This is one of those places that’s impossible to miss—its massive steampunk factory facade with smokestacks and gears draws you in like a Willy Wonka fever dream. The interior is equally immersive, with Victorian-industrial vibes, exposed pipes, and quirky details everywhere. It’s a step above typical theme park dining in terms of atmosphere and presentation, feeling more like a themed full-service restaurant than quick-service fare.
We focused mostly on the desserts, as that’s what this spot is famous for. The truffles were solid—rich and chocolatey—but not mind-blowing or outstanding compared to high-end chocolatiers. They had a pretty hard snap, which gave them a bit more crunch than your average chocolate truffle, and it felt a touch overdone.
The real showstoppers are the milkshakes and sundaes. These come piled high in massive jars, topped with full slices of cake, brownies, cookies, whipped cream, and more. The jars of shakes themselves were generously sized and their sheer size with the toppings would make them a commitment.
There are tons of options, from classic chocolate to creative flavors, plus macarons, pastries, and other confections on display. That said, they’re almost too decadent; the portions are enormous, and after a few bites, I imagine the sweetness would feel overwhelming.
Overall, I wouldn’t call Toothsome fine dining—it’s more of a novelty spot with elevated theme park vibes. The savory menu gets mixed reviews (we didn’t dive deep into entrees), but if you’re here for chocolate indulgence and a cool setting, it’s worth a visit. Just go in knowing it’s more about the spectacle than subtle perfection.
