The 13 Best Restaurants In London Fields - London - The Infatuation

"Snapery East’s toasties, breakfast muffins, and pastries are a cut above. We’re looking at you, melted cheese and sriracha ketchup-smothered sausage muffin. This bakery-cum-brunch spot housed in one of London Fields' many converted arches is ideal for escaping the Broadway Market crowds come the weekend—especially given its airy covered (and heated) terrace. Make sure you also leave with a loaf or baguette for the road." - jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna

The 17 Best Places For Brunch In East London

"The Snapery East is a bakery that serves brunch, or a brunch spot that bakes everything in its airy London Fields railway arch. Either way you look at it, its toasties, breakfast muffins—with melted cheese and sriracha ketchup-smothered sausage—and pastries are a cut above. You could get a springy focaccia sandwich to go, but it’s worth taking a seat in the covered and (crucially) heated terrace out front. It’s a spacious, calm spot, particularly ideal for escaping the Broadway Market crowds come the weekend." - jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley

The Snapery East Review - Review - London Fields - London - The Infatuation

The Best Places to Fika Swedish Style in London | Eater London

"The Bread Station is actually run by a Danish chef Christoffer Hruskova and Per Brun — the latter pioneered sourdough in Denmark. A Swedish source says that the bakery makes the best pastries for fika in London, so it’s all good to savour the deliciously light tebirkes, sweet poppy seed rolls." - Alex Peake-Tomkinson

Our most regularly used local bakery, so it’s clearly doing something right. Nice selection of breads and pastries alongside a covered outside area for coffee and snacks. Probably not quite operating at the level of when it was the Danish Bakery (and no longer also trying to be a deli) but still a great place to get fresh sourdough.

Went on the recommendation of friends as we were doing a “bakery tour.” Sadly, we couldn’t really sample their bread as it was sold out, but we did get a couple of sandwiches, so we know what their rolls are like. The lamb sandwich was fine not earth shaking. It is served warm, but by the time mine got to me, the cheese was no longer melty… maybe stand by to collect yours, if possible… Interesting lightly pickled veg inside and spilled out onto the plate. The sausage sandwich was served cold, and ready to go from the counter was pretty good! The environment is very serviceable. We did take some buns with us for later, these people know what to do with flour and water and sugar! The “pot” of tea didn’t feel like a value, but the tea was better than average. The latte was nice smooth coffee with just the right amount of milk and a nice foam on top.

INSANE pain suisse. Trust me (I go at least once a week). After trying all the bakeries & coffee shops in the London Fields, Hackney Central and Cambridge Heath areas, Snapery East remains the best one.

Great pastries and service Big selection of fresh baked goods. Sourdough bread is 👌 It has a nice terrace for eating or drinking your coffee. They also do lunch specials, and have juices. Be aware they only take cards (due to covid) I’ll Be back I’m always back’ One really good breakfast pastry is the bacon Danish roll that also has some chili jam inside Try or, good for kids as well, very friendly and on a quiet street

Best bakery near London Fields. The bread, pastries and sandwiches are always brilliant. Great spot to sit for lunch or work remote, always free seats and under the cover of the canopy. Staff are all delightful too - the Irish fella in particular is always on good form!

Delicious coffee, well made. Matcha was tasty and well balanced but a little gritty. Their breads looked delicious but I didn’t get to try any! Open early even on a Sunday is a plus for me!

**EDIT*** The management reached out to me, which I think says a lot about how much they value their customers opinion! I went back to try the salmon breakfast sandwich and this time around enjoyed it quite a bit more! The bread was soft and it tasted fresher. Also got a cardamom roll which was reallllly nice. Coffee was a big improvement as well:) I’m glad they reached out and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Esther and staff! Original: The girl at the front was pretty rude. The sandwich I got (mushroom and egg) tasted old, stale, and cold. Honestly did not feel worth the money. Coffee was not very hot and milk wasn’t steamed well…..No wifi

Colorful, great staff, quiet area and tasty home made food. You can also relax sitting outdoors, customers are nice people. The food quality is the best, they make their own ingredients and you can feel the passion for their work on every delicious bite. Definitely, a wonderful and charming place to come everyday.
