Amazing wings! They aren’t joking when they say their wings are the best on the island. Good beer selection. Had a Guinness and it was perfect. Also tried the corned beef sliders with spicy slaw and it was great. Love the history on the walls! This is going to be a regular spot!

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at the snug pub the night before our wedding on Tybee, and it was amazing! The staff were so sweet and helpful, and our guests only had wonderful things to say about the food and the vibes. I know we’ll all be coming back. Thanks again for everything you all did to make our night so special!

There was so much on the menu that I would enjoy, so I ordered the Reuben. The sandwich was okay, but the fries were stellar. Crispy, salty and plenty of them. That would be the end of the story except halfway through my meal, I decided to get 5 wings since the menu said they were “the best on the islands”. I chose the “everything but the kitchen sink” flavor as it said it was an owner’s concoction. If you’re a wing eater, get them. I can’t imagine better wings. One of my buddies was with me and also agreed. Wish I lived here. I’d be there a couple of times a week. Friendly, attentive waitress, cool pub atmosphere. I imagine it’s a great place to watch football on a Sunday afternoon!

Awesome Pub with some of the best Shepards Pie I've had! My son loved Kevin's Fish Sandwich! Buffalo wings were a must try too. Loved the laid back environment. Owner, Kevin, took good care of us. If I lived here, I'd be a regular.

Delighted we found the Snug during our stay in Savannah. The food is FABULOUS - we visited three times. The Fish Sandwich with Beer-Battered Cod & Swiss Cheese on a Pretzel Roll is next level. Spicy Coleslaw is great and Fries are sublime. The Reuben is excellent and the Pies (their version of pizza) are absolutely the best. Kevin (server/bartender) is awesome. Great little find in the Wilmington Island hood.

We LOVED The Snug!! We tried to dine at a neighboring establishment, only to never be waited on after being seated. We left that establishment and walked to The Snug and what a GEM this place is! Brooke was our server and she was an absolute ROCKSTAR!! If I could give her 1000 stars, I would. She was amazing!! She kept our drinks filled without hesitation, brought us everything we needed and more, made recommendations, and had an overall pleasant attitude and was FUN! The atmosphere in The Snug was amazing. Everyone was enjoying themselves. It was decorated so nice for St. Patrick's Day. The Snug was spotless clean, including the restrooms. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much for having a great restaurant/pub and great employees!!

Cold beer ✅ great pizza ✅ amazing football specials ✅ all football games ✅ If you want an amazing bar with great food this is it! Comfy vibes. The bartender Meghan was amazing, She kept my beer full. The GM, Fran, came out from cooking in the kitchen to talk to every single customer. 10/10! Me and my family will definitely be back

The food is good and you don’t even gotta get drunk to say that. Who knew fries could be good taken home afterwards. The leftovers we brought back still taste hella good and that’s CRAZY for far more expensive places, let alone bar food. 10/10 fr

Great local joint, delicious food, sport/family friendly with great service. The ambiance was very inviting, fun and very relaxing for our families who traveled all day. The bar pies were delicious! The Snug has their own unique spin to the meat lover with corn beef but highly recommended with the HP drizzle on the side. The Guinness Beer Cheese and Garlic knots went quickly at the table, and the stuffed mushrooms were just right. You can't be at an Irish pub without noting the drinks, and let me say the cocktails were GREAT! Had the Irish mule and the Top Shelf Margaritas. The staff and other patrons were very nice and right before we were leaving the patrons broke out into a melody of "Sweet Caroline"

We have come here a couple of times and I have enjoyed each time. The staff is always really friendly and quick service. The first time I came here I got shepherds pie and the second time I got fish and chips.

This place is literally the best place ever. All their food is good. All of the staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and the ambiance is perfect. Seriously, if you haven't been, you gotta check it out. Almost moved to GA just for this place.

The Snug is a hidden - went in for the Champions League final & every tv was blasting the match. First Shepards Pie ever & I enjoyed it - mashed potatoes were creamy & the beef had a great unique flavor Their pizzas are considered " bar pies" - which are nice & thin. I loved it. Lastly, something special about the Guinness I had there... very smooth Kid friendly and the staff & service is top notch... we will be back

This place looked interesting so my daughter and I decided to check it out. There is a parking lot but it's not super big and it looks like people park there that are visiting some of the other places near by. The outdoor patio area is very nice and inviting. Inside there is a large bar, high tops and regular tables. Chris was our server and he took good care of us making suggestions and checking in frequently. They have a nice beer selection. There are lots of meat staples and Chris suggested the Shepards pie or the Rueben. We are vegetarians so we opted for the margarita pizza and the Greek salad. Each one is suooosed to be one serving but we split the pizza and the salad and had left over pizza to bring home. The food was good. It's nice but a relaxed atmosphere.

Place is meh.. Way too overpriced for the quality of their food. The pizza crust was too chewy the first time I went. Only have been a couple times but don't plan on making a special trip out the house to go here again.

The snug is a great place for a drink, food, and to catch a game.... Rueben's, Shepherds Pie, and the Bar Pies rock and the fries are crispy! @8 beers on tap plus Guinness. Since the renovation @1-2 months ago the place is open and airy with not a bad seat in the house. Highly recommend! I really believe they make the Best Reuben in Savannah!!!

It's well hidden back off the road back behind Molly's. But search it out as you will not be disappointed. They know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness. Hopefully Carrie is working to take care of you as she is an amazing server. She steered me to the Reuben sandwich which was incredible. Really good corned beef some of the best I have had. The fries are wonderful and well seasoned. The pies are authentic and are the best around they are a slice of New England.

This is such a great little bar. Adorable ambiance and the best drinks. Also major shoutout to Alex! He walked our cousin out of the bar and made sure she made it to her group safely. 5 start is not enough

Wings are amazing . Mozzarella sticks are really really good if they come out fast enough and don't sit too long you can tell btw. No ones fault really people get busy. Overall yes very good and they care about their customers which is cute .

Sat at the bar on a rainy Friday night and the live music was really nice after a long day. Bartenders are great and the bar is large, organized and clean. I didn't come to eat so I'll update when I do. Austin Williams is the guitarist in my photo. He's got a nice voice and a Facebook page. Check him out because you might've seen him around.

What a hidden treasure! And it keeps getting better! Menu is expanding, service is awesome, super cozy and fun. The Snug is veteran-owned and operated by awesome, experienced crew and managers who have long been in this local market. Family-friendly and FUN! Music BINGO on Monday nights. Karaoke Saturday nights. Live music Friday nights and more! Third Thursday of each month brings local artists out to show their wares and more local musicians! Oh and there's even a kid activity area and dogs are always welcome on the patio. Nine TVs playing your favorite sports (just ask if you don't see it).

I live locally and have been to the Snug a few times once it opened a year or two ago. The pub has expanded and the owner is a veteran and I've seen his kid's come to the pub after school and grab after school dinner with Dad. It's hard not to root for this place from the start. I can now with the recent expansion and changes made to the menu give a complete endorsement to the pub. It's a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. Good people. Good food. Y'all should patron this place. You will not be disappointed.

I've waited to write a review, as I didn't want to hinder an establishment that was "finding its way". From what I have heard recently is that the Snug is being restructured, so thought it's a good time for constructive criticism. I had returned in the fall of last year to the USA after 8 months in a vegetarian community in Costa Rica. Not being a vegetarian, I was looking forward to some hearty meals! The idea of going to an Irish Pub was enticing. Since I have lived in London for 3 years in my past, I was hoping for a great selection between fish & chips, bangers & mash, meat pies, yummy roasts & stews, and my favorite corn beef! I hope my comments regarding my past experience can help you for future. We were greeted well, but after that the good service ended. We needed to ask for every standard item regarding table service...water, silverware, salt & pepper....our server felt untrained & lost! Upon looking at the menu I was quite confused, finding the highlights to be pizza, mozzarella sticks, & chicken wings. Having also lived in Italy for close to 15 years...the last thing I would order is Italian Cuisine from an "Irish Pub"! The only Irish comfort food I found on the menu was Shepards Pie...that I love! So I ordered..... The Shepards Pie arrived as a CHUNK on a plate looking unsavory & unappetizing. Upon my first taste I realized it was a microwaved meal that had been cooked somewhere in the past. Upon trying again I found the meal fit the standard of microwave heating....some parts hot, some parts cold. Gordon Ramsey would have lots to say about this! LOL I asked the server to please have it reheated, and I know for sure they just popped it back into the microwave. The meal returned to me in the same state, parts super hot & parts super cold. Being OVER IT at that point I ate the mediocre meal to resolve my hunger. I am not a complainer when I am at restaurants, so I left without expressing my views.... I truly hope hope now my opinion can help you in your restructuring!

Great New England bar pizzas. Wish they had salami as a topping though. Definitely give it a try.

I've been out of the country for a few weeks and upon my return, I was informed that a new Irish Pub had opened off of Johnny Mercer Blvd. on Wilmington Island. Well, I definitely love a good pint of Guinness, so the first thing I did was come here to Yelp to see if there were any reviews. Not finding any, I then checked Google to see exactly where this pub was located. When I saw that there were already 38 mostly 5-star reviews for a place that was only open a couple of weeks, and moreover that the vast majority of these so-called reviews were all posted by people with no previous reviews to their name, or only one previous review in their posting history, I immediately suspected that the reviews were phony and had been posted by employees or friends of the business owner. Nevertheless, I decided to check it out today. I showed up about noon and was warmly greeted by the bartender as I walked in the door. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a pint. I have to admit that it was well-poured and one of the best-tasting pints I've had in Savannah. I wasn't hungry, but took a look at the menu anyway, as well as glancing over at food that was delivered to other customers. Although the menu is pretty much limited to bar pizza, wings, and salad, everything looked well prepared, and the other customers appeared to be enjoying their food. I ordered a second pint and began watching some college football on one of the several tv screens. After finishing my pint, I requested my bill, curious to see what the charges were since no beer or mixed drink prices are shown anywhere on the menu. That's when I learned that each pint was $8. Coming from Miami, this seemed normal to me. But having lived in Savannah for a few months now, this seems more like a price you'd find in the historic district, not out in laid-back Wilmington Island. That said, I think the price is fair and I'll definitely be back to try some of the food. And perhaps award a fifth star at that time.

Ended up here by default. Went to go to another local establishment and they were under renovations so we came here. Nice little place. Very clean - bathroom immaculate! Limited menu. Pretty full bar. Had wings and they were good size and very tasty - very hot right out of the oven/fryer. Ordered a pizza and honestly it was meh at best. Took home and will pop it in the air fryer . Taste was fine , nothing over the top. Will come back and give it another try. Not going to one off it but will give it another chance and try some other menu items. Service was good and so were the drinks. Very clean over all.

There's literally nothing Irish about it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's excellent. Great beer selection, solid pizza and wings, and dessert provided by flirt. A great addition to the island!

Nice little bar. Came in on a Friday evening and they had live music which was enjoyable. Drinks were good and the bar tender was friendly. We ordered a couple pizzas and jalapeño poppers. Everything was good and came out hot and fresh!

This is a nice neighborhood type of bar. Just had drinks here and they were good and generous. Music they play is good too. The one thing I didn't like was that they had Fox News on the television. Turned me off.

I went to The Snug for the first time last night to try a simple favorite... The Rueben. Service was slow which has come to be a norm but the main dining room was full so we sat in the room next to it. No one seemed to know we were there. The room was cold. The first thing we saw was another couple sending a pizza back that was made incorrectly. When I got my Rueben it was almost entirely fat. I couldn't even bite into it. After having to sort through the meat I ate a mostly sauerkraut sandwich. The fries were over cooked and because they put the sauerkraut on the bread rather than putting the sauerkraut between the meat and cheese....one side of the bread was completely soggy and fell apart so what I ended up with for my 16.00 sandwich was half of a sauerkraut sandwich with a few pieces of meat. It was disappointing to say the least and not a restaurant I will give another chance.

Food was amazing! Had best time karaoke with my family! The staff was the best getting us all up singing!

I had a wonderful night at The Snug on beautiful Wilmington Island singing karaoke with friends. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. Frances, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We will definitely be back to The Snug soon!

Happy about this place existing. Pizza brought me back to NYC and haven't had that nostalgia in a long time. Staff is fun and nice enough! Glad there's a place to grab a cold Guinness and stuff my face with pizza. Odd request. If you guys ever do a clam pizza like frank Pepe's I'll come eat it.

Hands down best pizza in Savannah area right now. Pizza is always hot and fresh. Wings are tasty too. Atmosphere is friendly and staff is attentive. Definitely worth a stop.

They are open and it's fantastic! The service is pleasant and the food is superb. Nice view as well. Parking is abundant.

Who ever heard of an Irish Pub that doesn't serve Irish food. Calling a pizza an Irish Pie doesn't change the fact it's a pizza. We had the wings. Had better. The food served can be found at any number of bars on the island for a lot less.

We really want to love this place because we can walk to it and it is veteran owned. We have been twice. On the plus side, the place is very clean, and the staff are friendly. They have a limited menu, and honestly the food is not good. The wings are listed as jumbo wings, and they are very small. I got the pizza, and the crust was very limp. I even sent my pizza back for some extra time in the oven, and the crust still came out limp. The food options are much tastier in Molly McGuire's, the Crow Bar and Basils. We hope the Snug can improve their food because we want to come back.

A group of six of us had drinks and dinner on Tuesday evening. The service and attention was great. Everyone was very happy with their entrees -- I had the meatball sub sandwich and it was very good. Others had bar pies and wings. no complaints as they scarfed em up. Very friendly place and looking forward to a return visit!

MY fav place on the island!!!! Great pizza, great staff and amazing drinks! We can't say enough about our snug family!

We love Snug! The pizza is delicious and the service is great. We live close by, so we go here often!
