The Tipsy Pig in the Marina is a must-visit if you’re looking for one of the best burgers in San Francisco. What a cute place We had drinks - watermelon margarita and my husband a beer. The place was popping - the bartender was so friendly and helpful. We didn’t order food but the drinks were amazing. The staff were helpful and friendly with recommendations. The place was clean. Nice size bar. With amply seating both inside and out. Drinks were good and a great little place. I recommend this place.

Wow. So good. Had the ribs special with a side of maple bourbon fried jalapeño. Also had the brisket Sando a dish of Marionberry ice cream.

Came for brunch, left disappointed. Poached eggs wildly undercooked; whites dripping out. French toast also undercooked. "Millionaire's Bacon" must have been subject to inflation because this was the worst presentation (and taste) I've seen. Service was very slow. And, they add a 5% junk fee to all checks.

I really liked this place, the menu has several different options, the shrimp salad was delicious. The environment is also nice and they have a cute patio in the back

The drinks here are not up to par with those around. They have pretty good food though and service though.

We were a large group (around 9 people) and the restaurant was able to accommodate us (of course, we reserved ahead). We were seated at the "outdoorsy" back part of the restaurant. It was a relatively chilly day so the restaurant had heaters turned on from the ceiling. The food was great (felt that some of the menu was slightly over priced) - would definitely want to visit again at night to see how the atmosphere is like then.

New Years Eve. The place is packed. Reservations are stacked up. The staff is scrambling to keep the show running. By all means, the hostess managed to squeeze a table for our party of 4. She really didn't have to do that but she insisted and we promised we'd be out within an hour. My party ordered the salmon kale salad, an Asian chicken salad, and two tipsy burgers. Pictured is my tipsy burger with hog nog seasonal. Food, amazing. Service, OUT OF THIS WORLD. There were two hostesses (Asian, white brunette) and our server was the chill guy with tat behind ear. We had time to admire the back area, nice and warm insulated patio feel with heaters and a TV, and we had more than enough time to socialize amongst our friends. Can't wait to come back!

Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night and the vibe inside was super lively. The service is good and workers were all very friendly. We were seated really quickly. They have different deals on different days of the week (Tuesday was $20 margarita and tacos) which is fun. We got the popcorn shrimp to start and I got the burger. The popcorn shrimp was pretty good, but it was more breading than shrimp. The fried okra was pretty good though. (Asking for more sauce does cost extra though, which we didn't realize.) The burger was very filling and came on a bun that I thought was unique for a burger bun -- it was more bready than usual burger buns but it was still really good! The burger had a ton of greens on it, which surprised me, but it wasn't bad at all since there was a ton of sauce.

This place is nice and fun and we got lucky with a nice table. The service was also good, although food came at different times and we waited awhile for our check. Overall the food was good. The pork belly was fantastic. Tacos, fish, fries, mac&cheese all good. Burger was ok, meat was small for bread. Tator Tots were really good.

The chopped salad was so good I had it two days in a row and then took a third home for lunch on the third day...will be coming back!

Absolutely loved the strawberry fields drink and salmon and kale salad. The crispy tacos and ahi tarter cakes were also really good too. The margarita was alright and wasn't a huge fan of the tipsy burger. The service was incredible as our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Good fun vibes inside too.

We came during the day for some brunch and it was pretty good! The pricing is a little higher than would've liked but as expected. The caesar salad was honestly so good and my friends seemed to enjoy the benedicts. The donut holes were not bad!

This is a follow up to my review last month. I'm taking one star off my original 5. It's because of the menu changes. They no longer have the comfort food that they had only a month ago. No more grilled cheese or soup of any kind. I was craving the tomato soup. No pot pie. No vegetarian options except the sides of tater tots.

Tipsy pig is the perfect place for a happy hour on a nice day. They have a cute back patio for outside seating off the street. Their happy hour also goes until 6:30 so it's easier to make it there after work. The deals are: $9 for a lot of their apps, $5 beers, half off bottles of wines. Their servers are very nice and attentive.

Despite the heavy poured of rain last night, we still went to dine at The Tipsy Pig for the very first time before watching a show at Palace of Fine Arts. Lucky our friend found a parking in front of the restaurant. We were early for dinner at 5 pm so we ordered our drinks first. I ordered the draft beer called FORT POINT KÖLSCH STYLE ALE and I liked the taste. My friend ordered GUINNESS. And the other friend just had a glass of water. By 5 pm we started ordering CRISPY TAQUITOS as our starter. It was delicious especially when adding the green salsa sauce to the taquitos. We ordered our own entrees namely FISH TACOS, KING SALMON and mine was CHICKEN ENCHILADAS. It has been a while I had not eaten enchiladas. My friends enjoyed their meal as they said two thumbs up. I liked my chicken enchiladas but I tasted a little portion of the chicken was a little cold although the plate was very hot to touch. There was a cloth underneath the plate sitting on another plate. The enchiladas gave the cheese an irresistible, gooey texture and crispened the edges of the tortillas to perfection. I did not realize there were three of the enchiladas. I shared the third one with my friend and she said it was delicious. On the way to the washroom, I noticed the dining room was long and big. The server said it extended all the way to outdoor seating. We left the restaurant with full stomach. Now we were ready to go to a show and it was still continuing raining. I said to my friends that I would like to bring my husband and my daughters or even other friends next time. For comfort food, I recommend The Tipsy Pig.

The drink specials were not the greatest. They were already mixed and couldn't make alterations. The service was good. The food was meh. IDK.

We always go here for events and parties in the back. It's a perfect space for parent nights out. They are very friendly and we always have a wonderful time here with excellent service. We haven't had the food here but I'm sure it's good too. Why else would our hosts always have events at this venue.

Came with a group of 7 for a Sunday brunch, and were seated in the outdoor back patio. It's a nice, large space with heat lamps and a clear tarp for rain protection, but also traps noise. They were out of eggs unfortunately, so we couldn't order any of the benedicts or the steak and eggs. . Strawberry fields: (3/5) Not too sweet... Mainly strawberry puree and vodka, exactly as it's described. Lots of floating bits and pieces, think it could've been blended a bit more for a smoother drink. . Fried Chicken Sandwich: (4/5) Good crisp and I liked the coleslaw in the sandwich, which cut through the denseness of the fried chicken. . Tipsy Burger: (4/5) A bit messy to eat, and flavor-wise one-note. Of the two, I preferred the fried chicken sandwich. For both the sandwich and the burger, they give a small portion of tater tots/fries. Overall on the pricier side, which makes sense as you're in the Marina. Of the food they do, they're not the best in the city, but it's decent if you're hungry and nearby.

Had weekend brunch here. There's a good amount of seating indoors, with a bar and a back patio as well. Service was fast and pretty standard. I ordered the steak and eggs and was disappointed that the steak was basically sliced up beef stir fried. It was tasty, but the name on the menu was a bit misleading.

Great spot for a happy hour or lunch. Really loved the fish tacos and tater tots. Very friendly staff. Lovely local spot.

We get there a little bit late, 10 mins before they close the kitchen. So we were rush a little bit to order something really fast, so we ordered the fish tacos. I am pretty enjoy the fish tacos and the sweet potato paired well with the fish tacos. Our server is super nice and helps us order the beers. Next time will order the strawberry drink!

its our Second day in a row at the Bar. Hands down Emi...The very best cheerful bartender. She had a very welcoming vibe that you can feel its genuine.. We came here for the Happy Hour..Boy, id say this is sooo very best for the price and the choices. I'll be coming back often as i live in the area.. Strongly suggest..the Happy Hour ceviche. & Tacolitos,,. You can't go wrong with it... Emi your cheerful attitude makes customer wants to come back...I strongly suggest this place..as its located on a very decent location...and choice of food are great...

Stopped by as a walk in for a quick lunch, charming interior, buzzy vibe with the basketball on, very spacious promptly seated no wait. Variety of stuff on offer went for the chicken sandwich and truffle grilled cheese sando with tomatoes bisque - perfect for a rainy day

After reading a few bad reviews, I was skeptical about this place. None the less I have fallen in love with it! The food is wonderful and flavorful, the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is just perfect! Service is fast and very efficient!

Tipsy Pig is always a fun, casual place to grab a drink & bite of food. It has a dining room in the front, additional seating past the bar & garden seating available in addition to some tables outside. I usually like to sit at the bar & they have some tv screens if you want to catch the game. My go to cocktail is the Strawberry Fields which is vodka based & features fresh strawberries & strawberry purée & soda water with a lime. Refreshing & tasty & the vodka can sneak up on you. Lol They recently updated their food menu but I saw some diners enjoying their burger which came with tots, which inspired me to order a side of tots, turn my most recent visit. Service is warm & friendly & our bartender was awesome (I missed his name though). He's super quick too!

Apologize for any blurry photos, but I might have had one too many Grandfather's Tea (amazing whisky drink in spring 2024). Amazing bar food and service, thr only downside is that I live in the east bay so I am not close enough for this to be my neighborhood bar. Will have to try the other offerings next visit, but that burger...nom nom.

This place is dope. Amazing spot with huge outdoor space. Servers are so nice. Drinks keep flowing and the food is delicious. Go with the fried chicken Sando. Bomb. Great spot. Will be back.

Food (4/5)/Drinks (5/5) Our group of three came for drinks and small bites. We ordered the Fried Chicken Sliders (5/5) and Artichoke-Burrata Dip (5/5). The Fried Chicken Sliders were delicious but the portions were pretty small even for small bites (and $17 pricing). The Artichoke-Burrata Dip was a fan favorite and they provided additional crostini without us having to ask! For drinks, I got the Strawberry Fields (5/5) which is my new favorite drink! I prefer my cocktails to be not too strong, and this tastes just like strawberry lemonade. It can be a con as the cocktails overall did not have much alcohol content compared to other bars. My friends got beers and enjoyed their drinks. Price (3/5) Unfortunately while our experience and everything tasted great, I did feel like the prices were high even for SF. $17 for three bite-sized chicken sliders?.. Wait Time (4/5) Food took a while to come out. Our drinks came within an expected timeframe. Ambiance (5/5) Tipsy Pig comes off as a British-style pub. They have bar seating, table seating inside, and a couple of outdoor table seating (with overhead heat lamps). We were seated at the outdoor table though there were tables available inside. I enjoyed sitting outside as we could people watch and the heat lamps were more than sufficient for crisp evening/winter air. Next time I would love to sit inside! Restrooms were clean, with a couple W.C.'s and a communal hand washing area outside of the toilets. Service (5/5) Our server was amazing!! "Jenny from the block" was how she introduced herself. She checked in on us frequently, gave great recommendations, and even took some shots with us lol. Parking/Access (5/5) In a busy area, no concerns with parking though we took rideshare. May be slightly wheelchair inaccessible inside as there are some steps to the restroom area. I would definitely return! Our group had such an enjoyable time, for next time we would order more food and sit indoors to see what the interior vibes are like.

This was an unplanned dinner. We were staying at the St. Francis Yacht Club and walked into the Marina District to grab a bite. It was a busy Saturday night, but we were seated right away. Out waitress was fantastic. She made some fantastic recommendations. For our table, we had the ceviche tostadas and fried chicken sliders to start. Both were flavorful, fresh, and delicious. For entrees, one of us had fish tacos, another had the pork belly, another the tipsy burger, and the last had Mary's fried chicken. The sides were all delicious - fries, mashed potatoes, and veg. It was all so good!

We went here on a Saturday night for a quick dinner before attending a private party in their patio area. We got there around 8:15 and were seated immediately. Service was excellent. Cocktails were tasty. We ordered a Cobb salad, two pork belly entrées, and some truffle fries. Everything was delicious. The pork belly came with a buttery polenta. After dinner we moved to the middle patio for a private party and service was awesome. I wasn't sure what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. We chose tipsy pig because it was convenient and the same place as our party. I highly recommend this Gastropub.

Lots of flavors and so good. The soy sauce spicy tuna and slaw is incredible. Good service. Speedy. And great vibe. Nice back patio.

We walked in on a busy Saturday night but we're able to get seated for some drinks and small bites. It's a nice space inside and was seated outside in the back. There's heat lamps and tvs and chill vibe. We ordered cocktails, hush puppy shrimp, and Mac n cheese. Drinks were good, well balanced and flavor of each came thru. I thought the hush puppy shrimp would be more like a hush puppy with shrimp inside but was basically a portion of shrimp fried in a hush puppy type of batter. Food was good tho. Shrimp was lightly battered and not greasy. Mac and cheese was delish and good texture of pasta and cheese.

First experience at The Tipsy Pig Good - if you're there to hang out, and watch a sports event - restrooms clean Bad - both FOH & BOH understaffed leading to long delays - had the burger and Taylor tots, and bottom of tarot tots was in pool of oil Overall: have low expectations, if you just want to watch a sports event and don't care about speed of food and service you'll be fine.

The service was good. The food was not good. NY Steak and mashed potatoes were super salty. By boyfriend had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Both salty. The fried chicken looked like it came from the freezer., Will not return for food. About a year ago we had the chicken sandwich and it was really good. This wasn't on the menu for dinner.

The restaurant was perfect the perfect girls night - quick service, great ambiance, delicious food, and unique cocktails! I ordered the Tipsy Burger, which was so yummy and cooked perfectly. My friends both enjoyed their appetizers as well, and we all agreed that we'd want to go back again!

If you're looking for good pub food, look somewhere else. We've been here twice and both times the food was very underwhelming. The fried chicken was nice and moist, but had NO seasoning in the flour. It was like eating a chicken breast coated with sand, served with a side of raw mustard greens that likewise had no dressing or seasoning of any kind. The burger was overcooked, though in fairness this was by design -- according to our waitress they will only cook it medium-well. Call me picky, but if they can't even handle cooking a burger medium, I either don't trust the meat or don't trust the chef. The drinks were good, with a decent local beer selection and tasty cocktails, but another little thing is that they serve beer in a 15oz pour -- would it really kill them to serve a proper pint? Combine the mediocre food with the high prices (even for the Marina) and I doubt we'll be back again.

It's a first visit on a balmy Fall Saturday night and I found the back garden and a kind server to finish out a very pleasant San Francisco evening for this East Bay Interloper. I wanted a mellow sphere after a full day and found it in the back. Another time earlier in the day or evening, the lively front bar area could be the ticket. I will return with a friend another time down the road.

My friends and I drank one cocktail from this place called the bees knees (i think) and I honestly really enjoyed it. This place is a pretty SF-esque bar so I thought it was pretty nice to experience as an implant of the bay area. I didn't quite have an interaction with the bartenders because I was saving a table for my friends and I, but I heard he was nice! I would come back here for a nice drink with friends probably.

I used to come here to pregame before bars with strawberry fields, they really upped their food menu recently. I had steak with mashed potatoes and some amazing peppercorn sauce... it was delicious! Strawberry fields are still the best, I tried another drink called sunrise something, it was okay. My hubby got a shrimp salad, he also said it was good. For dessert we got a lava cake thing (a little dry, wouldn't recommend) and mini donuts (recommend). However if you come here try the steak and some strawberry fields... you will thank me later :)

BLAND, BLAND, BLAND. Fish tacos were all breading and no fish. THEY HAD NEGATIVE FLAVOR. The other dishes were equally dull (BLT chop salad, chicken sliders, etc.). No idea why their rating is so high. Especially considering the high prices and so many better choices nearby. Maybe it should be called "The Tipsy Chef" - she seems to have lost her recipe book.

Ordered the fish tacos and thought they were quite good. Batter was a bit greasy for my taste however. Sweet potato fries were very good Service was good and nothing to complain about. Sat on the outdoor patio which was very nice on a beautiful day.

The Tipsy Pig really was just okay. We stumbled upon it by chance, just because Campus (next door) was overcrowded with a birthday party. When we went up to the host stand, the hostess asked a few questions about my dog (who is a service animal) before telling us there's no space inside anyway. We grabbed an outdoor table, which was fine - a very standard looking outdoor seating area on the other side of the walkway. We stayed for one round and I ordered the Decoy Cabernet (good, as expected), while the rest of my friends got a beer and cocktails - the Bees Knees and another one I can't remember the name of. Both cocktails were just alright and service was kind of lukewarm. My friend also got the Spicy Tuna Tartar, which wasn't bad, but very a small portion size and somewhat mediocre. They did have a Yelp check-in offer that read "$3 for a Pint of Pliny", but when we asked the server about it, he told us that they no longer offer that. I wouldn't mind returning to The Tipsy Pig but I also wouldn't seek it out!

Ive been here twice based on a friend's recommendation. We met up here for some afternoon drinks as well as some late evening drinks when we came. Theres space to sit and to sit down sometimes. Good variety in drinks. Friendly customer service. Generally awesome atmosphere here with a walkable neighborhood full of other places to go with a group of friends.

Tipsy Pig is genuinely one of my all time favorite restaurants. Been a staple for me since high school and I can't stop coming back. Great cocktails, solid American food, everything here is honestly amazing. Share everything!! Back garden is fun to eat in & recommend it for brunch or happy hour. Wouldn't say it is an outrageously priced meal. Definitely would recommend bringing your parents here. Favorites: Bacon Mac!!!, Mini Burgers!!!, Strawberry Fields For breakfast: Huevos Rancheros, Chilaquiles, Breakfast Sandwich, Burger For dinner: spicy tuna tartar, pretzel bites, Brussels Sprouts Ambiance is very fun, good for birthdays or first few dates. Fun to come watch for games if want to glance over and not be super engaged. Service has been nothing but amazing for us.

So lucky to have passed by here on a Saturday when we were looking to take a break from our city walk about. Very cool space, we were able to be seated quickly, they have a back patio area but on a full sun day, it was a bit humid and stuffy back there, the indoor table was perfect. A round of drinks and we shared the best fish tacos! I'd go back just for those. Our server and other staff were all so nice and in such an upbeat, friendly mood. This is a busy and fun restaurant area and they made us feel very welcome. Cheers ! They also had Pliny the Elder on tap!

Everything I've tried has been excellent. Great service! Love the tomato bisque and crunchy grilled cheese!

I was here for Mother's Day lunch. They have classic brunch menu items that have a slight twist. I got donut bites and the spicy salmon sandwich. The sandwich came with a poppy seed bun, spicy slaw (not actually spicy though), well done salmon, and sweet potato fries. It was a little messy because the sauce coating the slaw mixed with salmon juice dropped when you picked up the sandwich. It was very filling. The donut holes were nice to share with the table.

The vibes were perfection! We got in immediately on a Friday night, which was really nice! We all got burgers, the girls got the house burger and I got animal style burger and it was pretty dank! Good size serving of fries on the side too! Service was fast and great! Might be a new fave!

Went in and sat at the bar only to be ignored the entirety of my visit. Wasn't able to order food at all because no one ever came back to check on me. Meanwhile the bartenders were doing shots with another employee. Finally asked for my check and left the bar. I asked to speak to manager before leaving. Adrian introduced himself to me as the General Manager. This was most disheartening since he was the one doing shots with the staff. Clearly was of zero help as he had been drinking and "off the clock"

Love this place. Fabulous always. Food is great. Drinks - fantastic. Beautiful patio. Relaxing spot for football Sunday. What more can you need?? Only thing I would say is: PLEASE BRING BACK THE QUESO.

My friends and I reserved this spot for brunch on a weekend and thankfully the reservation service via yelp was easy and straightforward. We were seated outside on a chilly afternoon with heaters and it was perfectly warm for t-shirt dress code. Their brunch menu was fantastic. They have classic bloody marys which can be spicy if preferred, very filling and deliciously alcoholic! They also have a creative cocktail menu as part of their normal menu, we got the bees knees which is a gin drink with citrusy tones and prosecco, it was perfect crisp for a summer day. I ordered the brussel sprout hash which was much more filling than I thought with a balanced mix of crispy brussel sprouts, and potatoes and pork belly, definitely a delicious and creative choice! Would def come back to test out the dinner menu, but we had a great time for brunch!
