"Houston cafe The Tipping Point Coffee is visiting Deadstock for a few weekend events. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, the Tipping Point will take over the barista counter at Deadstock, with a latte-art throw-down at a to-be-disclosed location Saturday night." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Boudreaux and David are the coffee experts of downtown Houston! I have been coming here for over 6 months and I find myself just hanging out chatting with the regulars and newcomers that we turn into regulars! It is such a fun family style environment. I walk my dog here every morning so it is dog friendly! If you’re in the downtown are please stop by The Tipping Point Coffee shop! You won’t be disappointed!

Not great place for kids. Fairly small inside. The barista was fantastic and friendly. The cold brew was not the kick in the face I prefer. The retail inside was pretty rad.

The Tipping Point is more than a “Coffee Shop”! It’s a place where people from all walks of life can come together for deep meaningful conversations & at times a place to network & showcase art!

Small coffee shop slinging to the basics while shopping for some sweet vintage threads. Highly recommend the vanilla spice cold brew!

This place is one of the easiest stops I make when I'm downtown. Good and polite service, no matter the choice. The coffee is always on point, and on my way, I go! Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes coffee and supporting local businesses. 👌🏼

This is a great tiny coffee shop downtown. It has all of your necessary espresso needs. I ordered my standard cortado with less milk. The “stout” cortado, if you will. My barista recommended adding brown sugar and cinnamon instead of a syrup. It was delicious. I had never had that combination anywhere and I loved it. I didn’t see any pastries out but I did stop by after lunch. I would love to visit for breakfast in the future. This location is worth visiting and they have a different store in the back. I will have to wander around on my next visit.

If you haven’t gone by to grab a cup of coffee from Tipping Point Coffee what are you waiting for? I definitely recommend ordering a lavender latte - my favorite! Their coffee is always consistent and great quality. The friendly and welcoming environment is just the icing on the cake!

Yelp
Recently stayed at the Icon for a bachelorette party and wanted a place that I could walk to get coffee. I will confess that this was not the initial coffee shop I was going to. That place happened to be closed but I was glad because I found this cute little gem literally across the street from the garage side of the hotel As you walk in, you immediately have the counter to order to your right. It is super small with bench seating along the windows. But if you keep walking straight then you see an opening that goes straight into a clothing store. So neat because you can grab coffee and go shopping. The menu is super small but has all your basics and a few syrups. I enjoyed an iced honey lavender latte. It was so delicious and exactly what I needed. Now parking is what it is for downtown. The coffee shop is next to hearsay so street parking is your best bet. Even though the hotel icon is next door you could park your car there for a day but I think it's like $20 and you can't go in and out.

Yelp
With the recent closing of 3 Fibs I have been frequenting this as my alternative. I want to love it , I do, Sadly the coffee is subpar. Weak and no kick. I keep ordering a double latte expecting it to be a double latte and it tastes like water. The overall vibe is fantastic. Fun space, good looking crowd, ample seating. Sadly the baristas skills are not it. I get coffee here every few days and to be honest I'm never happy with my $6 cup. To make matters even worse the pastry's are not fresh and flakey. I bought three today and not only did they ring my order up wrong (and over charge me by $5), the were stale. Big bummer. Three stars for the vibes and locals energy but please update your coffee and pastry game! I want to hang out here!

Yelp
One of the most unique coffee shops in Houston. Welcoming baristas, some of the best espresso the city has to offer and bench seating for conversation. Multi-use space with a vintage store and tattoo studio in the back!

Yelp
The interesting part it has other store in it and maybe tattoo shop! Super interesting idea but I was there for coffee !!! Super modern cool spot economical coffee !! Got the good stuff !!! Cool staff !!

Yelp
I love this shop. Great espresso drinks up front and a vintage shop in back (and apparently tattoo shop in the far back, though I did not go there). My latte with whole milk was well prepared and delicious. Their house roast is a blend of Mexican and Guatemalan beans roasted locally, which makes for a delicate espresso flavor. If you prefer a stronger espresso flavor I recommend you go for a cortado or macchiato rather than a latte. Great local shop and very friendly. Bench seating inside if you want to hang out, but no traditional seating with tables. I don't think they serve food, so bench seating works great and encourages conversations rather than laptops.

Yelp
Love the community here but wish they'd have more tea options for non coffee drinkers.

Yelp
Tipping Point Coffee is more than just a coffee shop. They have become a part of my daily! Coffee is a huge part of my life and they never fail to deliver quality and consistency. The environment and service is superb. I occasionally take friends with me on my coffee runs and they also leave with the same sense of comfort that I experience every visit. I definitely recommend a lavender latte or everyone should try their blue matcha at least once!

Yelp
From the Time you walk in to the time you leave; you'll always feel like you have known the people who are in there your whole life. The vibes are always immaculate and the coffee always keeps me coming back time n time again.

Yelp
Great service, coffee and environment. The concept of the store is super cool, coffee in the front and a vintage clothing store in the back. I have always had a good experience every time I have gone.
