Great atmosphere, staff, and food. I went for breakfast and had the best breakfast skillet I ever had. Flavorful with fresh ingredients. The Avocado Toast was delicious as well. And don't forget the flight of Mimosas! They were very refreshing. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone to at least give it a try and be amazed.

My sister and I had breakfast on the last day of our trip to Virginia Beach 15th of August , arriving bright and early at 7 AM. The woman who welcomed us and served our food was incredibly sweet and kind. The freshness of the food was delightful, especially the biscuits, which were delicious with the side of jam. The scrambled eggs were so fresh, and both my sister and I loved our orders. We're already looking forward to coming back!

I’m pleasantly surprised how good the new menu is! We ordered Baja breakfast skillet and carnitas in a toast. A whole lot of flavors for each entree. This is our favorite spot and typically order the carnitas. They modified it a little bit which I love. This place is a gem! Definitely worth coming multiple times!

This place is outstanding for brunch. Been a couple times while in town and everything has been really delicious. We were in a hurry today and the staff were very accommodating and even mindful of our time. The avocado toast was perfectly smothered in a limey/lemony salty sweet dressing. The eggs Benedict had an awesome twist on the classic sauce with country ham and a perfectly poached egg.

The food here is absolutely amazing, my family and I loved it so much that we ate here every single day during our vacation in Virginia Beach. Every visit was a treat, while each of us quickly found our personal favorites, every dish we tried was consistently delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always goes above and beyond to ensure an excellent dining experience. On top of that, the restaurant offers a wide range of allergy-friendly options, which was a lifesaver for me as someone with a gluten allergy. Highly recommended!

We visited after my daughter's cheer competition at Convention Center. The place is nice, small and cozy food was really good. I wasn't expecting the menu. I had the Turkey breakfast the first time I ever saw that on a Restaurant, my daughter and nephew got a Tres lecehes French toast it was just like having tres leches cake pretty tasty. I had a mimosa and some coffee too.

Fresh and tasty flavors. Cozy dining. Friendly staff and accommodating chef. Lamb was nicely spiced and falafel was light, tender and crispy. Great quality.

The service was equally impressive—our server had an approachable, easygoing demeanor that made the experience even more enjoyable. Add to that the quick service and fantastic food, and Stock Pot has easily earned a spot on my list of favorite places to dine. Amazing Food & Even Better Vibes! Stockpot VB never disappoints, but this visit was extra special thanks to Kat, Holly, and especially Sky! Holly was super helpful in recommending the Anne's chicken noodle soup and salad combo! P comfort food. Kat gave great insight on how the salmon could be cooked, which made the meal even better. And then there was Sky... her stellar ad-libs during one of the songs on the playlist? Iconic. She took the whole vibe to another level! You can tell the team here genuinely enjoys what they do, and it makes for an unforgettable experience. Great food, great service, and great energy... can't wait to come back!

Tucked just off 19th Street near the Oceanfront, The Stockpot is one of those spots that manages to feel like a hidden gem even in a busy area. One of the best surprises? They actually have a private parking lot, which is almost unheard of that close to the beach - definitely a win if you've ever tried to parallel park at the Oceanfront in the summer. I went with a friend and we split the Trio Dip Platter to start, super fresh and colorful. It came with a solid scoop of chicken salad, creamy green pea hummus, crunchy cucumber and celeste veggies, warm pita slices, and a small side of tzatziki. It was light but satisfying, and a great sharable option if you want to sample a few things without getting weighed down. For my main, I ordered the Chifrito Salad Bowl, and honestly, I was not ready for how huge and hearty it was. The bowl was practically overflowing, packed with flavor, and the pork carnitas were seriously next level: tender, juicy, and falling apart in the best way. It was one of those rare salads that doesn't feel like a compromise. My friend went for Anne's Chicken Noodle Soup, which had a bit of a twist with soba noodles. She couldn't stop talking about how good the broth was, super savory and comforting without being too heavy. Overall, The Stockpot feels like a place that genuinely cares about fresh ingredients and thoughtful prep. Whether you're a local or just spending a beach weekend, it's absolutely worth a stop.

Great spot! I've been here twice and have had good experiences. More recently, I got the avo toast-- this was delicious and I would order it again (they were super generous with the avocado which I appreciated. The balsamic-like taste also made it tasty). The brookie I ordered was quite dry and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. When the waitress said they had hot chai, I was expecting a latte not a cup of tea, but I guess that was on me. Last time, I got the chicken noodle soup which was super flavorful and unique. The staff is very friendly. The vibe of the restaurant is cool too-- very warm and relaxing. I thought the pricing was pretty fair too. Recommend to anyone in the area!

Ehhhh, it was ok, I was hoping it would be blow your socks off type of food. The kiddos got the peanut butter and homemade jelly (3 out of 10), kids chicken noodle soup (3.5 out of 10), and we got the gyro with the lamb patty. This is where it got annoying, we asked to do an add on of falafel which would have been an extra 3.25 but instead they charged us for the gyro falafel and added the lamb patty for an extra 8.25. That was an extra 5.00 that they didn't tell us until I left the restaurant and looked at my receipt. We spent 70 dollars on 2 main entrees and 2 kids meal. I understand inflation but I don't understand straight cheating for 5.00.

This is probably my 10th visit in the past year alone. I absolutely love this place. Especially on a day with perfect weather, you can sit outside on the covered patio and enjoy mimosas! Mimosas 5/5: I've lost track of all the flavors I've tried. But my favorite is the lavender! OG fried rice 6/5: I can't help but get the same dish every time. It's just too good. The rice is so good and crispy! Rosemary biscuits 5/5: I first tried this with their soup of the day. In the fall they have butternut squash soups. They'll had a small cut of their biscuit to the order. You can order the biscuits alone, they're sooooo good and made fresh. They also have drink happy hours each day of the week' not sure what times since I never make it. Breakfast specials from 7-10am, includes coffee and sandwich for only $7! They also have food specials such as ramen or paella. I just follow along on social media to find out the special. Limited but free parking. Otherwise street parking but very walkable and close. If you're at the convention center it's only a short walk over.

After a truly disappointing culinary journey through Virginia Beach, the Stockpot was a nice ending. I got the corn beef hash and cypress salad. I recommend skipping the basic bagged salad. The hash was pretty good. They did not skimp on the meat; I took some home after I got tired of chewing. I thought the dish could have used more kale.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach for years. The food is amazing and the customer service is great. I always enjoy getting brunch at this place.

I visited the Stockpot twice in one day! I was in the area for a conference and stopped in before for breakfast. My avocado toast was very hefty and hearty. The bacon was divine. I came back with the group I was with for lunch. I had the Cypress sandwich and soup. Very much so recommend the mushroom miso soup and my country ham sandwich was very good. Everyone in my group also enjoyed their meals. We got there before noon and were seated quickly. As we were leaving, around 12:30 it was quite busy and there was a wait. However we never felt rushed and were welcomed the entire time. Both times the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

These folks knock it out of the ballpark every single time. What an amazing place to enjoy a meal. Surrounded by happy house plants and nice decor and wonderful culinary scents, this place was the best find in Virginia Beach ever...! Since I'm not local, I feel drawn to my all time favorite breakfast, the Turkish breakfast (pictured) AMAZING array of flavors and choices. I always add the lamb patty and falafel. It's hard to finish, but I give it my damnedest...! They also have exotic juices, like the pictured blood orange juice available. The servers are very personable and take great care of all patrons! Enjoy this amazing restaurant experience!

Wow. The OG Fried rice was amazing. The speedy hot sauce was good with it too. My wife got the egggs scrambled and wished she had gotten mine. Hers was fine but mine was filled with flavor. Everyone was nice and glad we stopped in. They support local which is nice and have a few beers on tap and mimosas. Would definitely go back.

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! The OH Fried rice is SOOOOOO complex! The ramen was excellent as well!! Service was fast, friendly & very informative. We sat outside & it was nice!!

The food is simply outstanding! Very small space but sitting at the bar is perfect. Dan and staff make everyone feel at home. It's a great place to eat within walking distance to the convention center and other venues.

Great option for brunch! I stopped in for a solo brunch on Father's Day. They were having a special steak and eggs entree for the holiday so I went ahead and got that. Amazing service from the moment I stepped in the door. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I got the pineapple ginger quencher as a drink and it was delicious and refreshing. The rosemary biscuit was to die for! Great flavor and that homemade feel. The jam and butter were the perfect addition. The main entree was also delicious. The steak and potatoes were well-seasoned and the eggs were just as I requested. Can't wait until my next visit!

Really enjoyed our breakfast here. Ambiance is cozy, staff is super welcoming and attentive, food is the perfect mix of comfort favorites and unique creations. I loved the pumpkin yogurt granola parfait and also really enjoyed the warm bone broth. I was surprisingly not as impressed by their fried rice, which seems to be one of the most popular items. I would definitely come back for the parfait, which I didn't expect to love as much. Overall, great spot!

Great service and loved the two dishes I got! The OG fried rice was delicious and the biscuit sandwich with house made sausage was very good. The menu has a great mix of breakfast/brunch and lunch goodies that is served all day. I look forward to coming here again next time I'm in VA Beach!

This is ridiculous to charge $7.47 for a thumbnail piece of cake. If I had known the waitress was going to do this to me, I would've never purchased it. Update: After returning home, about a mile up the road, and sampling the cake, I was even more displeased to discover it was dried out and flavorless.

Perfect day for soup! Wet, and dreary outside! I was in the mood for some soup and The Stockpot did not disappoint!! I ordered the soup de jour it was their take on chicken and dumplings instead of dumplings it's their delicious biscuits! The soup had great flavor lots of chicken and vegetables (peas, carrots, celery, and onion) the usual! I definitely recommend!! I should of ordered the larger portion! I also ordered the carrot ginger soup for later. It sounded interesting, and I overheard that the new menu will be coming out soon and that soup will no longer be on it so I had to give it a try. Excited to see the new menu!

I started coming to the sock pot when I was still living in South Carolina. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect little breakfast place for me. They even have organic coffee. It is my favorite breakfast place in Virginia Beach. Now that I am living here. Highly recommended.

We loved the Stockpot! Such a cute spot with delightful decor and elevated cuisine. I ordered a special, the seafood pot pie with crab, shrimp, and scallops topped with cheddar biscuits. It was amazing. My friend really enjoyed the Southender as well! My only pieces of constructive criticism would be the price of coffee/tea and to have cream and sugar on the table instead of having to ask or have it added in the back. Hope to return!

UPDATE: ramen night cannot be missed! I tried the seasonal one and it was so delicious! It had sweet potatoes, broccoli, and carnitas. Sooooo tasty.

I got some food to deliver as a part of a bereavement gift for a friend; they were very appreciative of course but they made a point to express how GREAT the food was! I should've gotten some for myself but what i CAN speak to is excellent customer service and very pleased friends on the other end of special delivery. I'll be back to try them myself soon!!

I really loved this place. It is a cozy, attractive small diner with outside seating. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and able to find a seat. The staff were very friendly. The AV toast was so fresh and filling. The rosemary biscuits were amazing with and without the homemade jam. The place is about block away from the VB sport center. A perfect stop for breakfast or lunch.

This place was great! Sat at the bar, right across from the chef. My mind was made up after I saw him sending out dish after amazing dish of beautifully presented, healthy options. I had the tuna tacos. He recommended a great beer as well. Will come back again and again.

I came here for breakfast and lunch several times while I was in Virginia Beach. For breakfast, I dined in and ordered the scrambled egg. It was tasty and the portion was just right -- not too small and not too filling. For lunch, I ordered the OG fried rice for takeout. It does take a while for them to cook everything so call ahead if you do not want to wait long. The smell of the fried rice was amazing. The rice they use was almost a crispy brown rice which added so much more depth and flavor to the whole dish. The chicken wasn't fry and marinated just right. All the ingredients were super fresh. I definitely recommend trying the OG fried rice. Note: they charge a credit card fee so if you pay cash, it's a bit cheaper.

You already know this place is great- friendly staff, bar seating that lets you watch chef cook your food, food coming out look delicious and large serving size. We ordered:carnitas toast, Turkish breakfast, lamb kofta. Turkish breakfast has salad with cucumbers, pickled onions and several dried apricots, heaping large scoop of hummus, two sunny side eggs, lots of pita wedges... The carnitas toast was served piled high with cubed (not minced) perfectly seasoned pork and a sunny side egg. Lamb kofta came with 3 large meatballs on bed of pita and side salad. Everything was super delicious!

Every time we have come to The Stockpot we have been greeted immediately and seated in our choice of seating. They have inside and outside seating. We really like inside. It is a little pricey but for the quality of food and drink is good. The flights of different drinks are fun. I cannot resist a flight of anything. We have also gotten the specialty lemonades. YUM. Last time we were there they offered a flight of coffee. I will be getting that next time, for sure. OOO and they come up with special drinks and flights for seasonal. So make sure you check out every season. Let's talk about the food. The menu changes. I always like looking at the special board. The smoked salmon toast is A-M-A-ZING!!! Lots of flavor and very fresh toppings. Soups are always great. Not only delicious but the presentations is so pretty. We have also had bowls. Everything is always seasoned nicely. I have really enjoyed the flavors of everything we have had this past couple of years. Service here is my favorite. Very Friendly. We have had many different servers and all have been great. Sometimes we have questions and they take time to answer and they always look like they enjoy working at The Stockpot. Oh and I like the live plants inside and that big beautiful mirror. The VB location is smaller than the Norfolk location but I still love the VB location. I'm all about friendly wonderful service.h

Great little spot with fresh food and desserts. Our server was amazingly helpful. I loved the Turkish breakfast as I like to have a little bit of everything. My dad wanted a basic sandwich and was told which items fit what he was looking for. Bohemian ambiance. My only complaint was that we were asked to share a high top table by the window while the manager was doing interviews. We really couldn't have a private conversation nor they.

We had to wait for a table of 7 for an about 3i min, but oh my goodness, it was absolutely worth it!!!!! we seriously want to come back tomorrow! Every one of us got something outstanding on the menu, we started off with the biscuit basket with two different home spreads, and they were to die for!!!We loved the BB's Benedict, the Chifrijo bowl, the chicken salad with toast, and the chicken noodle soup. Everything was truly phenomenal. Most of all our server, LYDIA, was wonderful, actually sat down and went through the menu with us and told us her favorite things and how every single thing is homemade. She was so kind and attentive, and we loved her to pieces!!! One of the best servers we have ever had!

I highly recommend!! We waited for about 20-30 min on a Saturday during brunch, and it wasn't bad! We sat at the bar near the kitchen area, and we loved it! Our server was great and friendly, but the girl cooking on the griddle area was the best! We loved her and loved talking with her a bit (she was super busy, but still set a good tone). The mimosa flight legitimately had me a little messed up for a minute there- it was SO good (picture included). The food was literally the best I've ever had in my life- I had the carnita with eggs toast with added avocado (MUST DO!), but I had scrambled with cheese eggs instead of the sunny side up. I cannot wait to go again!

I hate to ruin availability for myself at The Stockpot but it's just too good to not share with everyone. Everything is amazing! The food, the ambiance, the staff (GM, Chef, Sous chef(s), wait staff, etc. all are fantastic! They run specialty dinners occasionally and they too are unbelievable. Get in there and enjoy!

One of my favorite local vb spots! I mainly go here on Ramen Mondays, but you really can't go wrong with anything here. Their desserts are also spectacular! The service is always great and the vibe of the restaurant is beautiful & warm. Check it out!

We visited for a Father's Day brunch around 1030am and were seated immediately. I was surprised there wasn't more of a wait. Unfortunately we did wait 15 minutes before anyway even came to the table to bring us water or see how we were doing. Once the waitress came we ordered everything. Our drinks came first, the lavender lemonade didn't taste as lavendery or lemonadey as I thought it would, it wasn't bad but I wouldn't get again. My husband's manmosa with pineapple mango was very good! The iced coffee flight came with some fun, unique flavors, but did taste a little watered down as a previous review mentioned. The Og fried rice was delicious! However my breakfast fell a little short - the sweet potato hash just wasn't what I was familiar with a 'hash' being and left me feeling unsatisfied with my meal. They run dinner specials on different nights - we're likely to return to try their ramen night, but would probably opt out of breakfast

Clean foods, cozy eating inside, or delightful outside under the gazebo--you can't go wrong with breakfast or lunch at Stockpot. (I haven't had dinner there,) We love this little place. The service is always on point, and the food is not only delicious and fresh but also healthy. Bonus~Their coffee is excellent as well as their desserts!

A decent place, but for the price there are better options. Very small inside. Minimal vegan options, but they do have a few.

If I were a local, I would definitely frequent The Stockpot. The food is fresh and delicious, with lots of intriguing flavor combinations, and there really is something for everyone in your party. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There is outdoor seating that is well spaced and comfortable. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we were all sharing samples of each dish because everything was, "Oh my gosh you have to try this" good. The highlight for me was the peaches and halloumi salad, which was incredible--local, ripe peaches and grilled halloumi cheese with sweet and chewy house-grilled tomatoes and walnuts on greens dressed in a perfectly-seasoned basil and balsamic vinaigrette. The autumnal pumpkin tortilla soup was lovely and very unusually flavored. The seasoning was just perfect. The variety of soups alone would be a reason to return, and they are constantly changing up. I seriously could see myself frequenting this establishment just to sample all the soups on offer. The biscuits are tasty and fresh. The egg and chicken salads were perfectly seasoned. There are a selection of smoothies available. There are great selections for kids. This is a great brunch spot too. It appears that the menu changes pretty regularly, as the dishes are seasonal and based on the fresh, and often local, ingredients.

I came here yesterday while down here for work. It was a lucky night to go because they had trivia. The food was amazing, I cannot stress that enough. I got the huevos rancheros and then I got a piece of the French toast as a dessert. The atmosphere was great the people in there were so nice too. I went in solo bc I'm up here for work by myself and it was just a very inviting place. Could have been because it was trivia but either way if I'm back here again I'd go here again for sure.

Flipping AWESOME!! Great for Celiac and other allergies! Food, drinks ambiance...they have it all. AND kick ass DIY skate park across the street. Great parking, close to water. Even better locals!!

The rosemary biscuits with butter and blueberry mint jam are a must have. Also try the margarita flight. Our favorite was the pineapple ginger. As an entree had the burrito ranchero. They kindly turned it into a bowl for m carb conscious wife. Would have liked a bit more cojita cheese and pickled onions, as they are so delicious. Definitely recommend!

The atmosphere was very inviting and all the food preparation and service activities were right out in the open. It felt like being at a friend's house where you weren't allowed to help prep the meal. We were in town for a wedding and decided to stop in for breakfast after viewing the menu. My wife and I had the egg scramble with a scoop of avocado and it was amazing. You simply must try the rosemary biscuits--they are sensational, plain, with butter or strawberry compote (I was expecting something overly sweet but it wasn't, and the fresh strawberries were just perfect). The staff were very helpful and friendly, always providing exceptional service. My 13 year old had the layered strawberry french toast and it was so good. My 11 year old really enjoyed his burrito and proclaimed, "the next time we come to Virginia, we have to come here!" and I concur.

This my favorite breakfast/ brunch place I visited while in VA Beach. Service was great, the food was great, and the weather was amazing to sit outside . We were promptly sat and food was on table very quickly . Everyone worked together and it made service really nice . If in VA beach and looking for a chill brunch spot before the beach the Stockpot is it.

Went for ramen night and it was just ok. The bowl had lots of stuff just very little flavor . I can't even remember what I had .

Been wanting to try this place so stopped in before going to the RV show at the convention center. Food, drinks and service were outstanding. A neat little place I recommend trying.
