Best Halal Restaurants in Austin | Eater Austin

"This restaurant nails Indo-Chinese cuisine, offering a menu that is friendly to meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. Try the chicken Manchurian, Mongolian beef, garlic fried rice, or spicy beef sambal, or opt for some of its veggie-focused dishes, like paneer tacos, chana masala, and vegetable biryani. Sequester yourself in its indoor dining room, which is decorated with dark woods and red walls, or order food to-go to devour anywhere you please." - Erin Russell

A Five-Star Experience at The Spice Garden! The Spice Garden truly exceeded our expectations, delivering an absolutely wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing every dish was bursting with incredible flavor, and knowing that it's all halal made it even better for us. Beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant was impeccably clean, with spotless tables and plates, which always makes for a more enjoyable meal. We were also very impressed with the prompt and attentive service; we received water as soon as we arrived, a small detail that made a big difference. The Spice Garden is a gem, offering incredible halal food in a clean and welcoming environment with excellent service. We can't wait to come back!

I have been to this restaurant over a dozen times and the food is always consistently delicious. Very generous portion sizes with an amazing staff and atmosphere. I always order the same two dishes Dragon chicken and Mongolian beef. If this is your first time going I would recommend those dishes. One of the staff Aqdas approached us asking how the food was and very friendly to my father and I. All the meat is HALAL.

Google
First time. Found by looking for nearby restaurants open till 11pm and a rating of at least ****, Very nice restaurant and the Chinese food we ordered came very tasty and the portions were nicely oversized - don't recall when was the last time prior to tonight that I took a doggie bag home. Great food presentation on also very nice tableware was adding to the feeling of being happy to be here. We'll be sure to come back and try more goodies from the sizeable menu.

Google
Good food and great service , Khushi was with us the whole time . Her smile and friendly nature made our experience even more memorable. We tried their dragon chicken , mangolian beef , hot and sour chicken soup and chowmien… they were all flavorful and in good portion. In dessert we had the dates wontons with ice cream, something new and delicious combination.. really enjoyed! The best part was that there was no wait time , the food came soon after the order was placed. Indeed quick service. Highly recommended!

Google
Absolutely delicious!! Was driving north from Austin and couldn’t decide between Chinese and Indian when this place popped up. No regrets. Very generous helpings with strong (and authentic) flavors and cooked just right. My husband and I decided to split three dishes- the General Tso’s Chicken, Butter Chicken, and Vegetarian Singapore Noodles. Both chicken dishes came served with alot of rice. We barely ate half before we were stuffed and are leaving with a full meal’s worth of leftovers. Staff was friendly, restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

Google
This was a fantastic hidden gem we were recommended and I couldn't recommend it enough. The food was sneaky delicious and had large portions. Everything was well priced and they certainly amped up the spice level. The service was a tad slow when we first came in (lunch) but once we ordered the food came very fast.

Google
Excellent food and service! We were amazed by the Palak Paneer and the Karahi Chicken. The Tom Yum Soup, everything was great. Santoshi K. took excellent care of us. Very courteous staff. Spice level medium was perfect on both of our dishes! A+++++!!!!

Google
Our server, Aqdas A., took excellent care of us. Everything was delicious and hot.😋 We especially like the lettuce wraps - tasty and a generous portion. 1st time we have eaten Paneer (fried cottage cheese) - it was surprisingly good! This was our 2nd time here and we will definitely keep coming back.

Yelp
The best lamb saag I've found in the area! The Indian food was amazing. Looking forward to coming back for Chinese as well. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The ambience is welcoming. It's good for small parties or a small group. My friend and I were so comfortable in our booth chatting we closed the place down.

Yelp
Ever since I moved to the US, finding an authentic street-style Indo-Chinese has been hot or a miss. It was easy to find one in the Bay area or NYC but in Austin I was always left with disappointment until I got recommended to The Spice Garden. Arrived here on a Saturday night and I should say the exteriors and the interior and the ambiance were really worked into. It wasn't your regular Indian restaurant. It reminded me of entering a large PF Changs. There wasn't a wait time when we arrived but got really crowded post 8pm. Got our seats and service was prompt and quick. Such an easy to handle and elaborate menu. My order: Veggie dumpling Chinese bhel Chilli garlic noodles Gobi Manchurian Veggie dumpling was amazing. Well steam and filling was well cooked but the side was so spicy but still tasty. Wish they served more than just 3 pieces. The Chinese bhel was such a disappointment. It wasn't fresh and it smelled bad. The taste was towards the sweeter end. Would never recommend it. The Chilli garlic noodle and Gobi Manchurian stole the show. They were just perfect including the texture, taste and spice level. I could just eat the Manchurian directly as a main dish. The quantity is so large and the price is on the expensive side. This restaurant can be a frequent destination.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner to check this place out. The price on the menu is pretty pricy and portion is quite big. We ordered paneer pakora and chilli chicken as I have liked chilli chicken and wanted to see if anyone could beat one of the place we love to go. Here chilli chicken comes in different style so we tried it and it was ok. Not impressing or anything. The fried paneer was good. We asked the server to have our food comes out all at the same time but what came out first was veggie pakora and we didn't except it. However someone stepped up and said they would fixed it and we again made sure that we want it all at the same time. At time of pay, our server was giving us the check and mentioned that he repeated the order twice ... which kinda put us in an at fault for not listening and correcting him? To me it was kind of rude. That kinda put my whole experience down to 1-2 stars. But because the other server or manager step up and try to make it right, I leave it at 3. The decor was nice. More up scale. I would say I wont be coming back. Not the type I like.

Yelp
Exceptional food! The food are rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, you can taste the layers of flavor in every bite. The lamb curry was velvety and comforting, the lamb rogan josh was incredibly tender. Fried rice leaf curry is a bomb. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I ordered from this location via the Yelp app on July 19th and 'yikes' is the only word that only way to explain what I received. Shrimp Tom Yum- For those who are living under a rock, Tom yum is a type of Thai hot and sour soup where the iconic flavors come from 3 herbs: lemongrass, galangal, and makrut (kaffir) lime leaves. This soup had an extra ingredient in it (a human hair), so in the trash it went. In addition, the small shrimp in this dish weren't deveined. While it's safe to eat shrimp that aren't deveined, some people prefer (like me) it be removed because it can be gritty in certain preparations and can also contain some grit from the shrimp's bottom-feeding habits. Chicken Lollipop A chicken lollipop is a fried chicken appetizer popular in India, often served at Indo-Chinese restaurants. The dish features trimmed, marinated chicken wings that get deep-fried and coated in a spicy Szechuan sauce. The name "chicken lollipop" is a nod to how the chicken wings look after trimming. While this is normally an appetizer I enjoy, this time around I did not. Why? The chicken for this dish was hard and dried out. Mongolian Beef- The beef for this dish was gamie (not in a good way). Gaminess isn't necessarily a bad thing. When eating exotic or wild meats, gamie can potentially mean a higher quality of meat, not filled with antibiotics or genetically-modified grains. The meat was gamey in the way that seems like it ready to turn. Chinese Bhel Chinese bhel is made out of crispy fried noodles tossed in an Indo Chinese sauce along with fresh crunchy veggies and herbs like scallions and cilantro. This was the only slavagable thing I ordered. I guess thats because its impossible to fumble a punt. This was $102.84 blown!

Yelp
Their food is always AMAZING, very delicious Chicken Butter Masala, Burnt Garlic Fried Rice are just a couple selection recommendation. The only thing I wish is that their naan was a bit more crispy, but that is more of a personal preference!

Yelp
This is a great option to sit down and eat or takeout! The inside is well decorated and clean and the service is kind. Loved all the foods we ate - the chicken Thai curry was a nice creamy fusion, the shrimp chowmein tasted great with chili oil, and the dragon chicken was crispy and tasty! Look forward to coming back!

Yelp
I love that they have so many vegetarian options!! I ordered my food to go. First was the veggie dumplings. I got one order steamed and the other Szechwan. - both of them I give a 10/10 on flavor . The rider of 3 is $8 and the dumplings are the size of a golf ball. I think maybe a 4th dumpling would be appropriate but I would order again forsure! I got the garlic Naan which was very flavorful and perfect texture. Last I had the Gobhi Manchurian which was fried cauliflower in a brown chili type sauce. This is why I took one star off. The cauliflower was not seasoned whatsoever ever and quite greasy. The sauce however was delicious- I ordered it medium and I probably could have gone for the next level up as far as spice goes. The sauce was great to dip the naan.

Yelp
Nut allergy friendly: Let your server know but there were no nuts in anything we tried. Order - to - Entree: 15-20 Minutes I placed a reservation for 7 on a Wednesday evening at 7:45 PM, which didn't seem needed because the restaurant was pretty empty. Dishes I tried: Kasmiri Lamb Rogan Josh (4/5): Effectively a slightly sweeter Lamb Curry with saffron flavors. I liked it better than the regular lamb Curry. Lamb Curry (3.5/5): Nothing special, not too spicy. Nice that it came with rice. Chicken 65 Fried Rice (1.5/5): Barely any chicken for what it is. Wouldn't recommend. Mongolian Beef (4/5): Solid, not spicy. Garlic Naan: Only came with two pieces for order, which is very little for the price in my opinion. Portions were decent. I'd say one dish can be lightly shared with 2-4 people, or comfortably filling for one person. They do have a buy one get one discount entree at certain hours.

Yelp
Where has this place been? I often shy away from fushion places mostly because it's hard to find one that does both cuisines justice. However, I think I found one that wasn't only tasty, but the staff is top notch, and to boot, all the meat is Halal if that is a concern. Atmosphere: clean contemporary and minimalistic. Extremely good Feng Shui of the tables. Good spacing and nice placement of items in room. The Staff: super concerned with your experience and if you are enjoying your time and food. The Food: oh my, try the following 1.) Paneer Pakoda - perfectly breaded cheese bites without the guilt of a Mozzarella cheese stick. the Dipping sauce is addictive( yogurt based chutney-like the new Tartar-special sauce) 2.) Fried Fish- simply clean and health season just right. Again the sauce! 3.) Samosa- I am very picky about my Samosas- This one is very good and not too much ginger like most people due. 4.) The Singapore Noodles- So I am mixed- it tasted good, but not enough of the yummy curry oil was you seek. The ingredients are there. But as a Szechuan lover this one was the most underwhelming. However it does carry the taste of traditional noodles. Good job with the wok flavoring too. You can taste it. 5.) Butter Chicken- Yea order this. 6.) Mongolian Beef- This may be a contender for one of the best flavored Mongolian Beef's in Austin.

Yelp
Very clean and nice restaurant. I got the Singapore noodle dish and the butter chicken with garlic naan. The Singapore noodle dish was new to me but it had rice in it as well. The flavor wasn't my favorite but it grew on me later. There was so much food I had left overs for days. You definitely can come here and split one meal between two people. Butter chicken was fantastic. It was up there for me.

Yelp
The Spice Garden offers fusion Indian and Chinese food that has big menu. All of your favorite Chinese and Indian from butter chicken to Mongolia beef. A relaxed vibe to the place where we were able to get seated right away on a Thursday night. There is a nice mix of veggie and non veggie options on the menu. I got an order of the chicken dumplings and lamb curry. Both were really delicious. The lamb curry had very delicious spices to the dish. My one complaint was the food was a little pricey for the amount that you got. Overall I really did enjoy this spot and hope to go back again to try some other dishes.

Yelp
Always a little nervous when an "Asian" restaurant offers multiple types of Asian cuisines so I wasn't sure about the Thai curries, but Indo-Chinese food is a very real thing and it can be very, very good! In this case though I was craving a spicy biryani and this place delivered. It was honestly delicious- the rice was fluffy, lamb was tender, spice level perfect, served with lime, purple onions, raita and a boiled egg. Will be trying more dishes for sure.

Yelp
My valentine wanted Chinese food for lunch today so I asked Google for the highest rated Chinese restaurant in the Round Rock area and it came back with the Spice Garden. The Spice Garden is listed as an Indo-Chinese restaurant so it offers both Indian and Chinese entrées. It opens at 11:30 and we were the first customers of the day. It's a very nice restaurant but very dark so bring a flashlight if you want to read the menu. They have lunch specials in both Chinese and Indian food. We ordered the Manchurian chicken and the Mongolian beef, both with egg drop soup, egg rolls, and basmati rice. Egg drop soup was the best I've ever had as were the eggrolls. The egg rolls were not served with any condiments such as sweet-and-sour sauce or hot mustard, which was a little bit disappointing. The Mongolian beef was very chewy and a bit light on the sauce. The flavor was good. The Manchurian chicken tasted more like Indian food than Chinese. Both entrées were pricey at $18 and $19 for the lunch portions. The service was good. If you're looking for traditional Chinese food or Indian food, I would recommend Bayleaf in Round Rock Indian but for Chinese, nothing stands out in Round Rock.

Yelp
We have ordered from here countless times and loved almost everything we've gotten. The food is very flavorful and we love the variety on the menu. They have the absolute best Tandoori Chicken! Like ever. Do yourself a favor and order it. Your life will change. All the meat is cooked well and juicy. Flavor is I point and you can pick your spice level preference. So thankful we found this spot!

Yelp
We are new to the area and have been trying to find different places to eat. We found the Spice Garden online during our search and thought we would give it a try. It did not disappoint! Santoshi was extremely helpful in our meal selection decisions and a really super sweet person. She checked up on us regularly and ensure we were enjoying our dining experience. The food was just AMAZING. We purposely ordered extra dishes so we could get to taste different dishes. We really can't wait to go and eat here again.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try out The Spice Garden for quite some a while now and finally had the time to sit and enjoy a meal. The vibes are wonderful there. Very cozy but elegant. We enjoyed the service, the servers are knowledgeable with their menus and served us our food fairly quickly. We ordered three mini tacos for apps and our main courses were Mongolian chicken, and butter chicken with naan. The food was fairly tasty. The only thing I would say is the restaurant does run on the pricier side. For a party of 3 we ended up paying 100$. Overall: Food: 5/10 Service: 8/10 Price: 2/10

Yelp
Everything we ordered from here tasted great! The portions were large as well and we had plenty of leftovers. The restaurant was clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and timely. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Good spot for indo Chinese food. We ordered the cumin chicken and veg lettuce cup. The cumin chicken was really well cooked and seasoned perfectly, with not much spice or oil which is the way we like it . The lettuce cups were okay, the filling was a bit oily for us but still tasted great. Ambiance is welcoming, service was a bit rushed although we ordered half hour before closing, but still was okay. Overall, would return for the great food .

Caden W.

Yelp
The chicken fried rice was deliciou. Food was hot, tasty and seasoned well. server was very personable. The chicKen in honey is very good with a nice interior and the food came out fast
google avatar

Yelp
Extremely bland Indo-Chinese cuisine. Was much tastier under previous management and when they were part of the Inchin franchise. We ordered so many dishes and everything was saltless and flavorless. What a letdown.

Yelp
AMAZING!! The food was so full of flavor, and the service was excellent! I can totally see why it has such great reviews. I will surely be coming back as a regular!

Yelp
I was surprised by the crowd on a Monday night! But understand now. The food is fresh and delicious. Portion sizes are big, so make sure you bring some people with you so you can try different dishes. Also service is great--so friendly! I'll be back!
google avatar

Sidra M.

Yelp
The food from here is goood quality Chinese. It's fresh, not super oily, and just the right amount of flavor. You can adjust the spice to your liking. Really enjoyed the fried rice, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken. It was fast and great as takeout. The service is friendly, and they have a great ambiance to dine in. Wish I took pictures but the food was gone before I could.

Yelp
Food was all amazing. Everything we tried (both from Chinese to Indian to the fusion dishes) were great and delicious.

Yelp
Luckily we were in the mood for some soup, and came across this gem! The food is beyond fresh and perfectly prepared! It's been a while since I find that everything we order, which it's usually quite a bit (to be able to try different things and then enjoy leftovers later) was amazing! We would come back for each and every single thing we ordered. The lamb curry (only at a medium heat) was just SO savory and believe it or not (for me) the heat was not only tolerable but it made the taste even better. Wow, this place is making me rethink levels of heat I try next time; thank you!!! The owner took time to swing by our table - Farhan (I hope I'm spelling it correctly, I apologize if I did not), the owner swung by our table to see if we enjoyed the meal. I greatly appreciated it wasn't just a check the box and but engaging! We even learned the chef is his son-in-law - which we joked about and Farhan joined in on the banter.... We MUST try the Mongolian beef, as Farhan informed us, it's the best thing on the menu! We had ordered too much, if not we would have added some Mongolian beef to go, lol. Farhan also explained that his son-in-law's thing is to cook and serve only fresh ingredients - I CAN attest the fresh (and NOT frozen, as Farhan explained) was beyond noticeable - thank you!!! As I wrote this while at the restaurant and to "put the cherry on top" we were so full, when Farhan swung by our table to see if we wanted dessert. Honestly, we were stuffed but Farhan actually offered to bring us a dessert "on the house"; Gulab Jamun - and WOW!!!!!! The son-in-law does it again!!!! Bottom line, you WILL NOT regret coming out to try ANYTHING on the menu!!!! Thank you Farhan and we will absolutely come back and we WILL order the Mongolian Beef (along with many other items)!!!!!

Yelp
Always love there food. Even after name change food tastes great. Indian and best Indo Chinese food

Yelp
Nice, clean restaurant with a vibey ambiance. Food was pretty good, my dad got the butter chicken and I got the garlic pepper chicken. Butter chicken was much better than the garlic pepper. What I will say is that the server we had was so bad. You could tell he did not want to be there what so ever. Hands in his pockets, shirt buttons opened, leaning on the bar counter, didn't check on us at all. Had to wave him over for a refill on a drink and then when I asked for sweetener for the tea and he never brought it. He seemed annoyed at our presence. Another server could tell we were ready to close out and came over to do it for him. I could tell the other 2 servers were good, I don't know what was up with this guy. I've been a restaurant manager for several years and if it were me, I would send him home if he doesn't want to be there which is more than obvious to anyone around him.

Jared T.

Yelp
Excellent food! This place has really tasty food and they even have a BOGO for half off another entree, but beware that even though the noodles are the exact same price they don't consider those dinner items to be entrees (which makes absolutely zero sense), but whatever. I learned the hard way that it is a very limited number of items that are considered entrees in order to get the BOGO deal. Other than that non sequitur, I highly recommend this place!!
google avatar

Samyukta S.

Yelp
The Spice Garden offers exceptional Indo-Chinese fare with a nicely decorated, upscale ambiance. I'd argue that this restaurant is the only one offering quality indo-Chinese food in the Austin area. Our go to items to order here: 1. Hakka style chili chicken. This dish is so tasty! The chicken is cooked perfectly and the gravy it comes in is to die for. 2. Burnt garlic fried rice. We always order this without fail. This goes so well with the chili chicken! 3. Lat Mai paneer. Fantastic appetizer! My husband says this is the best chili paneer he's had since moving to the states from India 10+ years ago. We often order delivery as well, and find that the food remains warm and fresh. One thing that could be improved is the price. This place is expensive! Each dish can run us roughly $18-$20, which I think is a bit overpriced. I really think the owners could benefit from offering full service catering and investing in a larger restaurant space with a banquet hall. This is one of the only high quality Indian restaurants in Austin. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Loved it! Forgot to take pics, though. All food prepared well and very tasty. Veggies were fresh. Good serving sizes. Clean & tidy restaurant. Great service. Will go back soon! Appetizers ordered: Chicken Lollipops and Thom Yum with chicken. Entrees ordered: Mongolian Beef and Singapore Noodles with shrimp. I'd order all the same food next time, but I'm looking forward to trying some of their Indian dishes! Went there early; right at 5:00 when they opened. They offer Buy 1 Entree, Get 1 Half Off from 5-7pm, Mon-Thur.

Yelp
Everything on the menu is Halal! Great food and a great vibe every time. The staff is so helpful and friendly! #halal

Yelp
We love the Spice Garden. We regularly order takeout from here but it was our first time sitting in the restaurant. The ambiance was nice and it's probably the nicest indochinese place here in Austin Round Rock area. We ordered the lunch special: which is soup, a spring roll and your choice of entree with fried rice for $17pp. The fried rice was really good and soup was warm and comforting. The spring roll was fine and we liked the vegetable patties and the mixed veggies. The service was good and the owner was accommodating because the kitchen was about to close. He told us how business has been and how they have taken steps to improve service post COVID. When we get takeout we get the dry gobi manuchurian, the burnt garlic fried rice and paneer chilli or lettuce wraps. The overall rating is 5 stars! We will be back!

Fawad R.

Yelp
I ordered a hot n sour soup and had bitten on some sort of a sharp piece of ceramic in it which hit my teeth and gum. I made a complaint right away . They offered extra soup or some dessert for which I said no to. At the end they didn't even compensate on the bill just did not charge for soup. Places like these takes these kind of things very seriously which they didn't so it goes to the owner or chef's part. I did not feel compensated which is why I'm giving a review for my experience. Food otherwise was not that bad in taste. Just expected a better response .

Yelp
Amazing Indian food! I love the way the naan is made! Amazing customer service, attention to detail & very prompt. Awesome food with budget friendly prices! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Amazing place! Our kids loved the chicken lollipops so much they wanted to come back the next day. My husband and I split the lamb curry and the saag paneer! So good. We got the lamb in medium and they didn't play! Still, we WILL be back any time we are in Austin/Round Rock!

Yelp
This place is outstanding! We try to visit every time we are in town for work. Well worth the drive from the south part of the city. I get sensory overload, flavors are so well balanced. Highly recommend it

Mudassir A.

Yelp
We visited this place after a year and this time around we felt like their service was well below standard. Not once the water was refilled, neither the plates were moved. The owner did not come and check on us either. The food is overpriced and not worth it. There is no flavor, the schezuan beef tastes the same like the kungpao beef. I'd recommend going some where else.

Nitin N.

Yelp
It was a busy day for sure, but their service was really good. Server was keep on checking if we we are doing good. - thai Curry was really good, and I highly recommend - samosa was bit oily, taste was okay, so I'll give it try again but will definitely update Server to soak those extra oil before he serve - hukka noodle initially they messed up but when I told Server he took it back and fixed it, but it was okay I have had better, but spice level wise it is a good choice for kids. - Chinese bhel was also okay. Overall my experience was 3.5 :) but Yelp give option to give 3 or 4 so I am giving 4 because of Server as he was very nice despite the busy day. I definitely recommend this place. It has good vegetarian and vegan options as well, and sometimes when chef change recipe to make it vegan it lost taste but they were able to maintain it and my vegan friends loved it. So yes definitely I recommend this place. Give it a try. Next time I'll try their chicken soup, as per owner it is one of their specialty. #indochinese #Vegan #AustinRocks

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service. My wife and I loved our lunches. She had Indian and I had Chinese. The food tastes like it's done dining. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
We ordered a takeout. The order was really quick - we picked it up in 15 mins. Ordered dragon chicken, chilli fish, chicken 65 fried rice and shrimp chilli garlic noodles. My favourite was the chicken 65 fried rice, but the dragon chicken was too spicy.

Nanda K.

Yelp
We used to visit this place which used to be Inchin Bamboo. I think place has similar menu and now known as the bamboo garden. We tried a lot of food as we went with our friends. I would say what we liked the most, it is. Curry fried price with a spice level 3 - it was the decent food that we liked on that day. I would rate it 3.5/5. I eat less spicy food and I felt I could have easily had 4 as the spice level. Chicken 65 - was another decent dish we had on that day. It will be 3/5. I just realized we have ordered the baby corn appetizer but we haven't received it on the table and was charged for it. Chicken momos with schezwan , we were mentioned it would be pan fried but didn't looked like it. 0/5 Butter garlic noodles - 2/5 it was decent compared to the other food as well. Masala soda - there was a bunch of chaat masala sitting in the glass and was not properly mixed. The place was not completely packed and looked a decent outfit. The complete food was very bland and not tasty. We drove all the way from San Antonio to try this resturant and wouldn't recommend it at all.

Nina M. R.

Yelp
Best Mongolian Beef in Austin period! They have perfected this dish to the point of I won't order it anywhere else. It just doesn't compare! Put this on your bucket list and you will be in heaven after the first bite. Not kidding run don't walk and make sure you order this perfection on a plate. You will not be disappointed...

Yelp
First time going to an Indian restaurant. The spice garden didn't disappoint. Excellent food and great customer service

Yelp
We were in Austin for the long weekend and had Soice Garden one night, and it was amazing. We had a large group and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Food was too good to get pictures, but we had chicken lollipops, exotic crunchy shrimp, wok fried chili fish for appetizers and they were all great. For main course we had hakka noodles, kung pao chicken, garlic burnt fried rice, and the stars of the night were the mongolian beef and cumin lamb. Amazing! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Austin!

Yelp
Food and service were terrific. Ambience was great and as it was a weekday it wasn't crowded at all. Irfan and his crew are excellent and Chef knows his stuff. Keep up the good quality and service!!

Yelp
The food was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and soothing. I had the Mongolian beef and it was very tasty. My husband has the General Tso chicken and it was also delicious. Service was great and prompt. We arrived around 1:15 and did not feel rushed to eat quickly for the 2pm closing time. Great experience and will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Tried to order online but their website wasn't working. Called to order, told they don't take orders over phone, only online orders. I explained online orders not working but he just repeated they don't take phone orders. Informed him that's fine I'll take my business elsewhere. Requiring a customer to come in person to place an order in this day and age is ridiculous. They have a cocky attitude. First with their prices, then with their inability to allow a customer to order over the phone when website is down. My money is going elsewhere since they obviously don't need it.
