My new favorite hotel in all of ASIA. Once again I would like to reach out personally and thank you for the experience and memories during my short stay. There are no words to describe the professionalism of your team/staff. Starting with the bell boys, upstairs to the team members in the lobby, and last but not least my personal in house Butler program. Every interaction is important, even if it's a simple hello. It matters. Today we live in a world where we rather take the time to complain than share positive experience. I hope this email is taken to the highest level in St. Regis to share with every level of management. A few people I would like to mention:
Rachel Chung:
An individual that has so much love, hope and PRIDE when talking about the St. Regis brand. I had the pleasure to interact with this young up and coming future manager. She possess many ingredients ahead of her time for a better tomorrow (her future), and this is her not even knowing. The words and action she choose during my walk through in my room wasn't something she was taught nor trained. It came from her heart because of her dedication, devotion for this business. I hope her contributions and work won't be over looked. Keep up the good work.
Jimmy:
If I remember correctly his name tag stated Jimmy, apologies if it's incorrect. It was approximately 3am when he came up to my room 2107 for a request of a Zip Block bag to Seall tight my cigars. There was no Zipblock available so he immediately started thinking outside the box to find any solution to store my cigars properly. He knew there was a type of bag to store food with a machine to suck out the air. I asked if he could leave a little amount of air so it doesn't crush/damage the cigars. He came back to my room in less than 7-8 minutes and walaaaaah! Thank you for your fast response and action. Thank you again.
Allan, Lobby, Valet, and other team members:
Because of the current political and protest situation in HK, the team worked together in figuring out my best routes and option for transportation. I notice their communication was absolutely above par. Even going the extra mile in printing out a map, with highlighted routes and ferry schedule as well. Thank you for getting me to my destination safe and sound.
Luis:
This gentlemen was in Bali at the time of my check-in and stay. He was online and updated me with the best information of protest scheduling for 2 straight days (48 hours). He gave me details of the safest option to navigate through HK for my business meetings and was my mobile tour guide. Thank you Sir for your efforts and advices.
Daphne:
Although our encounter was short, thank you for being genuine and thoughtful. I've visited over 47 countries, stayed at many types of Hotels across the globe. Your sincere concerns and inquiries to my stay was a meeting I wish most people experienced. You see, when anyone ask you how was your stay or even to how's your day, usually it's a protocol, and front most put up. With Daphne, I could tell that she loves her job and is will to listen to any feed back. There really is no feed beside thank you from the bottom of my heart,.
The St. Regis HK team members represented the highest level of communication and customers service I have ever experienced. That is a FACT. Best of all, what made it a FACT is everyone was helping with their HEART, not because it's their job. That is what makes coming into work and finding solutions easier. Thank you everyone, hopefully our paths will cross again.
