We visited The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen for dinner, and the experience felt special from the moment we walked in. The interior is incredibly detailed and immersive. It feels more like a movie set than a restaurant, with unique decor everywhere you look. Even just being inside is part of the experience, and it is worth taking time to look around. We had dinner and also picked up some sweets to take with us. Everything felt thoughtfully done, from the atmosphere to the overall experience. This is a great spot if you are looking for somewhere that feels fun, memorable, and a little out of the ordinary, especially if you enjoy places with strong theming and attention to detail.

We were drawn to the theatrical, enchanting look of this place from the outside, and the inside proved to be just as captivating. Nothing "broke character" per se, and everywhere we looked, it was as though we had been transported to some magical moment in the distant past. There was a wait at the door for a table, but we were able to go straight upstairs to the bar area to avoid it. Beyond the inviting decor and welcoming staff, the food itself - particularly my chocolate infused grownup drink - was spectacular. We enjoyed appetizers (don't miss the French onion soup!) and shared a dessert of chocolate mousse. Rest assured that there are many savory items on the menu, if you're not in the mood for anything sweet. Attention was paid to the details in the presentation of the food, and even the dishes and cutlery. We will definitely be stopping back for one of their shakes, which look absolutely amazing! The experience, overall, was transportive, visually captivating, and fun.

Who doesn’t love chocolate and a touch of Willy Wonka magic? From the moment we walked in, the place felt whimsical and inviting, almost like stepping into a dessert‑lover’s dream. The atmosphere alone sets the tone, but the food truly sealed the experience. The chocolate bread was the star of the table — warm, soft, and packed with rich chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. It felt like the perfect blend of comfort food and indulgence. The savory dishes held their own too. Both the hamburger and the chicken sandwich were delicious, cooked just right, and full of flavor. You could tell care went into preparing them, not just rushing plates out. And then came the ice cream. I was in absolute ice cream heaven. Creamy, flavorful, and generously portioned — the kind of dessert that makes you pause mid‑bite just to appreciate it. The service made everything even better. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She checked on us often without hovering and made sure we had everything we needed. That level of care really elevates the whole experience. Overall, it was a fantastic visit from start to finish. Great food, amazing desserts, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

Went to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium on the day we were heading back home, and it was quite an amazing experience. Our server, Melody, was very welcoming and helped us narrow down our choices from the menu. We started with the chocolate bread, a milkshake, and the cocoa and hot honey wings which were great. I ordered the cocoa coq au vin and while it wasn’t my favorite taste-wise, it looked really cool and was well presented. I would definitely go back again for the experience alone. The interior and exterior design of the building are absolutely beautiful and very unique.

With the Steampunk appearance and theme of this location it was hard to not be curious. Stopped in for Brunch, opening at 10:30, checked out the gift shop and bakery they have on the main level while waiting to be seated. Lots of photo-inspiring treats without a doubt, and very clever looking in their presentation. Have a candy wall where you can bag up some sweets, went with the Cherry Gummies in the end and they were easily the best flavor of Cherry gave ever had. I don't know if these are made on-site or made by someone else but I've never run into them in this manner for sure. We were seated upstairs with a nice view below. Noticed that there is some outdoor seating up there as well if want a nice view of the water and Citywalk area. Ashley was our server and was extremely warm and friendly, answering a variety of questions and just having a great attitude overall throughout the time there. My aunt said the Monte Christo was easily one of the best she's had in a long time, the shake she had was rich and packed with flavor. I'm usually a seafood person and it was tempting to get the Swordfish, but I had to try the Braised Short Rib due to reviews and it didn't disappoint. If you enjoy this type of dish it's a very nice flavor balanced dish. Tender meat, roasted carrots are large and fresh with the jus and cocoa gremolata just complimenting the whole meal nicely. Did see two characters talking to diners downstairs matching the steampunk theme so I'm sure that adds a bit of fun, though I'm not sure if you have to be seated in a specific area to have an encounter with them, they certainly aren't taking the stairs to get upstairs at least. Will certainly return with my sisters family next year when we visit.

Great experience, superb for being in front of a Universal Studios. I’m picky with restaurants, and most are a 4 star max from me. The Chocolate Emporium at CityWalk gets 5/5 from me. First off, it’s delicious. I ordered the Quiche Loraine and my partner had the Patty Melt, both of which were well executed. Service was great and on the ground floor they have actors dressed in Victorian-era science fiction-like costumes, it’s great, especially for families. Their milkshakes are rich and delicious, though I will say very creamy and pretty intense. They don’t come cheap, but are good quality. The main courses, especially from the all day brunch menu, are on the affordable side at less than $20 a plate considering its location. Great spot and will return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ – Worth the Experience Once I was expecting more. The lines were pretty long, mainly due to a lack of customer service and organization. The desserts were just okay—I’ve had much better options elsewhere for half the price. During the holidays, they do offer a good variety, but most of the desserts are overly sweet and difficult to finish. While the experience itself is interesting, it didn’t exceed my expectations. Worth trying once for the experience, but not something I would repeat.

Our server, Jamie, was awesome! He was friendly and attentive even while juggling a large table. He really knew the menu and was helpful with allergies. The food was really good, even the kids' meal. The kids' chicken and rice felt and tasted like an adult meal, but in a child's portion. I had the braised beef, which was tender and full of flavor. I was worried about the chocolate sauce being overwhelmingly sweet and tasting of chocolate, but it was well-balanced and not overpowering. I also tried the meatloaf, which was also delicious. I am not a fan of mushrooms, but there were big chunks within the meatloaf that were easy to spot. You definitely want to ensure that you leave room for dessert. Dessert was the main reason we ate here since we saw people walking around with delicious milkshakes. We ended up ordering a flight of milkshakes, which was 5 slightly smaller versions of the bigger single-order versions. The other difference with the flight vs regular size is that you need to finish the flight at the restaurant, as the containers are glass, whereas the regular size ones are in souvenir containers. On our second visit, the restaurant was less busy, and the experience wasn't as good. We had to find someone to get an initial waiter; the service was slower, and the waitress was not as good. , Overall, the food was great, and I would return here again, and hope we end up with a good waiter.

I have a new gluten allergy and Toothsome did a great job taking care of me! I was waiting for my food for a while, but their thoroughness and the taste was worth the wait. Our server Mateo was amazing and kept checking in with us and always double checked my items with the chef

Always love a stop at The Chocolate Emporium. As a chocolate lover there's so many things to love. The chocolate bread is a MUST, even though it used to be a lot cheaper. I got the Patty Melt and it was served on brioche that was so decadent and sweet. Bring back the French toast!!!! We had good service, even though the bar was a little slow. The restaurant has a great vibe with steam punk decor throughout. The TVs give the room a nice moving effect that lends to the factory inspiration. The display cases up front look delicious and worth a stop!

This was an interesting experience that started with a broken chair and ended with a gimmicky conversation with a steam punk owner trying to upsell us more milkshakes! We were seated and the chair they gave me was broken it had a really bad hole in it that I sank into making for a very uncomfortable position so I asked for a new one and then what I saw was a bunch of employees telling one another to get me one so after a few minutes of me just standing there I went and got one myself as I just felt awkward standing for so long. We ordered a milkshake which was the Key Lime Pie one and I just say it was yummy had a good Key Lime taste to it along with a small slice of the pie on top making for a yummy bite between the sips! Of the many options I went with Burger Au Poivre and I must say it was flavorless as the chocolate brandy peppercorn sauce was non existent like it literally had no flavor to the burger at all I might have just ordered a burger with only cheese, by far a huge disappointment as a peppercorn sauce is supposed to be very flavorful! Next up was the characters of the restaurant a cool looking steam punk robot and a lady who was obsessed with telling us to get more milkshakes, like I get it it's a theme but I feel that her whole purpose was to upsell more milkshakes which with them hanging around our table at the end of our meal telling us to get more milkshakes was kinda annoying like you can play to the theme without being obsessed about upselling. Overall this was a huge disappointment I wouldn't come back here as it's not worth the money for flavorless food a decent milkshake and a character trying to tell you to spend more money!

I wish I could give half-stars because I'd give this place 3.5 stars. Overall, it's good, but not great. Our server was great. He was funny and knowledgeable. It was really busy when we were there as I suspect it is most of the time. Service was a little slow, but I don't put that on the server. The menu is gorgeous with a ton of options. Many of them were over the top. The flatbreads looked good. The Reuben looked good. It all looked good, but again, not great. My friend got the Monte Cristo which was pretty over the top. It was gorgeously presented but the deep fried exterior was . . . a lot. She commented that she'd pull out the sandwich filling and eat that for leftovers because the deep fried exterior was just too much. My Croque Monsieur was weirdly executed. The exterior cheese seemed torched and crumbled away really easily. It was super heavy and I didn't finish even half because it was so rich. Another friend got the apple pie and it was good, not great. Overall, presentation was fun, but it came off as a little mass produced and theatrical. Style over substance. A theme park restaurant.

Think of it as a mix of a restaurant and a chocolate shop - there's seating for meals on a couple levels like a Melting Pot but also a large bakery & chocolate shop upfront. Grab reservations ahead of time if possible - they get busy particularly around dinner time. Prices for a brownie are high, though, 1 piece is $12. This is on the more expensive side for chocolate fudge that's ok but not great. Steampunk vibes for the decor and items for sale like little dragon statues (very cool, but for $100+, I had to pass) and shirts and hats. Staff dressed in steampunk and a lot of cool art on the wall. Seating outside and inside available.

Chocolate Emporium - Orlando, FL (Yes, Vegans... Stay With Me) I did not expect to say this, but the Chocolate Emporium came through for the vegans--and came through hard. We started with the bruschetta, and listen... it was top tier. Juicy tomatoes, perfectly toasted bread, and that balsamic glaze? Balanced, rich, and absolutely doing its job. No notes. Then came the surprise star: the vegan chunk steak sandwich. Yes--vegan. Hearty, savory, satisfying, and honestly better than some non-vegan versions I've had. The texture was on point, the flavor held its own, and it didn't feel like an afterthought slapped on a menu. That matters. Now let's talk drinks. The strawberry lemonade? Delicious. Bright, refreshing, and fun. I added Pop Rocks, which instantly took me back to childhood and gave the drink a little extra pizzazz. Loved the experience... until after I finished the drink and read the back of the Pop Rocks package Important vegan note: Pop Rocks contain milk, so they are not vegan. I survived, but learn from my mistake. If you're strictly vegan, skip the Pop Rocks--the drink is still fantastic on its own. Photos below, because receipts. Would I go back? Absolutely. I'd drive to CityWalk in Orlando just for that vegan chunk steak sandwich alone.

We also tried the vegan steak sandwich, the risotto, the may contain nuts sundae, and the chocolate mousse and all were good. Some other reviewers said the risotto was undercooked but I didn't have that experience and it was so tasty. We also got jar cakes to go and the peanut butter chocolate is amazing! I will definitely return if I travel to Orlando again.

We came to Toothsome with reservations for 8 people. Most of us have never been here before. My husband and I are local and Universal pass holders, but haven't been here, yet. I don't recall our server's name, but she was from Puerto Rico. My FIL loved it as so is he! She was a great server! Refills happened when needed, etc. 3 shakes were purchased and were great. We did not know that we could have taken the cups home, though. Oh, well...we really don't need them. Food was filling and amazing. I have to say that I was impressed. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews, so I wasn't sure. I did go with an open mind. I don't know if I'd go back, though. It was good, but I think there are better options for us. I don't have little kids anymore and I think that's part of the draw. But it's definitely worth a visit.

We took two trips to this restaurant while at Orlando. The first trip was wonderful, our waiter Jaime was excellent. Our party has some food allergies and he was very good and gave them the proper care and disclosure to us so we could be informed. The food was so tasty, and everything was excellent. We ordered the flight of milkshakes and they were all very tasty, a little expensive to me at $55 for 5. It's a very nice restaurant and it's enjoyable and very pretty concept. ------- We went back the next day and our waiter wasn't nearly as good. I won't mention her name her, but she wasn't informed she had a table and we waited about 10 minutes before she arrived. And then she basically did the bare minimal and wasn't nearly as personable as Jaime. I'm torn with my rating just because they first experience was so exceptional compared to the second.

This place definitely commits to its theme--the interior is unlike anything I've seen and makes the whole experience feel special. We were grateful to be seated right away on a busy Saturday night. Our waiter was incredibly personable, and service was quick despite how bustling it was. The food exceeded our expectations. The warm chocolate almond bread was absolutely incredible and so unique, and the teriyaki salmon was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert--everything is rich, decadent, and well worth it. A fantastic spot all around!

**INITIAL REVIEW** When it comes to the businesses located within Universal Orlando Resort's Citywalk, there are two that are "stand-outs" according to both locals and resort fans who often repeat their patronage to said resort. The first is Voodoo's Doughnuts, but the second, and probably the more amazing business is The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen (which I will shorthand simply to Toothsome for the remainder of this review) truly stands out from the rest of the businesses in Citywalk. For starters, it is a business with its own standalone building Second, it seems to be "separate" from the rest of the businesses in Citywalk, and by thunder, what an excellent move that was. Anyone who looks upon Toothsome will most-likely think they are staring at a modern-day steampunk-styled version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. And just like stepping into Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, Toothsome is definitely a culinary adventure from pure imagination. Though an address is given, Toothsome's location is best described as being on the "northside of the lake" closer to the entrance to Islands of Adventure. As mentioned earlier, Toothsome definitely looks like something out of the future in a steampunk timeline. Upon entering, you'll notice the "chocolate emporium" part of Toothsome is on your right. Flanked by steampunk decor, you'll see amazing chocolate confectionaries and sculptures all for sale. Be wary of the unique chocolate sculptures as they are priced in accordance to its fine detail, mostly three-digit prices on almost all of them. No worries though as the chocolate emporium has a fine selection of high-class display case chocolates and confectionaries to purchase. Definitely love the unique flavors they have for their macaroons. And before other dessert places did it, this is one of the few chocolatiers and dessert parlors that featured the massive cake shakes and cake slice desserts, the ones you definitely need to share with friends or at least prove how much of a sugar hound you are if you finish it yourself. Then there is the "Savory Feast Kitchen" part of Toothsome. They have a great selection of sandwiches, paninis, and main course meals. I definitely would suggest the "May Contain Bacon" and their gnocchi. For the former, it is a 1/4 pound beef patty with thick slabs of bacon, grilled pork belly, a "chocolate stout" sauce, all between a pretzel bun. And the gnocchi, well... I love gnocchi, but usually it is a special when they have it. Unlike Voodoo Doughnuts in which I say they are overpriced as there are places outside of the theme park that makes what they make at a cheaper price, Toothsome, I cannot really say, as they utilize chocolate in a lot of their menu items. There are just items on the menu you don't get anywhere such as the chocolate creme brulee and the chocolate sourdough bread. All the food is an experience and yes, you will be paying more than $15 per main item, but it is worth it especially for a one-time visit. And if you are unsure what you want, be honest with your server and they'll guide you with the best experience possible with your preference in accordance to how much you are willing to spend. Ultimately, I am going to give Toothsome the highest rating I can give but mostly because I've eaten here many times and they have proven time and time again that despite their high price, their pedigree shows they deserve to charge such and you'll get an experience of the same caliber.

I would highly recommend all of the dishes I ordered and surprisingly the Chocolate bread with salted caramel butter had just the right amount of sweetness.

Walking into The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen feels less like classic Willy Wonka and more like the Johnny Depp sequel--beautiful, mechanical, slightly unsettling, and fully committed to spectacle. This place opened in 2016 at Universal CityWalk, and Universal came out swinging. Giant smokestacks. Steampunk gears. A gothic-industrial chocolate factory that looks like it runs on cocoa, electricity, and unresolved childhood issues. The decor is top-tier--no corners cut, no cheap props, no "close enough." You don't just eat here, you enter the narrative. If molten sugar, towering milkshakes, and dessert masquerading as architecture are your love language, you will be in absolute heaven. These chocolate concoctions are absurd, photogenic, indulgent, and proud of it. This is not a place for restraint. This is a place for leaning in. The savory food is solid--sometimes very good--but it knows it's playing second fiddle to dessert. Think of it as a warm-up act before the main attraction explodes on stage covered in whipped cream. Service varies, but more often than not it's genuinely good. When it hits, it hits. When it stumbles, the atmosphere and sugar rush tend to soften the blow. This is a high-energy, high-volume spot, and most of the staff handles it with professionalism and patience. You don't come here for subtlety. Toothsome isn't trying to be timeless--it's trying to be unforgettable. And it succeeds. You'll remember the visuals, the sugar, the drama, and the feeling that you just ate inside a very expensive, very caffeinated art installation. Bring a sweet tooth. Leave your self-control at the door.

I was genuinely excited to finally secure a dinner reservation at the iconic Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen in Dr. Phillips to celebrate a significant family event. I even noted the occasion in the booking, which regrettably was never acknowledged, even though I observed other tables receiving special recognition. While a small detail, it set a slightly disappointing tone, compounded by the fact that we were seated late despite having a reservation, a tough start when you're starving! The atmosphere is undeniably whimsical, and I must commend the entire Front of House staff; our waitress, in particular, was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was working incredibly hard, running around to keep up with the demands. Their dedication was genuinely impressive, even if I was exhausted just watching them! However, the main issue, and the reason I cannot give a higher rating, lies squarely with the kitchen execution. For this price point, the food should be over-the-top flavorful; instead, everything we ordered was sadly underwhelming. The Dishes: A Call for Better Seasoning & Quality Control Here is a detailed breakdown of our meal: Savory Appetizers: o Wings: It's tough to mess up wings, but these were disappointing. They seemed to have no salt added before frying, leading to a completely flat flavor profile that was only sweet and oily from the sauce. The only saving grace was the excellent ranch dressing. o French Onion Soup: Honestly, it was unmemorable. I've had better versions at casual chains (like Applebee's a decade ago). The one positive note was that the bread inside wasn't a total soggy mess. Mains: o Tour de France Burger: This was flavorless and excessively greasy so much so that the oil soaked through the bun immediately. The one element that saved it was the perfectly cooked egg. The truffle fries tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. o Kid's Chicken Tenders & Fries: My child loved the tenders, but even he complained repeatedly about the completely unseasoned fries. We tried adding salt at the table, but the shaker poured out heavily, ruining them. Iconic Milkshakes (The Biggest Disappointment): o Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake: Shockingly, the actual piece of cheesecake on top was stiff and dry. The shake itself was just a standard vanilla milkshake with a drizzle of sauce. The quality did not match the premium price tag. The amount of whipped cream was so excessive as well. o Confetti Milkshake: The presentation, while cute, was impractical; the excessive sprinkles on the outside made it hard to hold, and the large amount of sprinkles inside made it difficult to swallow. The cake on top was also intensely dense. The Toothsome Chocolate Factory has an incredible concept, a stellar front-of-house team, and a truly beautiful atmosphere. But the success of a restaurant ultimately rests on the food. Until there is a serious overhaul in the kitchen focusing heavily on proper seasoning, reducing grease, and ensuring the premium dessert components are fresh and high-quality, I unfortunately will not be able to return. They have all the ingredients for an incredible dining experience; they just need to refine the fundamentals.

I was pretty stoked to try this spot as a chocolate lover, but it gives typical theme park food vibes. Overpriced and just okay. We sat at the bar and placed our whole order, so somehow the dessert came out before our apps and meal. Would love a little more creative thought into the dishes and their presentations -small things like slicing the carrots or apples into thinner pieces could make a big difference. It's cool for the novelty, but pretty mediocre food.

We visited a few times while in Orlando and sat down 3 different times. We prefer sitting inside but outside isn't bad. The waffles and steak were great but I can pass on the fries (I don't like the topping). We tried the brie appetizer, wings, and a few desserts. The cocktail is delicious though for mine I skipped on the popping fizzy candy. The wings could use a flavor kick, they taste good as is (we have ordered them twice) but we love spicy. The bread and butter appetizer is worth every penny. The creme brulee was a big waste. We didn't even eat it. The top was not crunchy and the texture of the inside was basically a pudding And not a tasty one. Service is always good here once you are seated and it's always fun for the kids if they can get a pic and chat with the owners!

The shakes are so good here. Didn't really like the food, but the shakes ...are on point! We tried heavenly hazelnut, brownie, strawberry cheese cake, & two other desserts that I do not remember the names. Best to get a reservation if you want to eat at the restaurant especially any peak season.

We went to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium during our trip to Disney and Universal in September 2025. During one of our days visiting the Universal parks, we reserved a table for a late lunch/early dinner at this restaurant. We then went back later that day for dessert. We were pretty impressed with the food! We started with some warm chocolate almond bread which was so delicious! I ordered the Brisket and Wild Mushroom Meatloaf which came with asparagus and mashed potato. My boyfriend ordered a sandwich with truffle fries. I really enjoyed my meal. It felt really home cooked and it just hit the spot since we were reaching a point in our trip where we were craving our own food. After more time in the park we went back and each ordered a milkshake. That was a mistake! They are HUGE. Our eyes were bigger than our bellies. My boyfriend ordered a mint chocolate shake which he drank all of and loved. I ordered a coffee shake and was a tad disappointed as it didn't really have a strong coffee flavor. In my opinion, these were more for the "wow factor" than they were for the taste. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to any visiting Universal Citywalk. The theme of the restaurant was really fun and the food is good!

Wonderful experience! We went for a birthday and the service was spot on. Ambiance had us feeling like we were in another world and the food was lovely. I'm typically not a French Onion Soup gal but it called to me and... WOW. Short ribs were tender too! We had a special visit from a couple characters that roam the dining area. Would recommend for some good food and fun!

Love this place for the simple fact that to they have a chocolate shop and milkshake section before you walk into the restaurant. Probably one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. I always enjoy my time and food here when I come. If you are a chocolate lover (which I assume why you are here) and a cocktail enthusiast please try the Old Chocolate Fashioned! The subtle taste of chocolate in the drink is the perfect amount to have a flavorful Old Fashioned but with a sweet hint of cocoa! 10/10 Our server was very mindful of our table and made sure we were having a nice time. It's a great place to come with a group before hitting the parks or just to have a delicious dinner at night when the parking is free into Citywalk!

Very interesting place! Honest I like the ambiance of this place. One of a kind with the steam punk theme. Gears and metal with 2 large screens that play a factory like setting in the background. Service was good and I love how they have staff in costumes coming around. Again very unique style the kids loved and got pictures with. Food was ok. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and with much respect that they even offered this dish it just fell short of my expectations. But it was good. The flavor was slightly lacking and the bread was half crunchy half soggy. But again this is a rare dish to see. Over all though I would eat here again as everything else was really good and the family enjoyed the atmosphere.

This place is dessert heaven! The milkshakes are absolutely wild stacked high with toppings and totally Instagram worthy. Every sip was pure happiness. I had the cookie milkshake and it was the perfect amount of rich and the presentation was over the top in the best way possible. The macaroons here are also a fan favorite ! If you've got a sweet tooth, this spot is a must visit!

Reservations are a must but it's a worthwhile visit if dining at City Walk. We love the French country brunch and baked Brie appetizer. Portions are HUGE here. Anything chocolate is amazing here.

Our server, Nicole F. Was phenomenal in every way, top tier service, unfortunately some steaks came out way under cooked and the chef would rather argue that she probed the steak at 135°, as if I don't know what a medium rare steak should look like. Other than that one issue, everything else was great, including the drinks!

We are in universal studios for the weekend, and I had read great reviews about the Toothsome chocolate emporium. This was a must eat fantastic spot! The exterior is just beautiful with 2 large chimneys + gizmos and gadgets. As you walk inside, the same design continues. We sat upstairs, which gave us a nice view of the whole entire restaurant. Our server was Melissa and she was so kind and gave us the best recommendations for all of the food. We started with the truffled brie fondue dusted with chili coco powder which consisted of chocolate almond bread crostini, Granny Smith apple, rainbow cauliflower, and baby carrots. This was seriously to die for!!! We couldn't stop eating it. We dipped our entire meal going forward into that fondue. It was so creamy and fresh. We wanted to save room for dessert so we ended up ordering the Patty Melt and splitting it between the 2 of us since Melissa told us it was quite a large portion. This consisted of challah, half-pound house-made fresh hamburger patty, sunny-side up egg, grilled pork belly, cheddar cheese, and Lyonnaise potatoes. We continued to dip the melt into our fondue and it was phenomenal. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate creme brulee which consisted of creamy chocolate custard with a caramelized sugar shell. Also fantastic. There was a robot and woman dressed in character walking around the restaurant that wished me a happy birthday which was such a nice touch. Our whole bill was quite affordable. 10/10 recommend eating at this unique spot in universal studios! Had such a blast here!

I know the place is known for sweets, but I had the Rueben sandwich. Was really great. Service was great, sadly don't remember the waitress' name but she had a Kiwi accent. She was very attentive, and quick. Place is large and busy but it's built in manner that it's not very loud, and it was very clean.

Excellent food. Fantastic decor - love the steampunk theme throughout the entire building. Fantastic service. Of course exceptional desserts.

Two friends and I stopped in for dinner before a concert at the Hard Rock. We arrived before 5pm on a Friday evening and there was a 40 min wait, which is actually not bad when you're at a theme park restaurant. While we waited for our table we popped upstairs and had a few drinks at the bar. Be warned that drinks are not cheap. I ordered two beers one was a chocolate Stout and the other was a Bells pale ale which came to $11 each. Still cheaper that drinking at the Hard Rock. Our table was ready a bit sooner than expected, which was great. We were seated on the second floor near the balcony where we could get a view of the patrons below. Our server, Michael, was very friendly and greeted us promptly. All three of us ordered the same meal the Brisket Meatloaf ($25). While we waited for our meals we enjoyed some more beer and we're able to meet Penelope and Jacques, the English Steampunk duo who have been here since the start of this restaurant, hard to believe it's been 10-years already. Shortly after our photo ops and chit chat with the duo our meals had arrived. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and two spears of asparagus was very good but you don't get a lot for $25. The sauce was also delicious but I'm pretty sure it's out of a can and has MSG in it. For dessert I went with the Triple Chocolate Bread Pudding ($11). Also very good and is a better portion size than the creme brulee or fruit tart at the same price. After dinner we shopped downstairs for a take-home dessert. In my opinion, if you're not going to buy one of the super fancy $17 to $25 dessert items off the main menu than wait to get dessert on the way out downstairs at the bakery/gift shop. They offer a larger variety of desser items to choose from, at a better price point than in the restaurant. We end up picking up a double stuffed chocolate chip cookie bigger than the size of my hand we split it three ways and still couldn't finish it all that was only like $6. One other thing I want to bring up is there are a lot of employees downstairs standing around that could take a few minutes to clean the overflowing trash receptacles and wipe down the patio tables outside. It was pretty nasty out there All in all, this is a beautifully themed Steampunk restaurant and it is worth going to at least once. Yes, It is expensive, but you are at a theme park so you have to expect that, unfortunately. There are better more affordable options to eat outside of the theme park; however, this is conveniently located next door to Hard Rock, so dining here before a show will save you a lot of time and hassle. I would definitely come back again if I was attending another show at the Hard Rock, but probably go for the burger or fried chicken sandwich next time around.

We finally got a chance to have dinner here a few months ago, and honestly, I have mixed feelings about it. Everything feels a bit exaggerated. The place is nice, but the restaurant area is quite dark -- not in a cozy way, just dark. The menu is varied, but most dishes have too many flavors going on at once, which might not be very inviting for those who prefer something more classic. I had high expectations, especially after trying their famous smoothies, sundaes, and desserts (which, in my opinion, are also a bit over the top). Overall, it wasn't one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had, but it wasn't bad either. The prices are actually quite reasonable, especially considering it's practically inside the park. So while it didn't totally wow me, I can see why some people really like it.

This is a must try place if you are visiting universal. It's located after parking structure but before the main park entrance in a very lively place having lots of stores , restaurants etc . We took a chocolate brownie milk shake and man , it was too good . The portion size is huge so be mindful of how many you want to order. We ( family of 4 with two kids) just wanted to try ( and not get full ) so we ordered 1 and it still kept us full for sometime . Very reasonably priced at only around $20 for a milk shake and the service was fast although there were lot of people in queue on a Tuesday . They also sell jar cakes and macaroons which I wanted to try but was too full , so had to skip . May be next time .

This was a nice experience! The restaurant has a nice modern but factory like environment - we sat on the second floor. There is a nice looking bar there with ample sitting. Reservations are strongly recommended - although they don't have this restaurant on Open Table. You have to try one of the shakes - I would say it's good to share as they are stuffed with sweets. Their brunch menu is pretty good and there is a variety of options in their menu - specially their drinks. ****food did take a little bit of time to come out. But it was busy and you could tell the waiter was trying his best.

Food is really good, sweet exactly as mentioned on their theme. Almond bread is fatantastic. A lot of space, excelente vibe and the service is reslly.good. the creme brulee is nice

Stopped by Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and decided to try the Confetti Cake Milkshake. Presentation-wise, it's definitely an eye-catcher,loaded with sprinkles, whipped cream, and topped with a slice of cake. The milkshake itself was solid but pretty run-of-the-mill. I actually liked the cake more than I expected, though I can't say I loved it. Still, the whole thing came together well enough that I left happy with my choice. My only gripe? The price. $18 for a milkshake is outrageous by any standard. But, considering this is a restaurant designed for tourists, it's not exactly surprising. That said, the huge variety of shakes they offer keeps me intrigued. I'd strongly consider coming back to try another one, just to see what else they can dream up. Touche to Toothsome for keeping me interested in a return visit!

We come here on every trip to Universal for the chocolate espresso martinis--and this visit absolutely deserved a review thanks to the incredible bartenders. We came for one, stayed for three... plus food! Caylor and Grant made this trip unforgettable. We laughed nonstop--their sarcastic humor paired with genuinely helpful advice and insider tips about the parks was the perfect combo. The drinks were spot-on, the vibes were immaculate, and the conversation alone was worth staying. Huge kudos to our new favorites: Caylor and Grant Honorable mentions to Andy and manager Barbie for keeping everything running smoothly. Can't wait to be back--this place never disappoints. This was not bad for what it was! I was surprised there was a wait because it seemed so much larger from the outside. We had a party of 10, so I'm sure it would have been less if you had a regular size group with you. They sell chocolates, sweets, and souvenirs at the front, along with their signature milkshakes. Our server was really attentive, and interacted with us well. We were very hungry, so he helped us along lol We ordered a lot: the chocolate bread, pastas, meatloaf, and sandwiches. I don't think you can go wrong with anything, and the portions are pretty generous! I would absolutely come back here especially for the milkshakes - it really treats your sweettooth! Oh, and like many restaurants here - stroller parking it by the front with the hostess stand

Had an extremely negative experience here. Was asked by our server if anyone at the table had an allergy, to which I replied "I'm vegan and gluten free". She shouted back at me, "I SAID ALLERGY!" I repeated that I need my food prepared gluten free. In addition to being vegan (sure, by choice), I am also lactose intolerant. I've gotten used to just saying vegan since it covers all the bases, but apparently this server found that personally offensive. Throughout the whole meal, she would constantly make comments about my "allergy meal" and shoot me mean stares. She was extremely unprofessional, harsh, and just flat out rude. I don't know if this is a training issue throughout the whole restaurant or if this woman was just having a bad day. Either way, food allergies, aversions, and religious or other restrictions can be extremely serious, and do not warrant bullying or being shouted at. One of the reasons I chose this restaurant was the several vegan and gluten free options listed on their menu. Too bad their staff isn't so welcoming to those who actually want to eat them.

As them park food goes, this was okay. I used to go to this restaurant years ago, but I feel like their quality has gone down. The food is still pretty good - their desserts are the best. The burger I got, May Have Bacon, was okay. The bacon was overcooked as kind of soggy once we got it. Everything else on the burger was cooked well.

the overall atmosphere of this place is unmatched! The way they have the robot going around is so cool and such an experience. Me and my family tried the milkshakes and chocolate strawberries! I loved the milkshakes and the cake on top however , the chocolate on the strawberries hardened within 5 minutes which sort of ruined it a little bit but that's not their fault. still a lovely experience and I would go again

Dessert Heaven--Too Good to Pick Just One! If you've got a sweet tooth, this place is a dream come true. The desserts at the Chocolate Emporium are next-level--decadent, creative, and absolutely delicious. I couldn't choose just one, so I didn't! From the over-the-top milkshakes to the rich cakes and sundaes, everything looked (and tasted) incredible. The steampunk vibe adds a fun, whimsical touch, and the service was friendly and fast despite the crowd. Whether you're celebrating or just craving something indulgent, this spot is a must-visit. It's my second time coming to this place. Just like the first time, it absolutely killed it. The flavors were beyond this world. I think they might have the best burger I've ever had. The chicken sandwich was also phenomenal. This place has definitely become a staple for my family as a must go every time we are in Orlando. Thank you so much for the fantastic service, and amazing food.

What a cool place! If you're into Steampunk and getting drunk, then this may be a good place to go. We were killing time before a show at the Hard Rock (right next door) and decided to go to the upstairs bar for a drink. There are a lot of "chocolate" cocktails on the menu and the chocolate cherry cordial was a good option. It wasn't an Ooh is so good cocktail (RIP Mr. Food). I'd think this would be the perfect place to have an espresso martini, but nothing like that was on the menu. I mean chocolate and espresso and vodka in a drinkable form. Please add to the menu! I haven't eaten here, but a lot of the food going by looked pretty good. It's huge so I'd imagine even if there's a wait, it would move pretty quick. It's at Universal, so it always seemed busy to me. Maybe after a show would be a better time? Who knows, but if you like cool vibes, alcohol and chocolate, then be my friend... then go here!

The burger here is one of the best burgers I've ever had! So delicious and juicy. I had the pumpkin espresso martini which was perfect the season. Our server was super nice, she made sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant was pretty cool. I would come back again

Stopped in with my family this morning. My niece is obsessed with steampunk and loved everything, especially the characters walking around. Great location on City Walk in between Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Eric was our server and he took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. We were planning on ordering milkshakes because they look incredible but got too full on lunch. I ordered the Braised Short Rib which was so yummy.

Stopped into this place on a Sunday evening for dinner. Busy as always with an hour wait for the inside around 6:30pm so we decided to sit outside for immediate seating. Beautiful view of city walk next to the water. Great way to wine down. Waitress seemed a bit in a hurry so we ordered quickly. We both got the meatloaf and a cocktail. The drinks were ok and the food was decent. Better than expected to be honest. The meatloaf is also made with sirloin which makes a difference. And it had a reduction sauce which was amazing. Overall, 7/10. Not sure if I'd go back for a sit down meal just because of the crowd in the place. It was so packed inside because of the store downstairs, but I may return for some dessert as the choices are endless.

Our family dined here recently and it was a great experience. We started with a couple of cocktails, the Macadamia Chocolate Cherry and the High Fashioned. Both were very delicious. For dinner I had the berry salad, brisket and wild mushroom meatloaf for my hubby finally tooth and blue for my vegan family. We all enjoyed our meal. One of the highlights of our dining experience was the table visit by Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux - Tinker Toothsome and her side kick Jaques. There are plenty of deserts to choose from, I picked out a box of Chocolates to take home from the candy sweets store. It's worth a visit if you are in Universal City Walk.

We love coming here whenever we come to Universal City walk! The food is good and the desserts are amazing. We got the shake flight which was very worth it! I just wish you could choose from any flavor and not just a few. The flight was $55 and you got 5 10oz shakes for that price! (The regular shakes are 16oz and about $18 each). My kids were so excited to each get their own this time. And they love calling to the "owner " and her robot companion when they are walking around.

So fun!! Who doesn't want to eat in a steam punk designed chocolate factory giving Wonka vibes? The portions are perfect and especially good if you share appetizers, you'll stop have room for dinner and a little for dessert. The milkshakes are awesome and there's a lot of variety. Our service was helpful and quick. I love the decor and gift shop. Plenty to look at and tasty food to try!!
