The Snug Review - Pacific Heights - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Cross a cozy library and a mid-century modern ski lodge, and you have The Snug. The Pacific Heights bar is not that snug—it’s a two-level space with ample seating, funky geometric nooks, and a sizable sidewalk parklet. So no need to worry about smelling your neighbor’s breath or getting elbowed in the cheek at the bar. The cocktails are also excellent, like the deceivingly strong paloma slushy and a nitrogen-carbonated margarita. And above-average bar food, ranging from tater tots to popcorn chicken to double smash cheeseburgers, is here if you need sustenance. Post up at a bar stool on the second floor, so you can try to read the lips of the low-stakes first dates happening down below." - Julia Chen

The pour a right proper pint of Guinness. Decent little pub on the main drag. We stop every time we are heading to Bayfield. Occasional there’s some traditional Irish music. There’s a deck out back with some seating as well. I’ve never eaten there but the food looks delicious. They have some other craft beers on tap but honestly, I always get a Guinness. A few Irish whiskey available as well.

Great little Irish pub located in Washburn! Great Guinness pour, along with plenty of food on the menu. Friendly and welcoming, it's what you'd expect from an Irish drinking establishment! Highly recommended! 🇮🇹☘️

All five stars for our annual fishing group! Scotch eggs and car bombs are a must! Owner/ bartender is great his wife cooking is better and its a must stop after a long day on the ice. Even the crazy woke liberals in the booth that were flipping us off the entire time because of our pro American hats made for comedic relief. MAKE PUBS GREAT AGAIN!! Thanks snug!!

I had the Roost Beef sandwich and their soup of the day. The beef is flavorful and tender. The soup was well seasoned with perfectly cooked vegetables. The staff was friendly. I have been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed. The owners really enjoy what they do and it shows!

All the other sandwiches and food items are inspired by the owners travels to Ireland and are unique and authentic. They also have live music and events that attract a good crowd.
