A modest Old Webster spot that wins fans for friendly service and a mix of traditional and specialty rolls. Covered by Feast Magazine and listed by Explore St. Louis, it’s a convenient, low‑key option for families and casual nights out.

Overall grat place to hang out with some friends or meet people. Easy to order and talk to with others. There is a good variety of options to choice from as well as appetizers. Taste freshly made and quality fish/ vegetables. The only problem is parking there is not a lot spaces unless you walk half a block but this still doesn't really take away the rate of this place.

Google
Sushi Station is absolutely amazing! The ingredients are always fresh, the sushi and sashimi are perfectly prepared, and the rolls are flavorful with beautiful presentation. The menu offers a great variety, and every dish I’ve tried has been delicious. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and always greet you with a smile. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Highly recommend for all sushi lovers! 🍣💖

Google
Sushi Station has become our “go-to” restaurant. I’ve tried multiple things on the menu and nothing has disappointed. Sushi is fantastic. The best gyoza and miso soup I’ve ever had! The service is always fast, cozy vibe and very clean. Will always recommend to anyone🍤🍜🍣

Google
Delicious food, we went with two stellar appetizers, two rolls and a kids orange chicken meal. There wasn’t one miss with any dish we ordered. The service was incredible and the interior was very cozy and inviting. They were very accommodating to our child. My only critique is I believe the menu is too large, it was extremely difficult to choose, which is a good and bad thing. Overall a 5 star experience.

Google
This is a hidden gem! Excellent rolls with a very large variety to offer. We had appetizers, and many different types of rolls, each one was served beautifully and was delicious. The menu includes delicious items for those non-sushi lovers. It was my first visit and I cannot wait to come back.

I used to come here a lot with one of my friends in college, but haven’t been back often since she moved away. We really liked the cozy/ fun vibe and the appetizers here. My favorites are the Japanese chicken wings and calamari. I always ordered them when dining here, and they never failed me. At this visit, I also ordered Crazy salmon, Old Webster, Holly Crab rolls and yellowtail sashimi. I am not a big fan of sashimi/sushi rolls here. IMO they are decent. I just have a higher expectation when it comes to sushi/sashimi. Service has been fantastic. Orders came out quickly. They have good menu with kid menu (which is a huge plus)

Google
Fantastic cozy restaurant. Easily a favorite sushi place in the STL area. Ordered multiple rolls and everything was fresh and inventive. Lots of imaginative roll combinations. Favorites were the Firecracker Roll and the Umami Leaves appetizer. Situated in the middle of Old Webster, a great place to eat and take a stroll. Looking forward to going again to try more.

Google
The sushi was good, but a little on the pricey side. We can find sushi that is just as good at other places for cheaper.

Yelp
Can't believe this spot has less than 4 stars overall...it's definitely a 4.5, not a 3.9! Sat at the sushi bar with a work peer for lunch. Fast, courteous service and found a seat easily. Enjoyed the edamame as an app, ordered 4 rolls. Spicy tuna, salmon, yellow tail and the presentation was solid. Great size orders, extremely fresh (important when considering sushi in MO!) and tasty!! To top it off, the prices are outstanding!! Really hard to beat!! Give this place a shot for lunch...well worth it!!

Yelp
Deceptive practices regarding gratuity. Automatic gratuity without disclosure. Good food sadly.
google avatar

Yelp
The sushi rolls were very good and the service was pretty good very nice. The place was very busy and loud inside I would like to go back when we could sit out on the patio.

Yelp
Sushi Station is one of my favorite sushi spots in the STL area. Every time I have been here I can taste how fresh the fish is. Even the more "simple" rolls are still satisfying and worth trying out. Some of my favorite appetizers include the karage and the spicy edamame with chili oil included in it. The appetizer menu itself is expansive with plenty of unique options. Every roll I have tried has been delicious - would recommend pairing a simple roll with one of the more special rolls. On this recent visit, I had the Crunchy Spicy Salmon Roll and the St. Louis Roll. I also appreciate that the menu features plenty of cooked rolls and various Japanese noodle / rice dishes, making this a perfect spot to take someone that is intimidated by raw fish. Sushi station has a lovely outside patio seating as well and is perfect for when the weather is nice. I'm looking forward to heading back soon and trying out some more rolls.

Yelp
Food Ambiance Service Good overall place to enjoy sushi. The popcorn chicken appetizer was off the charts!! Crab Rangoon was scrumptious as well. Hot Sake was delish. My salmon sushi roll was ok. One of those "had worst, had better" rolls. The place is very nice and upscale looking, and the customer service was great, and always on point.

Yelp
Sushi Station is the absolute best. The workers are friendly and the food is DELICIOUS. My favorites are the sexy girl roll and sunrise roll, but literally everything is good. They have tables both inside and out as well as seating at the bar. Show up a bit early if you go at a busy time, but otherwise you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Terrible atmosphere and experience from the ownership. They're alienating customers who choose to consume LEGAL cannabis before entering this establishment. If you're a fan of green don't spend yours here!

Yelp
I ordered takeout and got Rangoon & a fried Philly and it was incredible!! 10/10 recommend :)

Yelp
Sushi Station is always busy but there's a reason! The sushi is always fresh and they have a lot of variety in their roll options. It can feel a little cramped inside, but nothing beats sitting outside on their patio on a Friday night.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has made me reconsider all 4&5 star reviews i've given to sushi places before, because Sushi Station really deserves that 5/5!! The specialty rolls are divine but so are the standard rolls! Their gyoza may be my favorite in the city right now. I love their outdoor seating and the staff is incredibly kind (and don't laugh when I order the same thing almost every time) They have street seating as well as an adorable back patio. This is currently the only sushi spot I'll recommend!
google avatar

Shannon G.

Yelp
This is absolutely my favorite sushi spot in town. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rolls are delicious and there is a broad menu. Also, I cannot rave enough about the side salad. It is such a great addition to the meal along with the gyoza. I was pleasantly surprised during my last visit that order hot tea results in a full pot of green tea delivered to your table--amazing! It is truly a hidden gem.

Yelp
I love Sushi Station! When I am in Webster Groves I like to go here and the nursery right across from here. The food is fresh and they don't go overboard on the sauces. You can still taste the fish.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem! It's in the cutest area of Webster Groves. They have plenty of seating options both inside and outside. The food was delicious and prepared quickly! We had a combination of both speciality rolls and regular rolls and they were both wonderful! The service was perfection! They kept our drinks full and our tables cleared. The restaurant is very well cared for and clean. I can't say enough about how good this place was!

Yelp
We love Sushi Station. I really like the salad. There is always fresh fruit and the ginger dressing is delicious. We always get our food quickly and the servers are friendly. It is a small restaurant and a bit cozy, but there is also patio seating.
google avatar

Tina S.

Yelp
Excellent place. Friendly staff. I got to sit outside and it was lovely. The menu is only available on line. Plenty of sushi rolls to choose from. Delicious presentation. I got lucky when I stumbled onto this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Automatic gratuity on takeout. Placed a take out order and they added 15% tip automatically to my order without telling me. I've been a server before, I didn't throw a fit but that's not acceptable considering no one served me.
google avatar

AJ D.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite sushi spot in the area! The service is always nice and fast though I will say that the majority of the time we order pick up/to go since it's a relatively smaller establishment with a few tables. I just don't have the most patience lol I REALLY wish they would cater so I could have them at my potential wedding! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious and the service was quick! Their patio was super cozy and intimate!

Yelp
Stopped in here on a Friday night with a group of friends. It's a cute little spot located in Old Webster. It's a small restaurant so the seating can feel a little tight. Menu had lots of options, food was good, service was good, everything was great. We all had a fun time. It was a five star experience. However, our first experience isn't the reason for my 3 star review. My girlfriend and I came back the following Tuesday night because she loved the food that much. It was a nice change up from where we typically go to in Chesterfield and we love sushi and eat it often. Unfortunately, our second experience wasn't as pleasant as our first. I can say with 100% confidence that my girlfriend got FOOD POISONING from this establishment. From the time we left Sushi Station to the time we went to bed, she was complaining about feeling sick. We had chalked it up to eating too much but we soon found out that wasn't the case. She woke up in the middle of the night and displayed all the symptoms of food poisoning. I could paint a picture for you but I think you get the idea. Later that morning, we called them just be like... hey, just so you know we had some bad sushi last night. We didn't ask for a refund, nothing. We genuinely just wanted to give them a heads up so no one else experienced what she had experienced earlier that morning. The entire reason why I am writing this review is because of how the Manager treated the situation. It was textbook on how NOT to handle this type of situation. Zero apology, deflecting and invalidating what had happened. Explained to us that in the 10 years that they have been open they have never had someone get food poisoning (lol sure). Basically every political answer she could have given, she gave us. The complete downplaying of the incident is total BS. We weren't looking for a handout we just wanted to look out for you and other customers. Don't worry though, after the conversation we have decided to take our money elsewhere. Maybe putting a spotlight on our experience will provoke you to finally take some accountability for what had happened. TREAD CAREFULLY!!!!

Yelp
If you are looking for good sushi in Webster Grove, Sushi Station is a must try! They have an extensive sushi list with regular rolls and special rolls. In addition, they have some Japanese classics like Yakisoba and Katsu. We tried the Hamachi Carpaccio and Miso soup for starters. The Hamachi was fresh and it tasted delicious. The miso soup for pretty good too. We ordered the Firecraker roll, Crazy Salmon roll, Sexy girl roll and Eel avocado roll. All the rolls were very good. Our favorite was the Firecracker roll. We also had the Yellowtail and Big Eye Tuna nigiri. The service was prompt and the place was very clean. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. There is street parking or a parking lot nearby for convenient parking.

Yelp
I really thought I had posted a review, but December was busy so maybe not. After careful review of the menu, I will try to recall what we ordered. Regardless if I get this right or not, we really enjoyed all the rolls we tried. The Kobe (definitely right) was a surprise hit. We tried to because it was different. I believe the other rolls we tried were The Trio, The St Louis, and Spicy Salmon. So so good! The service was great. It's a busy place, so arrive early. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
I was running errands in Webster Groves and got a craving for sushi. My phone told me Sushi Station was the closest. So, I thought I'd stop in to get an order to go. Ordered a Tempura Shrimp roll and miso soup. There is a parking garage directly behind the restaurant. Restaurant was nice and staff were friendly. However, I didn't realize until later they added a 15% tip to my bill and I tipped on top of that. Ate my meal as soon as I got home and my sushi roll was soggy and the soup was overly salty. Not impressed at all.

Yelp
Came in for dinner with couple friends. There was a bar right when you walked in. We got seated right away. But we sit in the back and it was pretty quiet. I ordered the Pork Katsu Kare. It came out pretty fast and the portion was huge. I wish there was more vegetables... however, the curry was really good. I'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Such a good find great food and atmosphere would go again maybe when the patio is open

Yelp
We were in the area and happy to have had a chance to try Sushi Station! It was a busy evening, we arrived around 830pm. There were a lot of employees, so it was kind of overwhelming at first being helped by all the staff, didn't know who was our waitress. One waitress took my drink order but never came back. I appreciate the teamwork, but I think it led to an item being missed. The food came out quick, and I was not disappointed! We got several rolls of sushi, chirashi and tempura udon with vegetables. I do not think anythjng I ordered was uniquely special, however I liked the quality and ratio of fish to rice. I would def come again if in the area.

Yelp
I recently saw that you have a post up about not serving people who smell like marijuana and believe that smelling like cigarettes should not be allowed either. Both are legal and both smell gross and I don't like the smell of people who just smoked cigarettes.
google avatar

Nourhan H.

Yelp
This is my first time here. Place has chill vibe, family friend oriented. No need to do reservation, itnis first come first serve. There are two rooms first one can fit around 30 ppl not including the bar. Food: plenty of fried food option and some vegetarian options. Start with Miso soup flavor was little bit heavier with an aftertaste Spring rolls: crunchy and not greasy, but felt like it lacked a flavor Crab rangoon: this one was good, had right amount of cheese Umami leaves: was super good, light full of flavor Takiyaki: this one is bit for me. Was deep fried, supposed to have octopus but did not taste the octopus. Did not taste like anything for me. My best part other than umami leaves was sushi rolls. They were good rich in flavors still light. I enjoyed it. Overall it was a good experience. I would go back for the sushi, umami leaves and to try other plates.

Yelp
My all time favorite sushi spot here in St. Louis!! Super quick service and great sushi selection. The best sushi you can get in the Lou
google avatar

Irene N.

Yelp
Sushi Station does not fail me! Seating is limited, so I would go as soon as you can! The service is always friendly and nice. The food is always prepared with love and attention. I can't remember the names of the roll to save my life, but also the calamari as an appetizer is great!
google avatar

Tina N.

Yelp
The food was average. Came here for dinner and grabbed a table for one. After eating my server applied a 15% tipped for herself onto the bill. I went on to ask her about it she told me she couldn't take it off.
google avatar

Leigh S.

Yelp
We have loved this place for years and order takeout from here a couple times a month... until recently when we realized they have started tacking on a 15% fee onto takeout orders (not delivery) that is undisclosed on their website or on the phone when you call. The prices are high enough without a massive mystery fee added at the end. It is super gross feeling and probably should legally be disclosed at the very least. We will order takeout elsewhere in the future. So sad.
google avatar

Calie H.

Yelp
I am a snob when it comes to sushi. I was super hype about this place being 6 minutes away from my sister's new home. Sadly, I left this place unhappy. Both service & food were a letdown. There were maybe 1 or 2 tables inside the establishment. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the weather. Our appetizers came out quickly. Not sure what was taken for our sushi longer. We finally asked why the holdup on sushi, they then brought it out to us immediately. Not sure what happened, but one of severs became kinda rude to us for no apparent reason. And we were shocked when we saw 15% tips added to our bill for a party of 2. We are 20% tippers, if not more, but never less. Food was alright. Rice was super dried. Sashimi didn't taste as fresh comparing to other places. I will not be returning to this place.
google avatar

Jaime S.

Yelp
I guess the new closing hours are 9:30pm. I really wanted something good and healthy tonight, walked up at 9:37 and the door was locked with 4 or 5 employees cleaning inside. It's just disappointing.

Yelp
My friend and I were having a girls lunch and were in the mood for some sushi. We wanted to try a spot that we haven't been to before so we went to go check out Sushi Station. As soon as we walked in, we were politely greeted and immediately seated. We started off with drinks and the Rancho La Gloria Strawberry Margarita was really good. I loved the gyozas that we had and my entrée of the Kara-age chicken and the Fried California roll were everything! Like my stomach is smiling just thinking about it. lol My friend had the Fried Philly and the Crunchy Spicy Tuna roll and she really loved her meal as well. Between the amazing food and the great hospitality, I would definitely come back to Sushi Station again.
google avatar

Dejah M.

Yelp
Honestly, I take all my friends here to get sushi. One of the best sushi places in STL. They have a ton to choose from and there's things for people if they aren't into sushi. Rolls are a nice size and I can't wait to come back for more. The service was quick and they checked on me constantly. Wasn't too loud either. If it was a nice day out and wasn't too windy, I would've eaten outside for lunch.

Yelp
We came in for dinner on a weekend and were sat right away. The outdoor patio is super cute! Service was great overall. Fun vibes for a dinner with friends. - Sashimi appetizer - 10 pieces (4.5/5): surprisingly fresh! Salmon was so yummy, almost melted in your mouth. Yellowtail was great as well. Tuna was okay. - Crunchy spicy salmon roll (4/5): the crunch added a nice texture. Good flavors overall - St Louis roll (3.5/5): also really good, good amount of sauce and not drowning in it which was great. - Crazy salmon roll (4/5): this was my favorite roll with the different salmon varieties. Bigger portion than the others, but this was more pricey as well

Yelp
The amount of time I have eaten tofu i could count from one hand. My friend recommended we try the Agedashi Tofu, and I was in for a nice surprise. The dashi based sauce really was the saving grace of the tofu, it gave it a taste which I really liked. We also had the katsu chicken, the chicken was well seasoned and crispy! The fried rice was tasty as well. I really liked the spider roll, I expected more roll for the price honestly. That's my only disappointment. I have to say, their staff are really attentive! They were always available and prompt with removing dishes as we ate, so it allowed us to have more space. They were also friendly and our food arrived in a timely manner, can't beat that.
google avatar

Yelp
Sushi Station is hands down one of my fav sushi spots in STL!! They have SO many different types of sushi rolls and every single one I have had has been so yummy. You absolutely have to get their volcano roll that is lit on fire right in front of you. As far as appetizers, their crab Rangoon is to DIE for. Our server was so pleasant and the food was brought out extremely fast! The back patio is now open as well and would be a super cute date spot!
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Tasty sushi and service. One of my daughters go-to spots, she brought us here today for lunch. They weren't busy at all..of course it was around 2:30. They have a great back patio, as well as a small amount of indoor seating. We each ordered a roll, as well as pork gyoza. The pieces were much smaller than some I've had, but they were all yummy. And the gyoza was just fab. The location is good, everything was very clean and the service was friendly and efficient.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
Just okay. Limited sashimi options and rolls are not traditional. Service was good but actual sushi options better elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Great sushi stop in old town WG. Very fresh and flavorful. Good selection of rolls and sashimi. Also a good beer selection. Can't wait to come back with the kids.

Yelp
Another good round of Sushi Station for the books! I tried the shrimp roll that wasn't my favorite but the crab Rangoon and salmon smoothed that over. They're giving out less and less rice it seems, (pictured) idk what that's about. Still my fav sushi spot until yelp finds me another. ;)

Sekaia D.

Yelp
My girl friend and I went here for the first time last night and was extremely discriminated against by the staff of Asian decent. We were there a while quietly enjoying our food. We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 sushi rolls, Sake and a bowl. So clearly we have no issue paying our tab. We asked our waitress to clarify an item and she didn't. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. Whenever we got the item it was wrong. We did not like the item at all but the waitress said there was a no return policy. We asked if we could exchange it and she yelled at us. I then asked to speak to a manager and she tried to hand me a random cell phone. I asked her if I could speak to one in person. She then walked away and called. I walked outside, my girlfriend was still sitting at our spots at the bar and when I come back in the owner is literally screaming at my girlfriend calling her an "it" and telling her she will call the policy on her. The waitress lied to the owner, telling her we said we were not going to pay our bill even though we waited in the restaurant for over 15 minutes after we finished eating for the owner/manager. The owner called the police, after calling us both derogatory racial and homophobic slurs and then tried to calm down and act innocent once the police arrived. Horrible staff and horribly ran establishment. I would also like to add the bathrooms are disgusting with dead cockroaches everywhere. The rice was bland and our appetizers were heavily burned. Also the Sake was expired, fish was chewy and it took forever to get our food. The owner also refused to bring me and itemized receipt and charged us over $100 and I was not able to see our full bill. Mid food, horrible customer service. And before the owner responds, no I am not interested in wasting my time looking at CCTV footage. That time it takes to make a snarky response to a bad review should be used to show your employees proper customer service. Do no waste your money here and please take head to the real reviews.

Yelp
The dishes are consistently excellent, service is always perfect with very nice welcoming servers, and it is just the right neighborhood sushi vibe!

Brady L.

Yelp
New favorite sushi spot! Great service!! They were on top of it. Very, very good wasabi. Delicious drinks... great ambiance :) will be coming here more often. You have to check it out!
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Love coming here to sit on the patio when the weather is nice. The inside fills up quickly so come early if you want to get seated right away. The sushi rolls are always very nice and they have a lot of options to choose from
google avatar

Kara S.

Yelp
Still amazing!! Had a fantastic lunch today, stuff that sushi dreams are made of, ALSO hubby ordered fresh Wasabi, GAME CHANGER. First place in STL that we've been to that had it...omg. Loved this place as much, if not more than the last time. Not sure why they average 4 stars, I've been all over for sushi and this is what quality and taste should be...
google avatar

Alina S.

Yelp
This place is pretty good! It's a cute cozy little spot. I really liked the atmosphere and they even had some spots outdoor to sit. Make sure you park appropriately and not in a reserved spot in the garage because you can get a ticket (I got fined $10...) Food was good! I got the Crab Rangoons, a must for me! I also got two sushi rolls, one was the veggie roll and the other was a shrimp tempura roll. The service was fast, the environment was clean and the food was good!
