I’ll start by saying this spot has only been open for a few weeks and there is plenty opportunity for improvements. First, the food was hit or miss. Mozzarella sticks are Mac and Cheese were tasty- no complaints there. But the fish and chips felt like a kid sized meal. Definitely not an entree to fill you up. And the side salad was literally a small bowl of bagged iceberg lettuce with carrots. Aside from that there isn’t much of a veggie option.
Secondly, our server wasn’t very attentive. He literally walked past our table several times without checking on us and wasn’t very confident about the menu items. Note to management: we would have ordered more wine had he asked. If you want people to spend money, train your servers better to make sure the patrons have a full glass at all times.
Lastly, the ambience is very dark for a sports bar. It felt like a dark, cold basement especially in the back area.
But the good part is that all of these issues can be addressed and like any new spot, they are going to experience a few growing pains. So hopefully some honest feedback will help turn things around. I would try again in a few months to see if there have been any improvements. There are too many other places to go and when you dine out you want to get your money’s worth - food and experience.
