The Biergarten at The Standard - Review - Chelsea - New York - The Infatuation

"You probably don’t want to come to the beer garden at the Standard High Line at night, when it’s packed with people who are holding off on going to Le Bain or The Gansevoort Rooftop until there’s a line they can skip. But during the day, this is a fun spot to hang out with a big group. The massive space has communal picnic tables, where you can drink steins of beer and eat giant pretzels. There’s also a room in the back with foosball and ping-pong." - Matt Tervooren

Went during happy hour on a sunny Monday. It was full (not packed), no lines to get tickets — used to buy other items — and beer The food, a bunch of sorted sausages, potato salad and a pretzel, were all delicious! That is, except for the chicken sausage, which didn’t really taste like much (lack of salt and of seasoning), though that’s nothing a bit of mustard can’t fix A great place to have a conversation! Though, if it’s pretty hot, as it was the case, you may feel a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps get extra beers?

I had a great time at The Standard Biergarten! The atmosphere is lively and fun — perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual meal with drinks. I ordered the Cheddar Kurtwurst and the Currywurst, both of which were excellent. The Cheddar Kurtwurst was juicy and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of melted cheddar inside. The Currywurst had a nice kick to it — spicy, savory, and full of that classic curry flavor. Both came with potato salad on the side, which was creamy and balanced the meats well. Service was fast even though it was busy, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you’re a fan of German-style sausages and a fun beer garden vibe, I’d definitely recommend stopping by

Went on the first hot day of spring and it was absolutely jam packed. We somehow managed to get a table for the 6 of us. The beers were great. I especially loved the Kolsch, Pale Ale and the lager. The vibes were immaculate. Also really enjoyed the waffle fried and the pretzel.

Google
Covered seating available with heaters. Biergarten style seating with communal tables. Buy tickets at the entrance to pay for food and beer, a ticket is $12 and the bratwurst and pretzel were each 1 ticket and the stein of beer was 2 tickets. Food was good and came quickly! Fyi it doesn't come with a bun or bread though so probably want to get a second thing to share if you're hungry.

Wild venue here. Buy tickets and drink beer or order from the bar. Lots of corporate parties here as per my pictures.

More fun than good. My wife loves German food and loves biergartens. This is like the Disney of biergartens. Look, the standard is a great restaurant and this is clearly the fun section of a restaurant that takes itself quite seriously. There are ping pong tables. People dressed in the German women's soccer team. There's a weird system of buying tickets to get beer and food but you can also got to the bar to buy stuff without tickets. The food is not great but I don't think that's such a big deal. This is clearly about people who like beer and the friends they drag along. And the occasional person wanting to wear lederhosen. I had chicken wurst, which was not the worst but leaning in that direction. I also had the curry wurst, which seemed like the chicken wurst with curry sauce. And mustard. You know, if you're serving sausage with copious curry sauce and grain mustard on the side, you're probably not a gastropub. Just saying. Okay, there should be a whole section about the restrooms here. They are odd. The men's and women's restrooms are poorly marked sides divided by a large common area. The central area has sinks with missing knobs and my wife complained about no locks on the stalls. But it was fun.

We attended the New York City Wine and Food Festival brunch with Geoffrey and Margaret Zakarian at the Standard in October. It was so nice. Great venue with all the amenities. Not too crowded. Excellent atmosphere. The mimosas and margaritas were perfectly mixed. We sampled many different bites, all of which were good. Quick walk to the High Line which is right there. Very enjoyable afternoon.

Google
The Standard Biergarten is a great place to hang out with a friend or a big group. The atmosphere is always lively and they have big tvs playing sports matches. The beer selection is great and reasonably priced. There are a decent number of food options, including soft pretzels and mac & cheese bites. The food isnt amazing, but it's passable. The staff are not the friendliest and could be more welcoming. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday after work. It was very hot but the coverage, fans did help. To buy food or beer, you have to buy tickets at a stand near the entrance. 1 ticket is $12 and that can get you 1 main food items or 2 sides. It could also get you a 16oz beer or 2 tickets can get you a 32oz beer. It can get a little confusing and you have to decide ahead of time and the ticket lady seems to have to explain this to every person on line so it can move a little slower than it should, especially when she's the only person you can buy from. They eventually did have someone walking around to sell tickets. Some pictures on here show the standard bratwurst with a small pretzel, that is misleading because it doesn't come with it. The bratwurst was good though and the mustard is even better. I was eating everything with that mustard! Cocktails/mixed drinks are at a separate bar and that you can pay there. They have a ping pong table outside and lots of picnic benches for you to sit at, first come first serve. If you sit at tables at the ends of the ping pong table, know that the ping pong ball may end up hitting you a few times and help them out if you can by grabbing the balls and throwing it back!

Yelp
It had been way too long since my last visit to The Biergarten at The Standard, High Line...In fact, it had been 13 years according to my last Yelp review - eek! Well, I made it back to the fun, outdoor venue for a recent birthday get together. It was rather quiet when I arrived at 12:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon, but, when I left at 3:30 pm, it was completely packed, with a line of people waiting to enter. The crowd was definitely young and trendy, but much more relaxed than at other Meatpacking hotspots. The birthday boy had reserved two long tables to accommodate his small crowd. I was not drinking that day (aside from my Diet Coke, which was very syrupy), but I noticed that they had a decent selection of cocktails and beers. I did, however, dig into the Biergarten Platter that was ordered for my table. The small spread included two pork, two chicken, and two cheddar sausages, as well as two chicken bites, two mac & cheese bites, AND a giant Bavarian pretzel. The chicken sausage and crispy, fried white-meat chicken bites were both great. However, I sadly found the pretzel dense and dry. In fact, I am not a huge fan of traditional biergarten food items and would have ordered something else, had there been any other options available; I just wished there had been more of a varied menu. I would not say that The Biergarten at The Standard, High Line was the most authentic one of its kind or that it had the most food and beverage offerings, but it was still a positive place to spend the day with a large group.

Yelp
Very cute ambiance and it seemed like it was outside because it was very spacious and beer-hall like but it was actually enclosed and they kept it nice and warm when it was below freezing outside. Great liquor selection and a pretty good mulled wine. I loved that they had a shot ski. Employees were all cool. Food was solid. It was a little empty for a Saturday which made it slightly less fun for me, but maybe I just went on a quiet weekend. Overall, cool spot.

Yelp
Oh, the Biergarten... It is always buzzing with a fun crowd. The system to buy your tickets before is a smart way to get money in the door. I wanted one ticket for a main dish and another for a side but was nervous if I didn't use one. The guy selling the tickets told me the tickets didn't expire. When I heard this, I thought that thats comforting and secure for the owner but a bit concerning for me. I like to get my money's worth and thought how easy it would be not to use the ticket again and waste money. First, I ordered the large pretzel. This thing was huge but way too salty. I literally could only eat a fourth of it. One of the bartenders, DeShawn, even helped me take the extra salt off my pretzel. True customer service and a good sense of humor. I didn't use my second ticket for a side that evening but returned the next day with my ticket to test the no expiration theory. I am happy to say that it worked because I ordered a side of fries and used my ticket from the night before and had no issues. Once again, the fries were salty but good enough to eat, unlike the pretzel.

Yelp
Ambiance is fun and sophisticated with a grade school vibe. Lol the waitresses use megaphones to announce order names when food is ready we thought we were at Girl Scout camp or on a school trip with that, the oblong wooden tables, and ping pong tables. Ping pong smack dead in the center seemed like a bad idea initially but quickly became a bright one when we felt the community vibes it brought. Ppl sort of felt smilier and more talkative to random people if the ball landed in their space. I really liked it and ppl were open to playing anyone generally. The fries stole the show though bcus I love to eat and don't go out to drink. Skinny fries are the best and these nailed it. Plus they're affordable for the area. Go, enjoy!

Yelp
Fun spot to have a beer, play some ping pong, and try German food. Although there are many tables in the outdoor area, they fill up quickly. You have a purchase tickets for beer and food ($12 per ticket). Grab those first, or find out the hard way after waiting in line. Bathrooms are inside, down the stairs and to the left. Pay attention to the floor medallions to figure out which is men's versus woman's.

Yelp
Ticket system - one ticket gets you a beer or food item. It's a little disorganized, but once you're in, you kind of let it go and have a good time. There are two well sized TVs on each corner. Two table tennis tables and one foozeball table to keep you and your date or group of friends entertained. A good selection of beers at one bar and spirits at the other. As for the food, there's a selection of traditional German food-hall fare such as bratwurst, pretzels, potatoes, salat and more. The food is just okay, and does take a while to come out.

Yelp
The entrance to the Biergarten is around the corner from the hotel front entrance. I came here for a work event. We likely had around 100 people. We reserved several tables. They set up buckets of beers for us on the tables as well as sausages, fried mac and cheese, and other bites. Oddly, they open all the beers in the buckets, including popping the cans. This seems a bit unsanitary because anything could fall into the open containers while they are sitting around. The beers can also go flat. It's also wasteful because anything that is not consumed during the event has to be thrown out. I'm not sure if they do this to deter folks from taking the cans to go, but it seems a bit unnecessary. A waitress was taking orders for cocktails and other drinks. I had a dry white wine. It was refreshing on a humid day and I enjoyed it. You could also order drinks from the bar. All the tables had backless bench seating. It's a good place for groups.

Yelp
I do want to preface that I was here for a work-sponsored event, where we rented the front area/several tables worth of space in the Biergarten. This mean that we got open access to the food, buffet style, on a table, and went up to the bar and just had to show our bracelet for another drink. (I say this because I saw some reviews mentioning headaches with tickets and the like...) All staff here was friendly, (perhaps except for the guy ushering us out as soon as our time was up, despite people still holding their beer steins... but I get it- our time was up). The food here was quite good. We had access to different sausages (which had pork option and vegan option), the pretzels, and picked cabbage. Wow the pretzels were yum! I am by means a beer connoisseur, and I am satisfied with a simple cider or wine so I can't speak on the drinks, but I was happy with the food and drinks. The benches are not that comfortable, and strangely acts like a seesaw if there's one person on each end (as we found out when people were trickling in at the start of the event). If I were in the area I'd happily come back here to enjoy some happy hour drinks!

Yelp
Great beer garden in meatpacking district. It can get crowded but depends on what time of day or night you go. You buy your drink/food tickets right when you walk in. They have great German beer options and food. They also have ping pong if you want to play.
google avatar

Yelp
I wish so badly I took pictures when I was here (next time!!) because this place deserves photography! The service here is impeccable. Everyone is extremely friendly and caring. They are attentive at the bar and don't leave you hanging. I came to two events here now and each one was remarkable! The heated space is amazing. Can't wait to be here when the weather allows for the place to be fully open. I had their fries (tiny shoestring - my fav!!) And the German style potato salad - DELICIOUS!! The server knew exactly what a vegan can eat with many options being thrown out.
google avatar

Tim B.

Yelp
Interesting place. Ticket system is a bit odd. If they want to go cashless there are other ways to do that. Not loving an additional long line... Beer was ok. Nothing to get crazy for and nothing to spit out in disgust. Just regular old beer. Hefeweizen, pale ale and lager for us. Food was good as well. Mustard was oddly very good. We had the platter and the wurst and pretzel were the best part. Service was good all around. I would return for ambiance on a nice enough day.
google avatar

Yelp
Really fun beer garden! I came here for a birthday party on a Saturday night. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded. It was lively but plenty of space. It is technically outdoors but there are heat lamps. To buy beer, you buy tickets and then use those tickets to get any kind of beer you want. There is also food and other types of drinks. There are 2 ping-pong tables, foosball and connect 4. Lots of things to entertain yourself with. I would come here again.

Yelp
Beautiful German beer garden with simple food and nice beers. It's an open space, so beautiful for summer and spring months.
google avatar

Anisha A.

Yelp
Cute beer garden, reminded me of Boston. Would recommend, beers were 12 though. People were mainly sitting except our group people were standing. Expensive but cute. Ordered a bunch of food too, nothing crazy, wouldn't recommend Mac and cheese bites but drinks were good and atmosphere was fun!
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
beer garden with plenty of seating, ping pong tables, and Foosball! love this place, a little pricey but great vibes and saves me the headache of large group planning. you buy a ticket for food or beer at the front, $12 each.
google avatar

Yelp
Casual place to hang out with friends, get a beer and enjoy the food. They have foosball and pingpong table and it was very fun. Sausage and pretzel are delicious. You have to try the fried Mac and cheese
google avatar

Yelp
I wouldn't consider the Biergarten at The Standard to be a destination, it's more like a spot in a series of destinations or a place for everyone to meet up before heading out. It's a good place, the pours are heavy, the food is snack-y, and everything is German-themed. Is it a must-see when you're in NYC? No, but it's a solid spot to grab a beer if you need to waste time before you wander the High Line, browse the Whitney, or grab dinner at one of the many Chelsea restaurants. They've got a decent German beer selection, so don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. And, because of liquor licenses (maybe) you have to buy tickets to trade in for beers. A little annoying when they're crowded and you have limited people selling tickets
google avatar

Joseph T.

Yelp
Fairly large beer garden located steps from the high line and the Hudson Greenway. I had a pour of Oban 14 which was reasonably priced at $20. Lots of beers and a decent selection of good but widely accessible whiskeys. Service was per quick. Handful of big TVs around the beer garden making it a great place to catch a big game. They have foosball and ping pong.
google avatar

Lucas W.

Yelp
We stopped in to watch the women's euros finals the other month and loved the environment. Nice shaded area under the highline, big space, good breeze despite us sitting in the back corner for the TV and glad they had two bars. They had basically a beer of every lager style and long tables akin to a german beer hall. Beers were great There were two things though that were odd - there were menus on the various pillars supporting the high line but those menus were different from the menus sitting at the bars. Would've ordered something different based on the other menus. Also annoying that you buy beers by buying drink tokens at the entrance. Seems inefficient and just an extra step.

Yelp
Came here for the first time for a quick happy hour stop and it's a pretty cool spot with ping pong tables and quite a bit of outdoor seating. They ran out of the dry rose cider we wanted to try but the unfiltered option was a great pick too. The pretzel is worth trying too! They were so nice to generously offer one on the house. We wanted to order originally but was worried the kitchen wasn't going to make it in time before we needed to leave... but lucky us since the kitchen made an extra that was going to go to waste, they offered it to us. It was nice and warm and paired really well in whatever red sauce it came with. It's huge and definitely shareable.

Yelp
We stopped by the Beer Garden to pass time before dinner at The Grill, then again after dinner while waiting for our bumper car times. The vibe was upbeat with a nice mix of couples, pairs of friends and some families. On a Wednesday evening it was not crowded, and we were able to play ping pong. The dirty martini was fair, with mediocre olives, and the chocolate/ espresso martini was great. The pretzel was huge, served with mustard and another tasty dipping sauce. (They also have a small menu with various German sausages and a few sides.) Bartenders were friendly, and a table cleaner was efficiently clearing glasses and dishes when customers left the tables.

Yelp
It was almost three years i have been to Biergarten and I felt a bit reminiscent about going back. While I already had lunch, I wanted to have a sip of beer and cheddar wurst on my way around the city. Then it got all soured as the sausage does not come out even after 40min with no estimation when it will be ready. The server said it's coming but apparently they did not have any system to track any orders. I ended up walking out without my food, with no refund policy. Never again for me. I just hope it was not racially driven.

Yelp
Really fun low key place in the heart of meatpacking! Area is outdoor/ indoor but there is heating. Food is excellent and so are drinks plus the price is decent . They also have ping pong and while it does get crowded, no reservations are needed ! it's basically first come first serve, and the service is great too ! highly recommend!

Yelp
Great spot to grab a beer (or 3) with some friends. Their beer cheese that comes with the pretzel is also sublime. Ambiance is fun as it feels like a little garden escape (it's under the highline) from the hustle and bustle of rest meat packing / Chelsea area. I've also been here for HH (great food and drink specials) and they recently started doing a stein holding competition on Wednesdays... Which is a lot of fun! I actually ended up winning the time I went (~3 min, 25 sec) and the staff was super friendly and fun! Although a little pricey, but that is expected being a part of The Standard. For beers they do a ticketing system (buy tickets upfront and then redeem for beers). Would def go back again - especially for HH (and to remain champ of the stein holding contest).
google avatar

Sam M.

Yelp
This is a solid spot for drinks and games. I've been here a few times and it is your standard biergarten. You don't really go for the food or the drinks but the environment is fun and playful. I came with a group of 10 after a bottom less brunch and we really had fun playing ping pong, eating pretzels and just chilling and talking. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
We walked in and the security guard grabbed me and tried giving me a stair down to intimidate me for literary no reason. We had a reservation. He tried kicking us out.. for nothing! I told him to get out of my face and get his managers. Manager came and he still stood there trying to be hard and to intimidate me and my wife by popping his eyeballs out of his head. Manager tried to descaled the situation but we were just uncomfortable for absolute no reason.. like we came to have some food and watch the game. We won't be coming back here ever. Bad vibes.

Yelp
This is a super cute place that my friend took me too and would be perfect for a lowkey date spot. They have both an indoor and outdoor section but it was nice out and we opted to sit outdoors. They have a pretty decent selection of beers and wines to choose from. There are a few cocktail items on the menu as well and some bar bites. However, this review is solely for the service which was SLOW. Upon being seated -- we waited about 30 mins for someone to come over to us and take our order. Not to mention that there were about 3-5 servers outside that looked at us a couple of times and still proceeded to not come over. When we finally did get someone, it took them at least another 30 to bring us our drinks. I'll likely return here for the summer but i'd def know what to expect the next time around.

Yelp
Visited The Standard Biergarten for the first time today and it was a good time! You buy your ticket(s) and that's what you use to purchase your beer! One ticket is $11 dollars and that's good for a 16 oz. 32 oz are two tickets so $22 dollars. You get your beer and then have a seat anywhere! A waiter will come and get your food order (if you want food). We ordered the bratwurst - which comes with two bratwursts, pretzel bun, and potato salad. The bratwursts were delicious! Packed with good flavor. The potato salad was good too. However, the pretzel bun was amazing. We've never had a pretzel bun before and it blew our minds. It was a pretzel, but in the form of a bun LOL. The vibe was lax. It was under the high line in an open space. 4/5 Yelp stars. We'll be back!

Joseph H.

Yelp
I used to love going here with my partner. The Standard Biergarten is in a great location and it's outside but completely covered -- this was a huge perk during spikes in COVID cases. We were able to bring our baby (who grew into a toddler) without any issue. Prices aren't particularly great and it can take a really long time to flag down a waiter if you want to order anything other than a beer, but there aren't many biergarten options in Manhattan so sometimes you just have to deal. Also, it can get very loud, and there's usually at least one table of too-drunk bros shouting and breaking steins. Worth it for a giant pretzel and beer cheese? I don't know. The last time I tried to go to the Standard Biergarten for a friend's birthday, I wasn't allowed in with my daughter. They gave us some excuse about not letting children in on weekends, despite us having brought her with us many times before and always on weekends. When we tried asking about their change in policy, they made us feel stupid. My partner was emotional, my daughter was struggling to get out of her stroller after the commute, and I was getting angry at missing a friend's birthday, so we decided to cut our losses and just leave rather than arguing with management. On their website, the Standard Biergarten claims, "Perfect for groups so bring your entire crew!" They don't mean it.

Yelp
Good beers, good vibe, the boot glasses are a nice touch. Makes for a great pitstop when in the area.

Yelp
Ian Luca was one of the most composed managers I've ever dealt with while enjoying the city for a week. His hospitality and his accommodating nature to see that our newlywed friends lost a table that they reserved was so appreciated. It was a little upsetting at first, but when we talked to Ian, our whole group felt comfort and heard. Give this man a raise.

Yelp
I came with a group of 8 on a pretty busy Saturday and had a pleasant experience. The whole vibe is pretty cool and luckily we were able to find seating after another group left their table. Definitely try to get there on the early side to avoid having to stand around. The real highlight was the pretzel with the mustard (I didn't do the beer cheese) dip - SO GOOD!

Yelp
Had a hangout at this place with my coworkers recently! We came here as we wanted a place in NYC. They have few selection of beers/cocktails you can choose from. The food they offer here is bar type food... not traditional restaurant food. If you come here thinking that it will count for dinner, I recommend you to eat dinner somewhere else and come here to grab drink with snacks. Otherwise, you will find yourself paying more than you can imagine . Otherwise, the snacks taste just fine, not really impressive in my opinion. This is a good place to hang out though!

Yelp
After brunch at Catch NYC on Saturday, our group of 10 walked up the block to this beer garden to continue the celebrations for our friend's 25th birthday. It was around 2:30pm, and there was already a bouncer out front. He turned away someone from our group who was only a few months short of turning 21. That would've been fair IF THERE WEREN'T AT LEAST 5 KIDS RUNNING AROUND THE FREAKIN PLACE!! So 6 year olds are allowed to be in the beer garden, but not a 20 year old - that was kind of a slap in the face... That's when our group split, some of us stayed while others left. I was bitter but I bought a $10 ticket, which was later exchanged for a (huge) beer. Birthday girl exchanged one of her tickets for a giant pretzel (also $10) to share which was overly salty. Meh. The ping pong tables that are usually in the middle of the place were replaced with a mechanical bull pen. Free pitcher of beer if you could stay on for at least 30 seconds. Although it wasn't exactly rowdy yet, there was no place to sit so about 7 of us just stood at the back, next to the old(!) game room - apparently the game room is closed indefinitely so that was yet another disappointment. I mean, this place is aesthetically pleasing, with authentic german beerhall vibes. I just never have great experiences here.

Amy S.

Yelp
I previously wrote a review that has since disappeared and my experience was terrible enough to warrant a re-do. The service here is awful. The security/door person was rude at best and absolutely hateful at worst. There's no reason to put up with rude treatment for a mediocre beer and sausage. You're better off grabbing an actual meal and drink at the many other wonderful spots in the neighborhood with courteous staff. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that has an option to go anywhere else. They cash in on location because it can't be the food or service. My guess is there isn't a ton of repeat business and it's likely tourists dropping in for the novelty of a Biergarten under the High Line. No thanks!

Food: 4/5 Really like the sausages here, but they are a little expensive for the portion size. I almost need two to feel full, and they about 2/3 the size of the bun. That being said, they do taste great. Drink: 5/5 The steins here are awesome. Really miss the Spaten, but everything they have right now is still great. Atmosphere: 5/5 Probably the most enjoyable place to grab a beer in Meatpacking. Service: 5/5

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and the vibes. But the prices? Not so much. It was decently crowded on a friday night and the service was fast. The food is okay, the beer is good. Tbh it's nothing special though.

Yelp
The Biergarten stopped serving buns with the sausages... so sad, please bring the buns back :(

Yelp
We met up with a group of 25 people. This place is perfect for large groups. The food and drink were great. Atmosphere was lively, and fun, for sure a place to eat, drink, and let loose. If you have a ton of friends, and you need to plan a night out in Manhattan Meatpacking district, this for sure is a good spot to pick.

Yelp
*3.5 stars* came with a big group Saturday night. Great vibes// atmosphere. We were hanging out by the bar but there were lots of tables available to sit without having to order food which was nice. Had huge TV screens and ping pong tables. Looks like a great place to hang out. Main complaint is probably the price of my drink. I have gotten a vodka soda and I believe it was almost $18. I'm very familiar with Manhattan prices, but have never paid that much for a vodka soda, even in more popular and touristy places so was a little taken back honestly. I'm not sure what were the prices of other drinks, however. The bartender was very nice and attentive despite the huge group of people he had to serve. Clean bathrooms downstairs. Again looks like it would be a great place to hangout after work if living in the area I imagine if it wasn't for the drink prices. Though maybe beer is reasonably priced? I just don't drink it lol

Yelp
This place is a classic New York spot. It's always busy and a fun time but usually isn't a big ordeal to get through the door. Usually a great mix of people (which in New York means there are at least a few people not in finance). Getting in is pretty easy, ordering drinks seems to take a while but that's why you order the 360 oz pint so you only need to order drinks once, maybe twice the entire afternoon

Yelp
Great location for food and spirits. Located just below the High Line and Whitney Museum which are must see spots in NYC. The beer is cold in regular 20 oz ($10) or Jumbo Stein ($20). Everything in Biergarten is bought with tickets which are $10 each. The place is dog friendly and has a couple of ping pong tables along with several TVs for sports. There are 2 bar tops along with picnic style tables and a few high tops w/chairs. There are adjoining restaurants with a larger food selection. Nice spot to relax and chill.

Yelp
Came here once for drinks and food instead of going to a place for just drinks because we were starving. It was crowded, but we still found a table outside. Turns out they don't serve food outside, so before you come for some German eats and drinks make sure you're coming at a time that won't be too crowded to get a table inside. The drinks were good, but I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew I couldn't get food too.

Yelp
Not to be confused with the Barebottom At The Standard Height Line, which is a pretty normal nude ass that isn't overly perky or too saggy. Awesome beer garden filled with people drinking beer. I mean you probably figured that out already but anyway. Not how I would spend a Saturday night but still a pretty cool addition onto the excellent New York City late night club District. I'm glad everything is in the same district cuz it really helps hit all the proverbial spots.

Yelp
What kind of weird carnival type of bar is this? You buy tickets at a booth to get beer or food. Each ticket is $9 and the larger liter will run you 2 tickets. Any cocktails can be paid for by cash or credit on the other bar. Was pretty crowded when we went but we luckily got 3 tables for our group. There's also a game room in the back with big connect four, shuffle boards, and ping pong tables. The game area was pretty empty when we went, if it's usually like this it could be a nice area to just sit and talk.
