last row even features high bar stools, which, in my opinion, detracts from the overall comfort. Despite the seating nuances, we found ourselves thoroughly enchanted by the production of The Nutcracker. The atmosphere was heightened by the sight of everyone elegantly dressed, creating a sense of collective enjoyment for this timeless ballet. Overall our visit to The Smith Center for The Nutcracker was a delightful experience, and we're already looking forward to our return. The enchanting ambiance, coupled with the allure of a first-row box seat, has left us eager to make this an annual tradition. Big shoutout to Justin Moore at the Ticketing and Box Office for helping us out with an ordering mistake. You saved us! Thank you!

Yelp
I really enjoyed visiting the smith center for my very first time. My whole family & I saw Mrs. Doubtfire, it was incredible! Amazing talent through & through! Parking is easy to find in the structures near by. Easy process to enter the center. Very clean place, all the staff member were so nice and eager to help. Quick service for snacks and drinks. The stairs were quite a mission, we had seats at the very very top. I didn't realize how steep the layout was and felt. Made me a little nervous for some reason being so high from the stage. The rail bar blocked a lot of my view but I moved around a lot to catch the show. I would recommend not sitting at the top. I would visit again with closer seats for sure next time.

Yelp
I love being able to support this theater with their different shows through the year. My only gripe is I wish they took cash at the bar but I can understand why they don't. We selected seats A215 and A216 in the gallery. The online map says the seats were obstructed but they weren't at all. There was a small handrail that didn't bother us. Get there early to take a look around and to be in your seats on time!

Yelp
We saw the Broadway show Come from Away. I love the 911 plot. The characters are very talented. It is very entertaining despite not having much props and costumes compared with the other Broadway shows we have seen. We are annual ticket holder and always enjoy attending and watching our Broadway shows. I wish they don't charge $6 for parking. One perk for us is they have EV charging for free at one of their garages.

Yelp
Very beautiful building! Such beautiful sharp geometric lines and designs. Definitely look up at the ceiling and the lighting whenever you can. We prepaid for parking at 350 S. City Pkwy ($6 for about 8 hours, as of Thanksgiving 2023). I just scanned my phone to enter, and there were plenty of spots a few hours before the event. This parking garage, by the way, has the fastest route to Downtown LV as there is a pedestrian bridge across the train tracks, which Google Maps doesn't seem to know about yet (but you'll see it in street view). Otherwise you have to go on a more circuitous route to cross the train tracks. There is light security, if you had a small water bottle you'd easily be able to bring it in. We paid $18.40 total (including tax/tip) for a beer and a water bottle.

Yelp
Saturday night we saw The Black Swan. It was so beautiful. They don't let you take pictures or record anything so you will have to take my word for it. The Smiths Center is a very magical place. If you are looking for something different to do get tickets and see a show. Peter Pan will be there soon if you have little ones.

Yelp
We saw the NBT Nutcracker on 12/13/24 and was mesmerized! The dancers are so talented and the stage production was beautiful. You really get lost in the story and it captivates your attention! Second time seeing it and I'm making this a yearly tradition. The night we went a High School Miriachi band was playing and they were phenomenal. Kudos for them. Please give them microphones next time.

Yelp
This theater is gorgeous! My friend surprised me with a ticket to see Idina Menzel and it was such an incredible beautiful show! We were in the biggest theater room they have and it showcased 5 tiers of balcony space and high ceilings! The stage and lights were magnificent! What a wonderful place to see such a wonderfully talented and beautiful singer!

Yelp
The Smith Center is one of the best additions EVER to Las Vegas! The building itself is architecturally magnificent while providing exceptional acoustics. We will always have season tickets to their annual Broadway series. Besides plays, we've also seen individual performances from the likes of Carol Burnett and Bob Newhart. There is ample parking, and you can pay in advance, making it much quicker to get in the lot. There are always employees on the streets before and after the shows assisting in traffic control. The location of the Smith Center makes it easy to get to from almost anywhere in the Valley. All of the employees we've met over the years are friendly and helpful. The Smith Center doesn't allow you to sell your tickets, but you can change the night of your performance. There are bars on the two main floors where you can get a drink or even some candy. In the past, you had to buy a plastic glass with a lid for a drink, but you could bring the glass back and they would reuse it without buying another one. We were very disappointed to discover that the policy has changed, and you can no longer reuse your same glass. Nobody could tell us why that happened. Also, check out Myron's next to the Smith Center. It is a wonderful venue for some fantastic music and events.

Yelp
Best venue in Nevada. Great sound Great staff and visually beautiful building The Smith Center hosts a broad variety of musicians and performers

Yelp
I went to see the Nutcracker. I never experienced a play before. I've never watched a play on TV or cared about it so when I was surprised with these tickets, I wasn't super excited. We pulled up to the Smith center and the Audi. Walked right in quickly Grabbed a drink and the ushers seated us. I was mesmerized the entire time. The experience here makes me want to attend more and more shows here. I found out you can get season tickets here that's crazy, right? But there are so many plays, and they perform often too. There is so much practice that goes into these shows that we don't know about everybody here gave it 100% and I'm thankful for the experience.

Yelp
We had the best night seeing Mania: The ABBA Tribute. I absolutely recommend Dress Circle Box X. There are only four chairs in the box, unlike the lower boxes. The views are amazing, you're close, but not too close. Usually these boxes are a bit cheaper than others, and in my opinion they offer an equal (if not better) experience! Don't sleep on a chance to see a show here.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the Smith Center! I al there usually 4 times a year. The productions are always great at reasonable prices. Any seat in the theater is a great seat!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to be when I'm in need of something unique and classy. You can make it a black tie affair or just dressy casual depending on the event. From live jazz at Myron's Place to broadway hits like Hamilton or Wicked, there is something magical and classical about The Smith's Center. The building architecture is art deco with every detail thought of from the door handle to the ceilings. Gorgeous callbacks of Gotham City in Vegas itself. Service is fantastic no matter the venue. Whether you valet or park yourself, it is very easy to navigate the well lit streets and helpful staff along the way. The place is kept so clean and is not stuffy. I do advise bringing a light coat/cardigan/sweater on cooler weather as it can be cool indoors. Nothing too extreme, but it makes sense with theater lighting and speaking. There are light bites in the second floor available for purchase and only snacks such as nuts and candy on the bottom floor. There are drink bars on both floors and cash or credit is accepted. If you do go see jazz, there are servers who will bring you the drinks and light bites, but if you are seeing a show I would advise grabbing dinner beforehand or afterwards. No one wants to hear chomping during a play. I would say there are no bad seats there either except the super high up seats which are very few. Most of the time I had a great time whether it's from the balcony seats, front row or center. Please don't have crazy high hair up do's as it could block the view from shorter people sitting behind. Ticket prices varies per feature, but if you sign up for their emails or mailings you can get great deals. My most memorable purchase is the National Geographic series with speakers from 4 different topics of expertise. Amazing footage from behind the scenes of the elephants in Africa, to images of Earth and space from a real Astronaut. Simply amazing. The tickets were incredibly affordable and I am a supporter of the arts and education being accessible to those who want it. They even have plays featuring local schools sometimes. So basically there is so new thing for everyone. I would not consider myself a theater or musical person, but after my first experience here, I am a total advocate of live music and live performances. We are capable of so much creativity and pushing ourselves to explore, learn and grow. The Smith Center is a testament to that and I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Beautiful venue! This was my first time to the Smith Center to watch the musical Mrs.Doubtfire. Upon arrival to the parking garage, we did have to park pretty high up, due to it being a Sunday afternoon, and there were plenty of people going to the children's museum nearby as well. Once you're out of the garage, you do have a short walk outside to get to the Smith Center. If you take a ride share, they drop you right at the front door. Once entering the main lobby, there is so much to look at! Very nicely decorated and very elegant! We were in the balcony, so getting to the seats did take a while. If you have a problem with heights, or get dizzy easily, please find alternative seating, and the balcony may be too steep for others. The show was amazing, and the lighting/music sounded top notch! They do have plenty of drink/refreshment stations on each floor, so you can grab something before hand, or during intermission. Very easy to filter out once the show is over. This is such a nice venue in downtown Vegas, I can't wait to come back for the next event!

Yelp
Every time I visit the Smith Center, I'm impressed by how pristine and enjoyable the venue is. I always look forward to seeing a show there, and the surrounding area is just beautiful.

Yelp
Since it's opening more than 10 years ago, The Smith Center has represented the type of cultural institution that we just don't see built anymore. The building itself is a wonderful blend of classic, Art Deco aesthetics, combined with all the modern amenities and technological advances we've seen since that bygone era. This building would just as easily be at home in New York, Boston, Chicago, DC or Los Angeles. Instead, it serves as one of the shining jewels of Las Vegas. The venue hosts world class performers, celebrated productions, and multitude of offerings for any interest or age range. From Gershwin to Wicked and everything in between, this is one of my favorite performing arts centers anywhere in the world.

Cathy M.

Yelp
Don't bring your kids unless they are robots and don't move or whisper questions about the show. After spending over $1000 I left there humiliated and in tears. It was the worst experience and treatment by ushers ever. However, the show was amazing. Why 4 and 6 year olds are allowed to a show and this happened is the responsibility of the Smith Center. There should be warnings or only allowed to attend a matinee for everyone's enjoyment. I was told it would be a great kids experience but it was everything but that. The show itself was sooo good!!! Don't miss out but do not bring your littles.

Yelp
Smith Center (Reynolds Hall and Myron's) is our favorite place for entertainment. Since we moved to Las Vegas a little over three years ago, we've gone to several shows and loved every single one. First of all, the location is outstanding, parking is plentiful and inexpensive, and we feel safe walking especially since they have so many people directing theater-goers where to go. They even have a complimentary golf-cart to take people from the parking lot to the theater. How's that for service? Can't say the same when we used to live in the San Francisco area, paid through the nose for parking and then walked with trepidation towards the theater. We are so impressed at the architecture --- every place we look, outside, inside, we found something to admire. We liked walking in between buildings where they have towering potted plants. When the jazmine flowers are in bloom ---heavenly! We loved the casual nightclub-ish vibe at Myron's especially since we can order food and libations. i was surprised at how good the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese sandwich combination was. In the main theater, Reynolds Hall, if one is lucky enough to score tickets in the boxes, that's the ultimate in comfort seating with great views. The acoustics are wonderful, too. The Broadway shows we've seen were outstanding --- Moulin Rouge, Six, To Kill A Mockingbird, Frozen, etc. Kenny G was a standout! So were Johnny Mathis, the boy bands of the 60s and 70s. Loved the jazz by The Hot Sardines. The Big Bands -- Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Lon Bronson--- brought truly wonderful music. Internationally renowned Shen Yun was ethereal. Looking forward to more incredible shows. If i have a complaint, it's on me for not being fast enough to get season tickets because they sell out so fast. So I have to just keep looking at the schedule to look for shows we like and see if good seats are still available.

Yelp
The Smith Center is a classy establishment in downtown Las Vegas! I was excited that my friend invited me to be his +1 to see Moulin Rouge. What a spectacular show! They have completely modernized the music while staying true to the storyline. It was fantastic! The center itself is well kept and the staff was helpful in directing us to our seats.

Yelp
Man, the parking garage is such a total joke. You either have to pay with the app or at the kiosks located at the gate, and there was literally only one open to leave it. There were some hundred cars trying to leave all at the same time. We did the app to save some time, but it was $9 to park plus an additional $1 to use the app. This app only allows you 15 minutes to leave the garage, and it took us over 30 minutes to get out. To top it off, we got another dollar charged. This was not typical Vegas parking; this was simply a scam. I will make sure to recommend parking elsewhere for sure.

Yelp
Outdid themselves last night. Opening of Ain't Too Proud, story of the Temptations was extraordinary. The audience was enthralled at the production, singing, dancing, We got very good seats thanks to our wonderful concierge at the Smith Center. I love the Founder's Room. If you donate a certain amount you can enjoy that lovely room and atmosphere. I hear there is a champagne venue now on the 5th floor. How chic!!!!! What a production. Just wonderful. Accolades to all!!!! Also I looked around the inside of the Hall and it is really beautiful. So many benefits to participating with the Smith Center.

Yelp
We saw the Nutcracker Ballet tonight & it was INCREDIBLE! The theater was beautiful! The dancers were just absolutely completely AMAZING!!! I loved the costumes & the stage props. I loved everything about the show tonight! The vallet was very efficient & convenient. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Wonderful performance hall. Reminded me of the inside of London's Royal Opera House which has similar theatre seating and balcony seating. They provide purchasable hot cocoa and hot apple cider which didn't seem like too much of a price gouge (even when adding a shot of liquor) The theatre tiself was nice (a little cramped) I thorougly enjoyed the ballet and the bathrooms have quite a few stalls to reduce wait time. Getting out and into the parking garage was not as bad as I imagined after the end of the show. Overall highly recommend and will be returning for future ballets and performances.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a marvelous venue for concerts, plays, performances, etc. Good seats and great audio. It could be a bit confusing finding your seat, though LOL

Ricardo B.

Yelp
After coming back from Broadway and watching 3 shows (Romeo & Juliet (with Kit Connor), Hamilton and Wicked) at 3 different venues, I realized what a rip-off this venue is. They got greedy and elongated the orchestra section making BALCONY, GALLERY and DRESS CIRCLE a horrible experience. Broadway theaters would NEVER. I will never again purchase a show for this theater because quite frankly, the prices for those 3 are disrespectful for the views. You need binoculars.

Yelp
The Smith Center is truly one of my favorite venues in Las Vegas. This performing arts center is absolutely stunning and I can't imagine anyone coming here and not enjoying the time spent. I have been to several Broadway shows here as well as multiple performances from the Nevada Ballet Center. Every show has been so incredible and the experience well worth it. There is a parking garage if you drive yourself (you do have to pay for parking) as well as multiple areas where visitors can be dropped off either by ride shares or friends/family. There are also multiple entrances as well, which keeps the security and ticket lines from getting backed up. Once inside, you are greeted by a picturesque interior and can literally take a photo from anywhere knowing that your background will be stunning. For the shows that I have been to, which have all been in the evening, there are a couple of bars where you can get drinks and small snacks (things like cashews and M and M's). They aren't cheap but also not as expensive as strip drinks. They also serve them in reusable cups which you can take home as a keepsake. I have sat both in the orchestra level and in different boxes. Both have been great although I highly recommend springing for the box for a nice, clear unobstructed view and space. Overall - I would highly suggest attending a performance here if you haven't already. Perfect for date nights!

Yelp
I've been a patron of Best of Broadway for decades. My first experience at Smith Center was for Les Miserables and, honestly, it blew me away! The venue, cast, music, stage sets and special effects exceeded all expectations! Husband was hesitant due to proximity to Fremont Street and crime, but this was absolutely perfect! We're going back in two months! Applause all around!

Yelp
I love coming here and seeing new shows all the time! I have been to the Reynold's Hall for bigger Broadway kind of shows and even a local Nutcracker. And have finally visited Myron's theatre (the jazz theatre) for Michelle Johnson's A Jazzy Christmas Show, which was such a beautiful show! The shows are always a pleasure and well-organized. The ushers are always helpful and try to chat with you. I loved how in the jazz theatre Michelle Johnson was outside after the show to chat with everyone; such great touch! Sometimes I even see parking lot attendants driving people to/from the parking garage to the theatre. For Myron's (the jazz theatre) you can purchase small bites and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to enjoy at all times during the show. I personally found the bowl of fancy olives for $5 a great deal and loved the flavor. Cocktails were about in the $12 range with fancier wines being a bit more. I recommend eating dinner prior to the show since there aren't any entrees for purchase except a grilled cheese and tomato soup for $9 which may not fill you up. The rest is classy snacky food like nuts, cheeses, flatbreads, cookies, etc. I love the dim, classy atmosphere of Myron's and highly recommend this for your next date night or even something cool for the whole family or to take friends visiting to. A few tips: The theatre that Myron's is in say "Myron's" on the glass window but up top on the building it says "Boman's", which is confusing. So look for this Also, for parking you can park for $2 an hour right there in the City Garage and signs to navigate you directly to the theatre are posted on the streets when you exit the garage. You can also buy parking on the Parking Whiz App and maybe get a deal if you are a first time downloader of the Parking Whiz app. I downloaded that app for the first time and ended up getting my parking in the City Garage for only $1 for the whole night since it gave me $5 off for being a first time user. Awesome deal. In Reynold's hall (it's bigger) you cannot bring in any outside food or drink and nothing is available to eat during the show (you can't have food or drink in the theatre). Refreshments are for sale in the lobby prior the show and during intermission though.

Yelp
Tonight I finally had the pleasure of watching Hamilton with my teenage daughter (she has been a huge fan for over 5 years) The show itself was phenomenal, the music and choreography were spot on. The Venue is beautiful, with 244 seats which doesn't seem like much but the space didn't feel cramped. I attend a lot of sports games and concerts and was expecting the prices for snacks and or drinks to be comparable to those events but was surprised to see they were $3-5 each item (excluding alcohol) I sat up rather high in the center balcony row E which after awhile my eyes were hurting (maybe I need glasses) So when I go to watch the Nutcracker in December I purchased tickets in the gallery area so I will have a better and closer view. I definitely recommend coming a little before your show and looking around.

Yelp
What a theater! Parking is convenient, entry is a breeze and staff are awesome. Parking for The Smith Center is phenomenal compared to other theaters I've been to. They have staff running the lots and directing traffic, as well as having go carts for folks to ride to and from the lots. Amazing! We attended Reynolds Hall to see Frozen: The Musical and were absolutely stunned by the layout and architecture of the building. It's gorgeous, spacious and very well thought out. The seats were quite comfortable and not too squished from row to row. I loved the bar situation and the reusable cups that they use. The shirley temple was perfection. Perusing the other levels was like a dream. It was just one surprise after another. No level looked the same and I will say it's like a maze, but in a cool way. The staff were awesome and all were so friendly and welcoming. I'd be glad to visit The Smith Center again!

Yelp
I almost missed out on one of the best concerts I ever attended. I am so thankful for the persistent members of my family for convincing me to go. Serpentine Fire was the group performing. They performed songs from Earth, Wind & Fire, and I was just ecstatic! The minute the music started, I could feel my spirits just rise. The seating in Myron's is fabulous. Not a single "bad seat" in the house. View of the stage is perfect from everywhere and loads of room for those who want to get up and boogie down. I don't know if the menu changes, or if it is a standard one, but everything we ordered was awesome. (Tables on the Mez were quite small and didn't fit all the plates of food.) Spiced cashews and dried fruit, fruit and cheese plate, flatbread with beets, and shrimp cocktail, all were superb. I will definitely be back here in the future.

Yelp
We have season tickets to the broadway show series for 22-23. We love the smith center and how convenient it is to get to. Fast entry even when crowded. Friendly and very helpful staff members. Parking is $6. Due to an "event" you pay a little more. You can Park off of S. Main St. in the downtown area and walk across the walkway into the parking garage if you'd like to save money. The rate is one dollar an hour. You can bring in drinks as long as they are in the Smith Center sippy cups that they sell if you order any drinks. They are reusable so you can bring your own drinks if you'd like. We have box seats section C and each section has eight chairs with four chairs being seat height and for behind those that are bar hight. The chairs in the back row get uncomfortable after awhile due to your feet not being able to reach the floor. Would recommend seeing any of many shows the Smith Center holds!

Yelp
What an amazing evening at the Smith Center. My husband and I had tickets to see Moulin Rouge! We were so excited and delighted to be back at the beautiful Smith Center. We have been here prior and seen other shows prior. There's such an excellent venue and terrific line-up of shows, performances, plays, and even academic lectures year after year. Moulin Rouge was amazing. I was dancing in my seat. Just incredible. Every employee at the venue are always incredibly helpful and with a smile on there face. I loved the show and love attending all events here. Another remarkable night.

Yelp
The whole experience at the Smith center is fun and if you like a variety you can see musicals, plays, and concerts. A not so fun thing is If you are in the top rows of the balcony you are very high up and very far from the stage.

Yelp
I was recently here for the first time to see ANNIE. A favorite person of mine as a child. I've never been to The Smith Center before & I took an Uber here & it was night time so it wasn't easy to see the outside grounds. There is an area to get dropped off & picked up when using rideshare. I wasn't sure where to go inside as there was more than one door to enter. There were some men who were directing traffic that I had asked & he had told me where to go. Once I walked in there was a counter where someone was sitting which looked like an info booth then to the right was a metal detector that you had to walk thru & once thru security was there & asked to look into my purse. I had read on their website that they had purse size restrictions so I arrived with one of my smaller purses. Then after going thru security there were employees to scan your ticket. I had purchased 2 tickets but had used the "share your ticket' thru there website to my friend so if she arrived before me she didn't have to wait for me to get the ticket & could just go inside, which is what she did. The girl who scanned my ticket made a comment on how I had two tickets. I found it odd since my friend had already had hers scanned & was in and that it was still showing up on my end?? I told her that my friend was already inside. The area outside the theater is small & was a little crowded. There are 3 bars in there & one area where they were selling ANNIE merchandise. My friend & I went to the bar to grab a drink. They have snacks but it said that you couldn't bring them into the show but I guess people do it anyways & the snacks were just a couple candy bars & a small container of cashews. I got the cashews, they cost $5.00 not too bad & they were tasty. I decided to get a double vodka (Tito's) so my drink would last me longer thru the show. I noticed you could get a sourniver cup for additional $3.00 which was really small. Well I didn't realize that the sourniver cup comes with a lid & that's the only way you can take your drink inside the theater is with a lid on it. I saw the charge & I made a comment to the bartender of being charged for this cup when I didn't ask for one then he had pointed out why & he just removed the $3.00 charge. Once my friend & I got into the theater I took a sip of my drink & OMG!! Talk about strong & there was no ice in it. But hey there isn't any room for ice cause then you wouldn't have much of a drink. So if you don't like your drinks strong then don't get a double. It was a little torturous to drink but I did it!! During intermission I went to a bar & had them put ice in my drink that I had already gotten 1/2 way thru. It was better but still strong. Now the theater & seating......................the theater is a good size. I ended up picking some good seats. Center on the bottom & apx 11th row from the stage. 2nd & 3rd seat in. I prefer the 1st seat in the aisle as I hate to bother people to have to get up if I need to get out but being this close to the end wasn't too bad. But there is NO place to put anything. Seating is tight. I ended up sitting on my program which ended up falling onto the floor, had to hold onto my sweater, wear my purse, hold my drink in one hand & my nuts in the other. @ times I had to ask my friend to hold my drink to open up my nuts. I saw cup holders on the bottom of the seats near the floor but not sure how your suppose to reach them while sitting in the seat, forget about being able to see them in the dark theater. LOL The balcony seats up high didn't seem like the view would of been that great, to me your probably looking at the top of everyone's heads on the stage.....lol Sound was good, lighting was good & the show was FABOULOUS!! Those young kids are very talented at such a young age & not having all the experience as the adults. Everyone did a good job even Sandy the dog!! lol I would definitely come back but be better prepared for my seat. I think you can bring your "theater" cup back to avoid the $3.00 charge.

Yelp
This center is phenomenal. There are many parking options that are across the street. You can also pay for parking ahead of time on parkwhiz.com. The fee was $6 for self parking in the garage and $12 cash for valet parking. They also have handicap parking in the garages. There are metal detectors upon walking in and bag checks. The venue was stunning and very charming! There is lots of room for seating and anywhere you sit, the view is outstanding. During intermission, they had hot cocoa, wine, liquor, and water for sale. There are water fountains as well near the restrooms. During the Nutcracker, Cashman was there to provide photos for a fee with the Nutcracker himself. Will come back for more plays :)

Yelp
I was very fortunate to be invited to the Las Vegas Philharmonic performance of Sibelius symphony 2. I enjoy classical music, however I really don't know much about them. This performance featured a cellist, which I am a fan of the instrument. The Smith Center is beautiful. Modern in every sense with marble pillars. No gold leaf trim. Five levels of box seating make the venue very dreamy. We were in P Box on the second tier. The Smith is across the park from my home and I will have to follow future performances.

Yelp
Parking and traffic horrible! Need more workers more direction! Worst set up at this facility to park!
