The Tavern

Really awesome spot to relax and be cozy! Loved everything about the vibe, service etc. just felt like the quality of the fries/sides should have been better. Burger was great but for the type of place it was we were expecting a little more. Not saying it was bad at all! The food was delicious. The fries tasted normal though.

We enjoyed our meal and drinks at The Tavern in downtown Tulsa. Strip steak and fries for two was cooked perfectly. We were welcomed right before closing and not rushed at all. I did tell our host that we eat fast and tip well. I’m glad we stopped for dinner at the Tavern. Great experience.

It was just okay. I wouldn't spend the money or make reservations again for the food. It was good, my partner didn't like the food. The server was nice but couldn't hear us and spoke softly. Then halfway through the meal, they dimmed the lights but it was so dark one table had to use the lights on their phones just to read the menu and decided to leave. We finished only because we had already ordered. The spicy bloody mary was delicious!

Here visiting as a Tulsa Remote Guest (from Houston). Entering the establishment, there wasn't any friendly vibes, just dark and brooding. Had two appetizers, the shrimp dip was good and the mac n cheese (in my opinion) was too al danted. Nothing great, not the absolute worst though.

First thing I would like to say about this restaurant is how incredibly great the waiter we had was! The food options here are really top tier. I had the Tavern Club with the Whipped Potatoes and they were great about leaving one thing off of the sandwich that I didn't want. The potatoes were alright I was hoping they might be a little creamier but they still tasted really good, and they had chives on top which are my favorite. My mom had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup and she loved it. My sister had I think it was a Kale salad or something like that and loved it as well. Overall, it was was a place I would definitely eat at again!

Very comfortable, relaxing restaurant with excellent food and service. In an old building, with a classy decor inside that makes for a great dining atmosphere. We were there right after the lunch crowd had cleared. Food and service were excellent. The turkey sandwich and the fish and chips were delicious. The turkey sandwich was enormous. The shoestring fries (their signature side) were perfect. When I walked out I was full, happy and relaxed. I was really surprised; I didn't expect such great food and service from a place called "The Tavern."

One of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. Amazing staff, incredible ambiance, and a brilliant kitchen team. Consistently amazing and creative.

Went yesterday and sat at the bar. Our bartender was very nice! We got the fish and chips to split. It was such a huge size fish. So crispy! Hands down the best I have had. Also got the Angry Mac and cheese, the bartender warned us that it was spicy but I loved it. She also said you can get happy Mac and cheese that isn't spicy. Would definitely recommend stopping by the Tavern!!
