Great experience for high tea in a casual setting. Super cute place. Chandeliers, teacups and saucers for decor, friendly welcome. The triangular sandwiches were delicious, especially the salmon and also the olivade. But they were all made with fresh soft sandwich bread, and quality ingredients. The scones were hot not dry but soft. The creme was perfect consistency, the jam was subtle, not too sweet. The top of the three tiers had a wide variety of tiny bites of dessert and fruit including cherries, we were so full we took all the dessert home and leftover sandwiches. There's a patio that's got a sweet garden vibe but you definitely know you are in a tea shop. The friendly sisters who run the place were sweet...and even pour your first cup of tea. I recommend the oolong golden if you like a subtle tea, or if you stronger tart flavor, try the hibiscus melba...it's a red tea. Plenty of free public parking across the street....we were there on a Sunday and there was a farmers market on Honolulu Blvd....we had to go around and past it in order to reach The T Room, not hard, easy. Best tea experience ever, better than those fancy hotel high teas. Highly recommend even when it's not Mothers Day. Oh by the way, CASH Only.

I brought my sisters, mom, and nana to the T room today and we had such a wonderful time! The place is beautifully decorated with tons of character, pricing is great, and everything is made in house! We’re talking ALL the AMAZING food (wonderful cakes/cookies/sandwiches/scones), and their custom tea blends that you can purchase for home as well! My Nana couldn’t stop talking about how much she enjoyed herself and how good everything was. We will surely be back!

Cute tea room, good food. But need to fix their AC. Room was crowded and we were very hot

A quaint tea house located in Montrose, CA. I have enjoyed going to The T Room for more than a decade. The sandwiches are tasty, the scones are amazing, the desserts are made in-house, and they have a wide variety of teas. The decor is a classic tea room decor. The T Room has a cozy patio, which is ideal for small gatherings. I've only experienced excellent service with a warm smile from Margo and a big hug before we leave. I suggest you make a reservation and they only accept cash. There is metered street parking available. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. 🫖

Google
A delightful tea experience. We were seated in the covered patio. As typical of most tea rooms, our food was presented on 3 tier platters all at once. Because we were there during the week of Christmas, the price per person was higher, but the menu had more items. We ended up taking the desserts home! We were offered two pots of tea from the menu of teas. I would say the only disappointment were the scones.

Google
My mom and I love to have tea, so I took her to the T Room today. Reservations are recommended--but even though we didn't have one and the proprietor was working on a catering order, she still warmly accommodated us. The tea was delicious--Mom had chamomile and I had lavender. The sandwiches and pastries were delicious and fresh. The atmosphere and decor are rosy and beautiful, and everything is clean. We both took some tea home with us--Mom stuck with the one she had been drinking, but I asked which tea would be the best for sleep, and now, hours later, I'm enjoying a very tasty pomegranate herbal loose-leaf tea. We had a lovely experience!

My niece and I have been to at least 5 different tea places. This is definitely our favorite! The food (especially the clotted cream), the ambiance, the price and the service are by far the best. Love this place and the sweet ladies that run it.

This is the best tea room on the planet! Margo the chef instantly makes you feel at home, and she takes amazing care of you. The china is beautiful, the out door seating is beautiful, everything is just BEAUTIFUL. I did not want to leave!!! I will be back soon. Thank you for an amazing experience <3 10/10 recommend !!!!

Yelp
This was the best high tea experience I've encountered so far. (And I've tried several other places before, including in London.) For starters, the warm welcome from the host/owner set the tone. As did the fine china, clean linen, and fancy place settings. We each had the opportunity to choose our tea that came in an entire teapot all to ourselves. The children's menu offers fresh hot chocolate what was rich and delicious. When we received our four tiers of deliciousness, we each had a chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad tea sandwiches. My kiddo got P&B as an option and he loved all the mini tea sandwiches. Next tier, the homemade biscuits with hand-whipped clotted cream. Our host told us she wakes up at 4AM every morning to bake these from scratch. And you can definitely taste the hard work and buttery amazingness in each bite. Of course, the dessert tier was one of our all-time favorites with a decadent carrot cake and milk & honey cake that was phenomenal. To top it all off, we indulged in organic, fresh seasonal fruits, which were strawberries, sweet grapes, and juicy oranges. There was not rush and we took our time grazing and sipping her finely selected teas. One note: If you want to take a seat in this dining room, don't just pop-in or expect to get a reservation because you think it's a good time to go or bug her on the phone about your questions. This is a one-lady owned operation and everything is done elegantly. Also, her most busiest times is when she's making and serving her guests. So if you know what it's like to host parties, never bug the host when everyone's demanding her attention. Make a call and set up reservations earlier in the morning closer to 9:45AM or after the lunch rush times so she can politely take your reservation. After that, she's quite busy attending to those who matter--her guests at the tables. I look forward to coming back here and I'm happy to spread the word on our dining experience. Because as LA becomes a ghost town filled with once-open restaurant doors, I feel obligated to help the small businesses. I believe The T Room has been open for 25+ years, and I hope we can keep its doors open for many more years to come.

Yelp
Went there for my cousins birthday. It was quite fun seeing some family I hadn't seen in over 50 years. The ambiance was nice and the meal and sweets were very good. I have never been a tea person but I must admit the tea they were serving was quite delicious and they kept it coming To be sure it was a little crowded but I truly enjoyed it.

Yelp
Came over here again a couple weeks ago and Margo never disappoints. I called in and prayed that they had some room last minute and luckily they did. I was very happy since you usually need to call in advance to eat over here. The food here is always delicious and is always made with the lots of love. The tea is also very good, I usually order the Mango Decaf Tea which is yummy. For the Queen's Tea, on the most bottom plate: Lingonberry chicken, tarragon egg salad, English cucumber and Norwegian salmon finger sandwiches Middle Plate for Queen's Tea: 2 Freshly baked scones with homemade Russian cream and strawberry preserves Top Plate for Queen's Tea: Assorted petite desserts and cookies surrounding fresh seasonal fruit. The scones here are to DIE for, I am not joking. I have been to other Tea Room Places and these are incomparable. These are the best scones in my opinion especially with you put the cream and the jam. The sandwiches are also so yummy as well as the freshly made desserts. I will never stop raving about this place. It is a must try! Make sure to call in advance and bring cash!!

Yelp
The owners of this tea room are so nice and accommodating. The sandwiches included were chicken salad, egg salad, cucumber and salmon. They were all pretty tasty and light. The stars of the meal were definitely the scones. They were served with clotted cream and jam, and were served warm. Sooo good! Will come again

Yelp
A wonderful option for three generations to enjoy tea together. I really appreciated how kid-friendly the atmosphere, food, and drinks were while still being a real treat for the adults.

Yelp
Planned a baby shower and reserved the patio. I had been here one time before and had a good time. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend planning an event here. I should've known that service was going to be difficult because they demanded cash payment and a cash deposit before coming. They also didn't offer me any flexibility for timing the event. It was weird. I just decided to ignore my gut and go forward because I had a good experience prior. The other difficulty was that no one told us that there is a farmers market going on every Sunday. So when I got there, I didn't realize we would not be able to find parking easily and we were about five, maybe seven minutes late. This would normally not be a problem, we are in LA, usually restaurants understand and give a grace period. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt rushed. I hadn't even sat down, within a minute, and one of the waitresses was demanding me for my tea order. I haven't even looked at a menu, haven't even finished saying hi to everyone. I quickly ordered a couple teas for myself of teas, just to get her off my back. But she didn't explain to me that those were teas being offered to the entire party. That made me very upset. I tried to ask if she could switch it, but she didn't let me. Also, what do you do afternoon tea for- have quality time with people you love, relax and take pictures! For some reason NO one on staff would take our picture. I had to ask about five times before someone would help us. It just seemed as though they were in a rush to finish giving us the trays of food and tea and they were done. To be fair, the patio is adorable and the food was good and looked so cute on the little trays. But the service really ruined it for me. I'm sad to have had such an upsetting time. I wouldn't recommend the T Room for an event.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday late morning with one of my best friend. Reservation was easy to make, my friend called in advance to book it for us. Also, be sure to bring cash as this establishment is cash only. We got the set that is $32 per person. Parking was easy to find. There was metered parking or 3 hour parking lot that had plenty of parking. We were 10 minutes late to our reservation but the hostess Ophelia was able to take us. She was so sweet & provided my party with a complimentary dessert since it was my friend's birthday. This spot is definitely a good place to host a bridal shower, baby shower and/or birthday parties. I ordered the oolong Jasmine tea & my friend got the birthday fruit tea. Both were delicious & not strong at all. Our server also gave us complimentary refill of a different tea later on towards the end of the experience. The ambiance was so quaint! Literally felt I was transported back in time to the late 1800's era, having high tea with Queen Elizabeth. I would definitely recommend dressing up for a high tea attire to set the mood. Food was great! The British scones, sandwiches & dessert platter were delicious. My only complaint was that there were some pieces of berries that looked like it was turning spoiled. I would definitely be back with my girlfriends or sisters!

Yelp
I love making tea. I drove one and a half hours to this charming tea house. The food was very delicious. The service was most gracious. We felt welcomed! The ambiance is elegant. I would love to invite our servicer to my house for tea! I wonder if they would like my cooking. Because it took me forever to find a restaurant that is so inviting and delicious! I will gladly drive 1.5 hours for tea here.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a co workers baby shower and this place did not disappoint. Cute little tea room and marvelous Margot helped us the entire team. I've done tea rooms before but never for the little sandwiches haha mainly for the regular food (if they have any) but this place didn't so sandwiches were the meal. They were ok, I wasn't wowed but don't know if any place can wow with simple sandwiches. The tea was so good! Especially the jasmine and coconut vanilla I think it was. I'm a coconut girly so naturally I really loved that one. Parking right out front and all around. Probably for the best you make a reservation before coming here, it's pretty small. Would definitely recommend for a cute little celebration with friends or family.

Yelp
We love this place here in our community. Everything is so well presented. The ambiance is perfect for a lovely high tea bunch. I've been here several times with friends, but this time I brought all three grandchildren. What a pleasure it was today. They loved it and because they were so well behaved, Margot brought them each a small gift. Margot is a true hostess. She makes sure we enjoyed ourselves and provides just the right amount of attention we need. I highly recommend The T-House. It is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It's the absolute perfect place for a small or large group to enjoy high tea. I highly recommend this little gem of a place, you won't be disappointed. Margot loved my kids and they loved her. Most establishments don't pay much attention to children, but we sure were spoiled today. Thank you Margot! We will be back again.

Yelp
The food was excellent, the tea was delicious, and the service was perfect. The ambiance was beautifully decorated and pleasing to the eyes. All angles will give you a perfect picture. We went to celebrate my birthday and the desert was perfectly paired with the birthday tea. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants to have a great time and enjoy some tea time.

Yelp
I took my girls here for a mommy date and it was nice! The place was so pretty and Victorian it was a great experience. The food was good, but the tea was better! I got the jasmine and was not disappointed. My daughters got hot coco and the coconut vanilla and it was also good. What was the BEST of all was the service. There was a beautiful lady that ran the show. She was the cook, waited and everything in between. She was so pleasant to my girls and too the time to explain and teach about things. Will definitely come back when it's cooler to sit in the patio area. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I honestly had the most heartfelt customer service experience at The T house. When I first walked into the T house, the establishment was currently hosting an event (I did not call ahead of time to make a reservation), the sweetest lady rushes out of the restaurant and shares that she is willing to serve my family and I ! (regardless of her 90+ event!). The amount of attention my family and I received throughout our experience was highly appreciated! 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Sweetest little tea room. This place feels like it's run by family. The women working were lovely, generous, and patient with our 11 year old birthday party guests. The food and tea was plentiful (the peach black tea was divine) and they graciously accepted an additional last minute guest to our group. Highly recommend and we'll definitely go back!

Yelp
I came here on my birthday in December, and it was a great experience. I didn't realize until the end of my tea that they're reservation only, no walk-ins, as they seated me that day without saying anything. Super accommodating! Because it was December, the tea menu was specifically a holiday one with no alternative menus. The bottom tier was sandwiches; from what I remember, there were cucumber sandwiches, possibly turkey and cranberry ones, two other veggie ones, and a single salmon one. The middle tier was a biscuit with jam and cream. The top was desserts: fruits like grapes, oranges, strawberries, raspberries, etc., macarons, small cake squares, and small cookies. I came with an empty stomach and was pretty full at the end. The kind lady who took my order and served me tea asked if it was my first time there, and since I said yes, she added a couple sandwiches for free. So nice! The tea I got for the pot was an earl grey. They serve the pot alongside sugar cubes and milk if you ask for it. It was delicious! I wish I'd bought the tea, but I was in a hurry to get somewhere that day. The T Room was decorated for Christmas when I went. There was a Christmas tree in the corner, with ornaments that apparently were for sale. There were wreaths hanging from mirrors and cabinets, and the individual tables had cute Christmas centerpieces. On the walls, there are cute little picture frames and dishes hanging. I was in the front room, but I believe there's a back room for larger parties. The lady taking care of me was good at checking in with me when needed and leaving me to read my book when I wanted to keep to myself. Service was great overall. One thing to keep in mind is that it seems like they pay a charge when customers pay with card--$5 I believe? So paying with multiple cards isn't an option if you're with a group. Overall, a really nice experience. I'd come again!

Yelp
My daughter and I had such a lovely time at this tea room! Esmeralda warmly greeted us and the tea was absolutely delicious. While I wish they had macaroons, it did not detract from the overall wonderful experience that the owner provided. We have visited a few tea rooms before, and this one is definitely one of the best. We will definitely be returning with my sister and mom next time!

Stephanie D.

Yelp
An early Mother's Day tea. We (my husband and 3 friends) are in town for a music festival tomorrow. My daughter is in college nearby. So we had a lovely afternoon tea together. Tables share 2 large pots of tea, which they will replenish upon request. Sandwiches: cucumber cream cheese, chicken and cranberry, egg salad, and smoked salmon. Scones were denser than traditional, but the russian cream in lieu of clotted cream offset the heaviness. Dessert was an assortment of cakes, cookies, and fresh fruit. The owners were very nice and welcoming. I'm glad this all worked out. -- at The T Room.

Yelp
This place is wonderful!!! I can't believe I haven't been before. It's easy to find parking, which is so great. The owner/chef Margo is SO wonderful. She welcomes you as soon as you come. She is attentive, helpful and is so friendly. The food was delicious, as was the tea. It was just a lovely afternoon experience. I will definitely go back. And as you can see from the pics the place is cute, quaint and cozy!

Yelp
Called to make a reservation more than a month in advance for a Saturday afternoon and was rudely told by the woman on the phone that they only do private events on weekends. So don't even bother trying to reserve here for a weekend since the $$$ for private events is a priority for her.

Yelp
We had a truly phenomenal experience hosting my sister's bridal shower at the T Room! Ophelia, Emma, Margot, and Nara worked so hard to make sure all of our guests were happy and accommodated. The food was fresh and ample. We had the Georgia Peach and Jasmine tea and they both were excellent! The facility is clean and layout and decor were beautiful, so we didn't even need to decorate the space. There is plenty of public parking in the lots and on the streets surrounding the business. I'd love to return in the future. The business is family-owned and operated. They were so welcoming and made our group of about 30 ladies feel at home and comfortable during our time there.
google avatar

Yelp
It was such a great time! The ladies there are so polite and sweet. The rooms looked so cool with all the tea time related items and it looked like you could purchase some of the tea sets they had on display. I will say be careful with parking. I parked on the street and tried to pay for the meter. I say try because when I was doing it on the website it was lagging but said it went through. Ya turns out it didn't and I got a ticket and they didn't give me an option to fight it

Yelp
Such a fun experience! Came here for an engagement party + reunion with our group of girlfriends with a reservation. Coming in the shop was a little quiet, so we tried our best to not be so loud but we were a group of girl friends that had so much to catch up on and are always laughing - Margot the owner was sooo sweet and told us to be as loud as we want! She was awesome, checked in on us and made sure we got everything we needed, made great recommendations as well. The tea flavors were delicious and the food served was pretty and yummy!! She even gave us all to go containers to pack up everything we didn't finish. The experience was definitely worth the drive since we were not from the area. It's also located in a downtown area so it was nice to be able to walk around after as well.

Yelp
I just had tea at The T Room in Montrose. The setting was lovely and very floral as one would expect and the service was very good. However I was less than satisfied with the food. The sandwiches were the best of all the offerings: tasty and varied. However the scones were dry and tasteless unlike scones I've had elsewhere. The dessert cakes looked wonderful, but frankly were also tasteless: If it looks like chocolate and ginger, it should taste like chocolate and ginger. On a positive note, I appreciate that they were thoughtful to non-gluten and vegan folks by providing a fruit and lettuce salad. I've been around long enough to know great from good from just OK. So I rate this place as just OK.

Daniela H.

Yelp
Beautiful. Delicious. Love the service. The whole place is full of tea cups and kettles and little nick nacks on the shelves and tables. They have many variations of teas and they're all delicious. The women servers are kind and will attend you throughout your stay. I will definitely go back for brunch ‍

Yelp
Love love love The T Room. My sister and I love to come here whenever we can for afternoon tea. It's so reasonably priced. The tea selection is amazing, and the ladies that work there are always so sweet and welcoming. They also have the best tea sandwiches. The chicken salad is so good. I also had my bridal shower here last year, and it was so special and so much fun. This place is seriously a gem for any tea lovers.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience here for my baby shower my mother in law hosted. She and I worked with Margo chef-manager to organize everything which she assured would go as planned and for the most part everything turned out great! I absolutely loved your food and deserts. I never expected bite size finger food to have such flavor it did. Obsessed with the cucumber sandwiches and all the deserts were soo delicious I'd give a 10/10!!! Thank you for having us in your cozy cute little tea room and accommodating our large party.

Sandra N.

Yelp
Me and a friend were lucky to be taken in the same day last minute for an outside patio spot! Though I would recommend calling ahead as this place does get busy for reserved events. We were also told it was cash only when we called so be prepared! It was my first ever high tea experience and I absolutely enjoyed it. The place itself was charming, shabby chic in the cutest way possible. Everything I'd imagined a tea house would be like. My friend and I opted for the $32 per person menu which each of us were able to get our own tea which was a plus. I wished the tea was a bit more concentrated, other than that the sandwiches were yummy, scones cooked to perfection, and there was a great selection of sweet treats. The hostess and chef were so kind on our visit too! Would def come here again :,)

Yelp
I've been wanting to try The T Room for years and I'm so happy to have finally made it happen. I've been craving an Afternoon Tea and the only place I've ever gone in the LA area is the Living Room at the Peninsula in Beverly Hills. If you've seen the menu you know it's lovely but the price is steep, in upwards of $175 a person depending on what you order. I was treating a special young lady to her very first tea and well $400 was just not what I had in mind. We can visit the T Room nearly 6x for that. The T Room is $28 cash for their Queen's Tea and the space is absolutely darling. It was the perfect choice to get dolled up and enjoy a special girls day afternoon. We ordered two Queen Teas, one with Butterscotch tea and the other with Georgia Peach and shared our selections tier by tier. Their scones and Russian cream really stood out to me. There was also a cake selection up top that was absolutely divine. Margo provided the most sincere and wonderful service. I'm already wanting to return. We had such a lovely afternoon here. If you are looking for a fair and reasonably priced afternoon tea, nothing pretentious, just wonderful service, superb tea, and a beautiful spread I would highly recommend supporting this small business. If you love afternoon tea as much as me, there's a story on the Calm ap called A Very Proper Tea Party with Mary Berry (I listen to it all the time, it's my favorite- one of the most calming things I listen to) it can transport you into the experience of a delightful English tea for the times you can't make it to the T Room, but I highly suggest visiting - you won't leave disappointed. Free parking across the street, metered parking out front.

Susan P.

Yelp
We went to the T Room today to celebrate my best friend visiting. Margo welcomed us as we arrived and I think this was the best high tea experience I have had. The ambience was lovely and the food was excellent, a nice assortment of sandwiches and pastries as well as scones for each of us. All of us said we would happily return for tea there. Esme , the owner, also introduced herself and made us feel welcome. A very happy experience for all of us in our party who have been to high tea many times at different places.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect, but we had a most enjoyable time! They gave one tea offering for adults and one for children, so we selected 2 adult teas. The portions here are ample! 4 quarters each of egg salad, cucumber, and chicken salad, and an open face salmon. Plus, a warm scone each with jam and cream. Dessert bites and plenty of fruit top if all off. Tbh, the food isn't the most amazing, but between the warm greeting from the ladies and the ample quantity of food in the cozy environment, we had such an enjoyable time. The chairs were also more comfy than they looked. Oh, and plenty of tea options!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute and settled establishment. It's a place where you can sit back and be comfortable without the stuffiness of a high end tea house. The owner's sister Ofelia is charming and relatable. The Tea is delicious! We ordered Earl Grey and Chocolate Chai. They served traditional sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and an array of desserts. It's a happy place to be!

Yelp
The food is great, very pretty room, the severs could use some training in politeness!

Yelp
Such an adorable high tea room. Our server and chef Margot was an absolute delight. So friendly and warm. The decor is so cute. Love the patio. The food and tea were just fine. We really enjoyed our experience here. Downtown Montrose is darling and the T Room contributes to the whole small town atmosphere. Definitely recommend for girl dates if you want something different from girl brunch!

Yelp
Everything was A+ - food, service and ambience! This is my new go-to spot for high tea and quality organic, farm-to-table, masterfully handcrafted sweet and savory sandwiches and desserts!

Shanelzzz J.

Yelp
Place looks nice HOWEVER THE LADY ON PHONE IS SOOOO RUDE & SARCASTIC. She told me I need to call 2 months in advance for major days like Mother's Day then I sweetly asked her do you know of other Tea places around you and she goes "Google it hun Google it" I won't be going, people should be kind.

Yelp
The T Room is one of my favorite tea houses. It's cosy and unpretentious. You're welcomed immediately by Margo who is absolutely delightful. She keeps the flow going always with a warm smile. They must have close to 50 teas, so many varieties. The presentation of finger sandwiches, fresh homemade scones and a variety of desserts is perfection. Again I can't express enough, its Margo dancing around that gives this place 5 stars. Sure there are fancier and way more expensive high teas around but none compare to the welcoming environment here at the T Room

Sara E.

Yelp
I had an absolutely FABULOUS time at the T Room! It's in Montrose on the adorable Honolulu Street. Quaint and quiet. The inside is darling and spacious. The tables had plenty of space between them. A lovely patio in the back. Margot was amazing and so kind and welcoming like she was inviting us into her home. My friend and I got 2 different types of teas to share (Mauritius & Masala Chai) and a 3 tier tray of pastries, scones, mini sandwiches and cakes! I will definitely come back again!

Yelp
The loveliest of tea rooms, everything was cute and delightful. I wish tea rooms in portland and washington were priced this low. Came here with my baby and my two best friends for lunch and it was great. There was parking two blocks down, so it wasnt that bad, and for $28, heck ya. Service was great. Pastries and sandwiches were great and the tea selection was nice, plenty to choose from.

Yelp
The T Room is a cute beloved afternoon tea house in Montrose. MayLene D. and I were in the area and spontaneously decided to stop by the T Room. Public parking available across the street. Reservations recommended, because they are definitely very busy. We got super lucky and Margo allowed us to enjoy their experience without a reservation. Since we came around the holidays, the T Room was decorated with holiday cheer and everything was absolutely cute. Also they had a fixed menu selection for the month of December. Holiday Tea is $35 per person and a Children's Noel Tea for ages 13 and under is $25 per child. We opted for the Holiday Tea which came with our choices of tea and 3 tiers of goodie. Bottom Tier - Sandwiches: Turkey Pesto with Swiss Cheese, Olivade with Watercress, Tarragon Egg Salad, Lingonberry Chicken, English Cucumber and Norwegian Smoked Salmon Middle Tier - Freshly baked Scone with cream and jam Top Tier - Assortment of desserts with seasonal fruits For our choice of tea, MayLene D. had the Birthday Blend, which is a black tea with marigold, safflower, and blue mallow flower with passion fruit and mango. I opted for the Butterscotch Tea, which is a black tea with butterscotch bits and flavor. One of the customer favorites. Margo recommended that I tried my tea with milk, and she also brought out honey that I requested. It was a delightful recommendation as the milk really complimented the butterscotch notes of the tea. I LOVE the tea. I also had the chance to try MayLene D.'s tea and it was also a refreshing light fruity choice. Good, in a different way, but still enjoyable depending on what mood you are in. Amazing service and love their tea, but the reason why I am unable to give them a full five stars is because I didn't really enjoy the food. The sandwiches had the variety of flavors, more flavors than usual but smaller in size and not as tasty as my other tea going experience. Worst of all is the scone. Missing the lemon curd other tea houses usually offer, which is fine, but the "scone" tasted more like a biscuit. I mean this in a bad way. I don't like biscuits and I don't want my scone to taste like a biscuit. I would be interested in coming back for the tea part of the experience, but not as interested in the scones and sandwiches and things.

Yelp
I have to disagree with the negative review below. It is a small business and run by 1 or 2 people. Consideration for these types of businesses should be made. Yes, there are many other choices. However, when you do get a reservation (because they book out due to popularity), all is wonderful! One does not rush through a formal tea sitting. It's meant to be savored and lingered over. I took my parents to this wonderful hidden gem and loved everything from the decor, host, and food. Let's not mention the most amazing tea blends I've ever tried. We got 3 different tea types and could not decide which to keep refilling our cups. All I can say is, it is worth the wait if you can get through for a reservation. Patience will be worth it. Sometimes in life people get caught up in their haughty tooty selves and self worth forgetting to enjoy the little pleasures life still gives us, going back to simplicity and considerations of others. Life is too short. Cheers to all!

Yelp
MARGO is absolutely terrific. She is warm, professional, hard worker, loving... She made our first visit, the first of many. We are going back with a group for Christmas. The food was delicious, the decor beautiful, the tea, the best. Everything was beyond my expectations. God bless you all.

Yelp
One of the best afternoon teas I've had! I love their empress blend tea! They do schedule private parties here, so call to find out more. I love the ambiance!

Yelp
It was lovely. The service was great and the atmosphere was beautiful. We had six people and everything came at the same time. It was a terrific experience on a hot day.

Yelp
I absolutely loved my experience here at the T Room! My fiancé brought me here for my birthday and we had a lovely tea time with Margo. She was an absolute delight and we definitely enjoyed our time. The sandwiches and desserts were very filling but the highlight were the scones! It came with strawberry and cream and matched well with our Pomegranate Tea and Georgia Peach Tea. The desserts were also on point! I don't really eat grapes but they served the crunchiest grapes I've had in a while. The fruits were organic and the desserts and sandwiches were made there. What made this place stand out to us is how Margo checked up on the guests. She always asked, "Are you happy?", which honestly made this place felt like home. Highly recommending!

Yelp
If I could give 6 stars I would! Took my daughter here today for some one on one time and we were treated like such royalty! A day we will never forget! The tea and treats were so delicious and the decor is just perfect! We will definitely be back again and again! Thank you ladies for such an unforgettable experience today!

Yelp
The setting is absolutely delightful. The little tea sandwiches. Quite delicious, as was our tea selection. Mango peach My chocolate chip scone was way too dry but tasty. Service could have been better.
